Everything was calm, but then Pinkie pie appeared jumping around excited as always yelling. “Fluttershy I have exciting news” said pinkie being herself with a wide smile on her face. “Well what is it” asked Fluttershy a little worried and jumpy from pinkie coming from nowhere. “Somepony new is coming to Ponyville” exclaimed pinkie jumping around scaring of the animals. “Really who is it” asked Fluttershy now curious. “I don’t know I just got the feeling” said pinkie with a big grin on her face. Fluttershy was now a little disappointed but still expected what pinkie said is true because… well she’s pinkie pie. “At last I’m here” said a green Pegasus pulling a wagon down a trail then stopping to look over a small town. “Well here’s my new home for a while” he said as he started approaching the town. But I need to be careful he said in his head looking back at his wagon full of stuff. While walking on the trail he heard a soft humming in the tree’s and decided to see what it was. He walked through the woods for a little he heard the humming getting louder. He then peeked through a few bushes he saw a yellow Pegasus surrounded by birds and rabbits and squirrels humming and feeding them. He couldn't take his eyes of the mare and his ears of her humming as if he was in a trance. He then realized how long he was staring at her and started to head back to his wagon and continue to the small town. He then reached the town gate and was surprised by a pink mare the jumped out of nowhere screaming and yelling. “Welcome to Ponyville” she said jumping around him “Let me introduce you to everypony” she said pulling him along to 4 ponies. “This is Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Twilight Sparkle, and I’m pinkie pie” she said pointing at each of them. “And you ar-“said rainbow when she was cut off by rarity who exclaimed “Wait where  is Fluttershy” she said when we all heard a quiet “Over here” We all looked at the direction it came from and saw a yellow Pegasus and he looked in surprise when he saw her in the woods. “And this is Fluttershy” said pinkie pointing at the yellow Pegasus. “Now that we’re all here what’s your name” asked Rainbow to the green Pegasus. “I’m Globe Trotter” he said with a soft smile. “Then your talent is traveling” asked Twilight confused then looked at his cutie mark. “No, I can um, well spread peace” he said a little shyly making rainbow and twilight curious. “Well welcome to Ponyville, lets show you around” said Pinkie as we started to walk We continued walking for about fifteen minutes and Pinkie just wouldn’t stop asking Globe questions like whom he is and where he’s been. Then they made it to his new house and he started to put his stuff in his home when pinkie said. “Hey how about a little help” she said when she grabbed one of his bags to bring in his house then everypony started to help. “Thank you but the last few bags I can carry myself” he said when he was about to get another when a yellow hoof grabbed for the same bag. “Oh sorry” said Fluttershy as she backed away from the bag. “It’s ok I didn’t see you reaching for it” he said reassuring her. After a while of unloading they all saw only a few boxes left. “Almost done yay” exclaimed Pinkie when. “It’s ok I can do them later” said Globe with a small smile. “Really why what’s in them” Asked a curious Rainbow Dash standing in front of him. “Just some personal stuff” he said making Rainbow and Twilight suspicious. “Ok then let’s show you around town then” said Pinkie pulling Globe along again. “So where first” he asked as Pinkie and the rest showed him around. First they went to sugar cube corner where Pinkie ordered Globe a special welcome to your new home cake even though it wasn’t necessary. Then Fluttershy said they could go to the park and when they got there, “Heads up” was heard when a black Pegasus flew right into Globe knocking him down. “Sorry man” said the Pegasus getting off him. “It’s ok who are you” Globe asked seeing the black stallion with pegasus wings, a silver mane and tail, and a lightning bolt for a cutie mark. “I’m Thunderlane one of the fastest pegasi here in Ponyville” he answered “Now who are you” he asked walking up to him. “I’m Globe Trotter” he answered calmly. “Well you’re a Pegasus to?” Thunderlane asked looking at globe’s wings. “Yes why” Globe asked. “Well I was just wondering if you would like to race” said Thunderlane when the main six walked over. “Are you okay globe” asked Fluttershy walking next to him. “I’m fine and Thunderlane I accept your race” said globe making Thunderlane smile. “Thunderlane challenged you” asked rainbow looking at the Pegasus. “I just want to see how fast he I” said Thunderlane as he started to look around “First one to the other side of Ponyville and back wins” said Thunderlane getting into a racing position. “Okay then” Globe said looking getting ready next to him. “Alright this I got to see” said Rainbow as the rest stood next to her. “Ready…set…Go” Shouted Thunderlane as the two stallions blasted of. A minute later they could see Globe coming back calmly and smiling when he landed followed by Thunderlane close behind. “Wow you are one fast Pegasus” said Thunderlane and Rainbow Dash at the same time. “Thanks but it was nothing let’s race again sometime” said Globe as he and the main six left the park “So where to next” asked globe walking next to everyone. Rarity got the idea to take him to her boutique and have him try on some clothes, Rainbow flew away when she heard that but Globe didn’t seem to mind which made Rarity excited. After a full 30 minutes of different clothes they continued but Rarity stayed behind at her shop with some new ideas. Then Applejack decided they should go see sweet apple acres, when they arrived they all saw a red