The clanging of swords ring through out the air as Chris oversees the ponies extensive training, the royal security ponies soon turning into the Equestrian Royal Army. Chris watches as the ponies, roll, somersault, dive and do basic acrobatics to dodge the swords being swung at them by their opponents. After the incident at the Canterlot city square with the changeling ambassador, Luna taking over the military operations pointed out the multiple threats that surrounded Equestria. Most noticeably the Gryphons and the Changelings. As of yet the Gryphons have been on a conquering spree, roaming the borders unchecked and attacking at will.

Chris growls at the thought of these bird brained bastards getting their claws on whatever they can find. Their reign of terror will be put to an end no doubt about it. Thankfully Celestia was recuperating and was laying in her bed, sipping on a cup of tea, Chris knocks with a firm fist against the door as a calm voice asked, "Who is it?"

Chris clears his throat and answers, "It is your royal bodyguard, Chris." He stands with his hands behind his back awaiting the Princess' response.

"You may enter." Celestia replies as Chris opens the doors and walks in, he stops a few feet from the bed and gets on one knee then lowers his head to show respect.

She smiles warmly and raised a hoof for her faithful servant to rise, "Any reports on our growing army?"

Chris pulls out a piece of paper and begins to read his findings, "Well we are getting a steady amount of recruits day by day. Most need work but the ones that are already in service are acclamating well to the fighting techniques I have introduced to them. Ever since spying on a gryphon war camp and seeing them train, these ponies are way ahead of their combat capabilities by decades if not more."

Celestia nods as she is greatly impressed with what Chris had to offer. Already his ideas and input has strategically aided the ponies defenses but wasnt sure about offensive movements. Still she left those matters with the human as he was more experienced in that category.

"If you'll excuse me princess I have but one final training lesson for the day I have to show the soldiers." He bows low as Celestia nods her approval.

"You may go my faithful servant." She says as Chris smiles and walks out, the Royal Security Ponies close the door.

"Alright. Gather round, gather round." He says as the recruits gather around him and a large sheet screen.

"Lets see if I can get this connected." He fiddles around with the device and his phone, trying to connect the wires and such to the port.

The ponies whisper to each other wondering what their commander was trying to do. Suddenly the device activated and showed a black screen with a triangle symbol.

"Alright! Here we go. Listen up, final lesson. Everypony here has been training using advance fighting techniques I brought back from a land that has been around for thousands of years. While I was at said country I learned the forms, the movements and sword fighting that I am teaching you now. This video here will show you the real thing. How it looks and the results. Watch and learn." Chris announces as he presses the play button on his phones screen.

The video shows a man with a decent beard, oriental in nature and a headband, he was silent for a bit before he spoke in a language unknown to the ponies but the subtitles below made it easier to understand, "Clear the way, or all of you will die a treacherous death."

It then switches to another man, a bald one with a beard wearing brown armor obviously looking beaten and worn down, "So be it! You will have to kill us all to get through here!"

The video then shows two opposing forces, one tan and one black and grey in a dense forest. The ponies look on in awe, wondering what will happen. Chris knows the ponies will want answers as to who is what so he decides to pause and speak.

"What is happening here is the Tang Chinese forces are on the run from the Gogureoyo forces. The main general Dae JoYoung has made an ultimatum. We will see how that ends." He plays the video again as the standoff continues.

"I repeat. There will be no mercy for anyone who stands in our way." The general warns, "So clear the way!"

The leading Tang commander bares his teeth, "What are you waiting for? Kill Dae JoYoung!" he yells out as he unsheathes his sword.

The next commander unsheathes his as well and yells out an order, "Fight to the end! Protect General Li Kaigu!"

Dae JoYoung smiles, "Very well. You've chosen death so we will kill you all." He raises his hand to signal his troops, "Attack!'

Dae JoYoungs brother, Gulsabiwu glares at the enemy as he also yells out, "Attack! Wipe them out!"

The ponies then watched a battle they have never seen, the human soldiers fighting in moves they never thought of until Chris showed up. The general and the tang commander continued to fight in close range, Dae JoYoung using his momentum to dodge the attacks and land a few kicks at the chest and back. Gulsabiwu swings his sword and was countered by the other tang commander as they continued to jump, spin and deflect each others swings for a while, evenly matched.

Eventually the two Tang commanders were killed as the ponies cheered, Chris turns off the video as the ponies look at Chris.

