//-------------------------------------------------------// Misplacement -by Day Shine- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: Party Night //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: Party Night Chapter 1: Party Night Its party girl pinkies favorite day of the week aside of her six other favorite days of the week and on this day specifically she was doing favorite thing number one, hosting a party for her and her best friends. She did this about once every month or month and a half, attendance to these parties was deemed mandatory and any who failed to attend would be party-napped. Her friends took it as a joke up until about 2 years ago when rainbow blew off the party to go to bed early for her shift at work and a concert the next day, pinkie used her spare key to wales into her house at about eight and woke rainbow up with the sound of a handcuffs clicking and a friendly greeting. After a few words were exchanged she forcibly haled rainbow out and into her car in nothing but her bra and thong panties which read awesome in all caps. After that nobody missed a pinkie party, even if it had to come to them. There is rarity whom become a small time designer mostly making prom gowns and wedding dresses, she quit caring about the big splash of the fashion world after she helped a girl and her mother’s dreams come true when nobody else could, she settled for small town charm and even refers to the fashion world these days as an ill-logical rat race of flash in the pan art. There’s rainbow dash who works at a mechanic/moto equipment store while also teaching kids to moto dirt bikes at a local track. She to this day arrives thirty minutes early to all of pinkies parties. She decided not to press charges that night given just how embarrassing it was to admit that she was overpowered by pinkie and she’d actually had fun being party-napped. Fluttershy was working at a department store making minimum wage, her boyfriend who wasn’t attending the party due to work himself helped when he could with bills and openly encouraged her to either ask for a much deserved raise after her years working their or to quit and get a job somewhere more respecting of her work ethic, she suggest she’s making enough and would only cause problems in asking or quitting. Half asleep on her feet sunset stood there as to fight off falling asleep sipping punch with a shot of whisky mixed in, she worked two jobs and spent much of her little time sitting around the house or trying to find a relatable person to share her free time outside of her friends. Given the demanding nature of her jobs she actually has little time to search for that certain someone, especially since she didn’t trust dating sites. Applejack spends her time at home working on her families orchard while living in a small one person apartment a couple of miles away in the same building as her friend night shade who helped her to get her place set up, he sat with her as everyone laughed and chatted. The party rule applied to him as he been friends with everyone since high school. Everyone was here and everyone was feeling a bit chipper from the comfort of good friends as well as the special punch pinkie was serving up. Fluttershy sat in a chair beside the coffee table across from rainbow; she was in the floor in front of applejack and night shade on the couch. She picked up a cup off the coffee table covered in drinking glasses, party confetti, food, and drink stains Pinkie walks around with pitchers of punch and alcohol as the others mingle. She played the part of the pitcher fairy going around filling up and topping off drinks as she didn’t trust anyone else with the job after a situation involving sunset and applejacks homemade apple sider. Rarity stands by the island counter sitting between the kitchen and living room talking with sunset. “So sunset, how’s your search for that someone new?” she asked causally “On hiatus” she said swallowing a gulp of alcohol punch mix “I’m too busy with work right now” she sighs as she takes another sip. “I know what you mean; I’m backed up with orders giving me little to no time for relationships.” Applejack stood by the couch leaning on it talking to night shade and rainbow lying on her side in the floor beside the coffee table. Pinkie popped up behind them with the pitchers as rainbow lifted her glass. “Hey pinks, give me some of that delicious punch.” She hiccupped. Pinkie hugged the pitchers looking at her friends fevered face “uhhh, you’ve had enough.” Applejack shot bluntly Rainbow shoots up hiccupping “say-HUPs you-HUP” “Did she drive?” night asked concerning “Hold