Trance of the Soul.

The sun basked me in its warming light as I made my way over another green, sunlight reflecting, glowing hill. As I swung my body from side to side, the wind flew around me, enhancing the feeling I was already so familiar with. While the smooth grass brushed my crimson-red coat, my ears were greeted by entrancing beats and magnificent vocals from mares as their soft voices were combined perfectly with the music in the background. I tapped the soft ground lightly with my hooves with each beat, and made a tiny jump while throwing one of my legs out as the bass combined with the first beats and vocals.

I stopped on what felt to me like the top of the small hill. I opened my eyes and I was greeted with an amazing view over a wide open field which went on for miles, with a small town in the far distance on the blue horizon. As the wind blew past me, the almost endless seeming grass field waved, making it look like they were dancing on the music I was listening to.

I bopped my head on the Trance beats as they continued to please my ears with their soft upcoming tones, strong bass, amazing rhythms and angelic voices. I moved my left hoof up to my left ear and moved the left ear piece from my MB headphones off of my ear, and placed it delicately on my neck while my right ear was continuously greeted with the soft vocals that came and went as the music progressed.

I channeled a bit of magic into my horn as I focused on a small piece in my left saddlebag. Feeling the object being grabbed into my magical grip, I lifted it slowly out of its small pouch and hovered it in front of my muzzle. In my grip I had a new 'Equestrian Magic Player 2', stuffed till capacity with some of the best and most feeling enhancing Trance you could think of. As I held it in front of me, I brought my right hoof to the small device and tapped it lightly. The screen lit up, and my brown eyes searched the little screen for the music name. I spotted the name where it was always displayed, on top of the screen, above the 'pause/play' button and the 'rew/skip' buttons. Reading the name off of the screen, it read 'EQVT-Vol. 5.'

As the music timer on screen reached the '48:32' mark, I decided that it would be nicer to listen to an another volume. I tapped the 'ffw' button and the music stopped for a moment, after a few seconds the screen lit up again with a different track playing, reading 'EQVT/VimH-Vol. 70.'
The music began to play, starting with upbuilding small tones, guided by a soft, angelic, mare voice in the background. As the beats came in I swayed my tail side to side and I bopped my head on the fine beats as they were building up.

I turned the volume up and floated my EMP2 back into ints proper place in my saddle bag, and released the magical grab by letting out the magic in the form of two small threads of red and golden colors. I followed the streaks with my eyes as I let it flow out of my horn, while bopping my head again to the music as the two streams of colors went up into the air, mixing in with the clear blue sky, giving the air a sense of that you would be dreaming, as the colors moved in waves like the music that was entering through my ears. I looked with a sense of joy as the waves mimicked every little sound that ventured into my ears. When the beat went faster, the golden wave began to increase in up and down flows. When the high tones began to set in, the red wave of magic began to bounce from one side to the other. That, together with the blue sky in the background, made the music feel all the more magical.

The waves felt almost alive as I cut off the energy and watched as the still swirling gold and red waves slowly disappeared, like the northern lights on the poles, while they kept twirling on the beats I was listening to as they faded. I watched as the magical light disappeared into tiny twinkling stars as they danced though the air, right on cue as the music overlapped with the next song. Bringing my left hoof back up to my left ear piece, I picked it up from my neck and placed it comfortably back on my left ear. With the new music beginning to flow into my body, I began to freely swing my whole body from side to side as I began to make my way down the hill.

As I trotted down the hill, I timed my pace with the music that was playing and entering my soul, shaking me to the core, filling me with energy as the music quickened its pace. As the music's pace went up, so did my speed, I went from trotting into a full gallop as the music reached its peak. My hooves seemed to have a life of their own, if the music's pace went slower, so did I. If it sped up, so did I as well. I was lost in the celestial flow of vocals combined with the soft bass behind the voices, while the sun basked onto me, warming my coat pleasantly.

I stopped after an unknown while of moving, only due the fact that the music had a small stop in them for track change. As I came out of the Day-dreamscape, I noticed that in front of me was a river about ten-meters wide. The music started up again, this time the track opened with the harmonious tones of a far away sounding piano. I closed my eyes and swayed my head slowly from left to right as I routed the energy through my body, and focused it into my horn, making it glow in a soft golden hue. The electrical notes came fusing in with the piano's soft notes and the beats began to settle into their rhythm. I focused my magic onto the river and felt as the music guided my thoughts onto how to cross the river, so I made small musical notes appear, I conjured more notes and more, until the music made me feel that their would be enough to cross the river.

