//-------------------------------------------------------// Experience of Love -by Shigo96- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Promise //-------------------------------------------------------// The Promise Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze and Sonata Dusk, also known as "The Dazzlings" got defeated by the main six and Sunset Shimmer, known as "The Rainbooms". With the song the Rainbooms played, a huge white alicorn with a rainbow colored mane appeared and shot a rainbow at the Dazzlings which caused that they lost their powers and singing voices as their pendants broke. The Dazzlings ran off the stage as the crowd was booing and throwing food at them. Soon they arrived at their house which they bought a few years ago. Everybody had an own bedroom and bathroom, the house also contained a large living room and a kitchen. It was awkwardly silent between the Dazzlings as they went into their living room. Nobody spoke a word, they just stared at each other and on the floor until Adagio broke the silence. "I'll go to take a shower now and don't dare to disturb me," Adagio spoke up. "Okay, me too," said Sonata. "Whatever," Aria grumbled in an annoyed tone. After their shower they got rid of their stage outfits and changed into their normal clothes and went into the living room. Aria and Sonata sat on the couch next to each other as Adagio was pacing back and forth in front of them. "I can't believe it," Adagio spat through gritted teeth, "We were so close! We almost did it!". "What are we going to do now?" Sonata asked. "Are you kidding me, Sonata?!" Adagio hissed, "We lost our powers so we aren't able to do anything! And how dare you to ask what we are going to do?! This is all your fault, Sonata! If you'd spent more time on focusing on our plan we would've been successful! Aria was right all those years! You really ARE the worst!" Adagio screamed. Aria glared at Adagio as Sonata clenched her fists. "What?! Our plan?!" Sonata screamed which made Adagio and even Aria flinch. "Is that really her?" Aria thought to herself as she stared at Sonata with wide eyes. "How dare you to blame me for this?! I always did what you said, ALWAYS! I never did anything wrong! Besides, it wasn't our plan, it was only YOUR stupid plan so don't blame me for your failure!!" Sonata screamed in pure rage. Aria's eyes went wide again as she was quite impressed about Sonata raging like that. "Wow I never thought she'd dare to scream at Adagio like this," Aria thought to herself again. Adagio just stared at Sonata for a brief moment but soon found her voice again. "Be careful how you speak to me!" Adagio spat. "I speak to you the way I want and how you deserve it, bitch!" Sonata hissed as she gritted her teeth. "You better take that back you little-" "NO!" Sonata cut her off, "I have enough of you bossing me around and I'm tired of you treating me like a piece of shit!" she hissed. Adagio slowly stepped closer to Sonata and grabbed her by her shirt collar. Aria stood up from the couch as she noticed this. "Take. That. Back." said Adagio in a low tone. Normally Sonata would be too scared to say something by now. But this time, surprisingly, she wasn't. "No! I won't! And you know for yourself that this is the truth!" Sonata shouted. That pushed Adagio over the egde. She lifted her hand to slap Sonata but only found herself pinned against the wall by Aria. She stared at her with fear as she saw Aria's expression, she had nothing but hate and anger in her eyes. "Don't dare to try to hurt her ever again," said Aria in a low but very aggressive tone, "or I'll beat the crap out of you." she continued. "Y..y-you wouldn't," said Adagio with fear in her voice. "Oh yes I would and you know exactly that I will if you touch her," Aria replied as she stared deeply into Adagio's eyes. Sweat started to drip down on Adagio's face. She began to feel weird. She was afraid and confused. Confused because Aria and Sonata never dared to treat her like that before. After a minute, which felt like hours to Adagio, Aria released her and began to walk upstairs. "C'mon, Sonata," said Aria. "Um...o-okay," she stammered as she followed her. "Wait... I have a question, Aria." "What do you want now, cheese-head?" "Why do you protect that air-" she cut herself off as she thought about what Aria said to her a few minutes ago, "I mean, Sonata?" "Because..." Aria hesitated for a moment, "Because I'm a person who can keep a promise," she finished. When Sonata heard that, her eyes went wide. "What is she talking about?" "What are you talking about? Which promise do you mean?" Adagio wanted to know. "That's none of your concern." Aria replied as she and Sonata went upstairs and into their bedrooms. Adagio just stood in the floor and wondered about "the promise" which Aria mentioned. She knew that Aria wouldn't tell her anyway so she decided to shrug it off for now. Aria slumped onto her bed and sighed, "What the fuck was that?" she asked herself. She took her headbands off and changed into her pajamas. After that she went to sleep. Well, she tried to but she couldn't because she felt bad, very bad. She felt guilty. Guilty about what she'd done but mostly about how she treated Sonata over centuries they lived together. Soon she snapped out of her thoughts as someone knocked on her door. "What is it?! It's open!" The door opened and Sonata peeked inside, "Ari? Can I come in?" she asked. "Oh, it's you. Sure, come in..." Aria replied. Sonata did so and slowly closed the door behind her. She sat onto the bed next to Aria as she noticed her expression. Her expression was angry and also sad at the same time. Sonata began to worry because she never saw Aria like this before. "A-Aria..?" Sonata hesitated, "Is something wrong? Are you okay?" "Yeah...Sure. Don't worry about me, I'm fine." "Are you sure?" Aria gave her an odd look but her eyes softened as she noticed that Sonata really seemed to be worried about her, "Yes, I'm fine". "Okay, if you say so." For a few minutes there was silence. They just sat on Aria's bed. Aria laid back and was staring at the ceiling while Sonata turned around a bit and stared at her. "Thank you, Ari." "For what?" Aria asked. "For protecting me always when Adagio tries to hurt me." "You're welcome. It's the least I can do after how I treated you over thousands of years and..." Aria hesitated before speaking again, "I'm sorry, Sonata. I know I said horrible things to you sometimes and believe me, I regret it." Aria finished her sentence. "It's okay. You're right, you got really mean sometimes but I always knew that I could count on you when I needed you. You were always there for me. Even if you didn't want to." "Do you really think so?" "Yes, Ari." said Sonata. Aria smiled softly at her and she returned it. "Should I ask her or not?" Sonata thought to herself. She really wanted to know what Aria was talking about when Adagio asked why she's always protecting her. "Can I ask you something?" "Sure, what is it?" "After Adagio asked you why you are protecting me you said that you are a person who can keep a promise. What did you mean with that?" Aria sat up again and looked into Sonata's eyes with a worried expression, "Do you really want to know this? It's quite a long story and it could be really distracting for you." "Yes, I want to know it. Please tell me, Ari." "Okay, you deserve to know it anyway but I warned you." Sonata nodded. "Do you remember the time before we met Adagio?" "Yes, you were always happy before we met her!" Sonata squealed and grinned. "Yeah, I sure was. Anyway. It was a few days before your parents disappeared." said Aria. Sonata gasped slightly and her eyes went wide as she heard that Aria's "promise" had to do with her parents. She remembered that she was really sad that time because she never knew what happened to her parents. "I was visiting you that day. We had a lot of fun together. You were really exhausted that day so you fell asleep before dinner time. I was about to leave but your mother told me to stay a little longer because she wanted to ask me something. She told me that your parents hat to go on a "travel" and that it would take time. Then she asked me to keep an eye on you and take care of you. First I refused it because I didn't feel like I could take care of you. Then your mother told me that it'd only take a few weeks and she promised that they would come back. So I said yes. I promised that I'd take care of you as long as you stay with me. After that your parents told you that they'd go on a vacation and that they couldn't take you with them, that you have to stay with me for this time. The few weeks that your mother told me they would need turned into month and then into years. I began to think that they just wanted to get rid of you. And that made me angry. Really, really angry. And the worst of all: I took it all out on you. I think this is one of the reasons why I got grumpy and bitchy like you usually know me." A single tear slid down on Sonata's face, "Do you know where my parents went or what happened to them?" Sonata asked, her voice cracking. "Sadly no. The day where they brought you to my home was the last time I saw them. I really don't know where they are nor what happened to them." Sonata tried to hold back her tears but she couldn't. She started to sob uncontrollably and tried to hide her face behind her hands. Soon she felt a pair of arms wrapping around her shoulders. Aria pulled her in and hugged her tightly. She brought her arms around Aria's back as she returned the hug and buried her face into Aria's neck. Aria was wondering why she was doing this but she didn't care for now. She only wanted to comfort Sonata, "Why does it hurt so much to see her like that?" she thought do herself. "I'm so sorry, Sonata. I really wish I could tell you more but I can't." said Aria, as she began to gently stroke Sonata's hair. "Y-you don't have t-to be...