on” the country girl replied handing him her cup “hey RD, do ya’ work by any chance tomorra’?” “Nope!” the half-drunk woman answered. “Figures, I should have known something was up when she showed up in a cab.” She scowled “you came with the intention of getting drunk off your ass didn’t ya’?” “Drunk off my ass?” she repeats looking around “why did I lose it?” she turned back to aj and night shade on the couch “hey if you find it don’t HUP go falling in love with it or anything oka-HUPy.” “Okay, who takes care of dash tonight?” pinkie asked of the room of people “I can’t, I gotta clean up after the party.” “NOT IT!” rainbow and sunset yelled raising their hands almost in unison “Sorry darling, can’t tonight” rarity exclaimed raising her index finger Applejack huffs harshly “Aw shucks, I’ll do it.” Night shade shot his head to applejack “wait, what about the movie you wanted to see.” Applejack shrugged “Eh, it’ll be there tomorrow. Besides, gettin’ her home safe is a little more important.” The party continues on all the way into the late hours, chatting, drinking, dancing, and cake are all participated in as the ladies and gentleman share stories, jokes, and a good laugh as an increasingly drunken rainbow dash challenges pinkie to a boob size contest. She isn’t an easy times kind of person, but she always let herself cut lose a bit around her friends. Rarity before any decisions on the game could be made clarified a rule stating bras were to stay on at all times given that she’d drawn game master in the party draw and wanted the party to remain as respectable as possible. “Really rainbow, were not in college. Show some adult dignity and restraint.” Rarity scoffs Rainbow teases the removing of her shirt, holding it up with her thumbs “oh –HUP come on rarity, you know I only act like thi-HUPs when I’m HUP sauced.” She says trying to keep her balance “besides, this game wouldn’t exist wi-HUPth out you. Remember?” she said with a slurry drunk smile. “Yes I remember” she replies with a regretful tone “however, it was only after a combination of heartbreak, physical disillusionment, and alcohol that I made such an undignified challenge.” Night shade looked befuddled to the history of such a game and rarity’s involvement as they went to an all-girls college prompting him to ask what had happened. Pinkie answered giggling through the story “rarity had a boyfriend in college who dumped her for a girl with a stacked rack” she stated while moving her hands back and forth from her chest. “After we all finally found out I threw her a cheer-up party where she got super drunk and made everyone participate in the first BSC.” Rarity turned up her noise “well I was only acting such a way because the wound was so fresh, seriously he dumped me for a stereotypical dumb girl with a chest full of petroleum jelly or whatever they put in those bags of self-esteem reduction.” She looks to sunset that stops laughing and tries to pretend she hadn’t been. “Umm, I think that may be enough alcohol for tonight” fluttershy suggested just loud enough for those closes to her to hear. Pinkie sits the pitcher in the sink and turns to fluttershy not noticing rainbow rummaging in the fridge “yea, I’d say that’s a good call.” She clears her throat “Okay, I’m officially calling cut off punch is still up for grabs but the alcohol is dunzo.” Pinkie hears something hit the counter and turns to see rainbow dipping her cup into the alcohol filled pitcher, she whips around grabbing the sink sprayer firing it at rainbow dash “No! Bad rainbow, you’ve definitely had enough.” Rainbow flairs around as pinkie continue to spray her momentarily. Fluttershy walks into the kitchen with a hand towel and helps rainbow off the floor. “Okay, that’s enough for tonight, besides its past 11:30. It might be time for us to go home and get some sleep.” she said helping rainbow dry off. The others all look at fluttershy and then each other before muttering agreements to her statement. As the others all gathered their things applejack walks a stumbling rainbow to her truck. Fluttershy stopped at the door giving pinkie a hug. “aright, thanks for hosting another great party pinkie. Are you sure you don’t need any more help with clean-up?” “Nah!” she says waving a hand dismiss-ably “besides, sunsets the one who drew party clean up assistant. You help enough socking up the water in the kitchen get going. Drive safe.” Fluttershy walked quietly to her car as a harsh gust of wind blew by causing her give a light shriek from the suddenness and strength as it blew her forward a bit. The gust caught rarity’s jacket almost sending her to the ground and