Before Equestria was made, before Twilight Sparkle, and before Celestia and Luna, it all started when 4 powerful alicorn spirits formed this universe together. Since the beginning of time, Mekeniah watched as the new heavens and earth was formed by 4 powerful alicorn spirits. These 4 alicorn spirits were not gods, but they were considered spiritual beings whose power of creation was given by the spiritual rulers to create only one dimension. The spiritual rulers of all dimensional realms chose one of the alicorn spirits to become the main ruler of this dimension. The one that they chose was Ezekiel, an alicorn spirit with great knowledge and wisdom and who has great skills of leadership. Manartha, an alicorn spirit who is Ezekiel's wife was granted authority over the heavens and the earth. The other two alicorns are Sebastian and Hosea. They were both granted authority to be commanders of the spiritual warriors who are sworn to protect the physical beings from any harm, Sebastian and Hosea also had to obey the commandments of Ezekiel and his wife. Many types of creatures were created on Earth such as the earth ponies, the pegasi, unicorns, griffons, and so many other amazing creatures in this world. Everything was good! As time went by the spirits observed the earth and watched the dwellers of the earth increased knowledge, build towns, and formed nations and civilizations. Paradise is a place where the 4 alicorns, Mekeniah, and the rest of the spirits dwell in. It is place where there are golden streets and there is a mighty golden city. Paradise is a glorifying place where there are such wonders beyond comprehension. It is also a dwelling place for those on earth who had died and left earth. But an another place was made and it is called Hell where the souls of the wicked go after death. Five hundred years after the creation, Sebastian began to feel jealous over the fact that Ezekiel gets to become the main ruler of this dimension and also got to marry one of the most beautiful spirits ever....Manartha. In anger he was planning to meet somewhere in the universe with Hosea to discuss how to take over Ezekiel's throne, Hosea didn't have any interest over Manartha, but Sebastian wanted to win her heart. Somewhere in the universe on a distant planet, they began to discuss.
"I just don't get it," Sebastian said, "why can't we be as important as Ezekiel? We too have great skills of leadership, is that right Hosea?" Hosea just stared at him with great confusion, not knowing what to say.
"Is that right!?" screamed Sebastian.
"Sorry," said Hosea, "I am just concerned about this matter, if I were you I would be careful making such a decision to take over Ezekiel's throne. Ask yourself this.......if the spiritual rulers give Ezekiel the throne but not to you could they be doing it for a reason? They can sense the hearts and minds of everyone, they can tell who is considered worthy to be a true leader.
"Nonsense!" yelled Sebastian, "For five hundred years, I was watching the spirits giving praise and riches upon his mighty throne, they always look up to him and put so much faith in him. But to us, they don't even bother to thank us for our leadership over the spiritual soldiers, but Ezekiel gets all the credit! You'd seen me show great leadership for our fellow warriors of the heavens, you and I were helped Ezekiel and Manartha form this universe. We both want praise from our fellow followers, but Ezekiel took the praise that we both deserve and put it to himself."
"That's true," said Hosea, "but Ezekiel is truly our king and he only must have all praise according to what the dimensional rulers have told us."
"But now this is the time to change this, if you and the fellow soldiers help me to become the new king, I will share my glory, my power, and my riches to you and to everyone and we will all have praise from those who dwell on Earth." said Sebastian.
At that very moment, Hosea felt pride taking over his heart and he felt that hunger for power that Sebastian said he would give when he becomes king.
"How are we suppose to take over Ezekiel's throne if our power is limited before Ezekiel?" asked Hosea.
Sebastian answered, "I got it! First, go to Paradise and command all of our soldiers to meet me in this exact location."
"Got it!" Hosea said as he flew away across the universe in a speed of light.
Meanwhile in Paradise, Mekeniah was curious about the disappearance of Sebastian and Hosea until he saw Hosea coming into Paradise and commanded all spiritual soldiers to leave Paradise for a very important meeting. Mekeniah flew to Hosea while concerned about what was going on.
"Hosea, what is going on around here?" Mekeniah asked. Hosea looked at Mekeniah wondering what to say.
"We are just going to have an important meeting an....." Hosea said.
"About what?" Mekeniah interrupted.
"Well...you see," Hosea said, "we will have a meeting just to discuss to the soldiers about our plans to fix our daily problems, it's nothing big or anything."
"Does Ezekiel know about this?" Mekeniah asked.
"No," Hosea said, "you wouldn't mind if you report this to Ezekiel?"
"No, I will report it to him." Mekeniah said.
"Why, thank you so much." Hosea said.
"No problem." Mekeniah said.
