“hey are you open??”

“h-hang on im coming” i said getting up from the old table and placing my glasses on the side table. I slowly walked down the stairs trying to see who’s at the door. As i walked up to the door my horn started glowing and the door knob slowly glowed and turned to the left to open the door. The door slowly creaked open and standing there in the doorway was a medium sized purple unicorn with a large magic cutie mark. She looked up at me with a curious look on her face.

“I’m sorry if I’m disturbing you i just notice that this book store was new in town and i just wondered if i could have a look around??”

“yea sure just ask me if you need anything” I turned around and slowly trotted towards the back of the room. The purple unicorn trotted over to the first book shelf named history. She picked up the first book and opened to the first page.

“wow ive never seen this book before and I’ve seen all books in Equestria where did you get this?”

“i collect them ive been around a few years”

“but these books are first edition and were published over 1000 years ago” said a very confused unicorn.

“d-do you want a drink?” i said trying to avoid her questions.

“oh yes please. i haven’t had a drink all day”I turned around and headed towards the kitchen to make us drinks.

“by the way i didn’t catch your name. Im elements...” i said curiously.

“oh... my name is twilight sparkle”

“Well its nice to meet you twilight” i said carrying the drinks into the store.i sat down on a near by pillow and started drinking before twilight brought back her questions.

“like i said how did you get these books, there first edition on some very great topics also...”

“i was there” i whispered.

“what??”

“i was there” i said raising my voice .

“but you couldn’t have been that was over 1000 years ago how cou...” said a confused twilight sitting next to me with her cup glowing behind her.

I looked down slowly and sighed. A tear drop fell from my eye and i looked up. I slowly got to my hooves and undid my jacket. i dropped my jacket on the table and turned round to twilight.

“i-i-im a monster.” And with that i stretched my wings to there max size the ends of my wings pulsating next to the roof.

“oh my” she said shocked at what she had seen.

“your a... your a alicorn. There nothing wrong about that, i know friends who are alicorns and ill be happy to...” she stopped to the look on my face.

“I’m not an alicorn I’m a monster!!” i said saddened.

I looked up at twilight. “let me tell you a story on how i got these wings”

“wait. You mean you wasn’t born with those” she said shocked. I shook my head in disappointment.

“when i was just a filly. I had a friend, a small red Pegasus with a yellow mane and tail. he had large green eyes and all ways liked to play. His name was flash; flash was the only Pegasus i knew who could perform a double dropping dive. But one day when we were heading home and a large building started to fall on us. I used my magic to get us out of there and it worked... for me. when your that young your magic isn’t that good and when i used my teleportation spell it transported me to the summer sun celebration in Canterlot. Me and my friend flash was standing behind Celestia just as she raised the sun but” i stopped and a tear rolled down my cheek.

“when i teleported my magic got me and my friend confused it ripped his wings off of him and put them on me.”Twilight stood there in shock.

“but the worst thing was that the spell also ripped out his heart... i have two hearts”She gasped and lowerd her head

“so now i can now live forever” i raised my head and looked at the old photograph of flash on my fireplace

“im so sorry for asking... i-i didn’t know  i”

“its OK twilight i always remember from time to time. Like my parents used to say forget the past its the future that counts.“and with that twilight lifted her head and smiled

“listen take this as a gift” i handed her a large book on unicorn spells and immidiatly she started reading.

“ive never seen these spells. who preformed them? was it the princess?” she said exsited

“no i did. Funny thing is im the only unicorn who can control the four elements.”

“the four elements??”

“yes look” i grabbed a big brown book and blowed the dust off of it.

“look the four elelements: fire, water, earth and wind.” I looked behind her at the small clock

“oh... im so sorry twilight its closing time. Listen take this book its a gift to you also please please please don’t tell anyone

that story i told you... ok??”

“my lips are seeled” she said happy

I walked her over to the door and used my magic to open it. She looked at me and slowly trotted away

“thanks for the book elements” she shouted

“your welcome” i shouted back. I closed the door and walked to the back of the room.

“twilight sparkle. what a nice name for a good friend” i said to my self as i walked up stairs

“right now we’re was i?... oh yes”

I slowly walked down the stairs trying to see who was at the front door alls i could see was three little heads. I walked to the door to see three little fillies.

“WERE THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS JURNOLISTS OF THE FULL FREE PRESS CAN WE GET AN INTERVIEW WITH YOU??”

“NO!!”and with that i slammed the door shut. I ran upstairs to my study and waited for them to leave.