applejack and rainbow against fluttershys old beat up 99’impala. “Well that was a strong gu-” rarity is suddenly interrupted by the violent sounds rainbow dash vomiting all over fluttershys passenger door and her cloths as well. “Really rainbow, you could have aimed for the ground?” rarity scolded “Ugh, sorry shy.” Rainbow said slurred and pathetic covered in alcohol and cake bit vomit looking up at her with a face between crying and falling asleep. Fluttershy smiled in her usual timid fashion “oh, it’s okay. Most of it will fly off on the drive home. I’ll just wash off the rest in the morning” Applejack gives fluttershy a couple bottles of water from her truck which she uses to rinse the chunky, smelly vomit off her car. Applejack put rainbow dash into her truck getting into the passenger seat so Night shade could drive as she’s had just less than one to many drinks. Rarity opened her car door and closed it as she seated herself. Fluttershy watched the two vehicles drive off. She walks around her car and gets into the driver seat pulling her seatbelt around before starting it up and taking off herself. Fluttershy makes her way down town as the time ticks by and a soothing melody plays on the radio. She splashes through a puddle near a bakery as she comes to a stop light just as it turns red, the car jerking as she comes to a stop. She looks over to the radio and slowly turns up the volume as a song ends and the host speaks up. “Hello my midnight owls and possible vampires” the host could be heard laughing at his own joke “this is your favorite midnight host on your favorite midnight channel. We’ll get back to the music shortly but first the weather, we have reports of possible rainfall sometime between 2 a.m. and six so sure to be indoors before then. Also as words of caution, all travelers of route I-612 are to be careful, the guard rail has been recently been removed as so that I can be replaced. Slow travel and or avoidance is advised, if you must travel up the curved road in the meantime, speeds beyond 20 mph are ill-advised.” Fluttershy listened close as she was supposed to drive along that route to get home; she knew that she could go different direction, but it was very late and didn’t want be late or tired for work in the morning and a different way home would add an extra hour or so to her drive when she was already tired. The light turned green catching her eye as it moved and she pressed down on the accelerator. As she traveled down the streets of the quiet night engulfed town a somber song played causing her to spin the volume dial quickly muting the song so as she wouldn’t be lulled to further sleepiness. She always disliked being in a quiet car, she often falls asleep as a passenger though merely finding it tedious and boring when driving. The buildings strolled by at a moderate pace as she passes them one by one. With no traffic she takes a look off the road to the nearby shops admiring their glow in the light of the street lights. As they come and go she remained about a time when she’d first started dating Hayberg, they dated on and off due to school, college and one summer when hayberg decided to study abrade, but he always made some kind of effort to show her a good time when they were able to get together. Now work, little life distractions, and the need to co-op against fluttershys bills make their time together somewhat rare though still they stay strong. Fluttershy turns onto a road lined with houses looking over them all as she hopelessly dreams of one day trading her renters contract for a mortgage and a house with all the freedom and privacy that comes with it. Her housing situation wasn’t great and the property renter wasn’t a pleasant person to deal with. One day in particular stands out as it was one of the few times hayberg visited her house, during this visit there had been an incident which resulted in a large hole being left in the wall. “Look at this, it looks like somebodies head went through it!” she remembers him yelling “what the hell happened?” he’d asked angrily “Nothing, it was just an accident. Right fluttershy.” Hayberg asked looking at her from the corner of his eye. “r-right.” She’d stated, her head down and speaking impishly The landlord looked between them “I don’t want know” he had uttered before pointing a finger to fluttershy “this” he said pointing to the hole “you’re payin’ for it. Got that!” “Yes, sir” she’d agreed without protest. “Good” he barked before slamming the door, hayberg placing a hand on fluttershys shoulder as the man could be heard walking down the stairs outside. She put the past in its place as she