*sniffle*...s-sorry. It isn't your f-fault." stammered Sonata as she took a deep breath. Aria wiped the tears from Sonata's face. After a half hour Sonata finally stopped crying but was still holding onto Aria because she felt good in her arms. "Ari?" "Yeah?" "Can I sleep here tonight? I...I-I don't want to be alone." "Sure." Sonata smiled at her widely, "Thanks, Ari!" she said in her usual cheerful voice. "No problem," Aria grinned, "do you want to cuddle?" she asked. "Wait, where the fuck did that come from?!" she thought to herself. "Yes," she said softly, "I want." "Okay then lets get some sleep, it's late." Sonata laid down next to Aria with her head resting on Aria's chest. Aria was gently stroking her hair again. She was wondering why she was doing this but on the other side she enjoyed it somehow. "Good night, Sona." "Thankies, good night to you too, Ari." They closed their eyes and drifted off to sleep immediatly and it was the first night since centuries that Aria slept with a smile in her face. Author's Note So, theres the first chapter of my first fanfic :D I hope you enjoyed it  https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/twilightsmile.png Please let me know if there are grammar issues or spelling errors, I'd really appreciate that. It was kinda hard for me to write because I'm german and I don't have experience on writing fanfics yet. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Offer //-------------------------------------------------------// The Offer Adagio laid in her bed thinking about what happened downstairs in the living room. She still couldn't believe that Sonata yelled at her and that Aria was able to creep her out like that despite nothing ever scared her. Well. Almost nothing. Sonata usually locked herself in her bedroom when there was trouble between the Dazzlings or when Adagio was yelling at her like usual. Adagio never expected a thing like that from her. It was more like Aria to yell when she's pissed, but Sonata? No. Not her. "What the hell was that? How dare she to even call me a bitch?!" Adagio mumbled to herself. It was silent while Adagio was staring at the ceiling for hours, lost in thoughts. That fight in the living room replayed over and over in her head. She began to feel weird. Really weird. "What if she's right? What if that is all my fault?" Adagio thought, "Wait, what?! What do I think?! It wasn't my fault! My plan was perfect but then there were those stupid Rainbooms and that stupid bacon-haired bitch!" she snapped as she clenched her fists. Somwhere deep inside herself she knew it. She knew that it was her plan which brought them to the human world. It also was her plan which caused them to loose their powers and their voices, she just didn't want to admit it considering she was the one who always made the plans and leaded the way. She was too proud and arrogant to admit that she was wrong. Inside herself she began to feel weird again. "What the fuck is that?" asked Adagio. It felt like falling off of a high cliff for her. Soon she felt something rolling down her face. Something warm and it was wet. She wiped it off and stared at it. "A tear? W-what the...where did that come from?!" Adagio thought to herself. She felt very bad. It was a mixture of sadness, fear and maybe even guilt but Adagio didn't know what that was because she never really had feelings as a siren. What she knew was that she wanted it to stop. Immediatly. "Maybe I should go out for a walk and get some fresh air," said Adagio to herself, "that should help to get my head free again." After a look at the clock she realized that it was morning already. "But first I should drink some coffee". As she finished sipping her coffee she wrote a note for Aria and Sonata and left the house. "Why did I do that? They wouldn't miss me if I'm gone..." _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ "Huh? Where am I?" muttered a half awake Sonata to herself, rubbing her eyes. Soon she realized that she was laying in Aria's arms. "Yeah, right. How could I forget?" Sonata asked herself and smiled widely at Aria who was still asleep. She got out of the bed and covered Aria with her blanket which was fallen onto the floor. After that she went to the kitchen and began to make breakfast and coffee as she noticed a note which was laying at the table. It said that Adagio went out for a walk. "Maybe she's up to something again." she mumbled to herself as she heard footsteps approaching the kitchen. "Good morning, Ari! Just in time," Sonata said cheerful, "breakfast is ready!". "Hey there, sounds nice." Aria replied. "Oh, and by the way, Adagio's out for a walk," said Sonata, pointing to the note which was on the table, "she left that note here". "So what? I don't care what she's up to." "Okay. Just wanted to tell you." "That wasn't necessary but thanks." "No problem!" They sat at the table in silence as they ate their breakfast. Sonata looked at Aria while Aria just stared down at the floor with a pretty confused expressoion. "Ari?" Sonata spoke up, "Something wrong? Did you have a nightmare?" she asked. "No. It's not that. I slept pretty well actually. I just feel weird." "Why? Are you sick?" "No, that's not it. Its just... I..." Aria took a deep breath, "I don't know how to explain that. Theres ... uh ... It's like an emptyness inside me as if a part of me is missing. I really don't know why I feel like that". "I know how you feel." "Really? So you know what's wrong with me?" "There isn't anything wrong with you. You just miss something." "Well, what is it? And how do you know?" "When my parents disappeared I felt the same way as you do now. Now I start to feel it again but not because of my parents. Maybe it's because we're human now. Human have feelings which we don't know yet because we were sirens until yesterday. A siren felt nothing except hate, anger and the deep desire for power." Aria sat there in silence as she gave Sonata a really confused look. "Did I say something wrong?" asked Sonata with worry in her voice. "No, it's just like a wonder to hear something like that from you. No offense," said Aria, "but what you just said makes sense to me somehow. How did you know all that?" "Maybe because I often watch those human movies?" "That could be possible." It was silent for a few minutes until Sonata spoke up again. "I think I have an idea." "And what is it?" "We could go back to that school and ask the girl who turned into a raging she-demon how she learned to live and feel like a human being." "Except that "going back to school" thing your idea sounds pretty good actually. But I don't think that she'd even listen to us." "I think she will. I mean she was evil too, right? And she's got a second chance and friends, so why not us too?" "Okay, I'm convinced. It's worth a try I guess. But we could just visit her house instead of visiting her in that school. I don't think that those people would welcome us after what we did." "Yeah you're right, Ari." Both girls headed into their bedrooms and changed into their normal clothes. They went to the door and were pretty surprised as they opened it. In front of the door was Sunset Shimmer who was about to ring the doorbell. "Uh...hello you two," she began to speak nervously, "I know I'm the last person you want so see right now but I'm here to say that I want to help you make friends and offer my friendship to you as a first