It was a beautiful sunset in Ponyville.The ceremony was over and the reception had just begun.The room was full of ponies and positive emotions.
The pink pony hugged her donkey friends with all her strength
“CONGRATULATIONS, CRANKY AND MATILDA! I LOVE YOU GUYS!”
“We love you too, Pinkie” Cranky said, pulling away and groaning.
“We wouldn´t be here if it wasn't for you, Pinkie Pie.Thanks” Matilda said, trying hard not to cry, her makeup had took too long and she wasn't going to ruin anything about that wonderful moment “Well, it´s time to throw the bouquet”
The female donkey waved her hoof to all the single mares in the room and they all followed her outside.
“MINE!” Rarity shouted, waving her whooves
“Well ain't this deja vu” Applejack smirked, getting as far away from the bride as she could.
Once the bouquet was thrown, it dashed through the skies and ended up getting stuck in Lyra's horn.
“Well, well, well.” Bon Bon, or rather, Sweetie Drops smirked, looking at her best friend “I'm happy for you, Lyra”
Lyra blushed, taking the flowers off her horn with her magic and scratching the back of her neck nervously “I…..Don't think so”
“Why?” The earth pony asked, her eyebrow rising ever so slowly, as always.
Lyra looked around.Celestia and Luna had just finished turning day into night, the stars were shining brighter than they ever did before and everypony was hugging and congratulating the just-married-couple with tears in their eyes, love spreading all around.
It was the perfect moment to tell her, to hug her and spit out what really WAS her darkest secret.Who cared about the special, imported oats? Nopony, well, not Lyra, at least.
She looked back to her friend, still waiting for a response.Her beautiful dark blue eyes staring at her golden ones.She sighed
“Because…….I don't know, marriage just………..Isn't for me”
“Well, if you ever change your mind, you already have your best mare” She pointed to herself, a smile returning to her beautiful pale yellow face
“Yeah, sure” Lyra tried to hide how she was feeling with a small smile herself.
Luckily, the earth pony didn´t notice and hugged her friend happily, making her face go from green to red.
“Um…………..Sweetie Drops?” The unicorn said, her voice cracking because of the strangeness of the name
“Guess that´s my name now Right?” She chuckled “Yeah, Lyre?”
“Promise you won't lie to me anymore? Ever?”
“I will if you do”
The unicorn nodded and looked around again.They were standing in the middle of the street completely alone.This should be the perfect moment but…..
“I promise”
“Me too”
“Pinkie Promise?”
“Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye” The earth pony made the gesture.
Knowing that noone could break a Pinkie Promise, Lyra smiled and embraced her oldest friend.
“Speaking of cupcakes, I'm starving, let's get some”
“Okay then”
They walked towards the town hall, pleased smiles on their faces
“I love you, Lyre”
“I love you too, Drops, more than you'll ever know”
There was a silence between the two and Lyra realized something
“Does that mean you crack your voice on purpose?”
“Yeah, duh.Is all a part of hiding myself.I guess I won´t have to anymore”
“I don't know.If you want to keep doing it, I don't mind.In fact, IT´S HILARIOUS!”
“You think so?”
“Yeah”
Sweetie Drops cleared her throat “WELL, THANK YOU, MY FRIEND!!” She said, making an annoying and loud country accent.
Lyra burst out laughing, her cheeks red and hot as fire
“You haven't changed a bit”

Back at the hall, Dinky ran to Derpy and Sparkler, who were talking the day over with some daisy sandwiches.The little unicorn squealed several times until, finally, the two mares looked at her.
“MOMMY! SPARKY! AUNTIE LYRA CAUGHT THE BOUQUET!”
“She DID?” Derpy smiled, clearly happy for her life-long friend “Well, whoever it is, let's just wait he treats her well”
“I wouldn´t be worried about that, ma, Lyre knows how to choose them” Sparkler said, levitating a glass of apple juice to her lips
“Unlike me” The pegasus looked at the floor sadly “Which reminds me How's your father doing?”
“Fine, I think.Mrs. Carrot Top is pregnant” The bright pink mare informed with a smile
“AND I'M GOING TO BE AN OLDER SISTER!” Dinky smiled, obviously excited about everything
Derpy smiled back “Nice”
“Are YOU gonna marry again, mommy?” The young unicorn asked, her yellow eyes sparkling with joy and desire.
Before Derpy could answer her daughter's question, with a No probably, a very familiar stallion broke in.He arranged his incredibly long scarf and offered the pegasus mare his brown hoof.
“Excuse me, miss Whooves? Can I have this dance?” Doctor Time Turner asked, his cheeks rosy
The gray mare blushed back and smiled “O-okay, yes you can.” She took his hoof and her daughters smirked “But I warn you, I'm not a good dancer”
He chuckled “Neither am I, miss” He looked at the filly and the adolescent sitting behind them “Excuse us, young ladies”
“Of course, mr. doctor” Sparkler said, holding her sister's hoof
“Time Turner, you´ve known me long enough”
As their mother went to the dancefloor with her longtime friend, Dinky Whooves squealed
“I take that as a yes”
Her sister caressed her cheek with her long, lavender tail “Now let's not rush things up, Dink, just a slow dance”

Berry Punch put a hoof on her mouth to keep herself from burping and motioned for another drink
“Another one?” The bartender raised an eyebrow
“I tell you when I had enough” She said, giving him three bits.
The green unicorn beside her, lifting her up.
“Oh, hi there, Lyre”
“Hey, Berry, careful there Would you? This is a wedding”
“Sure” She snorted
They got their drinks.After a bit of silence, Berry got tired
“OKAY, SPIT IT UP!”
“Aaaaaaaaaaand SHE'S DEAD!” She rolled her eyes at her friend
“No, I'm not THAT drunk yet.I mean What happened after you caught the bouquet? Did you tell her?”
She shook her head
Now it was Berry the one rolling her eyes “Of course you didn´t”
They both turned at the dance floor and spotted the blue haired unicorn and the black haired earth pony playing in the bottom.The pink earth pony pointed towards them
“What are you so afraid of? They made it work and Vinyl´s mute”
Lyra face hoofed herself “You´re always pointing that out.You need to be more sensible, Punch”
“And YOU need more drinks”
“You´re right, it´s been quite the day, you know.But all worth it”
They smiled at the happy just-married couple dancing in the center of the room, surrounded by lots of not-married ones
“I can imagine”
“AW”
“I´m happy for everyone”