stallion hitting tree’s with his hind hooves and walked up to him. “Howdy Big Mac” said Applejack when they got next to him working. “Howdy there sis, who’s that ya got there” asked Big Mac pointing at Globe. “This is the new pony Globe Trotter” answered A J as globe walked up to him. “Hello nice to meet you” said Globe holding out his hoof and Big Mac shook it. “Sis Applebloom could use your help in the barn” said Big Mac going back to the tree. “Ok girls can yawl come with me” asked A J as the girls left and Globe stayed. “Do you need any help” asked Globe offering to help get the apples. “Sure can ya get that tree over there” asked Big Mac when Globe left and came to the tree. “All you need to do is” said Big Mac when he was cut off by seeing Globe kick the tree with both his hind legs and every apple on the tree fell off at the same time. “Like that” asked Globe when Big Mac just nodded and the girls minus A J showed up. “Her girls where’s Applejack” Globe asked looking back at the barn. “Applejack has to stay a little bit longer so we decided to continue showing you around” answered Twilight as they left sweet apple acres. “Bye Big Mac” said Globe waving as big mac still in slight shock waved back. They then walked by Sugar Cube Corner again when Pinkie decided to go in and help the cakes. Twilight thought Globe look like to come into see the library and possibly get a book. Globe liked the idea as the trio saw a small tree come into view. “So this is the library” asked Globe walking in front of it. “It’s not just a library it’s also Twilight's home” said Fluttershy walking next to globe as twilight walked in followed by globe and Fluttershy to find the lights off. “Spike must be asleep already” said Twilight walking in turning the light’s on when. “BOO” was exclaimed making Twilight and Fluttershy jump seeing a male unicorn above using magic to make himself float. “Elemental you scared me and look at Fluttershy” said Twilight yelling at the unicorn pointing at Fluttershy cowering in fear “Sorry I just wanted to have some fun” he said getting on the ground. “What are you two doing here” he asked seeing Twilight no longer angry. “We’re here to show the new stallion around” answered twilight. “Where is he” asked Elemental seeing no stallion. “What where” said Fluttershy and Twilight seeing Globe gone when. “I’m here for you” said a deep grumbling voice as the lights went out and Elemental turned around to see red eyes staring at him making him scream like a mare. “AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” screamed Elemental ducking to the ground when the lights came on to see a green Pegasus stallion with red eyes. “And that’s what you deserved” Globe said walking to the girls to see them laughing. “Is this your friend” asked Elemental standing up. “Yes I’m their friend I’m Globe Trotter” Globe said when Elemental started to laugh at what happened. “You really got me I’m Elemental Fury your pretty sneaky” said Elemental walking up to Globe. “Where are you from” he asked making Globe flinch. “I’m from Manehatten” globe answered hesitantly. “Well then we should hang out then” said Elemental. “I think it’s time I should head home” said Globe about to leave. “I’ll walk to your house with you” said Fluttershy walking up to him. “Ok then let’s go” said Globe as they left the library. After a 20 minute walk they made it to Globe’s house. “Thanks for walking home with me” said Globe making Fluttershy blush. “No problem. Goodbye” she said walking away as Globe walked into his house. She’s very nice, I think I like her said globe in his head with a smile before changing it to a frown. But if she finds out what I am she might hate me or be scared of me said globe again in his head when he approached a wall and moved a painting reveiling a strange symbol and pushed the wall. Then the wall moved and a small staircase was found and globe walked down it as the wall closed behind him. //-------------------------------------------------------// The strange figure //-------------------------------------------------------// The strange figure The next day, Elemental was walking around town in hopes to find Globe when he spotted Thunderlane and Big Macintosh talking in the market. “Hey Thunderlane, Big Mac!” He shouted getting their attention and approached them. “Hey Elemental! What are you up to?” Asked Thunderlane wondering why he had called to them. “I was wondering if you two knew where Globe is? He is the new pony.” Answered Elemental. “I haven’t seen him since last night.” Said Big Mac. “Me to,” Answered Thunderlane “I wonder where he is... I want to race him again, he is one fast stallion.” Said  Thunderlane. "Strong too.” Added Big Mac. “Sneaky as well. He scared me for scaring Twilight and Fluttershy” Finished Elemental when they all saw Fluttershy walk towards them. “Are you three talking about Globe?” Asked Fluttershy who was obviously interested. “Yeah. Have you seen him today?” Asked Thunderlane as Fluttershy became her shy self again. “No I haven’t. Only last night I hoped to show him my cottage and a few other ponies today...” Answered Fluttershy when she looked to the ground and saw a shadow move on the roof tops shadow. “What?” she said when she looked up and saw a figure move out of sight on the rooftop. “Did you see that?” Asked Thunderlane when Fluttershy looked up to see all three of them also see the figure. “What was that?” Asked Elemental looking at them. “I don’t know, but I got this strange feeling something is about to happen...” Answered Big Mac when he started to walk away. “Where are you going?” Asked Fluttershy when Thunderlane and Elemental followed. “I’m going to see where that figure's going.” Big Mac answered when the other two nodded. “I’m coming then.” Said