Celestia and Luna are gone. Equestria has been cast into a state of eternal twilight with no one to govern over the cycle of day and night, and magic now permeates the land that once took advantage of their control over it. Colonies of ponies have surfaced across the continent, chased from their homes by all types of monsters and unimaginable horrors that have risen without the will of the Alicorn sisters to keep them in check. Some still cling to the desperate hope that one day they will return to the life they once lived, while others have made a life for themselves in this new, colorless world doing whatever is needed to survive.
