Well...it was good

It was early in the morning. I had plenty of rest, slept like I was on a cloud. I had just received a promotion and a thirty percent pay raise. At my job. I was working as a regular worker as a code monkey for a big company called Moogle. My promotion had turned me into a code director, and I and with a team of other coders, build firewalls for our company. I would say they were the best, but that would be over exaggerating our collective coding abilities.

The morning sun was just coming up and the birds were singing their little melodies. It was fantasy like. The morning to me it really felt so great, and the way it felt as I was waking up was so serene.. There was a thunderstorm last night which just put me into another world of relaxation. I felt so amazing while I slept like a baby. So I just sat up in my bed and sighed contently. I had a day off and life was good. I could wait to have that cup of coffee...and...I should wait an hour anyways....

The smell of wet grass lofted into my room which just smelled just so amazing. My house was amazing because the wind currents only moved in one direction, and the master room was in the opposite direction. In addition, there were only two windows in that same direction. So I left one open during the night, guess it was a good idea. My home was a cheap two bedroom, one office, two bath, and the living room had a 1200 square feet. I had the best computer, and all the up to date technology thanks to my promotion in Moogle. I must say, they pay their employees quite well. I was making a generous 125k a year now, officially making me a second class citizen

I'd like to say that my life was going well, and still on the upswing of things. I had a good footing on life, new energy was sparking my inner nerd. We were close to getting virtual reality, it was really only around the corner. It was the year 2019, so new things were popping out like a drug addict popping like a million pills a day. New medications, surgeries, technology was getting way better, and phones companies stopped making their phones more like tablets, focusing more on power and data storage. I had an Android phone with sixty gigabytes in solid storage, and a micro-sd card that could store two hundred more gigs! So much storage left me to download nearly half of the Moogle App Store's free games.

My morning so far made me feel like my life was going good and there were no signs of stopping. I was on a role. Fucked a hot chick at a club a few weeks ago, got paid, got a new car, new promotion, and another night's of great rest. I had pleasant dreams of killing my father with many different weapons both real and from the video games. Last night was the RYANO III, Heat Blade, Lightsaber, nukes, and lazers. Oh, and I hate my father. I was told that I would never win the game of life, and nearly put me into a massive depression that nearly killed me, and oh fucking boy I had turned his fucking words back on him. First I had won a massive amount of money after I sued him that spun me into a great collage where I became a doctor in computer sciences. Soon after that Moogle hired me.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by my phone which was buzzing softly on my nightstand. I unplugged the changer from the phone, and then I took a look at the number. Oh how did I regret doing that. The number ringing was my father's number. I still didn't know why he always tried to call me, I never really answered it. Before I could answer it, it went to voice mail. With a sigh, I scrolled over to my voice mail box.

'Uh...Hey Chris...It's me, dad. I was wondering if you'd like to talk sometime. I-I know I haven't been the best dad in the world...In fact, I feel like the worst. A-anyways... I was hoping you'd like to go catch a bite to eat and catch up. If you'd rather enjoy your day off without good'ol me, then that's fine. There was a very long pause before I heard him sigh again. 'Look... I'm sorry about everything, really I am... Jesse and Alex are gone now, and there won't be a way to ask them for forgiveness. I-I'll call you later, you're most likely sleeping. So uh...Bye man... I turned off my phone with a long sigh. I had no idea why he felt like it would be the best time to try to get in contact with me. And how the fuck did he know about my promotion?! I haven't spoken to him in four years!

Just as I was moving to get out of bed, my bedroom door exploded. The blast itself pushed my head into the railing that caused me to close my eyes at the shock. After a few moments, I was able to regain my senses. I slowly shook my head to work out the pain. I opened my eyes and looked carefully at what had caused the explosion. I saw a giant white blob and it had something wavy flowing from it. There wasn't even a strong enough draft from the window to blow it as it was doing.

