You need to see this," yelled Spike down the hallway. Twilight Sparkle, hearing him, rushed over to the throne room, where the young dragon seemed panicky. "what's wrong, Spike", Twilight asked, concerned for her assistant. Spike pointed to the cutie mark map and that's when Twilight saw what had caused Spike's distress. For one, the cutie mark map had changed, instead of showing a map of Equestria, it was showing a map of what looked like a small island. Twilight walked closer to the map and examined it. Yes, it was showing a island, with another large island to the west and what looked like multiple divisions. " how strange, why is the cutie mark map showing a island", Twilight wondered out loud. Using the map as a reference, Twilight rummaged through her atlas books to see if this island appeared on any Royal charts. Despite this, she could not find this island and when she came back to the cutie mark map, the map had changed once again, this time showing a cutie mark over a city. Twilight zoomed in on the location and what she saw caused her to gasp. The city being showed looked a bit like Canterlot, but much bigger and one of its defining features was a clock tower towards a major part of the city. Even more surprising was the cutie mark being transmitted: Pinkie Pie's. Suddenly, Twilight's train of thought ended when she heard a knock at the door. " I'll get it," Spike said, jumping down from the map and rushing to the door. Upon opening the door, a familiar pink pony began her rumbling, " hiya Spike, I just got this cutie mark sensation going on and well, i figured something was happening at the map and so I rushed here as fast as I could and oh, HMM, is that pancakes I smell"? " uh, yeah, Pinkie, we just had breakfast, want to come in", Spike asked. Pinkie bounced her way into the castle and asked, " where's Twilight"? " right here, Pinkie", Twilight replied, smiling at her friend. " hiya Twilight, i came here as fast I could, are there any other cutie marks on the map," the eccentric pink pony asked. Twilight shook her head. " no, just yours, and that's not even the strangest part. The map... it's showing what looks like another country and the thing is, I can't find it on any of my maps," Twilight says, sighing. Twilight led Pinkie down to the cutie mark map and showed her the oddity. Pinkie peered at the map, utterly captured by it. " ooh, I've never seen this city before, it looks like Canterlot", Pinkie gasps. Twilight nods and replies, " I got into contact with Princess Celestia and any minute now, I should be getting some of the maps from the Royal Canterlot library". A few minutes later, Twilight, Pinkie Pie, and Spike are pouring over the newly shipped maps from Canterlot. " hmm, I see," Twilight murmurs to herself. " what is it, Twilight, " Spike asks excitedly. Twilight shows them the map she found the answer to. " according to this, the landmass we found, it's not from this world, it's almost like that other world I was sent to", Twilight explains. " ooh, you mean the world where you met that really awesome guy and all your fans were freaking out and were like, " sink this ship" and stuff", Pinkie asked. Twilight blushed a little and replied, " yeah that guy, but what do you mean " my fans" ? " oh, nothing, just a hunch", Pinkie replied. " well, we need to get you to this place somehow, after all, the map WANTS you to go there, " Twilight explains. "Spike, can you find me a book with a inter-dimensional teleportation spell, please, " asked Twilight. "sure thing, Twilight, " spike replies, giving her the thumbs up. He then rushed to the library and began flipping through pages of spellbooks until he found the one Twilight wanted. " here you go, Twilight, " Spike exclaims, reaching out to her with his clawed hand. " Thank you, Spike, " Twilight replies, lifting the book with her magic. Bringing the spellbook to eye level, Twilight opened it up to the page Spike had marked. As she read the page, she nodded slowly, murmuring, " hmm" every so often. " well, can you do the spell, " Spike asked nervously. " yeah, can you" Pinkie asked, bouncing a little as she said so. " I'm not sure, guys. It'll require intense amounts of concentration", Twilight replies... Meeting PinkieAt 6 AM, John heard a loud noise coming from the kitchen. " what was that," he wondered. At that moment, John's cat, a calico and browned furred feline named " Caitlin" rushed down to the kitchen. Waking Max and Chris up, John told them about the strange noise, which they investigated upon hearing it once again. Grabbing a flashlight, the three boys headed downstairs to the kitchen. Upon entering the kitchen, John used the flashlight to scan the room, and that's when he saw, off on the far corner, an unusual figure. He realized it was a pink pony, and when she looked back at them, her face covered in chocolate, she asked, " what? I'm hungry". The three of them stood there, they're jaws dropped in shock. " no way," John muttered before the three of them collapsed. Later, John was awakened by the sound of a party popper. "ah," he yelled, startled. Pinkie giggled and replied, " rise and shine, guys, whoo whoo"! John looked at her, shocked. " no way. How and why are you here, " he asked. Suddenly, Max hugged Pinkie and said, " oh my god, yes, Pinkie Pie is here, this is so amazing"! Chris scratched Pinkie behind the ear and smiled. John softened a little and sighed. "Pinkie, what are you doing here," he asked, kneeling down to her level. Pinkie looked up at him and replied, " well, you see, my cutie mark was glowing, so I figured that the map was going crazy too, so I hopped over to Twilight's castle and we saw this strange city on the map and it looked all pretty and everything, so Twilight had to send me using one of her spells". John looked over to his three mates, who both gave him a look of, " what is going on? He then turned back to Pinkie, who had left. Panicking, John told the others, " oh no, if my parents see her, they're going to go crazy. Come on, we need to catch her". The three headed down to the kitchen and they saw Pinkie Pie opening the fridge. " Pinkie, come on, we need to hide you before my mum and dad see you", John desperately whispered to her. " hold on, I'm thirsty", Pinkie whined, looking through the fridge. She then grabbed a jug of chocolate milk, and began chugging it down. Chris was going to stop her, but Max reminded him that Pinkie could do this all the time. Once she finished, Pinkie made a satisfied sigh and licked the milk mustache off her lips. " okay, all better," she replied. Sighing, the three made sure to hide Pinkie under John's bed. Upon being asked about the strange noises, John said that Max had been sleepwalking and that he was having a lucid dream. When the coast was clear, they let Pinkie come out from underneath the bed. " so, what city is this anyway, and why do you all sound like you're from Canterlot", Pinkie asked, tilting her head to the side. John turned to Max, realizing that they hadn't yet explained to her about Britain and more specifically, London. Turning to Pinkie, John explains, " Pinkie, that city you and Twilight saw, that was the city of London and the island she saw is called, " Britain". More specifically, you're in England now". Pinkie thought for a moment, then replied, " oh, so that's what this place is called. Sheesh, it reminded me so much of Canterlot". John couldn't blame Pinkie for thinking that. Many a time, he often compared life in Canterlot to life in England and the entirety of the United Kingdom. " so, do you have any idea as to why the cutie mark map sent you here," Max asked. Pinkie shrugged and replied, " I dunno, the sky person writing this figured it'd be a good idea to come here; I guess because of friendship problems". John rubbed his goatee and replied, " I guess Twilight didn't know either, but the map sent you here for a reason". " well, I guess there's no time to figure that out now, let's get ready for the new episode of MLP", Chris suggested. A bit later, the three boys, and one pink pony, sat in the living room couch and turned it to the Discovery Kids channel. " ooh, what's this," Pinkie asked, she then went silent when she saw what was screen: a episode of My Little Pony, Friendship is magic. Pinkie began to get curious when she realized that the events of the episode occurred about three days ago. What was going on? It was then that things got really, really interesting. Enter the humansLondon, England " hey, man, not cool", John said to the bully in front of him. The bully, whose name was Greg, laughed and said, " make me, pony faggot". John sighed. This is what he had to deal with everyday, along with having it worse because he was gay. Greg was a massive 16 year old kid, but not in the muscle sense, heck, he probably eat nothing but chips all the time and stuff. John on the other hand, was mostly average height and build, wore glasses and could usually be seen wearing a anime shirt and other such apparel. " why don't you go pick on someone else, jerk", John replied, wanting nothing more than to be left alone. Greg sneered and punched John in the stomach before walking away. His boyfriend, Chris, rushed over to him, tears in his eyes. " John, are you okay, " he asked, frantically. John gasped and replied, " yeah, I am, don't worry about me". Chris's expression soften and he sighed. " why can't people like Greg just leave us alone," Chris asked sadly. John hugged Chris tightly. " don't worry, Chris. People like Greg don't run the show now, he can't change us", John replies, kissing Chris on the forehead. " okay, Babe, whatever you say, " Chris says, rubbing John's beard. They give each other a quick kiss and they go on their day. Later in the day, John's best friend, Max runs up to him, saying, " hey, John, I heard what happened, are you okay"? John smiled and replied, " yes, me and Chris are okay". Max had been John's best friend ever since he had moved from Yorkshire to London about 5 years back. It was through Max that John discovered My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic, and ever since then, the two had established a good friendship. Max was a bit rounder than John, though not by much, and he regularly