Weight of the crown

A normal day in ponyville...at least it would be if there wasn't a certain purple alicorn bouncing down the streets of ponyville with her slightly embarrassed cowpony friend.

"Twilight can yah stop bouncing around like that!" Aj says through gritted teeth.

"I'm sorry Apple jack but I'm just so excited to meet a new Alicorn. You don't know how long I searched through history books a magical books just looking for one. And now I found one here in ponyville all this time" Twi exclaims holding up a book in her magic.

"Are you sure? How do you even know?" Her friend asked. Twilight stopped bouncing and blushed. She turned to her friend and smiled sheepishly.

Aj facehooved "Let me guess, You don't even know".

"Well the facts are all there and well I can't really explain but I can tell you what I know" Twilight opens the book with her magic and begins reading.

"They say that after the time of nightmare moon a whole bunch of ponies suffered losses or injuries. One of the staff in castle of the two pony sisters were expecting until she got terribly hurt from the castle debris. Celestia felt guilty feeling as if it were her fault for not stopping her sister earlier or at least evacuating the castle and kingdom. So she heeled the mare as an apology. The foal that she had was a unicorn and so were the other generation foals. Up until a mare named Summer moved to unica an island just over the seas from here in equestria. She then had eight children one of those children was named Faith, the second oldest. Faith had her first two fillies on that island. She then came to Equestria with her oldest filly and met a stallion named five star. She had a colt then six years later a filly after the last filly was born they mysteriously disappeared. Some say that she went back to unica. But look!" Twilight held a book up to Aj's face. It was a picture of a lime green mare unicorn with a brown mane in a bun. Her cutie mark was a house with stars around it. Under it said name: Faith Decor, Race: unicorn Age:45, Spouse: Five star, Foals: 4, Career: Home upgrading, years as resedent: 11

"It has all the information about her and her family. Even pictures of her foals. But here's where it led me on to believe that her youngest is an Alicorn" Twi onces again shoved the book into Aj's face.

Name: Dream pearl, Age: 11, Race: ?, Career: Ponyville Elementary (second year). There was no picture.

"Ah have to admit that is very suspicious. But what if they just didn't have the time to finish her record" Apple jack said.

"Aj, they moved here eleven years ago. They had plenty time" Twilight said blankly.

"I don't think-"

"We're here!" Twi cut Aj off.

It was a beautiful town house with many colorful flowers out side. Outside of it was the same mare from the picture watering the flowers with a yellow flowering can it her green magic. Next to her on the floor was a filly no bigger than the crusaders playing with a dirt pile. tail with a light purple color that sweeps the floor. On her head was a lighter color purple bow. Her eyes were a bright purple color. She was wearing a light pink sun dress tied with a ribbon the same color as the one in her hair.

When she saw the element of honesty she smiled and waved but when she saw Twilight she ran over to Faith and whispered in her ear. Faith turned and looked at Twi before nodding her head at the door. The filly ran inside and proceeded to look out the window.

"Good afternoon Princess, how can I help you. Do you need me to decorate your castle do you need furniture, want me to paint your walls, or I can-"

"That won't be necessary mrs" Twi cut her off. "I'm here to talk about you daughter"

"Which one do you mean my oldest Magnify? Or do you mean Purple cloth?" she asked.

Twilight shook her head.

"I need to talk to you and Pearl. Maybe inside?"

The mare nervously smiled and began to sweat.

"Of course come right in." Faith opened the door and allowed the two to go in first. The living room was all white.

"Sorry about the white I didn't know what color to paint the walls so I wasn't able to figure out what color couch-"

"Where's Pearl" Twi asked sternly.

"Of course. I'll be back" Faith Decor left the room without a word.

"Why do you even need me" Aj whispers.

"Your the element of honesty you know when somepony is lying right off the spot so if they try to slip by a lie just cough" Twi says Aj.

Faith comes trotting down the steps with Pearl twenty minutes later. The filly was now wearing a light purple jump suit. The arms and legs were short enough for the early summer weather outside.

"I'm sorry for the wait but this little pegasus filly just loves her outfits" Faith says pulling her daughter closer to her.

Aj coughed.

"No you really didn't have to change or get dressed up either you can take the out off now it looks uncomfortable" Twilight says.

"It's ok I like them" She says in a small voice.

Cough

"Now I just noticed that there's no information on what race you are"

"There isn't? We never knew that"says Faith who is still sweating.

Cough

"So ms.Decor I noticed that your son and husband are pegasus while you and your eldest daughters are unicorns how is pearl an earth pony?" Twi asked.

"Oh no, my little pearl is a unicorn" Faith says using her magic to pull the bow on pearls head to the back revealing a filly sized horn.

"Is that so, well if I can recall just five minutes ago you called her a pegasus" the alicorn says.

Faith looks lost for words and pearl starts to tremble.

"Pearl, may you please take the outfit off" Twi asked kindly.

The filly doesn't move.

"Pearl please sweetheart just do as she says" Her mother asked.

Pearl doesn't move.

Twilight slowly moves closer to pearl. When the alicorns hoof touches her back she bolts for the door.

The adults in the room jump up. Twilight and Apple jack run for the door after the filly.

"Don't worry Faith we won't hurt her" Twi says to the mother befor leaving.

Faith smiles after they leave and pulls a book from under her couch. Opening it to a marked page she stares at a picture of a stallion with a pure white coat with a ragid curly light purple mane and bright blue eyes.

"You can't touch her now. The elements are on our side"
