As the fires of nuclear apocalypse rained from the sky, the huge steel door of STABLE 72 slide closed. No-pony within the STABLE knew how long they would be hiding below the surface, or if their metal encased shell was a home…or a tomb. The Pegasus, Scarlet Shift, was one of these such ponies. He lived happily with his mother and father. He was a brilliant mechanic and he was due to take his C.A.T test very soon. Even with all of these advantages, he still dreamt of the outside. He believed that there was more to life than the steel wall that had surrounded him for his entire life. Aside from this though, he had all that he needed in life … but one day everything changed!