I threw on my glasses to see a massive, white, winged unicorn. Its gaze was strong with hate so massive one would be dead. It had magenta eyes, the mane and tail were a mixture of purple, green, and a light blue. Standing tall, yet also in an aggressive stance, and had gold plated regalia.

I backed away a little in my bed "N-nice horsey....nnnni--nice h-hor-horsey...." It gave me this deathly glare and pulled a small pink slip up to me with a yellow glow that matched the glow on its horn. I took a closer look at it, moving my glasses a little closer. It had just looked like a pink slip with a...Oh god...They grow even wider, nearly ready to fall out as I gazed upon a darker pink dot with a check mark on it.

It pointed at me and nodded. "It's yours..." She said darkly, the sound of her voice gave away her gender easily. I mean, I already figured that the way her body was shaped along with her muzzle that sported a deep frown.

"W-wha?" I nearly died, my heart stopped suddenly. "Nnnooo?!"

Suddenly the room was getting incredibly hot. Her magenta eyes ignited into two balls of fire and her purple, green, and light green mane turned into a blazing fury. "Yes...." She seethed. I pushed of my blanket away because the room was getting hot as balls.

"No....." My face fell into my hands and I sighed. "You're her....aren't you? The same eyes...hair...gods above..."

"I visited your world to see what a normal life would be like..." The room gets colder now and she has this far off, sad look on her face. "Then I start feeling sick, and I don't feel like I'm in heat anymore....Oh mother of me...."

I raised a brow. "Your...pregnant? How?! I you're a horse!"

"I can shape shift at the cost of a lot of mana, but now I'm stuck as my regular form so I don't kill the baby!" She began to tear up and shook her head. "Oh...why...why? Why was I so stupid to let myself get like that? I-I was just so...needing..."

How could I have been so stupid. The more I look into her large magenta eyes, the more I began to see the human shape of herself. More at a loss for words right now as I stare blankly at the mare in front of me almost giving way to her emotions. There are two small bumps beginning to form just under her, but like I had said, they were still small. How long ago was this mistake we both made? Where did we do the deed and create a new life which was starting to grow inside her like a parasite.

With a sigh and a slight shutter she turned her attention back to me. "I suppose I should introduce myself to you. My name is Celestia, I carry the title of Diarch of a land known as Equestria. We are all horses, if you are too stupid to realize this. I have a sister named Luna who I share my rule with." She sat down now and pointed at me. "Now you say who you are, so that I may better recognize you as the father of our foal."

"W...Well, my name is Christopher Robins. Most of my family is dead aside from a father that I choose not to speak to. I..I uh....I work as a manager for a company known as Moogle. They make computers that rival the military's in terms of processing power. A little introverted, and I guess I'm a little selfish... but who isn't right?" She shrugged and looked away. "So uh...I-if you want to forget about me I underst-"

"NO!" She yelled, a little too loudly since I'm right in front of her. Pausing for a few short seconds, Celestia seemed to try to regain her cool. "That will not be necessary, nor will Equestrian law allow it. A our laws only allow princesses such as myself to have a prince before we are even allowed to bed. So you have a choice, well you don't, but I'm allowing you to make one anyways."

"Lay it out for me then." At least she's honest, I guess.

"You can live with me in the castle, marry me and become a triarchy with my sister and I...Or, you can live here with weekend visits to Equestria."

I scratched my chin in thought, already guessing I need to go with the latter of my choices. "W-well....I guess I would have to live with you...wouldn't I?" I laughed weakly, feeling butterflies swarm my stomach by the trillions every tick of a second that passed by. I felt really weak in the knees, and was just about to throw up all over the mother of my to-be child. Celestia only seemed to be willing to give me a slight nod.

"Should to choose to love our son or daughter, is up to you. Should you choose to love me, that is also up to you. I however, will love you in the sense that you are the father of our foal , and nothing more....." She sounded almost sad at her words, but there was still a good level of hate towards me. And it wouldn't take Stephan Hawking to realize why she would hate me.