step..." she finished her sentence nervously. "Actually we're pretty glad that you're here. We just wanted to go visit you because we have some questions and you're the right one to answer them." said Aria. Sunset stood in front of them with a stunned face for a minute but then spoke up again. "I'm really glad to hear that. I honestly thought that you'd slam the door in front of my nose." Sunset replied. "Come in!" Sonata said cheerfully. "Thank you." The girls went into the living room and sat on the couch. It was awkwardly silent for a while as they just sat there and stared at each other. "Sorry that I have to ask but what are your names again?" Sunset spoke up. "Aria Blaze". "Sonata Dusk". "Oh yeah, right. I forgot, sorry about that." "It's okay." said Sonata. "Where is your friend?" Sunset asked. "I wouldn't call a person who mesmerized me over centuries a friend. And she's out for a walk. I don't know when she'll be back but I don't care." Aria answered. "Wait, what? She mesmerized you? But-" Sunset was cut off as the front door began to unlock and Adagio stepped in. She walked into the living room and glared at Sunset. "What the fuck is going on here?! What is SHE doing here?!" Adagio yelled. "Ugh," Aria groaned, "calm down, cheese-head. She's here to help us." Sonata nodded in agreement while Adagio glared at Sunset like she was about to explode. "Help?! HELP?! It would be more helpful when she'd just fuck off!" Adagio yelled, her face red like a tomato. "Just listen to what she has to say and then you can do whatever you want!" Sonata half-shouted. Adagio just glared at her with pure anger in her face but nodded. "So listen, Adagio. I know that I'm the last person you want to meet by now but you should know that I will help you to make friends if you want to. You can take the time you need, I won't rush you. The only thing that I can do by now is to offer my help to you. I really want to help you guys because I think everyone deserves a second chance. People can change and I know for sure that you can do it too. You just have to let me help you." said Sunset in a soft but also stern tone. Adagio just stood on the floor in silence for a while. It seemed that she was thinking about Sunset's words. Adagio glanced up at Sunset with a confused expression in her eyes. She brought her hands up to her face as if she tried to hide tears as she stormed upstairs into her bedroom and slammed the door shut. Aria and Sonata gave each other confused looks but Sunset seemed to know what was going on with Adagio. "I think she'll need time but we'll get to her." said Sunset with a soft and hopeful voice. Author's Note That was kinda hard to write :D I just wanted to get that chapter done cause over the weekend I'll be busy with studying for my history exam next week (WHY THE FUCK DID I PICK HISTORY?!?! :flutterrage: https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/flutterrage.png) Anyway, hope u enjoyed it :D Please let me know where I have grammer issues or spelling errors, I'd appreciate it a lot :D Thanks for reading //-------------------------------------------------------// Behind The Pendants //-------------------------------------------------------// Behind The Pendants The three girls sat on the couch in silence after Adagio stormed off to her bedroom with her face covered in her hands. Aria and Sonata seemed to be really confused, they didn't know what was going on here. But Sunset did. At least it seemed like that. After a few more wordless minutes Aria broke the silence. "What is going on with her?" asked Aria. "I think that my words got her somehow." Sunset replied. "How do you know?" asked Sonata. "I think that she ran upstairs crying." Sonata's and even Aria's eyes went wide as they heard what Sunset just said. Adagio and crying? Never. That couldn't be possible. Or maybe they just couldn't believe it. "Adagio and crying?" asked Aria, "I don't believe that. I mean c'mon it's Adagio who we talking about." she scoffed. "And that means she can't cry?" asked Sunset. "I didn't say that she can't. I said that I don't believe it." "Why don't you believe it?" "You wouldn't understand if I'd explain it to you, Sunset. You aren't the one who was stuck with her over centuries." "Probably not. But I guess that she just needs somebody who understands her and I think I can." "You don't know that girl. How could you understand her?" "I don't really know you and Sonata either. But if you're honest with yourselves, you want to talk with me because you think that I can help you, don't you?" "Yeah...You're right...I guess" "But what is going on with Adagio now? How do you know that she's crying upstairs?" asked Sonata. "Didn't you notice her expression before she went upstairs?" "Sure I did but what's with that?" asked Sonata again as Sunset gave her an odd look. "If you'd start to cry in front of us you would also cover your face with your hands to hide your tears, wouldn't you?" "Oh...uh..." stammered Sonata as she thought about what happened last night. "What's wrong?" asked Sunset. "Uh...you know..." Sonata hesitated, "I should've known after I did the exact same thing last night..." she finished as Aria turned away a bit, blushing slightly. "Really? Why? If you don't mind me asking." "I uh...It'd be better if I wouldn't tell you," said Sonata as she noticed Aria's expression, "Ari doesn't want you to know I guess...". "You can tell her if you want to." said Aria, blushing a bit harder. She didn't really know that she was blushing, she just felt the heat in her face. "Okay...if you say so. Well. Last night after you defeated us I had a fight with Adagio because she blamed me for this. She became really angry and wanted to hit me but Aria stopped her. She always does when Adagio wants to hurt me. When Aria and I wanted to go upstairs Adagio asked why Aria always stops her from hurting me. Aria told her that she has a promise to keep and I didn't know what she was talking about so I asked her. She told me the whole story about it and... Well. It has to do with my parents and that made me really sad because I don't know what happened to them. And I covered my face in my hands just like Adagio did but then Aria hugged me and let me cry into her shoulder and she comforted me." "That was really nice from her." said Sunset with a soft smile. "But I honestly don't know why I did that considering that I never really cared about those things before." said Aria. "How did you feel when you saw her like that?" asked Sunset. "Well I...I don't really know. I felt bad, really bad and...there was this pain in my chest. Not physically but...I don't know how to explain, all I can say is that it was weird, really weird." "You have empathy for her." "And what is that?" asked a now confused Aria. "That what you felt yesterday. It's just one of those many feelings you'll have to deal with from now on. But be prepared. Time will come where you think that you're sitting in a roller coaster." "Okay.... That makes sense... I guess." "Good. Uh... I have a question. You said that Adagio mesmerized you. What do you mean with that? If you don't mind me asking." "Well... It was a few years after Sonata came to live with me. We were hanging out on our usual place and we were talking about how boring that day was. Then we heard a voice, we heard someone sind and as I hate to admit, it was kinda beautiful. So we decided to follow the way where that voice came from. When we arrived we saw Adagio but she didn't notice us until we began to sing with her, we just sat there and sang for hours. From time to time we grew closer to her because she was really nice. At least we thought she was. Another few years passed by and then there was it. The day where she gave us those gems. She told us that that's a gift from her to sign our "friendship". So we took them and BOOM. The gems became parts of our bodys ,we were evil monsters and Adagio began to show us who she really was. I knew that this wasn't right. I knew it the whole time but I wasn't able to break out of it. It was like being captured in a cage. I tried really hard to get out of it but the magic of this stupid gem which became a pendant as we arrived here was too strong for me." said Aria as a single tear slid down on her face. Sunset just stared at them with wide eyes for a few moments before she spoke up again. "Oh my... That's really... I'm so sorry to hear that." "It's okay." said Aria. "I think I should look after her." "It would be the best if you wouldn't." said Sonata. "It's ok. She can't do more than throwing me out." __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Adagio was laying on her bed, crying