"Tomorrow you will be training in new techniques and ever evolving environments. Also, we will be trying out a new weapon i'm sure the likes of which you never seen before."

The ponies all mutter to each other wondering what he was talking about as Princess Luna shows up, the ponies all stand at attention but Chris as he turns and kneels before her, "My Princess."

She smiles and nuzzles her mate, "Rise my faithful guard." He obeys as he stands before her, "You have all trained well, we hast seen it. Thou hast seen fit to grant you all a nights rest and later start." The ponies look to each other with smiles on their faces.

Chris smiles as well, he was feeling a bit generous as the ponies did put alot of effort into this training day.

"9 am on the dot. Go to your quarters and get some well earned sleep. You ponies made me proud today." Chris yells out as the ponies stood at attention and saluted, "YES SIR!" With that final response they all bolted to let their exhausted bodies plop onto their cots.

Luna then turns to Chris as she lets her hoof trail down his chest, sliding down further until she gets to his pants. "You. Me. Tonight. My Quarters." She smirks as Chris grins.

"Luna... baby i'm close." Chris pants as he continues to shove his dick deep into her.

"Alright bring out the cannon!" Chris orders as the two blacksmith ponies bring out a large iron tube, rolling it along a wooden box like carriage, the ponies all wondered what it could be and what it could do.

Chris sets up the loading powders and charges along with a cannonball, with that he starts the loading process. He takes a large scoop of blackpowder and throws it in as well as throw in another charging powder, yellow in color, before setting in a block of wood for the wad, he takes out the ram rod and pushes it down quickly, finally picking up the large iron cannonball, he sets it in and pushes it in as well. He quickly goes to the rear of the cannon and lines the sight up with his target, a group of dummy gryphons with fake swords and a very cheesy face drawings that only kids could've done.

Princess Celestia now fully recovered and out of bed as well as he younger sister Luna sat in a multi colored tent, watching several feet away. Eager to see what this contraption would do. Finally finishing his corrections, Chris grabs the torch stick and lights the fuse as he backs away.

"You might as well cover your ears." he warns as the ponies lay their ears flat and cover it with their hooves, as the fuse finally gets burnt away, the ponies did not expect what came next. A loud boom, a sound that dwarves the sound Chris rifle makes came out of the cannon as well as a big flash of fire spitting out of the barrel as the ponies all duck to the ground in fear. Celestia and Luna both squeak and jump from their seats, their guards dropping their weapons and shaking in their armor, definitely afraid as everyone watches the group of fake gryphons explode in a cloud of dirt.

When the dirt settles the fake gryhpon squad was nothing more than bits and pieces, a large crater was where the fake squad was at before as Chris nods and shrugs his shoulders, "Not bad for a first time." He says to himself as he walks down and motions for the ponies to get up.

"Alright... now you now what this is. A cannon. These weapons at this time you are in now, is a very VERY advanced weapon. A weapon that will change the tide of this oncoming war."

The ponies all look to each other, Chris is no stranger to fear and worry.

"Listen, these will be beneficial to us, and us only. With the proper training these weapons will be your friend and your greatest ally. Now who's ready to learn!?" The ponies stand up and cheer, "Huzzah!

Several months later

Chris was talking with a carpenter pony, talking about the design of the new ships that are being built for the Royal Equestrian Navy. Ships that were going to be outfitted with the new cannons and ready seaponies eager to go out and engage in their first battle against the Gryphon War Boats.

"And I want a decent sized compartment to hold alot of ammo and cannons, i've seen first hand what happens when there isn't enough ammo to spare." Chris warns as he looks back to the time he watched a famous korean war movie, where the crew of a famous admirals ship only has one metal dart.

"Understood sire. We will see to it that these ships get the compartments you requested. The estimated time will be several weeks at most."

Chris sighs, "We need to hurry up with the construction, we already got word that the Gryphon pirates are pillaging the coastal ports and savagely killing innocent ponies wherever they find them. I want these bird brains to know that the Equestrian military is going to kick their ass." He threatens as the carpenter pony stares then shakes his head trying to get himself to concentrate.

"We will get it done as soon as possible my lord." Chris looks to the pony when he said lord, he doesn't like that title, he feels he is just Chris and holds no title over them.

"Just call me Chris Table Wood." The human says jokingly as he pats the pony in the back.

This is going to be part one of the chapter leading up to the grand debut of the Equestrian Navy. The ponies will be in for a fight of their lives. Anyways leave a comment, like, a critique anything really. Hope you all enjoy this.
