Button Mash's POV: Ugh! I can't believe I screwed up my date with Sweetie Belle by starting a milkshake race! I'm so immature! I need to find a way to tell her those 3 words that will change everything: I love you. But, she probably thinks I'm a no-good video game addict. I think I'll need help from my friends Pipsqueak and Rumble. They'll know what to do. After all, they have crushes on Apple Bloom and Scootaloo. We also made a Cutie Mark Crusaders club for boys. I hope my plan works! Sweetie Belle's POV: Why would Button start a milkshake race?! That's so immature of him! I know were only 8, but that's crazy! I was about to tell him about my crush on him, but then I thought that he still had feelings for Apple Bloom's cousin, Babs Seed. So, I didn't tell him. I'm gonna need help from Apple Bloom and Scoot so I can tell him my feelings for him. I hope he loves me back.
Rumbloo:Too Cool for Romance
The CMC were having a meeting at their clubhouse on what to do for Hearts and Hooves Day tommorow.
Sweetie Belle: " Do you guys have any ideas?"
Apple Bloom: " Well, we can't try the love potion again after what happened last year. So, Ah've been thinkin that since Miss Cheerilee was havin a Hearts and Hooves Dance at the schoolhouse, we could get dates".
Scootaloo:"Ugh! Here we go again with the smoochy talk! It's SO disgusting! Besides, I don't like anypony, but you guys already have dates: Button Mash and Pipsqueak".
Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom started to blush.
Apple Bloom(blushing):" Well, that may be true, but me and Sweetie know that you like Rumble".
Scootaloo(trying not to blush):"I do not! I'm too cool for romance! And so is Rumble!" Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle give her sarcastic looks.
Sweetie Belle:"Oh really? Like the time when we went home after Dinky Doo's sleepover and you kept saying how fast he can fly, how dreamy his eyes were, and how handsome he was?"
Scootaloo:"OK! You caught me! I like him, ok? I just*sigh* can't ask him out. I'm scared." Then, there was a knock at the door. Sweetie Belle to open it and was suprised to see Rumble. Rumble: Um.. Is Scootaloo here? I need to give her something.", he asked. Sweetie Belle:"Yes, she's here." Scootaloo came to the door. Rumble had a heart-shaped box on his back that said 'To Scootaloo'. He handed the box to her. Scootaloo(surprized):"Is this for me, Rumble?" "Yes. You can open it if you want to.", he replied. Scootaloo opened the box and saw her favorite chocolates. Rumble:"Scootaloo, will you be my very special somepony? "Scootaloo:"Yes, Rumble. I would love to." Scootaloo gave Rumble a kiss on the cheek. Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom:"Awwwww!!!!" Sweetie Belle was still chasing Button Mash outside when he was screaming when she finally caught him at the girls CMC clubhouse.Button Mash;" Sweetie Belle, I was just kidding about the girl germs. I just didn't want to sound like a dork in front of you." Sweetie Belle couldn't believe it. Button Mash likes her. Button Mash:"Is it okay if you let me do this?" Then, Button pressed his lips against hers. Sweetie Belle kissed back! Button Mash:"Sweetie Belle, will you be my Player 2?" Sweetie Belle:"YESS!!" She gave Button a big hug.Pip and Apple Bloom walked outside holding hooves.Apple Bloom:"So, Ah'm guess'in that ya'll are dati'n?" Button Mash:"Yep! I finally found my Player 2!" Sweetie Belle started to blush. Pip, Apple Bloom, Button Mash, and Sweetie Belle went to Sugarcube Corner to get the Hearts and Hooves Day Milkshake Special from Pinkie Pie. Pinkie:"Well, hello lovebirds! Would you like the Milkshake Special?" Pip and Button:"Sure!" After their milkshakes, they all went home.After Pip and Apple Bloom went home, Button Mash walked Sweetie Belle to the Carousel Boutique.Sweetie Belle:"Thanks for walking me home. I was really romantic." Then, they started to kiss.Button:"Good night,Sweetie." Sweetie Belle:"Good night,Button." Then, Button walked home.Button's Mom:"Hey sweetie! How was your day?" Scootaloo then left the clubhouse with Rumble and It was just Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle.
Sweetie Belle:"I know they will make an adorable couple"
Apple Bloom:"Well, since Scoot now has a date, we need to ask Pip and Button."
Sweetie Belle:"Where is their CMC clubhouse?"
Apple Bloom:"Behind the school"
They trotted over to the boys CMC clubhouse to ask them to the dance.
In the clubhouse, Pipsqueak and Button Mash were playing Super Mario 3 on their joyboys.
There was a knock at the door.
Pip(pauses game):"I'll get it!"
He opened the door to see his long-time crush with her friend:Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle.
Pipsqueak:"(dreamily)Oh...hi Apple Bloom"
Apple Bloom(confused):"Uh..hi Pip. So ye know the Hearts and Hooves School Dance that's tommorow night?"
Pip:"Yes. Why?"
Apple Bloom(blushing):"I was wonde'rin....would ye....like to...go with...me?"
Pip stood there, surprised at what came out of Apple Bloom's mouth and didn't say a word.
Apple Bloom(sadly):"Oh..I understand. I was just askin."
As she was going to leave, Pip grabbed her back and pressed his lips against hers!
Sweetie Belle and Button Mash stood there, mouth agap.
Sweetie Belle:"Well, that was fast."
Button Mash:"AAAHHH! PIPSQUEAK GOT GIRL GERMS!" He ran outside, hysterically screaming.
Sweetie Belle(annoyed):"Oh boy."
Apple Bloom:"So, is that a yes?"
Pipsqueak:"Of course! I would love to go with you, Apple Bloom!"
Apple Bloom gave Pip a kiss on the cheek. Sweetie Belle ran outside to chase Button Mash, who was still screaming.