reached the turn onto I-612; she took the turn and was on route to her house along the curvy darkened road. She turns on her high beams eliminating the road as she slows down to make a turn she would have otherwise missed. The headlights glow on the road and reach down the rail absent edge, the light glides along the tree tops as the rest lay dark. The gloomy dark void of the long ditch and trees creep menacingly at the edge as fluttershy turns full attention to the curved road ahead of her, however her tired state starts to take hold. “Fifteen…morreee………minutes” she assures herself fighting the strength of her sleep ready eyes. She jolts to an alert state as her tire creeps over the roads edge jerking the wheel brining her back onto the road. She breathes a sigh relief as she places a hand on her chest feeling her panicked heartbeat. She looks down the steep hill and comes to a sense of peace as she realizes she was safe when something catches her eye. The lights of a large truck whip around the corner as the horn blows, fluttershy panics’ again not sure who’s on the wrong side as she jerks the wheel with all her strength to the left. As her car passes the truck clips her tail sending the car toward the right and sailing over the edge bouncing into the brush below. As the car speeds down the hill fluttershy desperately attempts to regain control, failing as the car smacks against trees and her right rear view mirror is sent flying as it’s ripped off her car door. Suddenly a tree comes into view and fluttershy slams on the breaks while turning sharply to dodge the oncoming tree. Time slows down as the car turns sideways hitting something, sending its tires of traction to the ground and the car flips until it smacks into the tree. Fluttershy lifts her head from its resting place on the steering wheel looks at the cracked driver side window into the pitch black of the night. She could only be thankful for one thing in this moment and that was that she’d survived which may have not been the case without her seat belt. Thank you, Nils Bohlin and George Cayley. Miraculously she isn’t hurt too badly. The most sever injurie seems to be a small gash on her cheek and what may be concussion. Smaller cuts and bruise were scattered across her arms, legs, neck and chest where her shirt had torn from the cars flipping. She looks over at the passenger side only to see a jagged bent in door, as well as the trees truck in place of the window. Her rear view mirror was gone and the wind shield looked like a jigsaw puzzle. She glances back at the passenger side seat seeing her phone. She reaches for it so as to call for help, she jerks her arm back down due to a Sharpe intense pain in her shoulder, lifting her other arm she places it gently on her pained shoulder feeling a shard of glass logged in it. With ragged breathes fluttershy bit her lower lip as she removed the piece of glass from her shoulder, and lightly flicked out another that had found its self a resting place in her ear. She reaches for her phone only to cut her finger as she pulls out half of the use to be phone. She sits there wondering how long she’ll be there when she starts to feel the familiar drop of her eyelids. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: questions without answers //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: questions without answers Chapter 2: Questions without answers Beep, beep, beep, beep goes the alarm letting those who hear it know it’s time for the day to begin and that they need to wake up for it. In the living room rainbow dash stirs under her blanket trying her best to ignore the alarm as well as her hangover from her night of cut loose carelessness. Applejack comes yawning from down the hall into the living room and turns into the kitchen. “uhh, sugar cube?” she asks as she stops in the kitchen doorway “are ya’ gettin’ up.” Rainbow rolls over on her side, facing the couch trying to ignore her friend. Applejack walks over to her giving her a light shake making rainbow slap her arm away with a low moan of protest. “Stop it, I’ve got jackhammer going full power in my brain. Just let me suffer in my sleep.” Applejack lead back over her and thumped her on the head “wake up, you’re not spending all day passed out.” With a loud groan Rainbow sits up as the blanket falls revealing her to be in nothing except her underwear. She looks down for a second then over to her friend, she looks up at her stand by the couch in a tee shirt and underwear looking down at her in return. Rainbow looks down sheepishly a moment knowing what applejack wants “Than-thank you for taking care of my