"Rather bluntly honest, aren't you?" I ask quietly.

She stomped her hoof on the floor, making a sizable dent. "I am the ruler of an entire nation! I spent a thousand years alone while I waited for my sister's return from her banishment to the moon that she controlled! OF COURSE I SHALL VERY WELL BE BLUNT!!!" She shouted angrily at my face. I felt a little bit of her spit, but what was that compared to a night of pure foolishness? "You have six hours to pack, then we shall move back to my realm where I rule."

I stood up slowly, looking around my room. All I could think to pack was my laptop, camera, and an extra battery. Perhaps I should also bring a week and few days of clothes with me as well. I stopped just as I was halfway to the door as my stomach made a strange noise. "Well, I can have what I would like to bring with me in about three. Are you hungry?"

She nods and I think I see a smile. "I would like a carrot and if you have any banana flavored cake, that would be nice. Thank you...for offering..."

I find myself scoffing at her. "Like I'm going to leave a woman to go hungry. Give me hour to drive to the store, and get you what you'd like."

"That's fine with me." She replies, walking over to lay on my bed. "I shall remain here and wait for your return with my food."

" 'Kay, I'll try to hurry back. Don't want to leave your nation waiting."

As soon as I pull out of the drive way, memories of our encounter began to resurface.

As I walked into the club, I felt the heavy beats of the base dropping. I took a quick look around before finding the bar counter in the back left with the DJ stand on the right. With a pocket full of cash, I walked on over to the bar.

"What'd you want boy? Lemme' see your ID."

I pull my ID out with a sly grin. He takes a look at it in a brighter light, then gives it back to me with a small nod. "Just a light drink to loosen up please."

I thought for a moment he smiled. "Ight, I'll get you some Crystal Rum. That always loosen me up." He takes a bottle out from under the counter and pours a small glass. It wasn't a shot glass, but it still was pretty small. "Here ya' go. That'll be a seven point five."

I hand him eight dollars, but before he could give me my change, I hold my hand up. "Keep it as a tip." I say with a smile to him. He smiles back and continues his job.

My eyes follow him to a rather amazing looking woman. Her eyes were purple, magenta almost, and her hair was dyed green, purple and light blue. Her large round breasts nearly rested on the counter. She had a sad look on her face with a half empty glass of a darker brown liquid. I stand up and move closer to her, actually sitting next to her.

She looks at me with a weary eye, but I shake my head. "Don't want anyone taking advantage of a beautiful woman like you." I say. "Look behind you." While I was coming in I noticed that plenty of stalkers were looking at someone or something. It seems that she was the cause. "Most of them marked you as a target."

"To kill me?"

I shook my head. "No...no...Not to kill you, but to take advantage of you when you get drunk." I sighed and downed a little more than half my drink. "Woo!" I laugh. "That's actually pretty good! You got any root beer man!?" I ask the bar tender. He nods and slides over a glass bottle. I pour the contents into the glass and mix it with my finger.

"Why are you telling me this?" She asks.

"Because I've seen plenty enough of movies where a hot chick like yourself gets raped by like...what...? Six men? Eight or nine?" I shook my head once more, though this time more slowly. "Safety first. Walk out with me when you're finished, and you'll be fine."

She frowned and scoffed. "Then how come I can trust you?"

The bartender laughed and walked over to us. "Look at how white he is! He makes sour cream look tan!" The woman tried to stifle a laugh by covering her mouth. "Bet he's a momma's boy. All nice with perfect grades. Hey...I bet you even got a high pay'n job like a CEO or somethin' right?!"

I laughed back and pulled out my wallet. I show them my ID to get into Moogle's offices. "I'm a big 'ol nerd my lovely lady. No way I would have the guts or the strength to take you by force." I put my ID up and smiled at her. "So how 'bout it? Let you hang at my place?"

