"It's Yours..."
Well...That was fun Eh?
Previous ChapterNext ChapterI don't know when, and how, but at some point I fallen asleep. My body felt numb everywhere, and as I grew more aware, I realized something. I was in a hospital. The beeping sounds of the monitors gave me a clear indicator. I can't remember what happened at the castle. One moment I'm taking the Crusaders to the volt, the next, I'm here.
"He's coming to." A deep voice said, but somehow it was a female. "Christopher Robins? Can you hear me?"
And the headache coming along with it. "Y-yeah..." My eyes slowly opened up. I was greeted by the sight of a tall black pegasus mare, but she had bat wings. Next to her was Luna, wearing a darker blue armor that just made her look really evil. "Is this Hell?"
Luna sighed and nodded to the mare. "I shall take my leave then. Good morning to you both, I'm going to sleep."
Luna looks back at me, her look thoughtful. "Do you remember what happened at our old castle Christopher?" She asked, taking a seat near my bed. She continued to lay her eyes on me, it was like she was studying me. When I shook my head no, she heaved out another sigh and nodded. "We assumed as much. You have done something no mortal without magic has done. You saved the lives of three fillies from a hoard of demented and tortured spirits. Not only that, but you have also sent them to the other side in the process. You took a massive amount of spiritual energy that could have sent you raving, but you held onto your sanity...Or...Perhaps was it what was left of it?"
"My family has a history of being spiritual mediums. My mother was a class two mental medium while she believed that I was a class one physical medium." I explained. "I must have been possessed if I cannot remember that."
"You were." She nodded in agreement. "Over sixty souls somehow manifested inside of you, taking control over everything. I had to get one of my Nuns to release them. With no where to connect them, they simply moved on."
I looked away from her for a little while, thinking deeply. "And what about the Crusaders? How'd I save them?"
She chuckled and shook her head. "They all have a story to tell, each one different, and more extreme than the last. Sweetie Belle said your sword began to glow like our sister's sun and you attacked a golum. Scootaloo speaks of two wings, both different like the day and night pegasi, and then you flew up into the sky and dropped the golum. Apple Bloom's story is more believable. She said that you shoved your sword into the golum's animation core, then it exploded sending you flying into a wall."
"All sound like it wasn't me. I don't know much about golums aside from playing a modded game and what Twilight had taught me."
"Modded game? A video game?"
"Y-yeah, it's called Minecraft, I had a mod to it that added golums to it, along with a bunch of arcane voodoo shit."
Luna snarled at the mention of voodoo. "I hate that art of foul magic. It has an awful taste in the mouth. But if you speak of the Thaumaturgy, we speak it well."
"Like I said Luna, it was a game, nothing more. Were they hurt, like...at all."
Luna thankfully shook her head. "No, they were left unharmed."
"How come I don't remember a thing?"
"You had two very large concussions in your head and the medication we used will also help with that." She stood up and got closer. "What you did, will not be forgotten. Think of this as your video games Christopher. Earn my reputation, and you will no longer be on my bad side."
"Haven't I done enough?" I asked, feeling a slight pressure in my skull. I rubbed it gently until the pain went away.
"No until you marry my sister, will you even be closer than exercising you for saving the lives of three fillies. They are my closest friends, and I thank you for saving them by aiding you." Luna smiled softly. "I wish to understand you a little more each day. You are like a foe no other. You have only attacked out of self defense. The Crusaders spoke of you trying to persuade the golum while the spirits were inside it."
"That was a pain in of it's own it sounds." I scoffed. "I talked to a bunch of rocks by the sound of it."
"Yes, the golum was made of stone." The clock on the wall chimed and she sighed softly. "You have done well. Truce? For the sake of my sister and your child's mother. We know how you feel about family. They...they told me much of what you spoke to them about. You left quite the mark on them. They're still in that stage of life."
I nodded. "Still learning, still imprinting, still adjusting."
"You think like a machine I've noticed."
"Gotta keep what I say in my thoughts, every action I make, it makes so many thoughts of what would happen from exactly that point. I'm...not exactly sane either."
"Those of us who know much are twisted in their own ways." She giggled. "I must be going. You'll be back on your feet in a few days."
"Good...I don't think I can sit still for much longer than a week." I shuttered at the thought. I'm ADHD, I need to move... "I guess it's a truce then. I'm sorry I hit you."
Suddenly she blushed and nodded meekly. "Y-yes...We accept." Like that, she left my room, leaving me alone with nothing except beloved machines near me. "Oh....the sounds of the modern world..." I moaned, closing my eyes and thinking back to when I broke my legs when my father hit me with his car.
It was a rough day I suppose. It was dark and I was going on a walk. When he turned the corner, he was going really fast. was lucky even to be alive. I was in the hospital in critical condition for three months. Everything was pretty much broken, and they kept saying someone up stairs had their eye on me. It was either that or no one wanted me.