into her pillow. She felt like she just fell into a deep black hole. She felt like her mind could explode any minute. Guilt, fear, sadness, anger. All at the same time. "She was right. It WAS all my fault. What have I done?!..." Adagio thought to herself as she buried her face deeper into her pillow. "What the hell is wrong with me? Why do I feel like that? Why can't that just stop?!" Sunset's words repeated over and over in her head and it just didn't stop. "Does she really mean it? If yes, why? Why would she help me after what I did?" she asked herself. She kept crying into her pillow but from time to time she stopped and just stared at the ceiling. After a few minutes, which felt like hours to Adagio, she heard a soft knocking. "Whoever is there and whatever you want, fuck off and leave me alone!" Adagio half shouted. "Please, Adagio. Open the door." came Sunset's voice from outside. Adagio nearly jumped as she heard Sunset's voice. "W-what do you want?" "I want to talk to you, Adagio. Please let me in. I really meant what I said downstairs." Adagio hesitated for a moment and stared at the door. Then she got up and approached it slowly to open it. Sunset stepped in and smiled warmly at her but Adagio stared down in shame. "Adagio. I want to help you. People can change and I know that you can do it, too. You just have to accept my help." said Sunset with a warm and soft tone. "What? After all I've done you want to help me? But why?" Adagio replied, her voice slightly cracking. "Because I can imagine how you feel right now. I want to help you because I know that you can change just as I did. It will be a tough process to get used to be a human person. You are not alone, Adagio. I'm here for you. And so are Aria and Sonata." "But Aria and Sonata don't care about me. They hate me." said Adagio as she bit her lip to hold back her tears. "Believe it or not. They do. I think they'd already left by now if they'd hate you. Aria and Sonata told me what happened back in Equestria and I think that they'll avoid you at the first time. But they won't leave you alone here." "B-But how do you know that? asked Adagio as she began to cry again, "What if they will leave me?". she stammered with a cracked voice. Sunset slowly approached her and brought her in a soft hug. "Trust me. I know that they won't leave you." said Sunset as she hugged Adagio tighter. Adagio slowly brought her arms around Sunset's back and began to cry into Sunset's shoulder. "It's okay, Adagio," said Sunset as she gently stroked her back, "let it all go. It's okay, I'm here." The room went silent. The only thing which could be heard was Adagio's crying. Both girls sat on the bed as Adagio hugged Sunset tightly, as if she didn't want her to leave. After a few hours of crying and talking the room went silent again. Adagio finally stopped to cry and Sunset noticed that she fell asleep. She laid Adagio onto her bed and then she wrote a note before she left. Sunset walked downstairs to the living room where Aria was watching a movie and Sonata was sleeping while she leaned on Aria's shoulder. "Damn. I never thought that she'd let you into her room." "Me neither but I could talk to her and she's willing to accept my help." "Well that's good then I guess." "Yes it is. It'll be a tough process but all of you can do it. Anyway, gotta go now. I have stuff to do for school. I think I'll come to see you tomorrow if that's okay for you." "Yeah, sure. Whatever." "Okay, see you then." "Bye. And... Thank you for helping us. We really appreciate it." "That's no problem." said Sunset before she opened the front door and left. Aria wrapped her arms around Sonata, who was still asleep. She didn't know why, but she felt good, really good as she smiled at herself. "Things will finally get better." Author's Note I'm finished with studying for my exam tomorrow, hope I'll pass :rainbowderp: https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/rainbowderp.png As always: Let me know where I have grammar issues or spelling errors, I'd really appreciate that. Thanks for reading :pinkiehappy: https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/pinkiehappy.png //-------------------------------------------------------// Moving On //-------------------------------------------------------// Moving On A few hours passed by after Sunset left. Adagio woke up in the middle of the night and rubbed her eyes. "Was that just a dream?" she asked herself as she got out of her bed and switched on the lights. She went to her bathroom and cleaned her tear stained face. Adagio went back into her room as she noticed the note which Sunset left on her desk. "Huh? Where did that come from? That wasn't on that table before..." she thought to herself as she took the paper and read it. "Dear Adagio, I'm sorry that I left, please don't be mad at me. I would've been here longer but I had stuff which I wanted to get done today. Hope you had a good sleep. If yes, then I did a good job on being your pillow." Adagio gasped and felt the heat rising in her face, "My what?!" she yelled like she'd just seen a ghost or something like that. She hold her mouth shut with her hand immediatly. "What the fuck?! Sunset?! My pillow?! Dammit... I hope they didn't hear me..." Adagio whispered to herself. She had to admit that she liked the thought of using Sunset as a pillow somehow. Soon she realized that something else was on the note. "Once again, I'm really sorry that I left this early but I'll come see you girls tomorrow if that's okay with you. Sunset." Adagio couldn't help it, she smiled at this. She seemed to be really glad that Sunset will visit her again. Stretching and yawning a bit, Adagio got out of the room to get herself something to drink but she stopped dead in her tracks as she saw Aria and Sonata laying on the couch together. Aria was watching TV and Sonata was sleeping with her arms wrapped around Aria's waist and her head resting on her chest. "What the fuck, Aria?" asked Adagio as she raised her eyebrow. Aria nearly got a heart attack as she heard Adagio's voice. "Holy fuck, Adagio!" said Aria, "Why did you have to sneak on like that? By the way, what do you mean? she asked. "What the fuck are you two doing there?" "As you can see, Sonata's sleeping and I'm watching TV. Got a problem?" "What? No! I mean the other thing. Sonata's cuddling you like her teddy and you just let her do that?" "Sure, why not?" "Why are you doing this? I'm kinda confused." Aria giggled slightly at this, "I dunno but she seems to like that." "And you like that too, don't you?" Aria's eyes went wide for a second, "I dunno... I guess I do." "Well... That's kinda disgusting but okay." Aria raised her eyebrow. "What?" "You're not judging us like you'd usually do?" "Why should I? Especially since I did the same with Suns-" she cut herself off, "Er *ahem*, I mean... with my pillow..." "So you did that with a pillow which is called Sunset Shimmer, too?" Aria asked and giggled. "Shush! I didn't say anything like that!" said Adagio, her face flushing bright red. "Okay, if you say so." Aria snickered, "What did you want to do here anyway?" "I just wanted to get something to drink." "Okay. Now that you said it, I should get some too." "Stupid pillow... Don't move... You're so comfy..." Sonata murmured as Aria tried to get up. "Now I'm a pillow? Interesting, Sonata." Aria said dryly but began to laugh as well as Adagio. "Huh? What? Oh... Hey, Ari." Sonata purred. Both Aria and Adagio were laughing harder about Sonata not realizing what she just said to her "pillow". "What's so funny?" asked Sonata. "You should've hear what you just said." said Aria between giggles. "Wha-what did I say?" "Just as I wanted to get up to get a drink you were like "Stupid pillow! Don't move! You're so comfy!" "What?! Really? Eeeee!" Sonata squeaked as she blushed from embaressment, "Sorry! But you're actually a nice pillow..." Sonata admitted. "So? Well... Thank you.." said Aria, slightly blushing. "No problem, Ari!" Sonata said cheerful, hugging Aria tightly. "D'aaaaaaaw." said Adagio, "Why the fuck did I say that?!" she thought to herself. "Shut up, Adagio." said Aria, blushing harder. "Okay, okay. I'll just get my drink and go back to sleep." said Adagio. "Me too. Do you want to drink something too, Sonata?" "No thanks." After they got their drinks the girls changed into their pajamas and went into their bedrooms. A few hours later in the morning Sonata and Adagio were the first who got up and ate breakfast. Aria was still asleep, she was always the one who was up until late in the night and slept 'til it was noon. Sometimes even afternoon. While Adagio was cleaning the dishes