Some days you feel like doing nothing, others you feel like you can take on the world, but today was not one of those days. You can't call me lazy as it's a Monday morning and Twilight let me sleep in all weekend and even eat in my own bed. And I really don't fee-

"SPIKE, GET DOWN HERE WE HAVE WORK TO DO!" Twilight's voice boomed through the castle.

"......speak of devil....COMING!" Spike yelled back, still resting in his bed. Spike slowly got out of bed, throwing his blanket in the corner of his room. He began to pull himself through the castle hallways.

"HURRY UP, FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!" Twilight yelled again.

He tried to walk faster but tripped on his own feet and fell face first. "I knew I should stayed in bed," Spike said, in a annoyed tone.

He stayed lying down until he heard hooves coming his way and stopped in front of him. "Spike... you alright?" Twilight asked.

"Twilight...why today? Why? work today? " Spike asked, still with his face in the floor. Twilight said nothing and elevated him onto her back.

"Oh God, not this aga- whoo, Twilight stop!"Spike yelled. Twilight was doing her thing; she like the call GET the hell up and what she was acting like a wild bull.

"Are you awake or do you want round two?" Twilight asked with a smile.

"I'm awake," Spike said.

"Great, the girls and I have little something to give you," Twilight said with a smile.

We were sitting at that big table the Mane 6 called the Table of Harmony.

Twilight let me sit in her chair and in front of me was a big red and yellow striped box.

"Well, open it," Rainbow Dash said with a smirk.

I had been about to place my hands over the box's lid to see what they got me, but I started to think. Why were they giving me present? It wasn't Christmas or my birthday, but then I put two and two together: they wanted me to do something for them.

"The answer is no! I am not going DO it!" I said angrily. They all looked at each other in confusion.

"What are you talking about, darling?" Rarity asked confusedly.

"You guys always do this when you want me to do something, and then you six run off to an adventure! It's annoying when you guys get to go on the crazy adventures while I am doing your taxes!" I yelled.

"Look, Spike, it is very important that we you stay here in Ponyville while we go on a very important mission that the Table of Harmony gave to us," Twilight said, calmly.

"What is you need me to do? Clean-up? It's a table, Twi, you pay more attention to it more than me?" I said.

The girls looked at each other and Pinkie Pie spoke: "Well, Applejack wants you look after Apple Bloom, Rarity wants you to do the same for Sweetie Belle, and Rainbow Dash wants the same for Scootaloo."

Once Pinkie Pie said that, I snapped. I hated those three. They were annoying, and I thought Apple Bloom had a crush on me, which is creepy. Twilight already knew this and she chose ME to watch after them? Why not the Cakes; they love kids. There's a retarded gray horse out there, eating muffins, and she loves kids and they go and choose ME. But I already knew they wouldn't let me come on the the adventure, so what the point of fighting?

"Fine, I'll watch them," I said as I getting down from the chair

"Great the girls and I-" Twilight was cut off to see me already out of the room.

"He didn't even open his present" Fluttershy said, sadly.

"I better go talk to him," Twilight said

"Sugarcube, wait. We should probably leave him alone," Applejack said.

"You're right. We're already running late; we should get the girls ready," Twilight said, with a little sadness in her voice.

The girls walked out and Spike was in his bed sleeping.

It was white all around me and in front of me was Twilight, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie.

"Twilight!" I yelled, joyfully. I tried running but couldn't move.

"Ha, look at you! You're useless!" Twilight laughed, while the others joined in.

"What!?" Spike exclaimed, shocked.

"You think we care about you?" Rainbow Dash yelled.

"Why do you think we leave you at home while we go have adventures?" Fluttershy said.

"We all use you-- Well, mostly me," Rarity laughed.

"What an idiot," Pinkie Pie said.

"Face it, Spike you're useless to us," Applejack said.

They all began to walk off leaving me in tears. I looked up to see them disappear.

"Spike, Spike, Spike...... Wake up!" a voice yelled.

I woke up to see Twilight and the three fillies I wasn't too happy to see.

"Yeah, what do you want?" I asked, sullenly.

Twilight was taken aback by his tone of voice. Was he mad? she thought to herself, but she quickly focused on girls.

"Girls, be good to Spike and I promise he will be good to you," Twilight said with a smile.

"I can't promise that, but I will try," Scootaloo said, but Sweetie Belle quickly nudged her in the arm.

"We got ya, Twilight," Apple Bloom said with a smile. Twilight smiled back and walked closer to my bed.

"Spike, I promise we will hang out when I get back. Just you and me. Does that sound good?" Twilight asked, but I didn't answer. "I love you and I left some bits on the counter," Twilight said. She hugged me and gave me a kiss on the forehead.

Twilight walked out the room, looking back at the angry dragon.

"What the hell was that all about?" Scootaloo laughed.

"Shut up, Scootaloo! Can't you tell he's going through some stuff!" Sweetie Belle yelled.

I said nothing and put my head back down to catch some sleep.

"Spike, you ok?" Apple Bloom asked.

I put my head up and looked at the girls. "Look, we will do something when I wake up. In the meantime, watch tv or play outside and there's food in the fridge," I said, annoyed.

"Ok," Apple Bloom responded, and the girls walked out the room, shutting the door.
