Haymaker Holly
Whenever you hear that bell go off with a ding, it sends chills down your spine. Excitement through your mind, and pumps your nerves up! The vibrations of each thrust and punch thrown at you makes you even more excited and ready for what may come next.
Will you get knocked to the floor? Will you get a chance to punch your opponent out? Will you lose your life with a fatal shot to the head by the opposing fighter? Those questions and more run through my head every time I enter that ring.
My name’s Haymaker Holly. You can just call me Holly. I’m a pro boxer of Equestria’s Female Boxing League. Or, The EFBL for short. I have over one hundred wins under my belt and I’m considered the best fighter the EFBL has to offer.
So in short, I’m kind of a big deal.
Why am I telling you this now? Well, a while ago, specifically, about a day ago, I fought another “famous” athlete. Her name was Rainbow Dash. But her fighting name was Rainboom Dash. Creativity children, she’s got it.
Why was I fighting her? Well, it started back when I was titled best fighter in the EFBL. So, about a month ago.
~***~
I was fighting another boxer named Knuckle Buster, she was a decent fighter if I had any word in it. Yeah, she was a sore loser but that’s hardly the point. She was fighting me for my championship title. The EFBL Champion, that’s what they called me.
I’ll give her credit, she gave the audience a show to enjoy. I mean, the ways he fell to the ground every time I would hit her in the jaw. Or anytime I’d punch her across the face, her blood would practically shower the front seat audience.
I’m assuming that you can guess what the outcome of the fight was.
That’s right, I beat the bitch down, it wasn’t all that hard. I defended my title, was cheered on by the audience, signed a few autographs, took a piss, and went to my locker room, where my manager, Slick Lips was waiting for me, with a newspaper in his orange hand.
“‘Sup Slick. What’s with the paper?”
“Holly, I’ve got some great news!”
“Shoot it to me doc. With the roll I’m on, I’m ready for anything!” I said, beginning to chug down a small bottle of vodka. I had to get my celebration started somehow!
“You’ve just been named best fighter in the EFBL! Holly, you’ve made the headlines of this weeks publish on Equestrian Sports in the Equestrian Daily!”
I’ll admit, I did let out a girly squeal which is highly unlike me. But, given the situation, I think I deserved to let out the 10 year old girl in me.
“You’re shitting me right Slick? If you are, I swear to Celestia I will break your jaw if you are!” I threatened.
“I promise Holly! Look!” Slick handed me the newspaper which I instantly began to read.
