After Discord is reformed he starts spending time with Princess Celestia and Celestia develops strong feelings for him. Discord, not knowing how to react, gets mad. Celestia feels like it was her fault and becomes depressed. Discord realizes that he over reacted and wants to show her that he feels wrong but he doesn't know how. Cadence thinks she can help and without really trying she ends up getting them to fall in love. Celestia and Discord keep their love a secret knowing that if anypony knew they would be separated.

Prologue

Long ago when Equestria was still young Queen Galaxia reigned supreme. She lived with her husband and her two children, Celestia and Luna. They had a normal life except for the Queen's secret. Everypony knew they had prisoners but what nopony knew was that one of the prisoners had been inprisoned from birth. A draconequus named Discord for his chaotic nature. Though he never knew what he was capable of. The Queen was the only one who knew of his existence. She warned she children to never go down to the dungeon but one of them didn't listen. One day her eldest daughter, Celestia went into the dungeon out of curiosity and found herself face to face with the soon to be master of chaos. It was dark in the dungeon and Discord mistook Celestia for her mother at first. "Get away from me you disgusting, hideous wench!" He screamed not sure of who he was talking to. "Wait, your not...... Oh, I'm so sorry. What's your name?" He asked. "C-Celestia." She said frightened by his threatening remark. She paused "What's your name?" She asked. "Discord." He replied. "Forgive me for asking but, what are you?" She asked politely. "I am a draconequus, creature of chaos as the Queen would say." He said. "The Queen?" She was confused. "Yes, do you know her?" He asked. "She's my mother, but why would she say that? You seem pretty normal to me." She said. "You're a princess? Can you get me out of here?" He asked. "I don't know how or where the keys are." She said. They stared at each other for a while not knowing what to do. "Why are you down here?" Celestia asked. "I wish I knew." Discord said.

Prologue part 2

As the years went on Celestia began to spend time with the lonely draconequus. Discord had learned of his magical talents and was using them for good instead of evil. Celestia's father was dead and her mother had become aware of her and Discord's friendship. One day Celestia divised a plan to free her friend. She waited for her mother to leave and she grabbed the keys to Discord's cell. "What are you doing?!" Discord asked. "Getting you out of here!" She replied.
