Twilight has an idea, she wants to improve the efficacy of Celestia's portal to the other world. Ensuring that it will last regardless of the number of times she uses it.

Yet as the old saying goes: if it's not broke don't fix it. After getting pulled into a whole new world Twilight and Rainbow Dash are in for a surprise when they meet another version of themselves; a version which will open their eyes to new possibilities that go far beyond what friendship is capable of.
