The Field of Pure Disappointment
A tuft of grass realizes that it was once a horse, yet cannot understand how, for it is a blade of grass; however, it does begin to understand the deeper ramifications of its existence.
One day, a foalish stallion met their gruesome end and was buried in a shallow grave in an open field. Unfortunately, he did not fade into the calm, quiet, nonexistence he had always dreamed of. He became grass. This is the tale of his newfound adventures as a tuft of grass.