Fluttershy, following them. _____________________________________________________________________________________ “Did any of y'all see where it went?” Asked Big Mac looking at the roofs seeing nothing. “Nope.” Answered Thunderlane and Elemental. “No.” Answered Fluttershy looking disappointed when they all stopped walking. “Maybe it's here...” Said Elemental when he started to look at the crowd. “Maybe... let’s look.” Said Thunderlane when they all heard screaming and saw ponies running. “What’s going on?” Asked Fluttershy as she and the three stallions made their way through the running ponies to find a sight they did not want to see. On the ground about ten yards ahead of them was a changeling lying on the ground before being pulled into an alley way. “Fluttershy, Thunderlane, Big Mac, Elemental” They all turned to see the rest of the main six running towards them. “Did you four see that?” Twilight asked galloping in a hurry. “Yes we did.” Answered Elemental. “I can’t believe this happened!” Said Rarity on the verge of passing out. “I know! How can there be a changeling in PonyVille?” Said Thunderlane making the 5 mares confused. “What in equestria are you talking about? A stallion was just murdered!” Said twilight a little mad at Thunderlane, thinking he was trying to be funny. “Where?” Asked Elemental making them all mad and confused. “We just saw a changeling corpse being dragged into this alley.” Said Big Mac. “That was a stallion!” They all shouted. “We saw a changeling.” Said Elemental confused. “Come, look.” Said Twilight bringing them into the alley to find the corpse. “See! A stallion!” Said applejack confused by her brother. “That’s a changeling.” Said Thunderlane making them all horribly confused. “Fluttershy isn’t this a stallion?” Said Rarity putting Fluttershy out of her comfort zone. All fluttershy did was quiver, making the mares think she nodded. “See even Fluttershy says it is a stallion!” Said rainbow getting off the ground “Let’s find this killer and stop him!” She shouted with the other 4 nodding and running of while she flew away. “I actually see a changeling... Not a stallion...” Said Fluttershy making smiles come from the stallions. “But how come we see a changeling and they don’t?” Asked Thunderlane with them all confused. “A bigger question is, who did this?” Said Elemental as they all looked at each other, with none of them knowing a figure in a white robe was watching them from the roof before running off. A few hours after that all happened, Fluttershy was still looking for Globe, while the stallions went home trying to figure out why they saw a changeling. After a while of looking, she found Globe at the park. “Globe!” She said as she began to walk towards him catching his eye. “Hey Fluttershy. What’s going on?” Asked Globe when she walked right next to him. “I wanted to introduce you to a few ponies and show you my home!” She said as they started walking off. “Ok. Show me these other ponies.” Said Globe as they walked into town. After a while, Fluttershy introduced him to Octavia, who was a very fancy earth pony, Vinyl Scratch who was a talented dj and roommate of Octavia, Bon Bon, an earth pony who appears to have something to do with sweets, and Lyra a unicorn who plays the harp very well. “Anypony else?” Asked Globe as they walked towards a house. “Just two more!” Answered Fluttershy knocking on the door seeing a brown stallion answered it. “Hello Fluttershy! how may I help you?” Asked the stallion letting her in. “I’m here to introduce you to--” Said Fluttershy before Globe cut her off. DOCTOR Hooves! It’s been a long time!” Said Globe putting his hoof out. “Ah Globe! I didn’t expect to see you here!” Said Doctor Hooves, shaking his hoof. “You know each other?” Asked Fluttershy walking in. “Of course! We met in Canterlot, and I must say Globe, you look as fine as ever!” Answered Doctor Hooves. “Well, I wish I could stay and catch up, but Fluttershy is showing me around.” Said Globe, making Doctor Hooves a little disappointed. “Alright, but we will talk later.” Said Doctor Hooves as Globe and Fluttershy left. “Now who is this last pony?” Asked Globe, when a grey mare in a mail outfit crashed in front of them. “Her.” Said Fluttershy as the mare got up. “Hi Globe!” The mare said, waving at Globe as he waved back. “Hi Ditzy! Yes I met her in Canterlot too” Said Globe as Ditzy flew off to deliver more mail. “Well you seem to know everypony I wanted to show you. Now, let’s see my cottage. I need to finish helping the animals anyway.” She said as they CONTINUED walking. After a ten minute walk they made it to Fluttershy’s cottage which was full of animals waiting for her to be put to bed. SORRY I’m late. I was showing my friend around.” Apologised Fluttershy as she started putting animals to sleep. “May I meet him?” Said a voice as a strange creature appeared in the ROOM. “Discord!” Said Fluttershy surprised, “I didn’t know you were here!” She said, still startled. “Well, I am, and I would like to meet this friend of yours.” Discord said seeing Globe at the doorway getting a worried expression. “This is Globe.” Said Fluttershy as she went outside to put more animals to bed. “I didn’t expect to see a pony like you around here." Said Discord staring at Globe. “I am aware that you are not allied with them any more, so I’m not here with you.” Said Globe making Discord sigh with relief when Fluttershy came inside “The animals are asleep.” She said walking into the living room. “Well, I should head home now. Nice talking to you Discord. Bye” Said Globe as he walked away. “He is one SPECIAL stallion. You picked a good one.” Said Discord making Fluttershy blush. “I can tell you like him.” Said Discord as he walked inside. "I do like him" Said Fluttershy, smiling as she