Without opening my eyes, I stepped forward. I felt my right hoof moving away from the ground as I stretched it towards the river. I could feel the refreshing, cold, glistering water welcoming me as I touched its surface. Taking in the welcoming feeling, I fully placed my hoof down onto the shallow water. As my hoof rested onto what felt like the ground, I moved all my hooves onto its surface with a small jump, just as the melody began to quicken its pace. As I stood there, I could feel that my hooves were all about maybe two centimeters into the invigorating water that gently flowed past my hooves. I opened my eyes and glanced about calmly, I was pretty much standing on water. As I looked down, I saw that I was standing on a submerged, gold glowing, quaver. I smiled at it as the note gently floated under my hooves. As my ears felt the music again, I tapped my left hoof lightly onto the note, making it shine as my hoof touched it. The note shone an even brighter light when I tapped with both my left and right hoof onto it. It almost felt like the note was giving me more reason to continue with listening to the enchanting music as it filled me once more with vigor and energy.

My mane, tail, and coat wavered as the wind brushed past me, following the river stream down to a dense looking forest. I noticed the winds direction changed just as the music began flowing into a explorational rhythm. I nodded to myself as I closed my eyes again, and skipped from the quaver, over to where felt like the next note would be. The explorational rhythm fused with small beats as I landed onto an another energetically filled surface. Opening my eyes once more, I looked down and found that I was standing on a golden note head, which was attached to a small stem with a thicker beam above it. The beam merged with another small stem on the other end, which ended into a similar golden note head that flowed to my right.

I felt the note flow with magical energy as it moved through my hooves and into my body, in harmony with the Trance that was entering my ears.
The music held me in its grasp, not letting me go. I felt that the music was telling me to release the note that was trapped in place. So I stomped down with my right back leg as my head began moving in the sway of music. While I closed my eyes, I could feel the note under my hooves beginning to follow the river with me standing on it, and the remaining of magical notes disappear. The movement of the river and the note flowed together with the music, giving the best feeling anypony could imagine. As my body moved on its own, I let the river and music guide my way down as I was simply swinging my body in its unyielding grip.

I could feel the note heads lit up with every hoof stomp or jump, as I bounced from one note head to the other. The music that was bringing me into a state of trance, filled me with bliss as the river brought me closer to the dense forest. The magical note under my hooves, filled them with a comfortable warmth as the tiny bit of water cooled my hooves down again, enhancing the come and go of the music as it went on.

The music began to take on a calm, and slow rhythm. Taking the music to heart, I stopped with the dancing on the note, and instead, gently sat down on it. As the softer tones entered my soul, I only swayed my head lightly from one side to the other. My tail was brushing lightly over the water as I sat on the note, bringing a slight chill over my spine, which went perfectly in sync as a long, and heavenly, note was played out.

I opened my eyes, and I was enchanted with a stunning sight. I had reached the forest in less time than I thought. As I looked around me, I saw all kinds of animals from throughout Equestria. Colorful Parasprites, a pair of beautiful Phoenixes with their young, more kinds of birds that I could ever hope to imagine as they soared around me and through the forest. Even a pack of Timber-Wolfs were laying on the riverbank, relaxing in the sunlight that slipped through the forest leafs-coverd roof. A giant bear was looking at me from his spot, not far from the Timber-Wolfs. I stared back at him with a smile on my muzzle. The music turned over to one of comfort and unwinding. I raised my left hoof up from the note head, and calmly waved at the bear, who gently nodded back at me and closed his eyes, and settled his chin onto his paws, as he too went back to relaxing in the sun.

I soaked in every bit of nature as I gently drifted down the stream, my magical music note every once in a while lightly illuminating the water around me, as it pulsed with its soft golden hue. I was taken by surprise, a tiny amount of weight suddenly could be felt on my horn. I glanced up to my horn, and was greeted by a set of chirps. A small, blue bird decided to accompany me down the river. His feathers were as blue as the sky, while the feathers at the end of its wings were emitting an amiable emerald green.