Now that I think about it, was mostly my fault. I should have worn reflectors or something brighter than a black coat. I had to stop thinking, but the pain I was feeling kept me from fully drifting off. I heard the quiet beeps of the monitor and the IV dripping pushing more fluids into my body. A flash of memory made it look like my old hospital room. I even saw my mother reading on the chair on the far end of the room. I felt my heart skip, and the monitor had to do a double take on my heart.
They must have seen them. Everyone seeing the scars on my chest. There was an "X" on my chest were my heart was, or well...My second heart anyways. Lower was a scar where my appendix was. I just hope d they didn't look at my back. I clamped my eyes shut more. No...
STUPID! *Crack* STUPID! *Crack*
beep-beep-beep-beep! The machine blared out. The door was what caused me to get shaken out of my memories. A waved of doctors flooded the room in a loud panic. I shoved them back with a hand, and coughed. After another hour they finally left me be.
I left my eyes open, knowing full well that this was going to be a sleepless night.
Celestia peered into Chris's room. It was in the middle of the night, and he was sound asleep. Doctors were asked by him to be put under with some medications to help him sleep, his excuse was insomnia. She was left in wonder of how he managed to survive, making her just feel on edge. He made no sense whatsoever. He did things she did not expect out of someone who was pulled from their home. Luna claimed that she looked deep into Chris' mind only fining absolute hate for his own kind.
How someone could be xenophobic to their own kind left her in a spin. Her whole motto was love and tolerate. How he managed to survive so long hating his own race baffled the solar diarch. She was supposed to know almost everything there was to know, but now she was left in a wake of questions for Chris.
"You keep staring at him like that, he might wake up." A familiar voice rang out. Celestia turned around, her face filled with a young and lush pink face. "Hello auntie! How are you? More importantly, how's your baby?"
Celestia smiled and hugged the smaller pick alicorn mare. "Hello Cadence. You seem well."
"You don't. Worried about the human?"
"I just found out he hated his own kind not to long ago, he saved the lives of three fillies. and I don't know what he is other than just a human." Celestia sighed, then she smiled. "Bravery like his is almost unnatural."
"He's filled with hate yes, but not to the brim." Cadence said. "He's the perfect representation of loyalty, just like Rainbow Dash. A thousand years I spent asleep, woke up to much change." She sat down and closed the door to the room Chris slept in. "I can tell very well what he plans once he wakes. He's going to try to love you, will you return it?"
Celestia gave a hesitant nod. "Yes but his mind is as dirty as a public restroom." Cadence gave a shudder and pinched her eyes shut. "But I suppose I should."
Cadence gave Celestia a rather annoyed looked. Being the Princess of Love, it was her thing to know how a pony felt towards another pony. Chris was filled with hate, filled with undying rage for a pony he was supposed to love. She knew almost everything about him just feeling his lingering emotions. He was like a twister, uncontrolled force of chaos. He needed somepony to love and somepony to love him. That she knew most of all.
"I know that look Cadence. Don't worry. I shall give him a chance."
"Give him many, give him all that he needs to realize that he's changed." Cadence spoke then turned away. "I'm going to go see my husband then take the next train to Ponyville. I wanna see Twilly again."
Celestia gave a hug to Cadence and she left her alone. Back again, Celestia looked into Chris' room. He was still sleeping soundly. A bit of chaos scared her earlier when a few doctors had to put him into a deep sleep. He had a pained look on his face despite being asleep. It was painful to look at him for too long. Luna was right.
Humans have the Eyes of War.
And she was worried. She had every right to be worried. She spent a thousand years trying to keep the peace with every other nation in Equis. Most of the time she got really close to war and ever witnessed a three hour war between the Yaks and her former student. The 'Eyes of War' was a term to describe those who had a far off look in their eyes. Always looking out to as far as their eyes could see. From a quick talk with Twilight, he suffered from a multitude of years of abuse from his father, leaving him somewhat shy and departed.
It angered her some. With such a soul like Chris', it was terrible what he went through.
"The scars..." Almost in a second she teared up, finally putting two plus two together. "By the wills...And you are so kind."
Celestia stood up, ready to leave the hall she sat in for more than a couple hours. She felt the sun calling to her. It was time to get ready for the new day.
Author's Note
*sigh* It was a long day for me yesterday. I had a lot to do, and getting this job at DQ has got me in a bit of a pinch. Nearing the first quarter of the current arc. Plenty more to go for sure. I suppose it'll be roughly another two weeks before the next chapter will be up. Trying to take it slow so I'm not worried all the time about trying to please all you guys.
101 followers. You guys are simply and truly amazing to have. I'm a terrible writer with an editor that lives in Brazil. I'm not complaining though. I like how I write, people always talking. I find dialogue more interesting than long drawn out paragraphs.
Oh and sorry for no kinkyness this chapter. I had to rewrite it after my brother went in and deleted a few chapters I had wrote out. Sucks. So things will be slow while I try to recover what I lost.
Also, what are your thoughts? What do you all think will happen in the coming chapters? I already know of course, just wondering what you all think will happen down the road.
Plus, ytops!