the doorbell rang. "I'll open it!" Sonata said cheerful as she went to the front door and opened it. "Hey Sunset! You're already here? I thought you were at school at this time. Anyway, come in!" "Thank you. No I'm not at school today, it's Saturday." Sunset replied. "Oh, right. How could I forget?" "It's okay." said Sunset as she sat down on the couch. "Hey there, Adagio. Do you feel better?" "A lot better. Thank you, Sunset." Adagio answered and smiled at the girl. "So what's up? And where's Aria?" "Sleeping." said Sonata. "What? Really? It's 11 o' clock and she's still sleeping?" "Yeah. She always stays up until it's in the middle of the night, it's a miracle when she wakes up early. But I think I should wake her up now." Adagio raised an eyebrow, "Sonata, you know how she is. Especially on mornings. You better let her sleep." she said. "It's okay, she won't kill me." said Sonata as she went upstairs and into Aria's bedroom. "Ariii! Time to wake up!" Sonata said in a loud and cheerful tone. "Meh... Leave me alone..." "Wake up." "No." "C'mon." "No." "C'mon don't be so lazy!" "Fuck you. Leave me alone." "That way won't work to get her up," Sonata thought to herself as she smirked evilly, "It has to be the hard way, then." "Okay, Ari." said Sonata with an evil grin. She went out of Aria's bedroom but soon came back with a bucket in her hand. That bucket was filled with water. Ice cold water. "Ari, you better get up now. The easy way or the hard way. Your choice." "Could you just leave me alone?" "That was the wrong answer, Ari." said Sonata as she poured the cold water all over Aria. "WHAT THE FUCK SONATA! HOW DARE YOU! I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS!" Sonata began to laugh, "But first you have to catch me!", she said as she ran out of the room and downstairs, Aria followed right behind. Adagio and Sunset began to laugh as they saw Aria and Sonata running through the house. "Move your ass here! NOW!" "NO!" "I'll get you! You can't escape me!" said Aria as she looked at the pool which they had in their backyard and soon she got the perfect idea for her revenge. Sonata was behind the couch where Adagio and Sunset were laughing like crazy. She tried to run away but Aria jumped over the couch, wrapped her arms around her waist and lifted Sonata in the air. "Now it's time for my revenge." Aria said with an evil smirk in her face. She began to walk to the backyard and towards the pool. "What the- NO! DON'T! PLEASE!" Sonata pleaded and struggled in Aria's arms but she couldn't escape, her grip was too strong. Aria kept walking to the pool and stopped right in front of it. "Are you ready for a bath?" "NO! ARIA! DON'T! AAAAAH!" Sonata yelled as Aria threw her into the pool and began to laugh evilly. "FUCK YOU!" "Aw, c'mon that was funny! By the way, you had it coming!" Aria said as both girls began to laugh. Adagio and Sunset came out into the backyard too, still laughing at what just happened. "Holy fuck, what was that?" asked Adagio as she stepped next to Aria and held her stomach while laughing. "Oh, Adagio. You want a bath too?" Aria asked. "Huh?" was all she could say before Aria shoved her into the pool. "Hey! What was that for?!" "I don't know, but you deserved it!" Sunset was laying on the ground now, holding her stomach and rolling back and fourth. She was laughing so hard that she couldn't stand on her feet anymore. After a few minutes the laughter died down and the girls got out of the pool. After they changed into their normal clothes they sat on the couch in the living room again. "I never laughed so hard in my life before." said Sunset. "Yeah, I can tell." Aria replied. "I'm glad that you seem to get along." "Yeah we have no choice since we live together and it's better like that instead of fighting all day. There are many things that we have to talk about but not now. I don't think that's the right time now." said Aria as she shrugged. "You're probably right." ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ A few weeks passed since the siren's defeat. A really good friendship grew between the Dazzlings and Sunset Shimmer. They got used to live like humans step by step. The Dazzlings even met the Rainbooms and it seemed that they could get along with them pretty good. They even started to make music together sometimes. Soon they started to realize that Adagio was acting weird around Sunset. Sometimes it was like she had what humans would call a crush. Sunset noticed her behaviour but never asked Adagio considering that she might not even know what a crush is. She was visiting the Dazzlings again and sat on the couch while they drank coffee and talked about random things but Adagio was silent the most time. "Adagio? Something wrong?" asked Sunset. "No. I'm just thinking." Adagio replied. "About what?" "Something's happening to me. I don't know what it is, it just feels weird." "Do you want to talk about it?" "Uh... I guess I do but I can't tell you in front of Aria and Sonata. It's kinda embarrassing for me." "Then lets go out for a walk. Just you and me. If thats okay for you of course." "It's actually a good idea. I need some fresh air anyway." "Okay then. Let's go." "What's going on here?" Aria and Sonata asked at the same time. "Nothing. We're just going for a walk. She'll tell you when she feels like it. Anyway, see ya later, girls." "Ooookay," Aria said in disbelief, "See you later then." she said. Aria and Sonata where alone in the house after Sunset and Adagio left. "I wonder what's going on with Dagi." said Sonata. "Me too. But we'll know sooner or later." said Aria, "So... What are we gonna do now? It's pretty boring." "We could watch the movie which Fluttershy gave us that one day we visited her." "Okay." Sonata went to her bedroom where she had the movie and brought it into the living room. First they read the summary which said that the movie is about two girls who had a crush on each other. Aria raised an eyebrow, "What the fuck is a crush?" she asked. "I dunno. But we'll find out when we watch that movie, I guess." Sonata answered as she put the movie into the DVD-player. It was one of those typical lovey-dovey romance stuff. Sonata seemed to enjoy it but Aria just wanted to throw up. "Geez, why would a normal person act like that? That's just ridiculous." Aria groaned. "I dunno but I like it." "It was obvious that you'd like that stuff." Aria teased. "Shut up." They kept watching the movie in silence. Aria's eyes went wide as the girls in the movie started kissing each other. "What are they doing there?" Aria asked. "The humans call that a kiss or something like that." Sonata answered. "But why are they doing this?" asked Aria again with a confused expression. "Maybe because of that crush they were talking about before..." "Oh... That makes sense." "I think we should try that too." "What?! Why?" "Uh... Because I... I want to know how that feels." Aria just stared at Sonata with wide eyes. She didn't know what to say. "B-But I don't know what to do, I never did that before..." "Me neither, so what? Besides, you're curious too, aren't you?" "Uuh.. I-I dunno.. I mean sure b-but-" "See? Then there's nothing wrong with it." "Uh... Okay... If you say so..." Both girls stared into each others eyes nervously and blushing. Slowly they closed their eyes as they leaned in until their lips touched. First it was like a hesitate peck but soon they turned it into a deep kiss. The whole room went black around them. It was like there were just the girls and nothing else. Aria brought her arms around Sonata's back and pulled her close as Sonata brought her arms around Aria's neck. Their bodies were tingling and their faces were flushing bright red but they seemed to enjoy this and they didn't want it to stop. After a few minutes they needed air and parted with a spit trail still connecting them. "Uh... Wow... That was..." Aria whispered. "Amazing." Sonata finished for her. "Yeah... You nailed it. It felt really good..." Aria admitted. "You're right, Ari." said Sonata as she rested her head on Aria's shoulder. "But don't tell anybody about this. Not even Sunset or Adagio." "Okay, I promise. I won't tell them." "Thank you." said Aria, smiling at Sonata but she still couldn't really believe what just happened. "Maybe that was just a dream and I'll wake up soon." she thought to herself. Author's Note It took a little longer to write that but now here is it, finally! As always: mention grammar issues or spelling errors if you find them, I'd appreciate that. Thanks for reading :pinkiehappy: https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/pinkiehappy.png //-------------------------------------------------------// Confessions //-------------------------------------------------------// Confessions It was half an hour after Adagio and Sunset left the house to take a walk. It was silent between them the whole time. Adagio just stared at the ground while Sunset was thinking about what to say now. She knew that she had to be careful what to say, she didn't want to rush Adagio. They walked across the street and passed a few buldings until they stood in front of Sugarcube Corner. "Wanna go drink a coffee?" asked Sunset, "I'll invite you." she said. "Yeah sure. Thank you." Adagio replied. "Nah, not for that." said Sunset, smiling at the girl next to her. Adagio and Sunset entered Sugarcube Corner and sat down on a table next to the large window. The waitress took their orders and brought their coffees not five minutes later. They sat there in awkward silence. Just looking at each other every now and then but nobody spoke a word for quite a long time. Finally Sunset broke the silence. "Why don't you say anything?" asked Sunset. "I don't know what to say. By the way, you didn't speak a word either until now." said Adagio, slightly grinning. "Okay, you're right." said Sunset with a giggle. "So... How's it going for you? Especially with Aria and Sonata, if you don't mind me asking." "Pretty well actually. We had a lot to talk and so we did. I finally got the chance to tell them what happened to me back in Equestria. Before I met them. I know that I did things which are unforgivable but I wasn't me the whole time... Gosh. That just sounds like a poor excuse but I'm glad that they know that I never wanted to be who I was." "It isn't just an excuse. It's the truth. And I'm really glad to hear that you're getting along with them." "I'm glad too. I really thought that they'd hate me and avoid me for the rest of my life but thankfully they don't." "See? Just like I said when we spoke for the first time." said Sunset, laying her hand over Adagio's. "Yeah. You where right." said Adagio, smiling at the girl and blushing slightly. Sunset returned the smile and stared deep into Adagio's eyes for a long moment. Adagio began to get nervous. She felt the heat rising in her face and she didn't know what to say or what Sunset was expecting from her. It was awkwardly silent between them until Sunset spoke up again. "Are you okay?" she asked. "Yeah, I'm fine." Adagio replied. "Okay, if you say so." said Sunset, "So... You wanted to tell me what's bothering you." "Nothing's bothering me. It's just that I'm a little bit confused." "Why?" "Please don't laugh at me when I tell you this. I know that it'll be ridiculous for you..." "I won't laugh." "Okay. Well... Uh... Do you remember that day two weeks ago where Aria got mad at Rarity?" "Well, I remember that day but what do you mean with Aria getting mad at her? She never was." said Sunset with a smirk. "But when Aria wasn't mad, why was her face red like a tomato after Rarity said that she believes that Aria has a "crush" on Sonata?" "Because she nailed it. Aria wasn't mad, she was embarrassed indicating that Rarity was right. Or maybe just because everybody began to laugh and thats why Aria's tone sounded harsh as she said that Rarity should shut up." "Okay. Uh..." Adagio rubbed her neck nervously, "I know that sounds ridiculous and that I should know that after I've been here over centuries but I never gave attention to things like that..." said Adagio, "Uh... What is that "crush" thing?" she asked, blushing from embarrassment. "Thats a tough question. I mean, I know what it is but it's hard to explain because love isn't a thing, it's a feeling." "But I was speaking from a crush, not from love." said Adagio. Sunset nearly facepalmed but she could stop herself from doing that and just stared dumbfounded at Adagio for a brief moment. "Well... Beeing in love is actually that what we call a crush. And that feeling is a thing which I can't really explain. You have to experience it." "Okay, that makes sense. But when I fall in love, how do I know that I'm in love?" "When you aren't able to stop thinking about this person. When your stomach is tingling when the person you feel affected to smiles at you or touches you or when your face gets warm when that person compliments you. But all this are just indicating hints. In all honesty I don't really know what you'll go through until you know it. Nobody does. But when it happens you'll know it." "Wow..." was all what Adagio could say for that moment. What Sunset just explained to her was exactly that what Adagio felt towards her but she didn't know how to tell her. She was afraid of how Sunset would react. If she'd reject her or if she felt the same way about Adagio. "So... When it happens, how do I know that that person feels the same way?" asked Adagio nervously, turning her head away hoping that Sunset wouldn't notice that she was blushing like crazy. "This depends on how that person acts towards you. Some people hide it, other people show it. But it's always difficult so you have to tell him or her how you feel to know for sure." "Well... Okay. I guess I get it... Uh... Thanks for answering my questions... I really didn't know all that..." Adagio stammered nervously, her face still a bit red. "No problem. But in all honesty... Uh... You've been here for centuries and you didn't notice at least a bit of that? I mean... It was everywhere around you..." "Ridiculous right? I know. But it's not that I didn't notice. I just didn't understand why people were acting like this but I never paid attention to figure out. I didn't care about those things until a few weeks ago... Sirens have different feelings than humans and that's why we didn't really know how to deal with this." "Well. That explains a lot." The girls went silent again and drank their coffees. After another coffee they paid and left Sugarcube Corner. "Do you want to go back home or something else?" asked Sunset. "I dunno... Uh... What do you prefer?" "I'd like to spend more time with you alone. We never did that before." "Yeah, you're probably right. So what are we gonna do now?" "How about me showing you my favourite hiding place?" "Hiding place?" "Yeah. I often go there when I want to be alone without anybody around me. It seems like those people here don't know about that place. I never saw anybody around there." "There's seriously nobody around? Sounds nice... Lead the way then... I guess..." Sunset smiled softly at Adagio and grabbed her hand. Adagio said nothing and felt her stomach tingling like crazy. They walked across a few streets and arrived at the park where they also walked a long way through. After half an hour of walking they arrived at Sunset's hiding place. It was a little part of a beach which was surrounded with big rocks and trees. No wonder that almost nobody knew that place. It was completely untouched. "This is the place where I landed when I came her from Equestria." Sunset explained as she gently squeezed Adagio's hand. Adagio said nothing. She just stood there and looked around the place which was stunningly beautiful for her. "This is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." said Adagio. "I'm really glad to hear that. I love this place. If you don't want to be disturbed by anything then this is the perfect place to rest." said Sunset with a big grin. Sunset and Adagio were talking about everything they came up with and they didn't really notice that it was getting dark already until Sunset took a look at the time. "Holy shit, it's getting late. I think we should go soon, it's really cold here when it's dark." "Huh? But I don't really want to leave..." Adagio pouted. "I said soon, not now." said Sunset as she winked at her. She stepped closer to Adagio and sat next to her as they watched the sun disappear in the horizon. "I never realized how beautiful a sunset could be." said a stunned Adagio. "Do you mean the sunset or me?" Sunset asked with a wink. "Uuuh... B-Both?" Adagio stammered, her face flushing bright red. Sunset just smiled softly at her and looked deep into her eyes. A few moments later Sunset slowly approached her head towards Adagio's. Adagio was lost in her thoughts and didn't notice what Sunset was doing. She thought about how she could tell Sunset how she felt, she knew that this was the right moment. "Now or never." Adagio thought to herself as she felt a pair of lips connecting her own. Her eyes went wide, her stomach began to tingle and she got goose bumps all over her body. Soon she relaxed and closed her eyes as she slowly melted into the kiss. It felt warm and soft, she forgot everything which was around her. Instictively Adagio brought her arms around