exercised, much like what John does. The two friends have a Youtube channel and have gotten quite a bit of following in the brony community, going by the names of "Rainbowbrony6" and "Max223", but are also known by their OC names of "Motion" and " Film Reel". " so, John, are we good for tomorrow", Max asked, smiling. Tomorrow was Saturday, which meant that after John watched the new MLP episode with his boyfriend, Max would go over to his house and they would film their review of the new MLP episode. " well, yeah, we still should be good for the review, just need to update the animation software we use", John replied. " cool, cool, well, see you tomorrow, bro", Max said, giving his buddy a bro hug. " see ya later, mate", John replied, heading home. GoodbyeIt was a Sunday in the middle of July, and it was time for the Mane Six to go. After collecting two months of data on this world, Twilight was confident she had enough information to have a decent report for Princess Celestia. Still, leaving this world behind and heading back to Equestria is still a difficult task, for the ponies had built up a pretty good friendship with the three bronies who had provided them with a place to stay. " NO, MAX, I don't want to leave", Pinkie cried, hugging Max's leg. " it'll be okay, Pinkie, " Max replied, petting the pink pony. " you were a great friend and I'll remember you always," Max continued. Sniffing, Pinkie hugged Max tightly and replied, " I hope we see each other again". " We will, Pinkie, we will", Max replied. " well, sugarcube, Ah guess this is goodbye", Applejack said to John, tears in her eye. " yeah, it was a lot of fun, try to remember us back on the farm", John replied. AJ nodded and she hugged him, crying a little. " I thought you cried on the inside", John said a little jokingly. AJ giggled and they both laughed a little. Rainbow hovered to Max and gave him a hoof-bump, which he accepted. " hey, try not to miss us too much, okay, Max, I wouldn't want you to be sad all the time, eh", Rainbow advised, smirking a little. " I'll try my best, Rainbow, you can count on it," Max replied. Rarity walked up to John and said, " well, darling, here you go, a new set of clothes and a little something to remember us by". John took the clothes and noticed that Rarity had also given him pins of the Elements of Harmony. " thanks, Rarity,", he replied, hugging her. Fluttershy was hugging Chris and she said, " well, I hope you have a wonderful life after we're gone". " yeah, me too", Chris replied, giving her a photo of the English countryside. Finally, Twilight said her goodbyes. " John, Chris, Max, thank you guys so much for giving us a opportunity to stay in your world. I hope we see each other again", Twilight said. Then there was a massive group hug and finally, Twilight summoned the spell to return home, ending their adventure to Earth. ArrivalPonyville, Equestria " Okay, I think I got this," Twilight at last told Pinkie, a bead of sweat appearing on her forehead. Pinkie jumped up from her seat and says excitedly, " finally, it was getting kinda boring waiting, I mean, sure, I like your castle and all, but it's no fun just sitting around, ya know". Twilight chuckles and replies, " yeah, I know how you feel, Pinkie. Now, please stand still, this requires a lot of concentration". Pinkie, surprisingly enough, managed to stand still and patiently wait for Twilight. Taking a deep breath, Twilight closed her eyes and began summoning her energy to cast the spell. Concentrating, Twilight's horn began to glow with it's usual bright purple. Twilight eventually heard a loud " whoop" and when she opened her eyes, Pinkie was gone. The spell had worked. Several hours earlier... A harsh storm had come over London, the rain pelting the streets and buildings like tiny little bullets being fired from the sky. John was staring out the window of his apartment in the residential district. It was a Friday night, that meant he, Max, and Chris would be spending the night there and watch the MLP episode in the morning. John had introduced Max to Chris a couple of years back and the two took a liking to each other, being that there were both bronies and huge fans of Harry Potter. It was a little past four, so John and his parents were having tea in dining room. " so, honey, how are you and Chris doing, " his mother asked. " we're doing just fine, Mum, I got him a little something for his birthday," John replied, taking a sip of tea. " that's wonderful, John, I'm so proud of you", his mum said cheerfully. John's dad merely grunted and went back to reading the newspaper. When John came out of the closet to his parents a little over a year ago, it had caused a bit of ruffling in the family. His mother grew to accept the fact, even being supportive of her son. John's dad, however, wasn't as accepting. He was a Conservative man, having served in the Falkland War in the late 1980's and he became more distant from John, not even talking to him. It didn't help matters when John introduced his parents to Chris, his boyfriend, though his mother took quite a shining to him. At 8:00, Max and Chris showed up to John's apartment and they had dinner together. Afterwards, they got ready for bed and at 10:30, they went to bed, with the sound of rain still pelting the windows. Pinkie learns about bronies and stuff" why were you guys watching something about me and my friends that happen three days ago, and, how exactly do you know who any of us were and stuff, ooh, I am so full of questions RIGHT NOW", Pinkie asks, running around in a circle. Rubbing the back of his neck, John replies, " well, Pinkie, in our world, the adventures that you and your friends have, well, are considered a form of entertainment, mostly marketed towards a younger crowd". Pinkie gives him an inquisitive look and asks, " well, what do you mean a " younger crowd"?! I mean sure, I am very popular at fillies and colts' birthday parties. Twilight loves teaching kids, but we also like hanging out with older ponies too, and our adventures are just so super-duper party-popping awesome that there's no way they shouldn't be shared with everypony". " well, you see Pinkie," Chris begins, "" in our world, you're a cartoon character, and a pink pony is , well, normally considered for little girls". " well, you are guys and you like this show, and ooh, I love cartoons, cartoons are amazing, but, why do you guys like watching the adventures of me and my friends," Pinkie asks, her ears twitching. It is then that John, Max, and Chris begin explaining to Pinkie about the bronies and the whole concept of guys liking My Little Pony. As soon as John uttered the word, "brony", Pinkie asked, " ooh, a brony?! What's a brony? is it a type of brownie, can I have one, OOH, is it a chocolate chip brownie"?! John chuckled and replies, " no, Pinkie, a brony isn't any type of brownie, it's a older male fan of the show My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic". " ah, I told the mysterious mare who wrote of our adventures that this would be popular someday", Pinkie said, giggling. " oh, do you mean Lauren Faust, the creator of the show," Max asked. Pinkie looked at him curiously, " Lauren Faust? I don't know her", she replied. About two hours later, John and Max began showing her around the internet and even let Pinkie see the creative process John uses to create the show he and Max have for MLP reviews. The show featured John and Max's OCs, Motion and Film Reel, sitting in two chairs with footage of the episode behind them on a screen and the style being reminiscent of Siskel and Ebert, with the two trading opinions on the episode and etc. Once the episode was finished, and Chris had gone home, Max and John continued to show Pinkie the brony fandom online, introducing her to pony music and other such things. " wow, who knew this fandom was so AWESOME and my fans are just the coolest bunch ever", Pinkie exclaimed, squealing. Max then leaned over and said, " boop", tapping Pinkie on the nose and she did the same, giggling. Unusual day at schoolIt had been three days since Pinkie came to the human world and now, John was going to introduce her to life in school, since he figured leaving Pinkie by herself was a bad idea and all. After putting on his Applejack dog tag over his anime shirt, John said to Pinkie, " alright, Pinkie, looks like I'm taking you to school, can you fit in the bookbag"? " aw, okay," she replied, giggling as she entered the bag. " ooh, it is quite dark in here, but I might be able to get a teensy weensy space", she states. " well, better than nothing, I suppose," John replies, slipping the bag over his shoulder. Surprisingly enough, the bag didn't feel any heavier than it already did, probably had to do with Pinkie being able to bend reality to her will or something. Shrugging, John entered the bus and found Max and Chris was sitting in the same seat. " hey, guys, what's up," he asks, giving Max a fistbump and a hug to Chris. " oh, nothing much, bro, we were just talking about how much fun we had yesterday, is Pinkie still with you", Max asked. John leaned forward and replied in a whisper, " yea, she's still with me, I brought her along to keep her out of trouble". Chris nodded and he smiled, whispering back, " I'm sure you made the right call". John gave Chris a kiss on the cheek and replied, " hope so too". " well, well, well, lookee what we got here, three pony faggots, oh wait, two of you are faggots, haha," Fat-as-heck Greg rudely said. John gave him a hard look and replied, " Greg, why don't you go pick one someone your own size, or do you not have anything better to do"? " nope, this IS what I'm SUPPOSE to do; teach faggots a lesson," Greg replied, sneering. Pinkie heard the conversation and stuck her head out of the bag, looking around her till she saw Greg. " why is that big kid picking on my friends, it's not cool", Pinkie thought to herself, sinking back into the bag. " Listen Greg, you might not like me and John, but you don't have to bully us, you know", Chris explained, now getting worried. " yeah yeah, whatever, " greg replied, laughing and returning to his sleeping position. " I hate that guy," John said, shaking his head. " we all do, bro, we all do," Max replied, sighing. At