//-------------------------------------------------------// Sarah Strong's adventures in Equestria -by Royal Radiance- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Intro //-------------------------------------------------------// Intro Sarah Strong was not your ordinary, average woman, she absolutely abhorred makeup, gossip made her want to throw up a little in her mouth (although she Definitely, wasn't afraid to argue, that she excelled at, most would avoid arguing with her no matter how mad they were due to the fact that her razor sharp logic and wit made the person being argued with practically beg for mercy when she was done with them) finally, but not the last thing she hated about the female stereotype was the whole "man is in charge" crap, if any man dare tell that to her face would receive an enraged punch in the gut (despite this, Sarah was a lover not a fighter, but she would not stand for such things as being an avid pursuer of justice.) One day her life would change, while Sarah was much smarter than the average person, till this day,she never knew for the better. It was a normal day, Sarah was at work past time to leave, and would be unpaid since what she was working on was not assigned to her. That was another part about her, she was a workaholic, for a few months she has been saving up and working on her latest project. She always had extra projects like this outside of work. After working with her tools for about an hour, she seized tooling around and stepped back to admire her handy work. Finally, after painstaking hours of saving up for this and working for hours after work on this, it was complete. Enough, staring, let's fire this up!Sarah, thought excitingly. She then proceeded to start up the machine. She pulled the lever and the machine whirred to life. "Whooshing" and "whirring" sounds were made as a swirling vortex of plasma spun violently in the middle of a metal archway that projects the whirling mass. I can't believe it. I'm going to see if this works. She thought, positively reeling and giggling like a schoolgirl. Sarah stepped into the machine and she flew through a tunnel, she heard an explosion and looked to where she had entered, a look of horror was plastered on her face as she realized that her only way of getting back was gone. She hoped to herself that she wouldn't be teleported far from her device. That was when she felt weary and blacked out. "Hey...," questioned a female voice as the footsteps she made sounded like they were getting closer,"are you alright?" "Yeah, thanks for asking," Sarah replied without lifting her head to see the source of the voice. She looked up to see a purple pony with a horn and wings, she screamed at the sight of a talking pony. Wow, I must of hit my head too hard, I must be seeing things. "Hello, I'm Princess Twilight Sparkle, who and what are you?" "Hello, your majesty," she said,as much as Sarah still didn't want to believe that there was a pony talking to her, the least she could do is respect her royal status,"my name is Sarah Strong and I am a human." "Please," Twilight replied,"don't call me princess, I want to be treated like anypony else, just call me Twilight. Also, a pleasure it is to meet you. And what did you say you were again?" "Nice to met you too, Twilight, I am a human," Sarah repeated, at the mention of that, her jaw drops wide open. "I'm not hearing this right, a-a human? That's impossible, humans died long before ponies came into existence, supposedly. Most historians debate if humans even existed, the evidence is debatable. Could this be true, are you really a human? Oh, how exciting if you are!" "Yes, I'm most certainly a human," Sarah said annoyingly. "But that raises a question, how? Humans are supposed to be extinct, how are you here to talk to me if you're not supposed to exist?" "Well I was at my job working on a non work related project which was supposed to teleport me a feet or so from the machine, apparently it went wrong and I ended up here." That's unfortunate, I'll try to find a way to get you home, until then you are welcome to stay with me and make friends while you're at it." "Thanks, Pinc- sorry, Twilight! I can't thank you enough, the only thing is I don't want any other friends besides you, we're friends, right?" "Of course, Sarah," she said before frowning and wore an annoyed look on her visage,"you sound like me when Princess Celestia sent me here to make friends. Don't underestimate the power of friendship, it can do amazing things, you never know, a friend might turn out to be your sole mate." "Who's Princess Celestia?" "She is the co-ruler of this land, Equestria. She is my mentor and I was her protoge until I became a princess. She also is tasked with raising and lowering the sun." "W-what one pony can raise an entire star, I don't believe that in the slightest." "What, nopony raises your sun where you're from?" "No, my planet is pulled around the sun by gravity, a force that allows falling and keeps the planet held together. The sun is a large nuclear reactor in essence, as well as hundreds of millions times larger than our planet,and keeps all life alive." "Wow, your world is fascinating!" "There's much more to my world, but that's for later, let's go back to your house." "Alright," she says plainly. The two walk or trot over to Twilight's palace. Ponies give Sarah looks of confusion and awe as you are making my way downtown(go to this link: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UjoXOIC7Aqg) Sarah, approaches a large multi colored crystal palace, her jaw, if it could separate from her head, would have dropped to the ground. "T-this is your house? I know you're a princess but, wow! Back where I'm from you could buy a few countries with that, and maybe then some." "Thanks, I get praise from ponies all the time about it but you seem the most impressed." The two entered as the large golden doors, they walked into the conference room, where they were greeted by a certain baby dragon. "Hello, Spike, I've got a new guest to show you!" "That's great, what's they're-," Spike said as in shock, he dropped the tray of tea,"w-what's that?" "Hey, I'm not that ugly," Sarah said, annoyed," I am a human." "No way, Twilight said humans went extinct long ago, you can't be a human, no what are you really?" "Like I told you, I'm a human, Twilight, back me up." "She's telling the truth, Spike, she tried building a teleportation device and when that went wrong, she ended up here. I heard a thundering sound that was louder than any thunderstorm I've ever heard, curious I investigated and found her." "I can't believe it, a human, in the flesh." "Same goes here, in my world, dragons were once thought to be what really are dinosaurs, giant, usually wingless, reptilian creatures." "Sounds like a dragon to me." "Except they're not,they are totally different animals. Ok, so I'm hungry, could we get something to eat?" "Sure, and in fact I've prepared a salad for everypony." The three ate and talked amongst each other. Spike and Twilight learned about Sarah's job and a little about earth. Sarah learned about Spike's crush on Rarity and about Twilight's studies in magic and friendship. After they ate, they noticed that it was getting late and so they set out to sleep. Sarah slept in a room for guests and the others where they normally did.
