"Binding, do you have any more dragon books in? I haven't experienced any birthing yet, and I don't know what to do." The light violet unicorn entered the library. Binding, a light pink earth pony with candy-blue eyes and two solid pink pigtails, was the current librarian.

She checked the dragon shelf, and said, "Oh! It turns out we do, Aurora! It's a story book though, is that okay?" Binding asked Aurora. She pulled it of the shelf and handed it to the violet mare. Her magenta eyes glanced over the book. She flipped through it quickly, catching a part where the mother dragon crushed the egg shell and fed it, along with crushed gems, to the baby dragon.

"This is perfect! I knew it had something to do with the shell!" said Aurora, and she closed the book. "Here, I'll just copy down the part that I need." Aurora wrote down the part of the book she needed, then handed it back to Binding. "Also, I need something to occupy time, like an adventure book."

Binding said, "We've got the newest issue of 'Manehattan Hero's' if you want that." Aurora nodded and checked out the book. She called a thanks over her shoulder as she left.

"Howdy, there Miss Bindin'. Is that yer name? Bindin'? Anyway, I need some help." A young sky blue pegasus mare came in. She had a mane that followed the Roy G. Biv pattern of the rainbow, massive wings, and a set of sparkling magenta eyes. She had a largely noticable country accent, and her mane was flat and long against her back. "I came to Ponyville knowin' it had THE MOST fertile land to be found in all of Equestria. I just need to know where the city hall is to purchase some land."

"Oh, of course, Miss..."

"Spectral Jubilee. Pardon my momentary lack o' manners there, ah guess ah just fergot to tell ya."

"Well, Spectral, the Town Hall, run by Mayor Mare, is rather close to the library. You go straight for about 6 buildings, then go left, and there you are!" Binding continued as Spectral Jubilee left, "I hope to see you again soon!"

"Thank ya kindly, Miss Bindin'!" Spectral called back, waving goodbye.

She must've heard my name around town, Binding thought as she organized the new delivery of books on the shelves. Or when she came in, since Aurora called my name when she left.

"So... Ponyville, huh?"

"Yeah, Rare. It's got tons of scheduled races, plenty of open space, and paths so smooth you'd think somepony took a sander and removed all the 'splinters'!"

"That sounds like a splendid place to go!" said Rare.

"Api, you've gone too long without making a sale. I'm going to have to suspend your work here until you can sell another outfit!"

"But-"

"No buts here. I can see that you've sold to all the bigger towns in Equestria except for... Ponyville. I suggest you pack your things and head down there."

"Yes, sir..."

"Ah, a small town indeed. I just knew I'd find a town that needed more smiles! All right, Balloon, you've got your balloons," the mare giggled, "your kazoo, your One-Mare Orchestra, the confetti canon, and... that should be all! Here we go, ON TO PONYVILLE!"