the school, the three all went to their lockers, where John opened his bag and Pinkie sticks her head out. " wow, I didn't know you guys dealt with jerks like that, what was his problem, and why was he calling you guys that word, I thought you guys were people", Pinkie asked. Sighing, John replied, " Pinkie, do you have ponies in Equestria that, you know, like the same-sex"? "well, of course we do, John. I love gay ponies, they are so fun to be around, and we're pretty much all equal", Pinkie states. " Well Pinkie, you see, we don't necessarily have the same kind of equality as you do in Equestria. Gay people, like me and Chris, aren't always treated right and thankfully, people like Greg aren't very common around here anymore", John replies in a sad tone. " looks like somepony needs the magic of friendship," Pinkie declares, rubbing her hooves in a crafty way. "what are you going to do," Chris inquires nervously. " oh, you'll see, you'll see," the pink pony replies, chuckling. Later that day, after school, Greg comes back again, this time with his posse of overweight jerks. However, Pinkie saw them come ahead of time and made ready her plan. As Greg approached John, John began to get nervous, unsure of what was to happen. Then, something amazing happened: Pinkie Pie popped out of the bag, blew confetti and a party popper in Greg's face, then she jumped out of the bag and landed on Greg's stomach. " hey there, I'm Pinkie Pie, and I noticed somepony needed the magic of friendship", Pinkie states. Horrified, the rest of Greg's posse ran down the street. " hey, get back here you cowards", Greg shouted. Pinkie got up close to him and said, " now, I see somepony's been messing with my friends, and I don't appreciate that very much". "w-what are you going to do to me, you crazy pink pony", Greg asked, trying to sound tough. " oh, not much, just show you the magic of friendship," she replied, taking a radio out from only-Celestia-knows-where- and began playing the song, " Smile Smile Smile". The trio laughed and Greg began yelling, boy, oh boy, was revenge sweet. Rest of the Mane Six arriveUnbeknownst to John, during the middle of the night, Pinkie Pie returned to Equestria. As Spike was sleeping on the couch, Pinkie suddenly appeared with a loud, " poom-oof" sound. " poom-oof", very funny, writer", Pinkie said aloud, giggling. Spike suddenly got up, awoken by the loud noise. " wait , what was that, is there a intruder", Spike asked frantically. Giggling, Pinkie replied, " oh silly Spike, it's just me". " Oh, hi, Pinkie Pie, what's up? Found anything interesting", Spike asked. " Spike, who is in there," Twilight asked. She looked like she suddenly got up, with her mane in a mess and her eyes were baggy. " Pinkie Pie, how did you get here", Twilight asked, shocked when she saw the pink pony standing there. " oh, it was nothing, a little magic here, a little there, boy, was it fun", Pinkie replied, giggling. Twilight sighed and said, " well, I suppose you came here because you found something". Pinkie nodded excitedly. " oh, yes, I did. I think you should get the others," replied Pinkie. Twilight raised an eyebrow. " well, this must be very interesting. Well, let me make some tea and you can tell me over breakfast", Twilight explained, yawning. If there was one good thing about the new castle, was that the kitchen was far better stocked than the one at the old library, especially thanks to being a princess. Half an hour later, Twilight, Pinkie, and Spike were all sitting at a table, drinking tea and eating little biscuits. " So, Pinkie, can you please explain to me wha"- before Twilight could finish, she noticed that her cutie mark was glowing. " the map", Twilight gasped, galloping over to the cutie mark map room. Upon arrival, Twilight realized that now there were six cutie marks hovering over the city, each one sparkling like jewels. It didn't take long before the others arrived. " what in tarnation is going on here," yelled Applejack, who looked liked she was getting ready for work. " yes, I must say, what is going on here? I didn't even have time to brush my mane", Rarity questioned, obviously annoyed. " girls, I'm glad you're here, looks like things got a bit more complicated," explained Twilight. After seating in their respective thrones, Twilight asks, " alright, Pinkie, please explain what you found". Pinkie nods and she explains what she saw, everything from the city of London, to the three bronies who might need them. Rainbow raises a eyebrow and says, " eh, I dunno about this whole, " brony" thing, it seems kinda creepy if you ask me". Fluttershy gave Rainbow a hard look. " Rainbow, even if it is strange, that's no reason to judge. They're probably just like us", Fluttershy says defensively. "well, in any case, I say we go there. If this " London" is anything like Pinkie described, then I suppose it'd be well worth the trip," Rarity said. " ah shoot, I reckon it can't be so bad. We should be willing to help somepony out", Applejack agreed. Twilight nods and asks Spike to get a notepad so that he could take notes. " we should present our findings to Princess Celestia once this is over", Twilight explains. Once all of them are in the living room together, and Spike sitting on her saddle, Twilight conjures up the spell, sending them all to London. Ponies and humansAs John slowly woke up, he saw a strange green object sitting on his dresser. Unable to make it out, John grabbed his glasses and when he put them on, he saw a baby alligator just sitting there, staring at him. " oh, hiya, I guess you finally found Gummy", Pinkie says, bouncing into John's room. " uh, Pinkie, why is your pet gator staring at me," John asked, perplexed. " oh, he just likes you, that's all," Pinkie replied. Despite the gator's appearance, a lot was happening in his mind. In fact, if one was to look inside it's mind, that person would hear the following monologue: " what is the difference between humans and ponies? Both are creatures of extraordinary potential and they both are in search for their special talents. Oh sure, the humans may not have the cutie mark, but they have a endless search for their purpose in life". This monologue, unbeknownst to either John or Pinkie, was followed by Gummy licking his eyeball. "Pinkie, where did ya- oh, there you are", Applejack said, stopping at the doorway. John gasped and had a hard time believing what he saw. Applejack, one of his favorite ponies, was standing in his doorway. "oh, hiya Applejack, this is John, one of the humans I was telling you about", Pinkie replied, pointing her hoof to John. Tipping her hat to him, Applejack stated, " well, howdy pardner. Ah hear you're a fan of ours". " y-yeah, I am, are the others here", John asked, still in disbelief. " yeah, they sure are," Applejack replied, heading back downstairs. Pinkie grabbed Gummy and bounced back down stairs, with John close behind her. When he got downstairs, John was surprised to see the rest of the Mane Six in his apartment. Twilight was examining some of the machines in the house, with Spike taking dictated notes. Rarity was in the laundry room, while Fluttershy was talking with John's cat, and Rainbow was mostly in the corner, looking around. Shocked, John quickly grabbed his phone and dialed Max and Chris, asking them to come over to his apartment quickly. Half an hour later, Max and Chris arrived, and they too were surprised to see the Mane Six at the apartment. "wow, I didn't know Pinkie was going to bring all her friends here", Max said excitedly. Twilight smiled and approached them, with Spike by her side. " well, hello there, I am Princess Twilight Sparkle, I suppose you already know that, and can I properly guess that you three are the humans Pinkie talked about," Twilight asked. Chris nodded and replied, " that's right". The rest of the Mane Six arrive and introductions are made. " so, this is London, it looks a bit like Canterlot", Rarity commented. " yup, it sure is, maybe I'll show you around sometime", John replied. He noticed that Applejack's expression turned from her usual expression to one of sadness and Rainbow Dash seemed distant. " I wonder why", John thought to himself...... Getting acquainted with LondonOver the course of the next several days, John, Chris, and Max would show the Mane Six the ropes of human life. Out of all them, Twilight and Rarity became the most comfortable the fastest, with Twilight being utterly fascinated by the world around her, and Rarity was impressed by how " Canterlotish" London was and even the whole island of Britain. One day, Max came to the apartment with his bookbag full of books and set it on the table. " OOH, What did you bring, " Pinkie asked, racing quickly to the table. Laughing, Max replied, " it's mostly for Twilight, though I did get you some snacks". He pulled out a package containing little Kit-Kat bars. Pinkie's eyes widen and she replied, " ooh, chocolate, thanks"! She took them and bounced away, giggling. " good morning, Max, what you brought me today", Twilight asked, smiling. Max pulled out a series of seven books. " These are the Harry Potter books and I think you'll like them", Max replies. Twilight got a gleam in her eye as she said, " ooh, these look fascinating. You humans always have interesting stuff". While Max was showing her the Harry Potter books, Rarity was examining John's clothes. " my, I must say, Darling, this fashion seems a bit too casual for a person like you," Rarity commented, a little hesitant on the word," person". John shook his head and replied, " no, Rarity, it's okay, really it is, you don't have to do this". Rarity looked at him and replied, " well, I insist and I won't even charge you for it. After all, you are fabulous on the inside, why not make it look like it too". John sighed and he knew, in a sense, she was right. "alright, Rarity, go ahead," John finally consented. " fabulous, I'll get started right away", Rarity said, levitating the clothes and she headed downstairs. Applejack was staring out the window, light rain was falling on the city streets and the sky was grey and cloudy. " hey, Applejack, what's up," Rainbow asked, sitting next to her. " Ah don't know, Rainbow, Ah thought coming here would be a fun