headed upstairs. //-------------------------------------------------------// To Canterlot //-------------------------------------------------------// To Canterlot The next morning started out normally for Twilight, which was reading books in the library. After about 45 minutes she decided she should do something else, but she couldn’t think of anything. “Twilight! You have a letter from The Princesses!” Said Spike as he ran down the stairs holding a letter. “What does it say Spike?” Asked Twilight, turning to face the purple dragon. “My faithful student, we ask you and The Elements of Harmony to come to Canterlot quickly. We need your assisstance in something of great importance that has happened. From the Princesses Luna and Celestia.” Spike read aloud, making twilight worried. “Whatever happened must be bad. Spike send letters to the girls telling them to come here and hurry and explain why.” Said Twilight making Spike hurry and send the letters. “Pack a bag Spike. We're going to Canterlot.” Said Twilight going upstairs. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Globes day had also started out as normal as normal can be, when he heard a knock on the door. He went to answer it to find Ditzy standing In front of the doorway. “Hello Ditzy! What is it?” Asked Globe when Ditzy handed him a letter. “This letter is for you, from Canterlot, Bye!” Said Ditzy before flying off. Globe then closed the door and sat in a chair and began to read the letter. Globe we have bad news. Please make haste and come quickly. Time is running SHORT we await your arrival and hope for good news. Globe looked at this with his eyes full of worry. He then quickly ran upstairs to pack a bag. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ After an hour, The Elements of Harmony grouped at the Golden Oaks Library with bags ready for their trip. “I’m glad you all came here as fast as you could.” Said Twilight, as they left the library and headed for the train station. “I wonder what could get the princesses so worried!” Stated Rarity with confusion in her voice. “I don’t know... But it must be big!” Said Twilight as they reached the trail station. “Hey, what’s Globe doing here?” Asked Spike when they all looked, and saw Globe, who seemed to be waiting for a train. “I don’t know...” Said Applejack when they walked to him. “Hey Globe!” They said, startling him. “Hey girls, are you waiting for a train?” Asked Globe looking at them. “We’re going to Canterlot by order of The Princesses.” Answered Twilight smiling “Where are you going though?” She then asked. “I’m going to Canterlot to see my friends there. They wanted to see me.” He answered. “May we meet these friends of yours?” Asked Rarity walking up to him. “I’m sure that’s fine, they own an Inn there too. That’s where I’m staying for the night.” Globe said, making them confused. “They all own the Inn?” Asked Fluttershy. “All three of them.” He answered when the train came and the conductor walked off and shouted. “Train for Canterlot!” He shouted, letting ponies on. “There’s the train; let’s go!” Said Rainbow as they all boarded. After about 2 hours, the train stopped and everyone walked off. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ “Well, it’s nice to be back in Canterlot." Globe said walking into the city followed by The Elements of Harmony. “So, what Inn do yours friends own?” Asked Fluttershy when they turned a corner. “It’s called the White Light Inn.” Globe answered making them all confused. “Haven’t heard of that Inn...” Said twilight walking next to Globe. “It’s not that popular, but they still get buisness.” He said making them all no longer confused. “There it is!” Said Globe as they approached a building with a sign that said ‘White Light Inn’. “Well I’m excited to meet these ponies.” Said Rarity making Globe stop. “Be aware, they might be not what you’re used to...” Said Globe, a little uneasy. “It’s ok! We’re friends with pinkie." Said Spike as they continued walking towards the building. They opened the door to see nopony in it making the girls and Spike a little confused. “Where are they?” Asked Rainbow looking at Globe. “They're probably just in the storage room in the back.” Said Globe pointing at a door when a blue griffon walked out. “Why did I have to do that job...” Grumbled the griffon. When he saw the 7 ponies and dragon, he recognised his friend. “Ah Globe! you made” Said the griffon as Globe walked up to him. “Hey! How’s buisness been?” Asked Globe when he stopped in front of the counter where the griffon was. “Normal, but who are these ponies?” Asked the griffon pointing at them. “These are my new friends! Twilight, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy.” He said, pointing to all of them. “And who’s the dragon?” Asked the griffon looking at the dragon. “That’s Spike; and everypony this is Midnight. He’s one of the owners.” Said Globe introducing them to his griffon friend. “Nice to meet you.” Said Midnight walking towards them. “Well, we sure didn’t expect this.” Said Twilight with the other 5 ponies nodding. “What did you think we would be. Ponies?” Asked Midnight. “Hey, where are the others?” Asked Globe trying to change the subject. “Shift is making the rooms, and Zook is cleaning the kitchen while I was checking the storage.” Answered Midnight looking at Globe now, when they heard a fire start to burn up. “What was that?” Asked Spike looking towards what he assumed was the kitchen. “That was probably Zook getting the kitchen warmed up.” Answered Midnight walking towards the kitchen. “Hey Globe, are all ya friends griffons?” Asked applejack walking to him. “No. only him.” He answered making her sigh with relief when Midnight walked out of the kitchen. “I told him you were here and would like him to meet