After much thought, she nodded. "Alright, thank you for your warning and protection. However, I don't have a place to stay for the night. My sister was supposed to pick me up, but it seems she...um...called me saying it won't be until tomorrow."

I chuckled with a blush, and I scratched the back of my head. "Well...I-I guess you can use my spare room. I don't use it..."

I shake away the memory. After a little less then an hour, I was on my way home with cake and a pile of carrots in my hands. That's when my phone began to ring again. While at the traffic stop, I pull the phone up and answer it. "Hello?"

"Oh good..." Shit...I mentally sighed to myself. "Did you...get my message Chris?"

"Yeah, I got it." I reply as the light turns green. "I'm sorry to say though I have a plane to catch. Got a meeting with an executive administrator in Canada. Somethin' about working with a group up there trying to stop some Chinese hackers." I'm not a great lier, but my dad is a total moron. Because of my position, I have a thinker wall and a smaller hole through my lie for him to find.

He sadly sighs over the phone. "A-alright man...um...I'm sorry."

"I know you are, but that doesn't change who've I become because of you." I say harshly before hanging up the phone and putting it aside while pulling up to my home. Although before leaving my car, I thought about why I haven't even driven off yet, leaving Celestia behind. What about about just

I walked through my door to my home and see Celestia was sleeping peacefully on my bed. While I hated having the idea of waking her up, it needed to be done. So I woke her up as gently as I could, fearing I would be torn apart by her. She thanked me once again, and watched as I walked in and out of the room several times as I gathered my few belongings. I was never the one to own more than what I needed rather than what I didn't need. Never bought more than the food I needed including snacks, and only had a few games on my laptop that I could use to pass my time while I waited for the next day. It was boring I know, but I hated having too much of something and not use it. Like why would one man own two cars? I only had a simple truck and a simple two bedroom house. I mean, I did live alone.

Celestia made comments about my abode, recognizing fully that it looked very much like a bachelor pad, and it was one. I wanted to get my life in a good spot before I would even think to start dating. I had only just finished collage last year with a doctorate. Well, I guess I made my goal then. I've also ruined my future goal to get my own love life started with a horse. Now that I think about it, it wasn't as bad as I thought.

In the spare room, just down the hall from the master room, I...I take a little time to think about what exactly I've done.

I've ruined a life, or most likely had ruined her life by joining her in the creation of life. I uh....I fucked up pretty hard, and I guess now I'm paying for it. It all just seems so unreal to me, that I would have a talking horse that happened to be a ruler of a land, crash through my door and tell me she's pregnant, and I'm the father.

"God dammit....ma' would kill me if she found out..." I look up into no where. "Ma, I'm so sorry that I fucked up. Please, just kill me, maybe this'll all end soon, and I won't have to deal with this." I was given nothing, but it was more of a reply than most would think it would be.

Standing up, ready to take on my new punishment with my stuff in tow, I make my way over back to the master bedroom. Celestia glances at my stuff in two large bags.

"Are you ready to go?" She asks me.

I sighed, taking one last look around my bedroom I had spent many years in alone. "Ready as I'll ever be..." I sounded rather exasperated, and I had every reason to be. I was being forced into another world with only a few hours to gather.

Celestia moved off the bed and looked at me. "Whatever happens to you, I am sorry. I am unsure how the portal will effect you."

"Why are you sorry about a guy who took advantage of you?" I asked her with a little anger towards myself in my voice. "Chances are we were both drunk!"

"I cannot get drunk Chris." She sighed. "I believe it was how safe I felt that night. I was worried, hoping the Wills above would help me." Celestia gave me this saddened look, then looked at my bedroom's mirror. "This'll work fine." Using her horn which started to glow a bright yellow, she touched the glass. As soon as it made contact with the glass, it warped like a stone being dropped into a small pond. The ripples seemed to extend outward and touch the walls around it. With a last look at me before she jumped in I was left to be in awe at the sight.

"Well....here I go..." I sighed, jumping after her.