The bird chirped to me again. I gently chuckled at the little guy, "Hold on my friend."

I extended my right hoof, and I tapped my front leg with my left hoof. The bird glanced over to my extended front leg and then back to me. He chirped once more before flapping his graceful, teeny wings, and landed lightly on my right leg and turned his attention back to me. I swayed my body lightly as music tightened its grip around me again. I directed my magic into the tip of my horn, and let out small streaks of gold, which flowed down in front of me and onto the note. From the note, formed a small tree-looking like energy. As I stopped the energy flow from my horn, I held my left hoof in front of the blue bird, to which he skipped softly onto. I slowly brought the little guy to the magical bird stand, where he cheerfully jumped onto, and settled in between the magical leafs.

I beamed at the little guy, as he seemed most peaceful on top of the enchanted little tree. The entrancing beats began to lead one another into a cheerful rhythm. At the same time, two more birds came into view as I gently swayed my body from left to right. These appeared to be friends with the blue little bird, as the one in front of me started chirping joyfully at the other two. A slightly bigger, red bird came hovering next to the blue little one, which was still enjoying the magical leafs he was resting on. The two seemed to have some kind of conversation in front of me. I didn't mind them, as the music was overtaking my train of thoughts, to a far better destination than simple questioning. As the two birds stopped with chirping to one another, they both looked to me. I simply nodded to the little red bird, to which he nodded back at me, and settled next to his blue friend onto the magical golden tree.

As the second birdie settled next to the first one. The red bird showed slight confusion before relaxing and taking on the same peaceful pose as his blue friend. The last bird, ironically, a green one came flying next to them, to which the two settled birds began chirping at him as well. Same as before, I nodded to the green bird, and he settled next to the red one, contentment radiating off of their features.

I channeled gentle magic into my horn, and focused on sharing the music softly from that point. As my magic gathered, the birds looked to my horn with confusion. I gently smiled back at them, while swaying my body from left to right and back. The energy in my horn began to pulse, and letted out small vibrating waves, creating the Trance music that I was hearing through my ears, and emitting the soft tunes into the environment. With each pulse, the air around me glowed with a golden tinge with tiny red dots that flew around in the glow, the circle of light reached out until the riverbanks.

The three little birds seemed to really enjoy their new resting spot, especially with the golden orb we resided in with gentle waves of Trance emanating from the tip of my horn. The little guys enjoyed the feeling were I, once more, were already familiar with. But for them, this should be an entirely new experience. But seeing them in this state of trance, made me realize, that they indeed loved it. They even swung their tiny heads a little with every pulse of golden light.

As the mare in the music began to sing, I could not help but open my mouth and sing silently with her. No words were leaving me, but the sense of chanting with the mare that was blessing my ears with her calm and luscious voice, was all the reason I needed to move my muzzle silently, mimicking her chants.

"It is a time of delight,~"
"It is a time of delight,~"

I sang with the vocal reciting mare, just as a light breeze swept past me.

"But arts seems heaven,~"
"But arts seems heaven,~"

I opened my eyes and glanced up as we both sang, and I peeked past the elegant looking forest-roof leafs, straight up into the sky, where a few fluffy clouds were drifting on their own, letting the ever-so vibrant sun touch me with its warm and comfortable beams of light.

"When you are talking strange words,~"
"When you are talking strange words,~"

I looked back to the three little birds in front of me, beaming as they seemed to hear the angelic voice as well, and glanced back up to me, looking as happy as they have ever been.

"Should be simple, Yeah! It should be simple!~"
"Should be simple, Yeah! It should be simple!~"

I charged my horn with magic, and letted it out in gentle colored streaks, blue, red, gold, green, purple and orange. The three little guys in front of me followed the energy with their eyes as it softly flowed out of the tip of my horn and began to circle around me, changing the golden orb that was still around us into a shining globe with dancing streaks of different colors.

"Should be simple, why can't it be... Simple,~"
"Should be simple, why can't it be... Simple,~"

I guided the magical colors back to the tip of my horn, and combined them into one streak. As the colors gathered, the vocals grasped me, and I let out the magic in one go, creating a sparkling rainbow that shot out of my horn and past the top of the trees, into the blue sky.