your friends,” Said 'Night walking by the group. “And he is happy to know there is a dragon here.” He added, making Spike curious. Then the door opened and a white dragon with gold spikes along his back, and a gold underbelly walked out, startling the ponies and making Spike a little excited to see another dragon living amongst ponies. “So these are your friends Globe?" Asked Zook walking towards them. If Spike had to guess, he was the size of the teenage dragons he had met once before. “Yeah. I’m assuming Midnight told you they're names?” Said Globe, getting a nod from Zook then looked down to see Spike. “Nice to see another dragon living in a town of ponies!” Said Zook, getting a nod from Spike. “Well, now who is your last friend?” Asked twilight making them all have a worried expression. “We don’t know what you’ll think of him...” Said Midnight while Zook headed upstairs. “Well you’re not average friends and we’re fine with you.” Said rainbow confused. “Well you see--” Said Globe, when Zook walked the stairs and whispered to them making their eyes go wide. “Is he serious?” Asked Midnight getting a nod from “Well, he wishes to meet you all and hopes for the best...” Said Globe when they all heard somepony walk down the stairs and the girls and Spike saw a black horn. “Everypony, meet Shift.” Said Globe as he moved out of the way letting them see a changeling standing there before waving his bug like hoof at them. “Hi” He said a little shyly. “A changeling is your friend!?” Exclaimed them all except Fluttershy and Spike. “We met him after the changeling invasion.” Said Globe as Shift walked closer to them. “I won’t hurt you I never did hurt any innocent creature” He said as Fluttershy walked closer to him. “I believe you.” She said, making him smile when Spike followed. “Me too.” He said, making his smile a little bigger. “I don’t trust him...” Whispered rainbow to the girls, getting a nod from all of them. “Well, it was nice meeting you all but we need to go. The Princesses want us.” Said Twilight. “We’re going to stay here for a bit. We would like to get to know our new friends better!” Said Fluttershy with Spike nodding. “Ok... But after this, come to the castle.” Said Twilight as she and the rest of the girls left for the castle. “So. What is it like being a changeling?” Asked Fluttershy, starting a conversation with Shift. “When did you get your wings?” Asked Spike, starting a different conversation with “So what is the problem?” Asked Globe whispering to Night. “Our last ally in Canterlot has been killed.” Answered Night, whispering back. “Dang it!” Said Globe, quietly stomping his hoof to the ground. “But we wish to hear your news.” Said Night, making Globe look up. “I have some new recruits,” Said Globe, making Night sigh with relief. “But none of them now about this yet. We have to wait.” Globe added. “Let’s hope that is soon.” Said Night when they walked to the rest. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The rest of The Elements made it to the castle and entered the throne room to see Celestia and Luna. “Twilight we are relieved you could make it!” Said Celestia before seeing only five of them. “Where is Fluttershy and Spike?” She then asked. “They are with our friend Globe, getting to know his friends.” Answered Twilight. “But what’s the problem your highness?” Asked Applejack walking towards them. “We have found reports of murders throughout the city, and have found corpses hidden or burned.” Answered Luna making them all scared and worried. “We had a stallion get killed yesterday in Ponyville...” Said Rainbow landing on the ground. “Well then it seems these killings are no coincidence; they are obviously connected.” Said Celestia with a worried look. “But what’s strange is Big Macintosh, Thunderlane, and Elemental all said they saw a changeling get killed, when it was obviously a stallion!” Said Rarity, making the two princesses flinch. “Well, whoever is doing this we must find them and stop them.” Said Luna, getting a nod from the 5 mares before they headed for the door of the throne room. “Before you go, we have one last thing!” Said Luna getting all their attention again. “There was one suspect, but we found him dead in an alley killed differently and we found this.” Said Celestia, holding up a necklace with a strange symbol on it. “Take this. It may help you figure this out.” Said Celestia giving it to them. "Thank you! We will need it.” Said Twilight as they left the castle. //-------------------------------------------------------// Secrets revieled //-------------------------------------------------------// Secrets revieled Fluttershy’s P.O.V “So you were against your kind and their ways and were banished. Then after the invasion you met Globe, Zook, and Midnight?” I asked Shift, receiving a nod in response. “That’s basically the short version of it.” He answered, making me feel relieved that I didn’t make him feel uncomfortable. “I’m sure you’ll get wings soon.” I heard Zook say. I turned to see Spike smile. “Where were you two from again?” Asked Shift, regaining Spike's and my attention. “Ponyville.” I answered making them both gain a look of worry. “I heard something happened there... What was it?” Asked Zook making me feel a little uncomfortable to say it. “They say a stallion was killed, but when I saw what had happened by the market, I saw a changeling...” Answered Spike when I saw Globe and Midnight head over to us at a table before Globe stopped abruptly. “That’s right." I said looking away from Globe hoping he didn’t see me look at him. “I also saw a changeling and not a stallion” I added making them both shocked. “Well I hope whatever happened, it gets cleared up soon...” Said Zook as we continued the conversation. Globes P.O.V 'He saw a changeling