Sunset's neck as Sunset did the same. A few moments later they parted, staring deep into each others eyes and smiling widely. "So... Does that mean... you l...l-like me?" Adagio asked nervously. "No, Adagio." said Sunset, "I love you." she whispered into Adagio's ear. "R-Really?" she asked, Sunset nodded, "I uh... I... I l-love you t-too." Adagio stammered. Sunset pulled her into a tight hug and kissed her again. A minute later Sunset pulled back, smiling widely and so did Adagio. "What does that mean now?" asked Adagio. "That I'm your girlfriend now. And you're mine." Sunset replied softly. Adagio smilet at her and brought her into a tight hug. It was silent now. But it wasn't awkward for a change. They just enjoyed each others embrace. After a few minutes Sunset spoke up again. "We should go home now, it's late and pretty cold." said Sunset. "I don't really want to but you're right. I don't want Aria and Sonata to worry about me." Adagio replied. Adagio and Sunset linked their hands and began to walk home. A long walk later they arrived at the Dazzlings house. Sunset kissed her goodbye and left and Adagio stepped inside the house with a wide smile on her face. She walked through the living room without noticing Aria and Sonata sitting on the couch. Adagio got a little heart attack as she heard Aria's voice. "That was a really long walk. How did it go?" she asked. "Damn it, Aria! You scared me!" Adagio shrieked but immediatly calmed down, "Yeah, it sure was. And it was the best day of my life." she said. "What happened?" Sonata asked curiously. "Well..." Adagio hesitated, a bit afraid of their reaction about what she was going to say, "She's my girlfriend now." "That's nice!" Sonata said cheerful, "I'm happy for you!". "Me too." said Aria, slightly grinning. "Thank you girls. You don't know how much that means to me." said Adagio with a soft voice. "No problem." Aria and Sonata said at the same time. "Anyway, I'll go to sleep now." said Adagio, yawning and stretching a bit, "I'm pretty tired." "Well then. Have a good night!" said Sonata. "Believe me. I will." Author's Note That was a hard one to write considering that this wasn't my plan at the beginning. Anyway, hope you enjoyed  https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/twilightsmile.png As alwas: Grammar issues and spelling errors, blah blah Thanks for reading :pinkiehappy: https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/pinkiehappy.png //-------------------------------------------------------// Something To Tell //-------------------------------------------------------// Something To Tell It was the next morning, Aria and Sonata both fell asleep on the couch with Sonata snuggled up to Aria. In the past few weeks after the sirens defeat Sonata grew closer to Aria and saw a side from her which she never expected. With the time Sonata has kinda gotten into the habit using Aria as her pillow or teddy. The good thing was that Aria didn't mind that. She even liked it. The Sun was shining through the window into the living room right onto Aria's face. Aria woke up and rubbed her eyes. "Gosh... Who turned on the sun?" Aria muttered to herself as she noticed that Sonata still was asleep, surprisingly. Gently she lifted her up and layed Sonata onto the couch pillow. After that she went into the kitchen and made coffee. While she was waiting for the coffee to get ready she began to think about what happened one day ago. Her stomach began to tingle again and the heat in her face was rising. After a few minutes she snapped out of her thoughts as she heard Sonata's voice behind her. "Good morning, Ada-," Sonata cut herself off as she noticed that it was Aria who was standing in the kitchen, "Oh sorry, Ari. I kinda thought that you were Adagio. Aria rose an eyebrow, "What? You didn't notice that your pillow was gone?" she teased. Sonata gave her a confused look, "Huh? What do you mean? The pillow was right there on the couch." she said and pointed to the couch in the living room. "Pfft. Well, fuck you too." Aria fake-pouted. Sonata noticed this, rushed over to her and hugged her tightly, "Oh my goshies I'm so sorry! I didn't want to-" "Geez calm down, I'm just teasing." Aria cut her off and poked her nose. "Wait, what?" Sonata asked. Aria began to giggle, Sonata pulled away from her. "Meh... You're the worst." Sonata pouted. "You are..." said Aria as she gently hugged Sonata again. Sonata froze for a second and she got goose bumps all over her body as she felt Aria's warmth surrounding her. She always felt safe when Aria was near her and she knew that she had to tell Aria how she felt towards her but she didn't know how. Sonata really wanted to tell her but she just couldn't find the right words. She also was afraid about how Aria would react, that she maybe would stop being nice to her. What she didn't know was that Aria was thinking exact the same thing right now. Aria and Sonata pulled away from each other as they heard Adagio coming downstairs. "Good morning girls." Adagio sang happyly as she stepped into the kitchen. "Looks like someone had a good sleep." said Sonata smiling at Adagio. "Oh yes, I had. I actually never slept this well in my whole life before." Adagio replied, "And how did you girls sleep?" she asked. "Pretty good." said Aria. "Lika a baby." said Sonata, smiling widely at Aria while Aria was sipping her coffee. "So Aria's your girlfriend now, huh?" Adagio asked as she saw how Sonata smiled at Aria. Sonata just stared at Adagio and Aria's eyes shot open as she spat her coffee all over the table, "What?!" she asked, obviously shocked about Adagio's question. "What makes you thinking that, Adagio?" Aria asked again. "The way you act towards each other," said Adagio, "When other people see you like that they'd think you're a couple." "We aren't a couple," said Aria, "stop that please." she said in a slightly annoyed tone. "Aaw c'mon, Ari. You know for yourself-" "I said stop it and don't dare to call me "Ari" ever again." Aria groaned. Sonata knew that Aria would always react like this when someone talks to her about things like that but this time it hurt her. She looked down at the floor for a moment but then looked up again. Aria noticed that and immediatly felt horrible. "Shit, I didn't want that..." Aria thought to herself. "Okay, okay," Adagio said, waving with her hands, "Geez, someone's pissed this morning." Adagio grumbled as she went upstairs again. Aria and Sonata sat in the kitchen in silence. Sonata was eating some cereal while Aria was just staring at her. She wanted to apologize but she didn't know how. After a little while Sonata finally noticed that Aria was staring at her. "Aria? Something wrong?" she asked and raised an eyebrow. "Sonata, I... I'm sorry..." said Aria. "For what?" "For what just happened when Adagio was here. I didn't want to hurt you..." said Aria, looking deep into Sonata's eyes, "I didn't mean it like that, I just was shocked about what Adagio said." Aria said, looking down with guilt. Sonata got up and hugged her tightly, "It's okay, Aria. I know that you don't like to speak about things like that, especially with Adagio." "So you aren't mad at me?" "No, silly," Sonata giggled, "I'm not mad. Why should I?" Aria sighed with relief and stared into Sonata's eyes again, "I'm glad..." she whispered. A few wordless minutes later Aria spoke up again. "Could you do me a favour?" she asked. "Sure, what is it?" Sonata replied. "Could you please stop calling me "Aria"?" "Huh?" asked a confused Sonata, "But I thought you didn't want to-" "I know but I said that to Adagio, not to you," Aria cut her off, "I don't mind when you do it. Don't ask why but it just sounds wrong when you call me by my name. I dunno... But I kinda got used to you calling me "Ari"." "Well if you say so... Ari..." said Sonata, still a bit confused. "Thank you." said Aria as she leaned in and gently kissed Sonata on the cheek. "Eeee!" Sonata squealed and turned away in hope that Aria wouldn't see that her face was red like a tomato. Aria giggled at this. "Damn... Thats cute..." she thought to herself. After another few moments Aria's phone rang. "Hello?" Aria answered. "Hey there, Aria. It's me, I need your help." came Sunset's voice from the other side. "Huh? What happened?" "Nothing. It's just that I need to know what Adagio likes the most. I want to surprise her." "Okay but why do you need me for that? And why don't you just come over?" "Because you lived together with her over centuries so you might know what she likes. And I can't come over now. I don't want Adagio to see me because like I said, I want to surprise her." "Good point." said Aria, Sonata was looking curiously to her. "So you can help me?" "Well, I can try. But how?" "Come to the mall. And please come without Sonata." "Why? And how could I convince her to stay at home?" "You know how she is, I don't want to stay there the whole day. Think about something." "Okay..." said Aria before she hung up. "Gosh, thats bitchy..." she thought to herself. "Who was that?" asked Sonata. "It was Sunset. She wants me to help her to surprise Adagio so I have to go to the mall with her." Aria replied. "Sounds nice! Can I come with you?" "No, not this time." said Aria, "You can go help Adagio straighten her hair." she said hoping that it would convince Sonata to stay home. "But you know that Adagio'd rather kill herself instead of straighten her hair. She loves her poofy curls." "Aaw, c'mon. That doesn't last forever. She just has to wash her hair to get it back to normal. Besides, I believe that Sunset would like to see her with straight hair." "Okay, if you say so." said Sonata, "But hurry up, okay?" she pouted. She didn't want Aria to go away from her. "I'll try. And stop pouting, I won't be gone forever." said Aria with a smile before she went out of the house. Sonata just stood in the floor speechless and blushing. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ "Thank you for coming, I really appreciate that." said Sunset with a smile. "No problem. So what are we looking for?" Aria replied. "I want to do something special for Adagio and thats why I need your help. I don't really know what she likes." "She likes chocolate." "Really?" "Yes. Everytime when we go shopping she buys some. One day she even said that she'd take a bath in it when it'd be possible." "But chocolate only sounds boring." Sunset complained. "Ugh..." Aria groaned, "Then make it interesting. Thats not difficult." "Then tell me what you would do with chocolate!" "I'd burn it with fire." "What?!" Sunset gasped with wide eyes. Aria facepalmed, "You heard me. I hate it. Just buy a pack of chocolates and put a picture of you on the bottom of the package or something like that. Damn. That can't be that hard. Besides, she's your girlfriend so why do I have to do the thinking? I thought you just wanted me to tell you what she likes." Aria muttered angryly. "Sorry, you're right. But that picture in the chocolate sounds really good. How did you come up with that idea?" "I dunno. Saw it in a movie. Can we just get that done now?" Aria growled. "Aaaah. Now I know why you're pissed," said Sunset with a mischievous smile, "You miss Sonata, don't you?" she teased. "Uh..." Aria's eyes went wide and her face turned red, "I guess I do..." she said as she rubbed her head nervously. It went silent between them and it was awkward. After a little while Sunset broke the silence. "Does she know how you feel?" she asked. "I dunno... Maybe..." said Aria, her face still a bit red. "What do you mean with that?" "Well... Adagio said that we act as if we'd be an item... But I didn't tell her anything yet, I don't know how." "That's not difficult, Aria. It's just three simple words." "No it isn't... I tried this morning but then you called me..." "Oh... I'm sorry." "It's okay. Shit happens. Let's get your stupid present now." "Hey! It's not stupid! And it was your idea!" "You started with this and since when do the people need a present to show their feelings to their special someones?! Thats just ridiculous in my opinion!" Aria rose her voice but immediatly brought her hand to her mouth. "I didn't say that loud, did I?" she asked. "Yes you did. And really loud, that guy over there is staring at you." said Sunset between giggles. Aria didn't care, she just rose her middle finger towards that guy. "You like her, don't you?." asked Sunset as the girls walked towards the chocolate store. "No... I love that girl... But I don't know how to tell her." said Aria with a frown. "I'd suggest you to surprise her with something but you said earlier that you don't want to." "I know and I won't. I'll just get some tacos for her, she loves them." said Aria as she came up with an idea, "Yes! Thats it!" she said cheerful. "What is it?" asked Sunset. "I just need to get her alone and for that I need you to get Adagio out of the house for the night. Could you do that?" "Sure thing." said Sunset. "Thank you." said Aria with a smile on her face. Sunset returned it and went into the chocolate store to get her present for Adagio. Aria went to the taco resturant to get some tacos. After that they walked out of the mall and began to walk home. "Thank you for helping me." said Sunset. "Thanks to you too." Aria replied. "It's the least I can do." After that their ways parted. Half an hour later Aria finally arrived at the Dazzling's house and stepped inside. She went into the kitchen and placed the bag with the tacos on the kitchentable, then she went into the living room. "Hey, Ari! There you are!" Sonata cheered as she came downstairs and hugged Aria. "Hey there." Aria said softly and hugged her back. "Did Sunset find what she wanted?" "Yes. Lets go into the kitchen, It's lunchtime. I brought tacos." "Yay! Thank you! You're so sweet!" said Sonata as she kissed Aria's cheek. "Heh, so are you." Aria said nervously, slightly blushing. They sat down in the kitchen and began eating their tacos. After they finished they went into the living room and sat down on the couch. "So, what are we going to do today? Adagio's sleeping at Sunset's tonight so we have the house to ourselves." said Sonata. "That sounds nice. Well, I dunno. Suggest something." said Aria smiling. "How about a movienight?" Sonata suggested, "But first I want to take a nap, I'm tired." she murmured. "Sure, whatever you want." Aria purred. She turned on the TV as Sonata got herself comfortable on her and went to sleep. After Sonata fell asleep Aria got up and went upstairs to look through her DVD's which she had. Soon she realized that she only hat horror movies and she knew that Sonata would get nightmares from them. "Shit, what to I do now?" she whispered to herself as she came up with an idea. Aria thought about that movie which Fluttershy gave to them so she dealed her number. A few seconds later she picked up. "Hello?" Fluttershy answered. "Hey there, it's Aria. I have a question." said Aria. "Oh hello, Aria. Sure, what is it?" "It's about that movie you gave us and well... Sonata really liked that. Do you have more of those?" "Yes I do. You want to borrow them?" "Yes, if that's okay for you." "Sure it is. I'll be at your house in about twenty minutes." "You don't need to come over, I can pick them up." "No, that's okay. My shift at the animal shelter begins soon and your house is on my way." "Okay, thank you, Fluttershy." "No problem, I'm glad to help." said Fluttershy before she hung up. Twenty minutes later the doorbell rang. Aria opened the door and Fluttershy gave her the movies. "Thanks again." said Aria. "No problem." said Fluttershy, slightly smiling. "Bye then, have fun." "We will." said Aria as she closed the door and went back into the living room. "Who was it?" asked Sonata. "It was Fluttershy, I asked her to bring some of her movies because I only have horror movies." "Aaw, that's so sweet from you!" Aria put the first movie into the player and sat next to Sonata and wrapped an arm around her waist. It was silent between them as they watched the movie. It was a movie about love between animals. After a while Aria broke the silence. "Sonata?" "Hm?" "Uh... I-I... I have a question..." "What is it?" Aria began to blush furiously and hesitated, "C'mon, Blaze! go for it!" she thought to herself. "I was wondering... Uh... Do you want to b-be... my g-g... girlfriend?" Aria stammered. Sonata hugged her tightly and kissed her passionately. Aria pulled her close and brought her other hand to Sonata's cheek. "So... I guess that's a yes?" asked Aria as they parted. "Oh Ari, of course!" After another few hours of cuddling, kissing and more movies it was late in the evening and both girls went upstairs to get ready to go to bed. Aria and Sonata took their headbands out and got into their pajamas. "You look beautiful with your hair down." said Sonata. "Thank you, sweetheart." Aria kissed her cheek, "You too." "Aaaw, you never called me sweetheart before." said Sonata with a big grin. "Then I should start now." said Aria and gently kissed her new girlfriend. After this they snuggled up in Aria's bed. Sonata rested her head on Aria's chest and her arms around her waist. Aria was gently stroking her hair. "Ari?" asked Sonata. "Yeah?" Aria murmured half asleep. "I love you." Sonata said softly. Aria pulled her closer and kissed her forehead. "I love you too."