experience and all, but to me, this is too fancy like for my taste", Applejack replied, sadness in her tone. Rainbow sighed and responded, " yeah, I know how you feel, AJ. I'm not sure I'm used to this whole " brony" thing yet. I mean, yeah, sure, it's cool that there are fans of me, but why "bronies" ? Applejack looked back out the window. " Ah don't know, Rainbow, Ah don't know", she replied. A touching moment with ApplejackIt was a Saturday morning, and John, who turned 17 last week, was now in possession of a older model car. Hanging the keys up, he noticed Applejack sitting at the window, just staring outside. Approaching her, he asked, " what's wrong, Applejack". Flinching a little, she turned to John and sighed. " howdy, John,", she replied. " are you okay, you're not yourself," John asked, concerned. Sighing, Applejack turned to him and replied, " Ah just don't feel at home here. Its not you or anything, Sugarcube, but life here reminds me too much of Canterlot and Ah'm just a simple country pony". " Well, Applejack, not everyone here in England lived like this, how about you and I go on a little trip and I show you a side of England that you don't see here", John asked. Applejack nodded, saying that would be nice, and the two got into John's car and they headed off. After a few hours of driving, John pulled up to his old town in Yorkshire. Upon seeing it for herself, Applejack was hit by a sense of wonder and nostalgia. Seeing a small town like this excited her and for the first time in a while, a genuine smile could be seen on her face. Even better was when she saw a lot of the farms past the town, all the while John was explaining how he was raised in the English countryside and as a farmer's kid. After showing her around, the two stopped at a local diner, with John bringing some food out for AJ. As they were eating, Applejack turns to John and says, " John, thank you so much for showing me this, Ah'm glad that there is something I can relate to here". She then proceeds to hug him tightly and John returns it. " your welcome, AJ", he replied, grinning. Searching for the right ice cream flavorBack in London.... It was a somewhat warm afternoon in London, and Max and Pinkie Pie decided to go get some ice cream. As they were heading towards the ice cream parlor, Max was explaining to Pinkie about how he felt bad for Rainbow Dash since she was so distant. " oh, you have to forgive her, Max, Rainbow just isn't used to the whole brony thing yet. Well, I mean I have, then again, I'm okay with just about everything," Pinkie rambled. Smiling, Max replied, " yeah, I guess so, Pinkie, I just wish Rainbow will open up to us". " don't worry, Max, she'll learn to accept you. Now come on, let's turn that frown upside down and stop talking about sad things", Pinkie replied, grinning ear to ear. Upon reaching the ice cream parlor, the two rushed in, desperate for ice cream. Max took a deep sigh of relief when he entered the air-conditioned parlor. The parlor was full of ice cream related memorabilia, with little booths and tables set up in most of the space. The clerk at the counter was a young woman with brown hair pulled back into a little bun. She raised a eyebrow upon seeing Max and Pinkie. "what's with that pink pony, eh, ain't you a little old," she asked in a thick Scottish accent. Ignoring the question and smiling, Max and Pinkie began looking through the selection of ice cream. There were all sorts of flavors, ranging from your usual vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, etc, to more exotic flavors like raspberry and coffee flavored ice cream. " oh my, there are so many flavors to choose from, how can I possibly make a decision", Pinkie gasped, whimpering a little. After studying it a few more minutes, Pinkie began pointing to individual flavors and saying, " I want that flavor, that flavor, and that flavor". In the end, Max got himself a cookies and cream flavored ice cream while Pinkie got herself a raspberry, blueberry, and vanilla flavored ice cream. " hmm, this is delicious", Pinkie said after a few minutes of eating. Max smiled and replied, " I know right, ice cream is delicious, no matter where it comes from". Pinkie agreed and finishing eating quickly, licking her lips afterwards. Max chuckled and this and he said, " come on, Pinkie, let's go home". Pinkie grinned and replied, " all right, let's go, WOO HOO!" She then hopped on Max's shoulders and he piggybacked her all the way back to the apartment, with several people giving them strange one looks. Back at the parlor, the clerk stood at shock at what she saw, then she chalked it up to probably some sort of prank. Rainbow becomes friends with MaxIt was a Friday night, and Max and Chris were over at John's apartment for the sleepover. Rainbow Dash was the only one up at that hour and she was laying down on the carpet, a lot on her mind. She looked up at the couch and realized that Max was shivering, probably from being cold. Overwhelmed, Rainbow grabbed the nearest blanket and placed it over Max. She then hovered down to the couch with him and curled up on the far end of the couch, smiling. " good night, Max", she whispered before yawning and falling asleep. The next morning, Max awoke to find Rainbow Dash curled up at the end of the sofa, sleeping peacefully. He then noticed the blanket draped over him and wondered, " did Rainbow put that there"? Rainbow awoke and let out a big yawn, smacking as she did so. " Good morning, Rainbow", Max said cheerfully. "Good morning", Rainbow replied, still trying to fully awake. As the day went on, Max and Rainbow talked a bit more and she began to open up to him more, even admitting it was her that put the blanket over him. Deciding to repay the favor, Max figured he would build her a bed similar to the one she had back in Equestria. After buying the materials, Max spent the next week building the Cloudsdale style bed. That Friday, Max took the bed over to John's apartment, asking him to put the bed in his room. Thankfully, it wasn't that big, so it was easy to put in. Later that day, Max brought Rainbow into the room, covering her eyes as he did so. " Oh come on, let me see", Rainbow said, slightly irritated. " just a little further, and now," Max said, uncovering his hands from her eyes. Rainbow gasped when she saw the bed. " Max, I can't believe- oh, thank you, thank you", Rainbow said, hugging Max tightly. From there, Rainbow really opened up to Max, and he began showing her some of the sports people in England play, though Rainbow was most excited about football. The two played a lot of football over the course of the next few days. The FightTwo days later..... Rainbow and Max have returned to the apartment after a football match and the two sat on the couch, reading their favorite books. Max had got Rainbow all the current Daring Do books that were written in this world, which was pretty cool by Rainbow's standards. As the two were reading, Pinkie Pie came in, and her mood went from her usual happy nature to kind of sad and mad. " so, Rainbow, I see you and Max have been getting along," Pinkie said, glaring at Rainbow. " yeah, sure have Pinkie, something seem to be the problem," Rainbow asked matter-of-factly. " I thought you didn't like Max, Rainbow, I thought you weren't a fan of bronies", Pinkie replied, her voice rising. " well, yeah, not at first, but now Max and I are pretty cool. What's up with you, Pinkie Pie," Rainbow asked, turning her head around to look at her friend. " I WAS HIS FRIEND FIRST, RAINBOW,AND I'M NOT LOSING A FRIEND", Pinkie yelled at her. " whoa, Pinkie, calm down, nopony is stealing your friend," Rainbow said, trying to reassure her . For a while, the two went back and forth, until finally Max set both of them down and he began showing Pinkie that they were still friends. " in fact, I made this for you," Max explained, holding a gift for Pinkie. Taking it, she unwrapped the gift and gasped when she saw what was inside: it was a framed photo of their time together at the ice cream parlor. "just a little something to remember me by, Pinkie," Max said, smiling. With tears in her eyes, Pinkie hugged Max tightly and she replied, " oh, thanks, Max, you're the best. I'm so sorry for doubting our friendship". She then turned to Rainbow and apologized to her as well. That night, Pinkie, Max, and Rainbow all slept in the same room, with Rainbow sleeping on her cloud bed and Pinkie sleeping on the foot of Max's bed. Taking the ponies to BronyconOne week later.. " are you sure this is completely necessary", Rainbow asked as she was being fitted into the costume. " yes, Rainbow, this is necessary, we don't need other bronies knowing about you", Max replied, smiling. " Besides, Twilight's spell will make sure they look like humans in the costumes," John explained, fixing his glasses as he said so. " oh, don't worry, Rainbow Dash, this is going to be fun", Pinkie said excitedly. " well, shoot, Ah reckon these suits are a little tight, but they'll do," commented Applejack. Two hours later, all ten of them entered the train station headed towards Manchester, the site of the UK bronycon. It took about an hour to get there and 10 minutes after they got off the train, they reached the convention center. " tickets please", the lady sitting in the main hallway asked. After producing 10 tickets and heading it to her, the lady said, " alright, enjoy your time at bronycon". For John, Chris, and Max, the convention was like any other, but for the mane six, it was amazing. " wow, I didn't know there was so many fans of mine," Twilight said in amazement. " yeah, it truly is amazing. The fandom is only a few years old and it is already one of the biggest groups out there," Chris explained, who was holding John's hand the whole time. At one point, the group attended a show where the DJ was playing famous songs from the brony community. " THIS IS AWESOME", Rainbow shouted, laughing. They spent the whole day there and afterwards, they got ice cream and sort of just chilled out. " wow, brony culture is so awesome", Rainbow said excitedly. " yeah, totally", John replied. " well, girls, I say this was a well-spent trip," said Twilight, a smile on her face. " YEAH", shouts the rest of the mane six.