too... that is very shocking I will need to make changes.' I thought before seeing Fluttershy quickly look away from me 'Was she looking at me?' I thought again before the door opened. “Well, we got what the princesses needed.” Said Twilight walking in with the rest of the girls and behind them a setting sun. “I guess we can stay here tonight.” Said Rainbow walking to the counter when Midnight heads over there. “That would be five bits each.” Midnight said as the five mares each got out their pay. “What did the princesses want?” Asked Spike as he looking towards them with Fluttershy, then seeing Zook and Shift look at them intensely. Spike’s P.O.V When I looked at the girls with Fluttershy I saw Shift and Zook looking at us and their eyes flash a bright gold for a split second. “Apparently the same ruffian or ruffians killed ponies here as well all the same way.” Answered Rarity with a disgusted look on her face which made me upset to see her not happy. “There was one suspect but they died and had this on them.” Rainbow pulled out a necklace with a symbol on it. “It’s a nice necklace, but what a strange symbol.” Said Fluttershy before having the necklace thrown to her by Rainbow. “Maybe you should keep hold of it, *yawn* but I’m going to bed...” Said Twilight as she and the 4 other mares walked upstairs. “Maybe we should hit the hay too.” I said as Fluttershy and I head to the counter to pay. “No need, I’ll take it.” Said Globe as he walked in front of us and payed for us. “It’s no trouble, we can pay our selves...” Said Fluttershy when Globe stopped her again. “Think of it as 'on the house'.” He said before heading upstairs. “You never know what that stallions going to do.” Said Midnight taking the bits into a container. Then suddenly my vision blurred and the walls and ceiling changed to black and I turned around and saw Globe on the stairs glowing blue, and then one of the girls walking down glowing white before everything turned back to normal. “I was wondering if I could get some water?" Asked Applejack as she came to the counter. I tried to shake off what had just happened... But I couldn’t... Then I decided to head upstairs, trying to figure out what just happened. Fluttershy’s P.O.V The next morning we got on an early train to ponyville and said goodbye to our new friends when we headed home. After a few hours I decided to go see Globe today and learn more about his friends. I arrived at his house and knocked on the door to have no response. I tried again but still no answer and I was about to go when my vision changed to black and looked around to see everypony glowing white but then I saw one pony looking at me glowing red before my vision returned to normal. “What was that?” I whispered to myself before hearing my name being called and I turned to my right and saw Thunderlane, Elemental, and Big Mac walking towards me. “Hello boy’s. What’s going on?” I asked when they stopped in front of me. “We wanted to make sure you’re okay because you just stared straight ahead.” Answered Elemental walking up to me. “I’m ok, just got a weird feeling.” I answered, making them a little confused. “And Globe isn’t home right now. He told us he had a meeting of some sorts to do today, and wouldn’t be back until tomorrow.” Said Thunderlane walking next to him. The news made me upset but then I looked at Big Mac and he had a suspicious look on his face. “Your vision changed. Didn’t it.” Said Big Mac putting two and two together. “How did you know?” I asked confused and worried. “It happened to us too.” He answered, making all of us wonder why that happened. Spike P.O.V The girls and I -minus Fluttershy- were cleaning up the library. By now, everyone knew Globe left yesterday and would come back today from some kind of meeting. “I think we’re about done!” said Twilight, when everyone just started to relax after that, we heard a knock on the door. I went and answered it and Ditzy was there standing at the doorway with a letter. “Here you go Spike! Read what it says alone with who it says.” She whispered to me before turning away. “Is it a letter from the princesses?” Asked Rarity looking at the letter as I walked back inside with it looking at it “Well, go on Spike and read what it says!” Said Twilight, walking over to me seeing my eyes grow wide. “This isn’t for you.” I said as I ran out the library. “What was that all about?” Asked Rainbow looking at the open door with every pony else. I was running through ponyville as fast as I could and once again, for the second time, my vision changed to black as it had done before. But this time, most ponies were white when I saw a few were red. As if by instinct I avoided the ponies that were red and made my way to Sweet Apple acres. When I arrived I saw Big Mac doing his chores as normal. “Big Mac!” I shouted, running towards him catching his attention. “Spike what’s wrong?” He asked as I stood in front of him panting. “Quickly find Thunderlane and Elemental and meet me at Fluttershy’s cottage!” I said panting, making him realize this was urgent. “On it.” He said before he headed towards the town while I ran towards Fluttershy’s cottage. Fluttershy’s P.O.V Today was a normal day for me taking care of my animals, I was happy Globe was coming back today but then Spike burst through the door scaring the animals. “Fluttershy!” He exclaimed. “Spike! What’s wrong?" I asked, worried that something bad had happened. “I’m just going to say Big Mac, Thunderlane, and Elemental are going to be here and I need you upstairs during this time.” He said to me firmly, making me wonder what could be going on. Then there was a knock on the door and Spike went to answer it, he opened it to reveal Big Mac, Thunderlane, and Elemental standing there. “I got them Spike.” Said Big Mac as