"If I switched the switch, and I illuminate!~"
"If I switched the switch, and I illuminate!~"

As the rainbow surged into the sky, the bass overwhelmed my senses, and I let the rainbow gather itself in the air, letting it become a sphere of colors. As the beat dropped, I separated my connection with the sphere. It imploded on itself, and send out a soundless golden ring of light, which expanded in every direction, with the sun in the middle of the ever-expanding ring of musical gold.

"Huh, my own 'soundless' sonic-boom," I said to myself as I watched the sky lit up with the shiny golden color that the ring left behind.

I moved my attention away from the sky as the ring of light faded, and back on the river. As the music slowed its rhythm down, I had the feeling that I had reached my stop. I stopped the pulsing magic that was still sending waves of vibrating air from my horn, and gathered the energy back into it, stopping the orb of light and red sparkles I and the birds resided in. With my left hoof I gently paddled the water, guiding the floating note to the right riverbank. The magical note softly bounced against the sand as it reached the side of the river. I stood up and, with a little skip, landed with my hooves on the soft grass.

The note began to lose its glowing light, and began to fade, together with the tiny bird tree that I conjured up for my friends. The three little birds, at noticing me hop off of the floating note, extended their wings and flew up into the air. I followed with my eyes as they smoothly glided through the air, and touched down on a small branch in a healthy looking tree. They watched me with curious looking eyes as I swayed my head calmly on the Trance music.

The music turned into an uplifting rhythm, sending me an unheard message, that it was time to proceed with my unplanned wandering. Glancing back at the river, I saw that the note had fully disappeared. Nodding to myself, I turned my muzzle back to the birds, and gave them a gentle nod with my head, to which they dipped their heads lightly. Satisfied with our farewells, I turned my body with a light swing of my head to the right, and began making my way to where it felt like the music wanted me to go.

As I began to make my way through the forest, I tapped my hooves every once in a while on the beats of the music. I ventured onwards with the soothing vocals, entrancing rhythms and uplifting beats into the unknown. My horn began to softly glow as I once again gathered my magic in its tip, but instead of letting it out through it, I letted it flow gently across my body, down to my hooves, filling them with a pleasant, warm feeling.

The magic was gathered. All the music wanted me to do now was wait. I heard the music built up to its peak, the vocals of the mares slowly fading away into the rhythm of the Trance. As the music neared its highest point, I stopped swinging my body to it, and got into pouncing position. The music dropped, I jumped into the air together with the music as it did, landing on my hooves and unleashing the magic that I collected in them. A non-violent blast of golden magic erupted from underneath me when I landed, shaking the air and ground lightly as the magic surged from under my hooves. A golden circle spread out in every direction, and after the first one, a red circle of magic broke out from under my hooves in the same manner, lightening up the forest floor with at first golden light, and then an illuminating red.

I began to walk again as the rings left me and lighted up the forest in a dreamy way. Trees shined shortly a bright color of gold or red as the rings vibrated past them, and made small rings that slide to the top branches with the respective color of the ring that flowed past its roots. All around me, trees were blinking shortly a celestial gold, or fiery red, all on the beat of my hooves. Every time I set one of my hooves down, a small golden circle would appear, making every hoofstep a melodic beat of its own.

I opened my eyes after an untold amount of time, and noticed that I was closing in on the border of the forest by the sunlight that was creeping past the dense tree line. I looked down when I felt no more grass or dirt under me, and was instead greeted by a slightly overgrown, cobblestone path. I followed it up with my eyes to the end of the woods, where the sunlight beamed through the openings between the thick willows. I stopped the magical waves that my hooves were creating with each step, and instead focused the magic back into my horn, and let out a few red, twinkling, stars. And made them light up the path like a road along a park that was being illuminated by streetlights.

Each tiny red star took a spot along the path, with a small gap between each other, sending out small pulses of vibrations as I walked past them. I trotted while bopping my head to the trance music and the magic pulses of the red stars, closing off all of my other sense, except my hearing and feeling.

The forest opened up with the sun greeting me fully upon passing the forest edge. As I glanced about with my headphones gracing me with music, I saw that I had arrived in a peaceful town. Looking to my right, I noticed a sign: Welcome to Ponyville!

"Hello, Ponyville. I don't know why I'm here, but I'm sure I'll have a great time while I'm here."