New landPonyville, Equestria "Twilight! You need to see this," yelled Spike down the hallway. Twilight Sparkle, hearing him, rushed over to the throne room, where the young dragon seemed panicky. "what's wrong, Spike", Twilight asked, concerned for her assistant. Spike pointed to the cutie mark map and that's when Twilight saw what had caused Spike's distress. For one, the cutie mark map had changed, instead of showing a map of Equestria, it was showing a map of what looked like a small island. Twilight walked closer to the map and examined it. Yes, it was showing a island, with another large island to the west and what looked like multiple divisions. " how strange, why is the cutie mark map showing a island", Twilight wondered out loud. Using the map as a reference, Twilight rummaged through her atlas books to see if this island appeared on any Royal charts. Despite this, she could not find this island and when she came back to the cutie mark map, the map had changed once again, this time showing a cutie mark over a city. Twilight zoomed in on the location and what she saw caused her to gasp. The city being showed looked a bit like Canterlot, but much bigger and one of its defining features was a clock tower towards a major part of the city. Even more surprising was the cutie mark being transmitted: Pinkie Pie's. Suddenly, Twilight's train of thought ended when she heard a knock at the door. " I'll get it," Spike said, jumping down from the map and rushing to the door. Upon opening the door, a familiar pink pony began her rumbling, " hiya Spike, I just got this cutie mark sensation going on and well, i figured something was happening at the map and so I rushed here as fast as I could and oh, HMM, is that pancakes I smell"? " uh, yeah, Pinkie, we just had breakfast, want to come in", Spike asked. Pinkie bounced her way into the castle and asked, " where's Twilight"? " right here, Pinkie", Twilight replied, smiling at her friend. " hiya Twilight, i came here as fast I could, are there any other cutie marks on the map," the eccentric pink pony asked. Twilight shook her head. " no, just yours, and that's not even the strangest part. The map... it's showing what looks like another country and the thing is, I can't find it on any of my maps," Twilight says, sighing. Twilight led Pinkie down to the cutie mark map and showed her the oddity. Pinkie peered at the map, utterly captured by it. " ooh, I've never seen this city before, it looks like Canterlot", Pinkie gasps. Twilight nods and replies, " I got into contact with Princess Celestia and any minute now, I should be getting some of the maps from the Royal Canterlot library". A few minutes later, Twilight, Pinkie Pie, and Spike are pouring over the newly shipped maps from Canterlot. " hmm, I see," Twilight murmurs to herself. " what is it, Twilight, " Spike asks excitedly. Twilight shows them the map she found the answer to. " according to this, the landmass we found, it's not from this world, it's almost like that other world I was sent to", Twilight explains. " ooh, you mean the world where you met that really awesome guy and all your fans were freaking out and were like, " sink this ship" and stuff", Pinkie asked. Twilight blushed a little and replied, " yeah that guy, but what do you mean " my fans" ? " oh, nothing, just a hunch", Pinkie replied. " well, we need to get you to this place somehow, after all, the map WANTS you to go there, " Twilight explains. "Spike, can you find me a book with a inter-dimensional teleportation spell, please, " asked Twilight. "sure thing, Twilight, " spike replies, giving her the thumbs up. He then rushed to the library and began flipping through pages of spellbooks until he found the one Twilight wanted. " here you go, Twilight, " Spike exclaims, reaching out to her with his clawed hand. " Thank you, Spike, " Twilight replies, lifting the book with her magic. Bringing the spellbook to eye level, Twilight opened it up to the page Spike had marked. As she read the page, she nodded slowly, murmuring, " hmm" every so often. " well, can you do the spell, " Spike asked nervously. " yeah, can you" Pinkie asked, bouncing a little as she said so. " I'm not sure, guys. It'll require intense amounts of concentration", Twilight replies...
Meeting PinkieAt 6 AM, John heard a loud noise coming from the kitchen. " what was that," he wondered. At that moment, John's cat, a calico and browned furred feline named " Caitlin" rushed down to the kitchen. Waking Max and Chris up, John told them about the strange noise, which they investigated upon hearing it once again. Grabbing a flashlight, the three boys headed downstairs to the kitchen. Upon entering the kitchen, John used the flashlight to scan the room, and that's when he saw, off on the far corner, an unusual figure. He realized it was a pink pony, and when she looked back at them, her face covered in chocolate, she asked, " what? I'm hungry". The three of them stood there, they're jaws dropped in shock. " no way," John muttered before the three of them collapsed. Later, John was awakened by the sound of a party popper. "ah," he yelled, startled. Pinkie giggled and replied, " rise and shine, guys, whoo whoo"! John looked at her, shocked. " no way. How and why are you here, " he asked. Suddenly, Max hugged Pinkie and said, " oh my god, yes, Pinkie Pie is here, this is so amazing"! Chris scratched Pinkie behind the ear and smiled. John softened a little and sighed. "Pinkie, what are you doing here," he asked, kneeling down to her level. Pinkie looked up at him and replied, " well, you see, my cutie mark was glowing, so I figured that the map was going crazy too, so I hopped over to Twilight's castle and we saw this strange city on the map and it looked all pretty and everything, so Twilight had to send me using one of her spells". John looked over to his three mates, who both gave him a look of, " what is going on? He then turned back to Pinkie, who had left. Panicking, John told the others, " oh no, if my parents see her, they're going to go crazy. Come on, we need to catch her". The three headed down to the kitchen and they saw Pinkie Pie opening the fridge. " Pinkie, come on, we need to hide you before my mum and dad see you", John desperately whispered to her. " hold on, I'm thirsty", Pinkie whined, looking through the fridge. She then grabbed a jug of chocolate milk, and began chugging it down. Chris was going to stop her, but Max reminded him that Pinkie could do this all the time. Once she finished, Pinkie made a satisfied sigh and licked the milk mustache off her lips. " okay, all better," she replied. Sighing, the three made sure to hide Pinkie under John's bed. Upon being asked about the strange noises, John said that Max had been sleepwalking and that he was having a lucid dream. When the coast was clear, they let Pinkie come out from underneath the bed. " so, what city is this anyway, and why do you all sound like you're from Canterlot", Pinkie asked, tilting her head to the side. John turned to Max, realizing that they hadn't yet explained to her about Britain and more specifically, London. Turning to Pinkie, John explains, " Pinkie, that city you and Twilight saw, that was the city of London and the island she saw is called, " Britain". More specifically, you're in England now". Pinkie thought for a moment, then replied, " oh, so that's what this place is called. Sheesh, it reminded me so much of Canterlot". John couldn't blame Pinkie for thinking that. Many a time, he often compared life in Canterlot to life in England and the entirety of the United Kingdom. " so, do you have any idea as to why the cutie mark map sent you here," Max asked. Pinkie shrugged and replied, " I dunno, the sky person writing this figured it'd be a good idea to come here; I guess because of friendship problems". John rubbed his goatee and replied, " I guess Twilight didn't know either, but the map sent you here for a reason". " well, I guess there's no time to figure that out now, let's get ready for the new episode of MLP", Chris suggested. A bit later, the three boys, and one pink pony, sat in the living room couch and turned it to the Discovery Kids channel. " ooh, what's this," Pinkie asked, she then went silent when she saw what was screen: a episode of My Little Pony, Friendship is magic. Pinkie began to get curious when she realized that the events of the episode occurred about three days ago. What was going on? It was then that things got really, really interesting.
Enter the humansLondon, England " hey, man, not cool", John said to the bully in front of him. The bully, whose name was Greg, laughed and said, " make me, pony faggot". John sighed. This is what he had to deal with everyday, along with having it worse because he was gay. Greg was a massive 16 year old kid, but not in the muscle sense, heck, he probably eat nothing but chips all the time and stuff. John on the other hand, was mostly average height and build, wore glasses and could usually be seen wearing a anime shirt and other such apparel. " why don't you go pick on someone else, jerk", John replied, wanting nothing more than to be left alone. Greg sneered and punched John in the stomach before walking away. His boyfriend, Chris, rushed over to him, tears in his eyes. " John, are you okay, " he asked, frantically. John gasped and replied, " yeah, I am, don't worry about me". Chris's expression soften and he sighed. " why can't people like Greg just leave us alone," Chris asked sadly. John hugged Chris tightly. " don't worry, Chris. People like Greg don't run the show now, he can't change us", John replies, kissing Chris on the forehead. " okay, Babe, whatever you say, " Chris says, rubbing John's beard. They give each other a quick kiss and they go on their day. Later in the day, John's best friend, Max runs up to him, saying, " hey, John, I heard what happened, are you okay"? John smiled and replied, " yes, me and Chris are okay". Max had been John's best friend ever since he had moved from Yorkshire to London about 5 years back. It was through Max that John discovered My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic, and ever since then, the two had established a good friendship. Max was a bit rounder than John, though not by much, and he regularly exercised, much like what John does. The two friends have a Youtube channel and have gotten quite a bit of following in the brony community, going by the names of "Rainbowbrony6" and "Max223", but are also known by their OC names of "Motion" and " Film Reel". " so, John, are we good for tomorrow", Max asked, smiling. Tomorrow was Saturday, which meant that after John watched the new MLP episode with his boyfriend, Max would go over to his house and they would film their review of the new MLP episode. " well, yeah, we still should be good for the review, just need to update the animation software we use", John replied. " cool, cool, well, see you tomorrow, bro", Max said, giving his buddy a bro hug. " see ya later, mate", John replied, heading home.
