A Stinky Problem

The Cakes had gone on vacation in Manehattan and they asked Pinkie Pie to babysit the twins Pound and Pumpkin Cake. Pinkie began her work, playing with the twins, until...

"Oh, it seems like somepony needs their diaper changed!" Pinkie Pie said, with an exaggerated sniff, putting her hooves up to her muzzle.

Pinkie, not wanting to let that turn into a problem, called them to play "horsey" (where Pound and Pumpkin mount on Pinkie and she bounces away) and it seemed to work, as they became very happy!

"Phew! Alright! Now that we already played it's time to change you two.” Pinkie Pie declared, as she lifted the two and put them on the changing table and then changed their diapers. Soon after the change. Pinkie Pie started to breathe again, as she went back to playing with the twins, until a foul smell- one not coming from the twins- reached her muzzle.

"Oh my! That was fast!” Pinkie said as she put her hooves on her muzzle.

Pinkie smelled Pound Cake, then she smelled Pumpkin, the lack of any odours revealing that the foul smell was not coming from them.

Pinkie set herself off to search for the smell’s source- forcing herself to take her hooves off her nose to better track the rancid odour. She ended up narrowing the origin of the stink in a secluded corner, where a female pink colored earth pony foal with black eyes and an empty jar of cookies were.

Pinkie took her to the changing table and she said "Alrighty! Now you are very lucky, my little foal! I don't know what your name is, but I think we’re gonna have a lot of fun!" And the foal giggled in delight.

As soon as this happened, the bell rang and Pinkie went to go see who it was there.

"Twilight, I wasn’t expecting to see you here! I’ve really got my hooves full today!” Pinkie Pie exclaimed “I don’t think I’ve ever been given such a difficult task before.”

"Are you taking care of the Cake's twins?" Twilight asked.

"Yes I am, and, you won't believe this! When I finished changing them, guess what I found..." Pinkie Pie said happily.

"Oh my! What is that smell, Pinkie?" Twilight asked, while holding her muzzle.

"Oh no! Not again!" Pinkie Pie replied, thinking that another baby appeared. Pinkie Pie darted to the kitchen, and Twilight followed close behind.

Upon entering the kitchen, Twilight was surprised to see an unfamiliar foal. "Who's that baby, Pinkie?” she asked

"That’s what I was going to tell you! When I changed them, this baby suddenly appeared in a corner with an empty jar of cookies on the ground, and I had to change her too!” Pinkie Pie said in one breath “And then you arrived. And now, it looks like I will have to change her again! How did it happen so fast?!"

"Pinkie Pie, that empty jar. What was in it?" Twilight asked.

"Well, it had chocolate cookies in it, but I don't know what you’re...oh, I see!” Pinkie Pie realized. A LONG day lay ahead for her.