they walked in. “Fluttershy, would you please go upstairs for this?” Spike asked me kindly, so I couldn’t refuse and went to the top of the stairs but curiosity got the better of me so I stayed there. Spike P.O.V “Why did you want us here so quickly?” Asked Thunderlane. “I got a letter Ditzy delivered and she told me only to read it with the ponies written on it and those ponies are you three and me.” I answered making us all confused. “Well what does it say?” Elemental asked when we all sat down to read the letter. "If you are reading this right now, I may be in trouble. I need all of you to come to Canterlot immediately. Before you do, go to Doctor Whooves and show him this." (Shows a piece of paper with the same symbol as the necklace) "Then go to my house. There is something there you will need. This all may seem strange at first, but it is all there for a reason. I hope this reaches you. Let no pony see this and keep them all safe especially Fluttershy." I ended making us all even more confused and worried. “Globe’s in trouble! We got to help him!” Said Thunderlane standing up abruptly. “I know we do, but what could be happening?” Asked Elemental making a point. “Let’s go to Doctor Whooves. Maybe he could give us some answers.” I stated, getting a nod from all of them. But little did we now Fluttershy heard everything and saw everything. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Fluttershy's P.O.V “Globe’s in trouble!” I quietly gasped and watched them leave. “Whether the letter says he wants me involved or not, I’m going.” I said following the 4. “Wait!” I shouted catching their attention. “Fluttershy what is it?” Big Mac confused. “I’m coming with you.” I said standing in front of them. “I don’t care if the letter said I shouldn’t, I’m coming.” I said firmly, making them all shocked at my voice. “No stopping you, is there?” Elemental asked getting a firm nod from me. “Ok, then she come." He said, making us all shocked. “But Globe said not to let her come!” Thunderlane argued pointing at me. “She wants to come, let her come.” He said when he started to walk towards town, then we snapped out of shock and followed him. Elemental P.O.V After a 23 minute walk we made it to the Doctor's house and I knocked on the door to have him answer it and let us in when he sat in a chair. “What do you 5 need?” He asked us with a friendly smile. “Globe told us to come here in a letter that he sent us.” Spike answered receiving a laugh from him. “If you’re here for what he asked from me, I’m going to need proof.” He answered when Thunderlane pulled out the paper with the strange symbol on it. “He told us to show you this.” Thunderlane said showing him the paper making the Doctor have a worried look on his face. “Oh no...” He said running to the door, locking it then to the windows, locking them and closing the blinds. “What’s going on?” Fluttershy asked scared when the Doctor ran to a bookshelf looking through the books. “No idea.” Big Mac answered when Doc pulled a book out and a piece of the floor popped up when he ran to it. “Here it is. Take this. Globe asked me to make these. Make sure no pony finds them.” He said handing us a box he pulled from the floor that popped up. “Ok, now what?” I said taking the box and put it in a saddlebag. “Go to Globe’s house and there you will find what you need. But you need to go before they found you.” He said, opening the door and letting us out. After we left, he closed and locked the door leaving us all confused. “What was that all about?” Big Mac said as we walked to Globes house. “I don’t know, but I have a bad feeling about this.” I said as we continued walking, full of questions. Behind them on the roof top there were three white hooded figures following them. Fluttershy's P.O.V We made it to Globes house after a short walk and we opened the door knowing he wasn’t home. “What are we supposed to be looking for?” I asked looking around. “Maybe we need to pull something or push something like what Doctor Whooves did?” Thunderlane said, making a point. “Ok then, let’s search different rooms then.” Spike said when we all split up in different directions. After about 10 minutes we met up at the front entrance to discuss what we found. Unfortunately none of us had any results but then Big Mac shouted for us. “I think I found something!” He shouted making us head to the living room. “What is it?” Elemental asked when we arrived to see him standing next to a painting. “This.” He said moving the painting to show a symbol on the wall that matched the paper and the necklace. Seeing the symbol, I pulled out the necklace and held it up to see the symbol was exactly the same. “STOP!” We suddenly heard from behind us as we turned to see fifteen ponies standing behind us. “What are you doing here?” Spike asked when seven of them pulled us away from the wall and threw us to the ground. “What’s going on?” I stammered terrified as they tied our hooves up with rope using magic. “Quiet!” One of them shouted when suddenly 5 of them were engulfed in green flame and were replaced by changelings. “We haven’t done anything wrong!” Thunderlane shouted, only to be shushed when each of the ponies and changelings pulled out a weapon. “Save your breath assassin scum.” A stallion shouted right in front of me. “We would never hurt a soul!” I said when the same stallion held his sword pointing at my neck. “I said save your breath. For death.” He exclaimed as I shut my eyes ready to feel a pain in my skull when a window broke and I felt the pain never came and I heard a small gasp. I opened my eyes to see the stallion standing there and dropping his sword letting it fall then I looked up to see an arrow piercing his neck before he fell. I was looking with horror yet relief that he was