Big Al was walking to school with Rainbow dash, he usually paid attention to her as she talked with him. Today was one of the unusual days, Al had a big question on his mind that drew his attention away from Rainbow. He was pondering questions about the portal he came through. How could there be a portal leading to another universe if there wasn't a portal frame to keep it stable? People may not know it, but Al was a genius at mathematics. He ran complex calculations in his head, there were a few things that didn't add up. For one, the portal was a three demential sphere. Yet the portal appeared flat, like paper that always faces you. It would appear like that from any angle, so that must mean it's a sphere. But then why did it appear like a flat circle suspended in the air?

In his deep thought, he didn't realize that they had arrived at the high school. Today was sort of like a field day for the school, so him and Rainbow dash would have plenty of time to do what every they wanted. They were walking towards the soccer field, when they were called by a familiar voice. The voice had a southern accent and didn't sound as high pitched as most of the other girls.

"Hey you two! Wait for us!"

"Hurry up you guys! We don't have all the time in the world!" Rainbow dash exclaimed. Al's mind locked onto one word out of her whole sentence, time. He thought for a second or two, trying to think of why it was so important to his issue. then it hit him like a freight train moving at one hundred miles per hour, perhaps his portal he came through was a time portal. In the pain he felt going through that portal, he forgot one thing that was present. The sound of static, like the kind a radio gives off when you hit a station that no one is using. But there was a one difference, the static sounded like it was made up of a bunch of different sound effects. Almost like all of history was screaming at you. But if it was a time portal why wasn't there a paradox? We're his remains never found, or did the universe adapt to the sudden change? He could try to find out, but that would require him to be in a human body. He thought for a second, he knew how to use a mouse and key board. Using the key board would be slow, he only had three fingers so he'd have to 'hunt and peck'. He gave Rainbow some hints through his body language, he was trying to tell her he would be in the library.

"Huh? You what to go to the library alone? Well, ok. But be back when you finish!" Rainbow dash said.

Al found his way to the library in a short amount of time. the real challenge was yet to come, Opening the door. The library doors needed to be pushed in wards, the doors tried to shut themselves due to a spring loaded door closer. Al pushed and pushed, he though he was as awesome as the hulk pushing a building. But in reality, he looked incredibly stupid. He could barely get the door to open a centimeter. lucky for him, the school teacher/school librarian miss cherilee noticed his struggle. She opened the door for him and kept it propped open so he could get out.

Al went to work on making a blue print for a machine, he used a few different programs to get the blue print right. He worked diligently for a few hours until he had finally finished. He printed the paper and had miss cherilee bundle it together with a rubber band. He took it to a man who he knew would be able to make it, time turner. Some liked to call him doctor hooves as a kick name, but most called him by his official name.

"How can I help you good sir?" Time turner asked. Al handed him the rolled up piece of paper.

"A rapid mutation machine? My, why would you need that?" Time tuner questioned. Al looked at the diagram of the human body on the wall next to him. Time turner looked at what the raptor found so interesting, his eyes fell opon the diagram.

"Ah, I see. You want to turn your body into a human one. Well, I'll start working on this right away. It should be ready in three to five days, I'll call Rainbow dash asking for you when it's done." Time turner said. The raptor befor him nodded and walked out the door.

"What a lovely young fellow, I never thought I'd say that about a dangerous animal." Time turner said to him self.

Al spent the rest of the day with Rainbow dash and his friends. He pulled rarity aside and handed her a piece of paper, it was asking for custom clothes. The list read: "a pair of caky jeans. a long sleeve, button up red plad shirt. A white T-shirt. A set of boxer briefs and a pair of socks. The final thing on the list was a pair of black boots." Beside each item was the dementions of the garment. Rarity looked at him after reading the list.

"I'll get right on it darling" she said in a whispered tone.

The next three days went by as normal, the girls go to class while he just wonders the halls. He got called to the main office in the middle of the day on the third day. Apparently it was from time turner, principle celestia handed him the phone.

"It's for you." Celestia said. She held the phone to his ear hole.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" The voice was time turners. He hissed into the phone, just so time turner would know who it was.

"Ah, yes! Al, I'm calling to inform you that the machine is up and ready to go. You can come by and use it when ever you feel like. Hiss if you understand." Al hissed again.

"Alright then, I will see you when you decide to come by and use it. Good bye! [beep]" time turner hung up the phone. Al stepped back from the phone. celestia knew that meant the call was over, she hung up the phone and waved to al as he walked out of the room. He needed to get to the library and type a message for the six girls. He had fourth five minutes to do this, that would be just enough time. He typed at his usual pace and had the paper printed as the bell rung. He walked right to the front doors and waited for Rainbow dash and the others. Rainbow dash spotted him and the six girls walked up to him. Al handed rainbow the peace of paper. She began to read the note.

"Please read aloud. I want you all to come to time turners workshop at four o'clock pm, I have a surprise for you. Rarity, I need you to bring those clothes I asked you to tailor. I will meet you all there." Rainbow and the others looked at the paper and looked at al. They shrugged at one another.

"We'll be there sugar cube." Applejack said.

Al started walking towards time turners shop.

The time was now four o'clock and everyone was at time turners workshop. They tried to ask al what this was about but time turner would chime in with 'it's a surprise'. Time turner finally revealed the machine, the six girls just starred at it as al walked inside.

"Hey, what is that going do to?" Rainbow asked.

"Don't worry, it's harmless." Time turner said while punching in variables on a touch pad. The machine started making a weird noise, Rainbow was getting a little uneasy but she held it together. After about a minute the machine made a ding and the doors opened. A thick white mist filled the inside of the machine. Time turner grabbed a towel and handed it to Al, who was still hidden from view. Suddenly a man with a towel around his waist stepped out. He had long, straight, brown hair that came down to his shoulders. His skin was a light shade of peach. He wasn't much taller that the girls were. His eyes were a vibrant shade of dark blue.

"Ladies, I give you the new and improved, Al." Time turner said. Al coughed to clear his throat.

"You can just call me John now." Al said. The girls sat there with their mouthes wide open. Al or.... Uh... John, walked up to the girls.

"Rarity, uh, I'm gonna need those clothes you made." John said. Rarity picked up the stack of hand made clothes and handed it to John.

"The men's room is right around the corner there." Time turner said. John walked to the bathroom with only a towel on as if it was the easiest thing he'd ever done. After a few minutes John walked out of the bathroom. The girls looked at him in his new attire and gave there own mark of approval. For Applejack that mark of approval was taking off her Stetson and giving a wolf whistle. Rainbows was a 'oh my gosh!'. Pinkie pie was just a cheerful 'wow!'. Rarity said 'it looks smashing on you darling.'. Fluttershy uttered a barley audible 'yay!'. Finally sunset shimmer gave her 'oh wow!'. John walked up to Rainbow dash with a smile. He stopped a foot away from her and cleared his throat.

"Well rainbow dash, I can finally talk with you rather than just listening all the time." Rainbow dash grinned at him and put her hands on her hips.

"I guess I have to help you enroll into the school, otherwise you can't be on school property during school hours." John blushed and put his hand on the back of his head.

"Yeah, sorry. I kinda forgot about that. But going through school shouldn't be to hard for me, I know most of the material already. Let's say we all go out to dinner and talk about this change then, sound like a plan?" John said. Everyone nodded and they started walking out the door.