drunken ass last night.” “It was nothing.” applejack said waving a hand “ ‘sides I wasn’t about to just let you take care yourself with how useless ya’ were.” Applejack walked back toward the kitchen as rainbow sat up and turned around on the couch. “Hey, where are my clothes?” she asked having little recognition of last night. “Still in the dryer!” applejack called from the kitchen. Rainbow wipes her hands down her face trying to ignore the jackhammer like hangover with no success; applejack comes back to the living room holding a bottle of water and a small pill. Rainbow tosses the medication in her mouth and downs the bottle water in its entirety. Leaning her head back she closes her eyes as a loud banging start up. She slides back down on the couch letting out a pained whimper much to applejacks annoyance. “Oh stop it, that’s just the door.” She says once again walking to the kitchen “it’s open!” she yells to the door and receiving another groan from her friend on the couch as she sat back up. The door opens as an onyx skinned person with grey hair stepped into the room. “Hey A.J. how’s your morning?” night shade asked with a yawn as he plopped down on the couch. “Hey.” Rainbow greets without looking over more concerned with her headache. “Hey.” The grey haired friend parrots back. “How’s the hangover.” “Don’t remember enough to know if it was worth It.” she answers He chuckles for a moment reaching for the remote “do you at least remember puking all over fluttershys car and yourself?” Rainbows head shot up, quickly returning to her hands “I did what? Aww! I can’t believe I did that.” Applejack walks by grabbing the remote and sitting down in the chair next to the couch. Night Shade and Rainbow Dash watch as she flips through the channels stopping on the news momentarily. On the screen a woman with hazel skin wearing a bright blue work suite was reporting on a vehicle crash. “Anyway at around 5 a.m. this morning police received a call about a truck that had crashed into a nearby tree after it had veered off the road and down the hill.” The reporter told as the camara pan down to a large 4x4 truck. Rainbow squinted and looked at the time in the corner of the screen “OH CRAP! I’m gonna be late.” She scrambles to the hall for her clothes Applejack gave a puzzled look “you said you don’t work today.” “Yea, well I’m supposed to help out at dirt track for tomorrow’s event. Also, I planned on doing some practice run with a few of the bikes were using tomorrow.” said as she comes speed walking out of the hallway buttoning her pants. “Do ya’ at least want take a shower first?” Applejack asked. Rainbow finishes putting on her shirt and gives herself a quick sniff shrugging it off as she makes for the door. “Hey, Night Shade you think you can drive me to my place so I can get my stuff?” Without a word he gets up with a gesture to say let’s go. The two make their exit as applejack watches from her chair, she sighs with a touch of relief to finally be alone. She slumps down in her chair. Applejack relaxed long enough for her to actually start feeling relief from her hangover, when she gets an alert on her computer. She pulls it closer, bringing up the screen she answers the call alert. A webcam pops up with apple bloom on the other end. She smiles waving as applejack waves back. “Hey there apple bloom. How’s college going.” Applejack greeted with a cheer. “Hey sis, it’s going just fine.” She answers. She leans in her ear a moment “is that the news I hear?” “Yea.” Applejack replied uncaringly. Apple blooms face went soft with a sad expression “It’s a shame about that sandwich guy huh?” Applejack perked up “what? What are you talking about?” Apple bloom typed away at her keyboard, a few seconds later a link popped up on applejacks computer. Intrigue took over as she opened the link to an article about the I-612 crash; next to the lines of words was a picture of a dark yellow skinned man with thick, long, curly brown hair. The name under the picture read C. Sandwich. The victim was pronounced dead at 8:06a.m. She read. She continued to scan the article while trading light conversation with her sister. As the Apple sisters caught up with each other Rarity was making her way to the super-mart where Sunset worked. She walks in grabbing a shopping basket, draping it over her arm she walked toward the 5th aisle looking for some of her favorite fast lunch item. She reached the section where she would find her usually placed mini meal bars was now occupied by the worst thing in existence, barbeque biscuit mix. Rarity began to have an internal fit over the insult that was barbeque biscuits