killed in front of me but relieved to not have died, but where did the arrow come from? Then I heard another window break, to see a changeling being struck by the arrow and falling dead. Then a big white hooded figure crashed through a window landing on a mare, piercing her neck with a blade that came from his falcon wrist meaning he was a griffon. After that, a pony struck a changeling in the back with their sword before being engulfed in green fire to reveal a changeling in the same white hooded robes. But then a tall hooded figure appeared through a window holding a bow with scaly skin meaning he was a dragon. Then the griffon had 4 ponies surround him, two with a sword, one with a knife, the last with an axe. Then he pulled an axe from his back holding it over his shoulder. Then one the stallion with a sword struck at him when he deflected it and swung back striking his stomach. The mare holding a knife and the other with a sword struck him from both sides sure of hitting him when he deflected the sword and dodged the knife to have it stab the sword pony before they got stabbed by the griffons wrist blade. Finally, the axe pony tried to strike while he was distracted before it was dodged and he was tripped and fell on his back before being struck in the head by the griffon’s axe. The changeling only had one changeling and a mare on him both with swords both on different side of him. They then charged at him and were feet away when he threw a small object to the ground before smoke exploded around him blinding the two attackers. Then the mare was struck in her back, and the smoke cleared to reveal the changeling robed on top of the other one with his own wrist blade piercing their neck. Finally the drake had three ponies and the last changeling were on him all with knifes or swords surrounding him at all sides. Then the changeling attacked with a stallion when the drake pulled a small knife out and quickly deflected one then the other before slicing both of their necks. The other stallion thought he had the jump on the drake from behind when he spun around and had the stallion run his own body in the knife. The final mare tried to run when the drake readied his bow and without second thought let the arrow fly at her head letting her fall. After the entire group was dead they looked at us and walked towards us as fear grew within us. “Are you five ok?” Asked the drake as they bent down and started to cut the ropes. “Yeah we’re fine.” Thunderlane answered when they finished cutting the ropes. “Good. Now we can get started.” The changeling said when the three headed to the painting and began moving it. “Who are you three?” Spike asked when we walked up behind them to see the griffon examining the wall. “I thought you two would recognize us Spike and Fluttershy.” The drake said as the three of them turned around and lowered their hoods making me and Spike gain faces of shock. For the three figures were Zook, Shift, and Midnight. “You but… how?” Asked Spike as me and him were horrified and utterly confused. “We can explain everything.” Midnight turned back to the wall. “Who are these three?” Asked Big Mac looking at us with Thunderlane and Elemental. “These are Globes friends Zook, Shift, and Midnight.” I answered pointing at each of them. “And who are these three.” Shift asked walking up to us with “This is Big Mac, Thunderlane, and Elemental Fury.” Spike answered pointing at them. “Nice to meet you three, but it’s time for your explanation.” Midnight pushed against the piece of wall and the wall next to it opened revealing a staircase. “For thousands of years, two groups were at war. Each fighting for the world.” Midnight started as we headed down the staircase with the door closing behind us. “One group the Templars sought out to create a world where they are the rulers and everypony must follow their orders. The other group, the Assassin’s, fought against them to keep everypony in the world free to do what they please.” Midnight finished as we continued our descend down the stairs. “We are Assassin’s. We seek to keep this world free and we need your help.” Shift said making us all shocked. “But why are you telling this to us?” Elemental asked with us nodding. “Globe told us he had four recruits.” Zook answered making me terrified. “Why?!” I asked exclaiming it. “We’ll let him explain himself when we help him.” Midnight said when we entered a small room at the bottom of the stairs and say wooden dummies a wall, and robes against another wall, and the third one had all kinds of weapons lined on it and the final one had a pigeon coop and next to that was a bowl with some kind of tool in it. “This place is crazy.” Thunderlane said as we spread out looking around the room. “Globe sure is full of surprises.” Big Mac stated when I put the satchel we got from Doctor Whooves down and looked around. “I see you got Globes order.” Zook said as he pulled the box out of the satchel. “What is it?” Elemental asked walking to him. “The assassin’s main weapon. The hidden blade.” Midnight answered as Zook opened the box to show four wrist blades. “Why did Globe order these?” Spike asked when Zook gave them to the guys. “Because we need your help to save Globe from the Templars.” Shift explained confusing us. “Why do they want him?” I asked approaching them. “He’ll explain but will you help the Assassin’s?” Zook asked when the boys looked at each other then back at Zook and nodded back at him making them smile. “I’ll help too.” I stated making them look at me shocked. “Are you sure? It will be dangerous...” Shift asked walking to me. “Yes, but I still want to help.” I said making Shift sigh with a soft smile. “We can’t stop you, ok then.” Shift said making me smile, then we joined the others heading upstairs.