GoodbyeIt was a Sunday in the middle of July, and it was time for the Mane Six to go. After collecting two months of data on this world, Twilight was confident she had enough information to have a decent report for Princess Celestia. Still, leaving this world behind and heading back to Equestria is still a difficult task, for the ponies had built up a pretty good friendship with the three bronies who had provided them with a place to stay. " NO, MAX, I don't want to leave", Pinkie cried, hugging Max's leg. " it'll be okay, Pinkie, " Max replied, petting the pink pony. " you were a great friend and I'll remember you always," Max continued. Sniffing, Pinkie hugged Max tightly and replied, " I hope we see each other again". " We will, Pinkie, we will", Max replied. " well, sugarcube, Ah guess this is goodbye", Applejack said to John, tears in her eye. " yeah, it was a lot of fun, try to remember us back on the farm", John replied. AJ nodded and she hugged him, crying a little. " I thought you cried on the inside", John said a little jokingly. AJ giggled and they both laughed a little. Rainbow hovered to Max and gave him a hoof-bump, which he accepted. " hey, try not to miss us too much, okay, Max, I wouldn't want you to be sad all the time, eh", Rainbow advised, smirking a little. " I'll try my best, Rainbow, you can count on it," Max replied. Rarity walked up to John and said, " well, darling, here you go, a new set of clothes and a little something to remember us by". John took the clothes and noticed that Rarity had also given him pins of the Elements of Harmony. " thanks, Rarity,", he replied, hugging her. Fluttershy was hugging Chris and she said, " well, I hope you have a wonderful life after we're gone". " yeah, me too", Chris replied, giving her a photo of the English countryside. Finally, Twilight said her goodbyes. " John, Chris, Max, thank you guys so much for giving us a opportunity to stay in your world. I hope we see each other again", Twilight said. Then there was a massive group hug and finally, Twilight summoned the spell to return home, ending their adventure to Earth.
ArrivalPonyville, Equestria " Okay, I think I got this," Twilight at last told Pinkie, a bead of sweat appearing on her forehead. Pinkie jumped up from her seat and says excitedly, " finally, it was getting kinda boring waiting, I mean, sure, I like your castle and all, but it's no fun just sitting around, ya know". Twilight chuckles and replies, " yeah, I know how you feel, Pinkie. Now, please stand still, this requires a lot of concentration". Pinkie, surprisingly enough, managed to stand still and patiently wait for Twilight. Taking a deep breath, Twilight closed her eyes and began summoning her energy to cast the spell. Concentrating, Twilight's horn began to glow with it's usual bright purple. Twilight eventually heard a loud " whoop" and when she opened her eyes, Pinkie was gone. The spell had worked. Several hours earlier... A harsh storm had come over London, the rain pelting the streets and buildings like tiny little bullets being fired from the sky. John was staring out the window of his apartment in the residential district. It was a Friday night, that meant he, Max, and Chris would be spending the night there and watch the MLP episode in the morning. John had introduced Max to Chris a couple of years back and the two took a liking to each other, being that there were both bronies and huge fans of Harry Potter. It was a little past four, so John and his parents were having tea in dining room. " so, honey, how are you and Chris doing, " his mother asked. " we're doing just fine, Mum, I got him a little something for his birthday," John replied, taking a sip of tea. " that's wonderful, John, I'm so proud of you", his mum said cheerfully. John's dad merely grunted and went back to reading the newspaper. When John came out of the closet to his parents a little over a year ago, it had caused a bit of ruffling in the family. His mother grew to accept the fact, even being supportive of her son. John's dad, however, wasn't as accepting. He was a Conservative man, having served in the Falkland War in the late 1980's and he became more distant from John, not even talking to him. It didn't help matters when John introduced his parents to Chris, his boyfriend, though his mother took quite a shining to him. At 8:00, Max and Chris showed up to John's apartment and they had dinner together. Afterwards, they got ready for bed and at 10:30, they went to bed, with the sound of rain still pelting the windows.
Pinkie learns about bronies and stuff" why were you guys watching something about me and my friends that happen three days ago, and, how exactly do you know who any of us were and stuff, ooh, I am so full of questions RIGHT NOW", Pinkie asks, running around in a circle. Rubbing the back of his neck, John replies, " well, Pinkie, in our world, the adventures that you and your friends have, well, are considered a form of entertainment, mostly marketed towards a younger crowd". Pinkie gives him an inquisitive look and asks, " well, what do you mean a " younger crowd"?! I mean sure, I am very popular at fillies and colts' birthday parties. Twilight loves teaching kids, but we also like hanging out with older ponies too, and our adventures are just so super-duper party-popping awesome that there's no way they shouldn't be shared with everypony". " well, you see Pinkie," Chris begins, "" in our world, you're a cartoon character, and a pink pony is , well, normally considered for little girls". " well, you are guys and you like this show, and ooh, I love cartoons, cartoons are amazing, but, why do you guys like watching the adventures of me and my friends," Pinkie asks, her ears twitching. It is then that John, Max, and Chris begin explaining to Pinkie about the bronies and the whole concept of guys liking My Little Pony. As soon as John uttered the word, "brony", Pinkie asked, " ooh, a brony?! What's a brony? is it a type of brownie, can I have one, OOH, is it a chocolate chip brownie"?! John chuckled and replies, " no, Pinkie, a brony isn't any type of brownie, it's a older male fan of the show My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic". " ah, I told the mysterious mare who wrote of our adventures that this would be popular someday", Pinkie said, giggling. " oh, do you mean Lauren Faust, the creator of the show," Max asked. Pinkie looked at him curiously, " Lauren Faust? I don't know her", she replied. About two hours later, John and Max began showing her around the internet and even let Pinkie see the creative process John uses to create the show he and Max have for MLP reviews. The show featured John and Max's OCs, Motion and Film Reel, sitting in two chairs with footage of the episode behind them on a screen and the style being reminiscent of Siskel and Ebert, with the two trading opinions on the episode and etc. Once the episode was finished, and Chris had gone home, Max and John continued to show Pinkie the brony fandom online, introducing her to pony music and other such things. " wow, who knew this fandom was so AWESOME and my fans are just the coolest bunch ever", Pinkie exclaimed, squealing. Max then leaned over and said, " boop", tapping Pinkie on the nose and she did the same, giggling.
Unusual day at schoolIt had been three days since Pinkie came to the human world and now, John was going to introduce her to life in school, since he figured leaving Pinkie by herself was a bad idea and all. After putting on his Applejack dog tag over his anime shirt, John said to Pinkie, " alright, Pinkie, looks like I'm taking you to school, can you fit in the bookbag"? " aw, okay," she replied, giggling as she entered the bag. " ooh, it is quite dark in here, but I might be able to get a teensy weensy space", she states. " well, better than nothing, I suppose," John replies, slipping the bag over his shoulder. Surprisingly enough, the bag didn't feel any heavier than it already did, probably had to do with Pinkie being able to bend reality to her will or something. Shrugging, John entered the bus and found Max and Chris was sitting in the same seat. " hey, guys, what's up," he asks, giving Max a fistbump and a hug to Chris. " oh, nothing much, bro, we were just talking about how much fun we had yesterday, is Pinkie still with you", Max asked. John leaned forward and replied in a whisper, " yea, she's still with me, I brought her along to keep her out of trouble". Chris nodded and he smiled, whispering back, " I'm sure you made the right call". John gave Chris a kiss on the cheek and replied, " hope so too". " well, well, well, lookee what we got here, three pony faggots, oh wait, two of you are faggots, haha," Fat-as-heck Greg rudely said. John gave him a hard look and replied, " Greg, why don't you go pick one someone your own size, or do you not have anything better to do"? " nope, this IS what I'm SUPPOSE to do; teach faggots a lesson," Greg replied, sneering. Pinkie heard the conversation and stuck her head out of the bag, looking around her till she saw Greg. " why is that big kid picking on my friends, it's not cool", Pinkie thought to herself, sinking back into the bag. " Listen Greg, you might not like me and John, but you don't have to bully us, you know", Chris explained, now getting worried. " yeah yeah, whatever, " greg replied, laughing and returning to his sleeping position. " I hate that guy," John said, shaking his head. " we all do, bro, we all do," Max replied, sighing. At the school, the three all went to their lockers, where John opened his bag and Pinkie sticks her head out. " wow, I didn't know you guys dealt with jerks like that, what was his problem, and why was he calling you guys that word, I thought you guys were people", Pinkie asked. Sighing, John replied, " Pinkie, do you have ponies in Equestria that, you know, like the same-sex"? "well, of course we do, John. I love gay ponies, they are so fun to be around, and we're pretty much all equal", Pinkie states. " Well Pinkie, you see, we don't necessarily have the same kind of equality as you do in Equestria. Gay people, like me and Chris, aren't always treated right and thankfully, people like Greg aren't very common around here anymore", John replies in a sad tone. " looks like somepony needs the magic of friendship," Pinkie declares, rubbing her hooves in a crafty way. "what are you going to do," Chris inquires nervously. " oh, you'll see, you'll see," the pink pony replies, chuckling. Later that day, after school, Greg comes back again, this time with his posse of overweight jerks. However, Pinkie saw them come ahead of time and made ready her plan. As Greg approached John, John began to get nervous, unsure of what was to happen. Then, something amazing happened: Pinkie Pie popped out of the bag, blew confetti and a party popper in Greg's face, then she jumped out of the bag and landed on Greg's stomach. " hey there, I'm Pinkie Pie, and I noticed somepony needed the magic of friendship", Pinkie states. Horrified, the rest of Greg's posse ran down the street. " hey, get back here you cowards", Greg shouted. Pinkie got up close to him and said, " now, I see somepony's been messing with my friends, and I don't appreciate that very much". "w-what are you going to do to me, you crazy pink pony", Greg asked, trying to sound tough. " oh, not much, just show you the magic of friendship," she replied, taking a radio out from only-Celestia-knows-where- and began playing the song, " Smile Smile Smile". The trio laughed and Greg began yelling, boy, oh boy, was revenge sweet.