being in this spot, she found it even more appalling when she saw that the mini meal bar price sticker was still in place. As Rarity calmed down a creaking sound came from around the corner, she looks up to see Sunset pushing a cart loaded with crates ready to be put on the shelf. Rarity clears her throat gaining sunsets attention “umm, sunset darling, it seems someone has put the wrong thing on the shelf here.” Sunset walks over and checks the tag, finding rarity to be correct in her accusation. She returns to the crates pulling the top two from the third row off and setting them in the floor “Sunset to customer service, Sunset.” The intercom rang out Sunset sighed walking toward the front of the store with a tires slug across the aisle. Rarity watched for a moment as she disappeared around the corner before sliding over to the crates, she scans them real quick fining the meal bars in the crate sunset was about to put on the shelf and quickly peaks to her sides. She hastily grabs six or seven boxes and puts them into the basket before walking to the checkout. As she walked by the canned goods she couldn’t help noticing one specific can was facing the wrong way, her eye for detail was a gift, but came with a small O.C.D problem. She knew that it was an employee’s job to handle these things, but couldn’t overlook it. She gently places her thumb and index finger on the can spinning it until the label faced outward, with that taken care of she rounded the corner and proceeded to check-out. When she came to her turn in check-out she watched as the cashier slid the boxes into the bagging area sunset scoped them up bagging them quickly. “Your total is $15.54 ma’am.” The cashier remarked Rarity paid the man as Sunset readied her bag; rarity puts her change away in her purse and walked with sunset out the door. As they walked she struck up conversation “how are you holding up darling? Did it take long to clean up after party last night? Oh, I certainly hope not” “Tired as always. Cleaning up was a rather quick and easy task given how pinkie cleans. If I can get one day off from both my jobs all’s I’m doing is sleeping.” She pauses a moment “Hey, I heard about fluttershys car.” Rarity interrupts “actually, if I may? Did fluttershy by any chance talk to you this morning?” “No.” sunset said plainly Rarity opens passenger door of her car taking the bag “she was supposed to come by today, but she never showed up.” She said as sunset placed the bag in the passenger seat “she won’t even answer her phone.” “Is she busy? Or maybe she’s out with her boyfriend?” sunset suggested Rarity sneered “I really don’t know, this isn’t like her to just not at least call to let you know she isn’t coming. And don’t get me started on that ‘boyfriend’ of hers, something is seriously off about him.” Sunset looks back at the store “sorry rarity, I got get back.” She says walking back to the store As rarity drives off from the super mart not able to shake a sneaking suspicion. Two days later Applejack is back to lounging in her home half asleep when she gets a call on her phone. She answers to the voice of an all to chipper pinkie who asks if she’d enjoyed the party the other day. “Yea, it was fun. Thanks for hosting another great get together.” She answered. As the call went on the two laughed and joked at the other night, one specifically about a certain rainbow haired friend. The laughter went from over abundant to scares in a few minutes. “Well pinkie I’ll tell-” she’s abruptly cut off by a knock at the door “one second!” she yells to the door as she walks to the bedroom “huh, aw no pinkie, it ain’t nothin’ just someone a knocking on the door” she scans the room a moment before opening closet and pulling a pair of pants off the shelf. “Huh, oh, I don’t know who’s at the door. I’m trying to put on some pants before I open the door” she said hopping around trying to put on the pant-leg while holding the phone between her ear and shoulder. The knocking at the door began again and continued as Applejack walked down the hall. As she grew closer she got more and more annoyed at the on and off knocking. Who could possibly be so impatient that they couldn’t hold on two simple minutes? Applejack opened the door to an older man with pale gray skin wearing a fedora and trench coat, under the coat was a pressed dress shirt and a ‘crazy’ tie. “Huh, Yes, can I help ya’?” she asked suspiciously. The man pulls out a small metal police badge “pinkie, I’m gonna haf’ to call you back.” “Hello, I’m detective cord, discord.” He replies putting away the badge and pulling out a flip open note pad “is this the residence