A Stinky Problem

Just when Pinkie Pie thought she wouldn’t be able to catch Biscoito in time, a miracle happened. She was running so fast, that she forgot to watch where she was going. She tripped and stumbled forward. This was enough for her to catch Biscoito just before it would’ve been too late.

“YAY! The baby is saved!” Cheered a crowd of ponies. They had wanted to help, but by the time they could do anything, Pinkie Pie had already caught Biscoito.

“Congratulations Pinkie, you caught her just in time!” Twilight said with a smile. But the happy moment was soon interruped by a familiar stench.

“Sowwy Pinkie.” Biscoito apologized.

“Oh, my little Biscoito, you don’t have to be sorry,” Pinkie Pie insisted “I was distracted by all our games. I was focused on just playing with you and forgot to take care of you. You wanted to play as soon as possible and tried to find the closest thing to replace when I went to search for more diapers. But what matters, is that we are all safe now! I’ll take you home, and I will get you in a nice, clean diaper so fast, you won’t even notice!”

“You awe the best babisittew in the wowwd Pinkie!” Biscoito said, hugging Pinkie Pie.

Once Pinkie Pie returned to Sugarcube Corner, she quickly followed up on her promise, and changed Biscoito into a new diaper for what felt like the tenth time that day.

Soon afterward, there came a knock at the door.

“Oh! Who could it be at this hour?” Pinkie Pike asked, opening the door with Biscoito resting on her lap.

“Biscoito! Is it really you?” Said a voice that Pinkie Pie didn’t recognize. A few seconds later, a pink coated earth pony trotted through the door. Her mane and tail were loosely styled into dark brown locks, her eyes dark green. Her cutie mark was a black musical note. “Biscoito! It’s really you!” Biscoito left Pinkie’s hooves and went straight to the hooves of the mare.

“S ... So ... are you her mother?” Pinkie Pie asked, even though she was certain she knew the answer.

“Yes, it's me!” the mare replied “Thank you so much for taking care of her, I was so worried about her!”

“But why have I never seen you before?” Pinkie Pie asked

“Well, first let me introduce myself,” Biscoito’s mother said with a smile “My name is Glorious Melody.”

“It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Pinkie Pie said, trying to hide her despair. She was glad that Biscoito had been reunited with her mommy, but at the same time, she knew what this would mean.

“I just moved to Ponyville not too long ago,” Glorious Melody explained “But while I was buying furniture, my little foal disappeared. I thought Biscoito ...”

“Wait! Her real name is Biscoito?!” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Yup! I gave it to her because she seems-” Glorious Melody began

“Very cuddly and likes to eat cookies!” Glorious Melody and Pinkie Pie said together.

"I was desperate and didn’t know what to do, because I didn’t know the town,” Glorious Melody explained “But thanks to your pegasus friend here, I finally found my little girl! What did you say your name was again?”

“Name’s Rainbow Dash.” Rainbow Dash replied.

“Thank you so much, Rainbow Dash! I am very grateful for that!” Glorious Melody said sincerely.

“No problem!” Rainbow Dash said happily “Give me a shout if she goes missing again, see ya around!”

“See you later, Rainbow Dash and see you later ... err ... What's your name?” Glorious Melody asked.

“Pinkie Pie, though my friends call me Pinkie.” Pinkie Pie said sadly, her voice void of its usual energy.

“See you later, Pinkie Pie!” Glorious Melody called “Thank you for taking care of my precious angel.” And Pinkie Pie watched, as Biscoito waved to her, as she went home with her mother.