Rest of the Mane Six arriveUnbeknownst to John, during the middle of the night, Pinkie Pie returned to Equestria. As Spike was sleeping on the couch, Pinkie suddenly appeared with a loud, " poom-oof" sound. " poom-oof", very funny, writer", Pinkie said aloud, giggling. Spike suddenly got up, awoken by the loud noise. " wait , what was that, is there a intruder", Spike asked frantically. Giggling, Pinkie replied, " oh silly Spike, it's just me". " Oh, hi, Pinkie Pie, what's up? Found anything interesting", Spike asked. " Spike, who is in there," Twilight asked. She looked like she suddenly got up, with her mane in a mess and her eyes were baggy. " Pinkie Pie, how did you get here", Twilight asked, shocked when she saw the pink pony standing there. " oh, it was nothing, a little magic here, a little there, boy, was it fun", Pinkie replied, giggling. Twilight sighed and said, " well, I suppose you came here because you found something". Pinkie nodded excitedly. " oh, yes, I did. I think you should get the others," replied Pinkie. Twilight raised an eyebrow. " well, this must be very interesting. Well, let me make some tea and you can tell me over breakfast", Twilight explained, yawning. If there was one good thing about the new castle, was that the kitchen was far better stocked than the one at the old library, especially thanks to being a princess. Half an hour later, Twilight, Pinkie, and Spike were all sitting at a table, drinking tea and eating little biscuits. " So, Pinkie, can you please explain to me wha"- before Twilight could finish, she noticed that her cutie mark was glowing. " the map", Twilight gasped, galloping over to the cutie mark map room. Upon arrival, Twilight realized that now there were six cutie marks hovering over the city, each one sparkling like jewels. It didn't take long before the others arrived. " what in tarnation is going on here," yelled Applejack, who looked liked she was getting ready for work. " yes, I must say, what is going on here? I didn't even have time to brush my mane", Rarity questioned, obviously annoyed. " girls, I'm glad you're here, looks like things got a bit more complicated," explained Twilight. After seating in their respective thrones, Twilight asks, " alright, Pinkie, please explain what you found". Pinkie nods and she explains what she saw, everything from the city of London, to the three bronies who might need them. Rainbow raises a eyebrow and says, " eh, I dunno about this whole, " brony" thing, it seems kinda creepy if you ask me". Fluttershy gave Rainbow a hard look. " Rainbow, even if it is strange, that's no reason to judge. They're probably just like us", Fluttershy says defensively. "well, in any case, I say we go there. If this " London" is anything like Pinkie described, then I suppose it'd be well worth the trip," Rarity said. " ah shoot, I reckon it can't be so bad. We should be willing to help somepony out", Applejack agreed. Twilight nods and asks Spike to get a notepad so that he could take notes. " we should present our findings to Princess Celestia once this is over", Twilight explains. Once all of them are in the living room together, and Spike sitting on her saddle, Twilight conjures up the spell, sending them all to London.
Ponies and humansAs John slowly woke up, he saw a strange green object sitting on his dresser. Unable to make it out, John grabbed his glasses and when he put them on, he saw a baby alligator just sitting there, staring at him. " oh, hiya, I guess you finally found Gummy", Pinkie says, bouncing into John's room. " uh, Pinkie, why is your pet gator staring at me," John asked, perplexed. " oh, he just likes you, that's all," Pinkie replied. Despite the gator's appearance, a lot was happening in his mind. In fact, if one was to look inside it's mind, that person would hear the following monologue: " what is the difference between humans and ponies? Both are creatures of extraordinary potential and they both are in search for their special talents. Oh sure, the humans may not have the cutie mark, but they have a endless search for their purpose in life". This monologue, unbeknownst to either John or Pinkie, was followed by Gummy licking his eyeball. "Pinkie, where did ya- oh, there you are", Applejack said, stopping at the doorway. John gasped and had a hard time believing what he saw. Applejack, one of his favorite ponies, was standing in his doorway. "oh, hiya Applejack, this is John, one of the humans I was telling you about", Pinkie replied, pointing her hoof to John. Tipping her hat to him, Applejack stated, " well, howdy pardner. Ah hear you're a fan of ours". " y-yeah, I am, are the others here", John asked, still in disbelief. " yeah, they sure are," Applejack replied, heading back downstairs. Pinkie grabbed Gummy and bounced back down stairs, with John close behind her. When he got downstairs, John was surprised to see the rest of the Mane Six in his apartment. Twilight was examining some of the machines in the house, with Spike taking dictated notes. Rarity was in the laundry room, while Fluttershy was talking with John's cat, and Rainbow was mostly in the corner, looking around. Shocked, John quickly grabbed his phone and dialed Max and Chris, asking them to come over to his apartment quickly. Half an hour later, Max and Chris arrived, and they too were surprised to see the Mane Six at the apartment. "wow, I didn't know Pinkie was going to bring all her friends here", Max said excitedly. Twilight smiled and approached them, with Spike by her side. " well, hello there, I am Princess Twilight Sparkle, I suppose you already know that, and can I properly guess that you three are the humans Pinkie talked about," Twilight asked. Chris nodded and replied, " that's right". The rest of the Mane Six arrive and introductions are made. " so, this is London, it looks a bit like Canterlot", Rarity commented. " yup, it sure is, maybe I'll show you around sometime", John replied. He noticed that Applejack's expression turned from her usual expression to one of sadness and Rainbow Dash seemed distant. " I wonder why", John thought to himself......
Getting acquainted with LondonOver the course of the next several days, John, Chris, and Max would show the Mane Six the ropes of human life. Out of all them, Twilight and Rarity became the most comfortable the fastest, with Twilight being utterly fascinated by the world around her, and Rarity was impressed by how " Canterlotish" London was and even the whole island of Britain. One day, Max came to the apartment with his bookbag full of books and set it on the table. " OOH, What did you bring, " Pinkie asked, racing quickly to the table. Laughing, Max replied, " it's mostly for Twilight, though I did get you some snacks". He pulled out a package containing little Kit-Kat bars. Pinkie's eyes widen and she replied, " ooh, chocolate, thanks"! She took them and bounced away, giggling. " good morning, Max, what you brought me today", Twilight asked, smiling. Max pulled out a series of seven books. " These are the Harry Potter books and I think you'll like them", Max replies. Twilight got a gleam in her eye as she said, " ooh, these look fascinating. You humans always have interesting stuff". While Max was showing her the Harry Potter books, Rarity was examining John's clothes. " my, I must say, Darling, this fashion seems a bit too casual for a person like you," Rarity commented, a little hesitant on the word," person". John shook his head and replied, " no, Rarity, it's okay, really it is, you don't have to do this". Rarity looked at him and replied, " well, I insist and I won't even charge you for it. After all, you are fabulous on the inside, why not make it look like it too". John sighed and he knew, in a sense, she was right. "alright, Rarity, go ahead," John finally consented. " fabulous, I'll get started right away", Rarity said, levitating the clothes and she headed downstairs. Applejack was staring out the window, light rain was falling on the city streets and the sky was grey and cloudy. " hey, Applejack, what's up," Rainbow asked, sitting next to her. " Ah don't know, Rainbow, Ah thought coming here would be a fun experience and all, but to me, this is too fancy like for my taste", Applejack replied, sadness in her tone. Rainbow sighed and responded, " yeah, I know how you feel, AJ. I'm not sure I'm used to this whole " brony" thing yet. I mean, yeah, sure, it's cool that there are fans of me, but why "bronies" ? Applejack looked back out the window. " Ah don't know, Rainbow, Ah don't know", she replied.