of” he glances at the note pad “Appeljack?” “Yea” she replied “Are you applejack, and if not is she in at the moment.” He asked writing in the note pad “I’m she.” She answered “I’m here investigating the accident that occurred Thursday night on I-612.” “What’s that got to do with me?” “Do you mind if we discuss this inside?” he asked polite as he could Applejack waved for him to come in and shut the door behind him. He looked each way a moment before finding himself a seat on the couch, Applejack sat in her chair hunched over as discord pulled a photo out of his coat pocket handing it to her. “It’s a shame what happened to that cheese sandwich guy.” She commented as she took the picture. Discord points to the photo “Do you believe you could identify the vehicle in this photo?” Applejacks hand shoots over her mouth as she sees an all too familiar 99’impala “Tha-that’s fluttershys car.” “I’m sorry about that,” he stated as he took back the photograph. “What happened? Is she alright? Or is she-” she went quiet at the very thought of her friend being dead. Discord ran his hand through his thick black hair “I’m sorry to be the one to tell you this ma’am, she’s currently missing.” He looked as Applejack went from tan orange to whiter than rarity “when we arrived at the scene of Mr. Sandwich’s accident we found paint and scratches from another vehicle on the front near the headlights. We believe his vehicle struck or was struck by the one in the photo” As he explained Applejack couldn’t think of anything that made this all make sense. “Now Applejack, I’m going to ask you a few questions and I’d like for you answer them as honestly as you could please.” He asked with a minor serious tone. “why do ya’ say that? Do ya’ think I’m gonna lie or something?” “No” he replied with a look of caution “how do you know the missing person?” “She’s one of my best friends since about 7th grade.” Applejack replied “Given the information, we believe the crash took place at 12’0 clock a.m. or around that time so we need to know what happened around late Wednesday night.” Discord asked “Well at about 7:30 p.m. fluttershy and I were at a party being hosted by our friend pinkie pie.” “Was anyone else there?” he went on “Uh, yea, there was Rarity, Sunset Shimmer, Rainbow Dash, and Night Shade.” He writes down the names of each person as she’d list them off “Do you know where I can find these friends of yours?” “Well Night Shade is up two floors in room c-6, Rarity lives in the housing above her boutique in town, pinkie and Rainbow live in nearby neighborhood and sunset lived the auburn community.” “You mean the housing project.” Discord interjected “Yes.” She answered. “Where were you after the party?” “Night Shade, Rainbow Dash, and I came home, well rainbow stayed the night as she was too tired to go home and I was tired to drive.” She answered “Was there drinking at this party?” discord asked expectantly Applejack rubbed her head “Yea, fluttershy didn’t have more than a drink.” After a few more questions discord walked out the door as he thanked Applejack for her time while reassuring her that they would find her friend. Applejack shut the door and immediately ran for the phone dialing fluttershy’s number, no answer; she calls again, no answer. Her heart sank as she started to do something that she’d been denying for the past couple of hours, believing fluttershy was really missing and for two days, nobody did anything about it. Sunset sat in the living room of her rented house as a call came in on her headset. “Hello, vidmark customer service how may I help you……No sir we don’t carry that” she exclaimed “…Well let me see, the latest models are the pro sigma 3000 and the geers v.5…No sir, the geers v.3 was discontinued last year…No, the dosen’t send replacement parts, however if you would like to trade in your v.3 for a v.5 it goes toward a discount…Well the v.5 has some standard updates, new features, and includes a month free subscription to SHOW ‘on the go’.” She listened as the customer and another person chatted a bit before coming to an agreement on the new device. “Thank you sir and have a wonderful afternoon.” She hangs up the call looking at the clock. Her phone ring and she snitches it up answering it as she pulled off the head set “hello” she answered tired and yawning into the phone “wait, slow down. Can you repeat that Applejack, I didn’t quite hear you.” She listen as applejack sputtered in coherent sentences and heavy breaths “whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on a second, fluttershy is missing? ……okay, okay. Look take a deep breath and start from the beginning.”