A touching moment with ApplejackIt was a Saturday morning, and John, who turned 17 last week, was now in possession of a older model car. Hanging the keys up, he noticed Applejack sitting at the window, just staring outside. Approaching her, he asked, " what's wrong, Applejack". Flinching a little, she turned to John and sighed. " howdy, John,", she replied. " are you okay, you're not yourself," John asked, concerned. Sighing, Applejack turned to him and replied, " Ah just don't feel at home here. Its not you or anything, Sugarcube, but life here reminds me too much of Canterlot and Ah'm just a simple country pony". " Well, Applejack, not everyone here in England lived like this, how about you and I go on a little trip and I show you a side of England that you don't see here", John asked. Applejack nodded, saying that would be nice, and the two got into John's car and they headed off. After a few hours of driving, John pulled up to his old town in Yorkshire. Upon seeing it for herself, Applejack was hit by a sense of wonder and nostalgia. Seeing a small town like this excited her and for the first time in a while, a genuine smile could be seen on her face. Even better was when she saw a lot of the farms past the town, all the while John was explaining how he was raised in the English countryside and as a farmer's kid. After showing her around, the two stopped at a local diner, with John bringing some food out for AJ. As they were eating, Applejack turns to John and says, " John, thank you so much for showing me this, Ah'm glad that there is something I can relate to here". She then proceeds to hug him tightly and John returns it. " your welcome, AJ", he replied, grinning.
Searching for the right ice cream flavorBack in London.... It was a somewhat warm afternoon in London, and Max and Pinkie Pie decided to go get some ice cream. As they were heading towards the ice cream parlor, Max was explaining to Pinkie about how he felt bad for Rainbow Dash since she was so distant. " oh, you have to forgive her, Max, Rainbow just isn't used to the whole brony thing yet. Well, I mean I have, then again, I'm okay with just about everything," Pinkie rambled. Smiling, Max replied, " yeah, I guess so, Pinkie, I just wish Rainbow will open up to us". " don't worry, Max, she'll learn to accept you. Now come on, let's turn that frown upside down and stop talking about sad things", Pinkie replied, grinning ear to ear. Upon reaching the ice cream parlor, the two rushed in, desperate for ice cream. Max took a deep sigh of relief when he entered the air-conditioned parlor. The parlor was full of ice cream related memorabilia, with little booths and tables set up in most of the space. The clerk at the counter was a young woman with brown hair pulled back into a little bun. She raised a eyebrow upon seeing Max and Pinkie. "what's with that pink pony, eh, ain't you a little old," she asked in a thick Scottish accent. Ignoring the question and smiling, Max and Pinkie began looking through the selection of ice cream. There were all sorts of flavors, ranging from your usual vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, etc, to more exotic flavors like raspberry and coffee flavored ice cream. " oh my, there are so many flavors to choose from, how can I possibly make a decision", Pinkie gasped, whimpering a little. After studying it a few more minutes, Pinkie began pointing to individual flavors and saying, " I want that flavor, that flavor, and that flavor". In the end, Max got himself a cookies and cream flavored ice cream while Pinkie got herself a raspberry, blueberry, and vanilla flavored ice cream. " hmm, this is delicious", Pinkie said after a few minutes of eating. Max smiled and replied, " I know right, ice cream is delicious, no matter where it comes from". Pinkie agreed and finishing eating quickly, licking her lips afterwards. Max chuckled and this and he said, " come on, Pinkie, let's go home". Pinkie grinned and replied, " all right, let's go, WOO HOO!" She then hopped on Max's shoulders and he piggybacked her all the way back to the apartment, with several people giving them strange one looks. Back at the parlor, the clerk stood at shock at what she saw, then she chalked it up to probably some sort of prank.
Rainbow becomes friends with MaxIt was a Friday night, and Max and Chris were over at John's apartment for the sleepover. Rainbow Dash was the only one up at that hour and she was laying down on the carpet, a lot on her mind. She looked up at the couch and realized that Max was shivering, probably from being cold. Overwhelmed, Rainbow grabbed the nearest blanket and placed it over Max. She then hovered down to the couch with him and curled up on the far end of the couch, smiling. " good night, Max", she whispered before yawning and falling asleep. The next morning, Max awoke to find Rainbow Dash curled up at the end of the sofa, sleeping peacefully. He then noticed the blanket draped over him and wondered, " did Rainbow put that there"? Rainbow awoke and let out a big yawn, smacking as she did so. " Good morning, Rainbow", Max said cheerfully. "Good morning", Rainbow replied, still trying to fully awake. As the day went on, Max and Rainbow talked a bit more and she began to open up to him more, even admitting it was her that put the blanket over him. Deciding to repay the favor, Max figured he would build her a bed similar to the one she had back in Equestria. After buying the materials, Max spent the next week building the Cloudsdale style bed. That Friday, Max took the bed over to John's apartment, asking him to put the bed in his room. Thankfully, it wasn't that big, so it was easy to put in. Later that day, Max brought Rainbow into the room, covering her eyes as he did so. " Oh come on, let me see", Rainbow said, slightly irritated. " just a little further, and now," Max said, uncovering his hands from her eyes. Rainbow gasped when she saw the bed. " Max, I can't believe- oh, thank you, thank you", Rainbow said, hugging Max tightly. From there, Rainbow really opened up to Max, and he began showing her some of the sports people in England play, though Rainbow was most excited about football. The two played a lot of football over the course of the next few days.
The FightTwo days later..... Rainbow and Max have returned to the apartment after a football match and the two sat on the couch, reading their favorite books. Max had got Rainbow all the current Daring Do books that were written in this world, which was pretty cool by Rainbow's standards. As the two were reading, Pinkie Pie came in, and her mood went from her usual happy nature to kind of sad and mad. " so, Rainbow, I see you and Max have been getting along," Pinkie said, glaring at Rainbow. " yeah, sure have Pinkie, something seem to be the problem," Rainbow asked matter-of-factly. " I thought you didn't like Max, Rainbow, I thought you weren't a fan of bronies", Pinkie replied, her voice rising. " well, yeah, not at first, but now Max and I are pretty cool. What's up with you, Pinkie Pie," Rainbow asked, turning her head around to look at her friend. " I WAS HIS FRIEND FIRST, RAINBOW,AND I'M NOT LOSING A FRIEND", Pinkie yelled at her. " whoa, Pinkie, calm down, nopony is stealing your friend," Rainbow said, trying to reassure her . For a while, the two went back and forth, until finally Max set both of them down and he began showing Pinkie that they were still friends. " in fact, I made this for you," Max explained, holding a gift for Pinkie. Taking it, she unwrapped the gift and gasped when she saw what was inside: it was a framed photo of their time together at the ice cream parlor. "just a little something to remember me by, Pinkie," Max said, smiling. With tears in her eyes, Pinkie hugged Max tightly and she replied, " oh, thanks, Max, you're the best. I'm so sorry for doubting our friendship". She then turned to Rainbow and apologized to her as well. That night, Pinkie, Max, and Rainbow all slept in the same room, with Rainbow sleeping on her cloud bed and Pinkie sleeping on the foot of Max's bed.
Taking the ponies to BronyconOne week later.. " are you sure this is completely necessary", Rainbow asked as she was being fitted into the costume. " yes, Rainbow, this is necessary, we don't need other bronies knowing about you", Max replied, smiling. " Besides, Twilight's spell will make sure they look like humans in the costumes," John explained, fixing his glasses as he said so. " oh, don't worry, Rainbow Dash, this is going to be fun", Pinkie said excitedly. " well, shoot, Ah reckon these suits are a little tight, but they'll do," commented Applejack. Two hours later, all ten of them entered the train station headed towards Manchester, the site of the UK bronycon. It took about an hour to get there and 10 minutes after they got off the train, they reached the convention center. " tickets please", the lady sitting in the main hallway asked. After producing 10 tickets and heading it to her, the lady said, " alright, enjoy your time at bronycon". For John, Chris, and Max, the convention was like any other, but for the mane six, it was amazing. " wow, I didn't know there was so many fans of mine," Twilight said in amazement. " yeah, it truly is amazing. The fandom is only a few years old and it is already one of the biggest groups out there," Chris explained, who was holding John's hand the whole time. At one point, the group attended a show where the DJ was playing famous songs from the brony community. " THIS IS AWESOME", Rainbow shouted, laughing. They spent the whole day there and afterwards, they got ice cream and sort of just chilled out. " wow, brony culture is so awesome", Rainbow said excitedly. " yeah, totally", John replied. " well, girls, I say this was a well-spent trip," said Twilight, a smile on her face. " YEAH", shouts the rest of the mane six.