As Mekeniah was about to report about the situation to Ezekiel, he sensed that something strange is going on..... something......evil. Mekeniah decided to secretly follow the soldiers and Hosea all the way to their meeting location. Mekeniah secretly disguised himself as one of the spiritual soldiers so no one could notice him. Mekeniah saw billions of spiritual soldiers standing before Sebastian and Hosea as they began to talk to them about their plan....their evil plan.
"Warriors of Paradise," Sebastian said with a loud powerful voice, "it is an honor to be here with all of you. The whole purpose of this meeting is that I had formed a new plan......"
During this long meeting Sebastian had plans that completely shocked billions of soldiers including Mekeniah himself. Sebastian explained that many spirits gave so much power and authority and praise to Ezekiel, that the spirits hardly ever give credit, attention, and thanks to Sebastian, Hosea, and the soldiers for their service. Sebastian discussed that if he is the main ruler of this dimension, then he will share his glory and power and riches to the warriors and Hosea as well. Mekeniah sensed that there are billions of soldiers who were listening to him started to have pride and evilness in their hearts including Hosea while there are other billions of soldiers who refused to accept such a thing. The soldiers who were corrupted by evilness and pride began to praise Sebastian and wanted to overthrow Ezekiel out of his throne. Immediately, Mekeniah transported to Paradise and told Ezekiel and Manartha about what just happened. Along side with Mekeniah were billions of soldiers who refused to join Sebastian and Hosea.
"I can't believe this," Ezekiel said, "how could Sebastian and Hosea do such a thing?"
All of a sudden one of the soldiers came up to Ezekiel and said, "They are on their way right now to declare war on you and to take over the throne!"
With great expression of horror on his face he shout out, "Quick! Get ready for battle, I must warn the spiritual rulers quickly!"
When the spiritual rulers heard about this they gathered billions and billions of soldiers to help Ezekiel protect Paradise from the forces of evil. All the souls of those who had died ran to Ezekiel's golden palace just for safety. What entered into Paradise was a great cloud of darkness and billions and billions of soldiers including Sebastian and Hosea came out of the cloud.
Sebastian screamed out with a loud voice that sounded like thunder and roaring waves and he said,"I am here to claim your crown to become ruler of this dimension and have Manartha as my new wedded wife!"
There was a huge war going on in Paradise, it was considered one of the most darkest battles ever fought, until the Ezekiel, Mekeniah, and the other spirits finally won the battle and banished Sebastian, Hosea, and the evil spirits from Paradise for eternity. Since their banishment, Sebastian became the ruler of all evil spirits who joined him. He also became a ruler of all darkness and evil and Hell itself. Hosea became the secondary ruler of the evil spirits. As years went by, the evil spirits roamed around the earth unseen while bringing evil and destruction to many ponies and creatures around the world. They roam around deceiving many people into darkness. As for Mekeniah and the other spirits who refused to join Sebastion, they were sworn to protect many people as possible from the evil clutches of Sebastian.

Thousands of years had passed since the terrible day when the evil spirits waged war against Paradise and got banished. In Hell, Sebastian formed many groups of evil spirits. Each group has different abilities to deceive those who dwell on earth such as the spirits of anger, spirits of hatred, spirits of jealousy and so on. The whole earth became darker and darker and the ponies were easily deceived by the evil spirits. The evil spirits caused the ponies from different tribes to dislike each other, such as the earth ponies, unicorns, and the pegasi. Ezekiel and Manartha were broken hearted about what was happening on earth, because the evil spirits kept throwing hatred into the hearts of ponies and it was causing each tribe to hate one another. Many warriors of Paradise went to earth to protect the ponies, but the ponies from all three tribes had hearts that were so filled with hatred that it made evil spirits stronger and the heavenly spirits weak. But, Ezekiel and Manartha knew what to do to stop all this. In Paradise, Mekeniah came before Ezekiel and Manartha and said to them that the three tribes were taken over by the spirits of hatred and anger and he sensed that there were hardly any goodness in their hearts.
"If these tribes don't turn away from their ways of hatred then Sebastian will use the Windigos to feed off their hatred and they will bring an endless blizzard throughout the land." Ezekiel said.
"How can we stop this from happening?" Mekeniah asked. "Sebastian, Hosea, and the evil spirits are gaining more power over the ponies and they will start taking over the earth."
"Mekeniah," said Ezekiel, "there is a way to stop this and that is friendship! But we must let the windigos bring the blizzard to the ponies, because we had a vision that the blizzard will cause some of the ponies to be able to discover the power of friendship to stop Sebastian's evil plans and to defeat the windigos."
"Please," asked Mekeniah asked, "can you tell me more about your visions and plans."
"That is the only vision we had so far," Ezekiel answered, "but Manartha and I have a special plan. After we defeat the forces of evil through the power of friendship, we will use that power to bring love and peace upon the tribes and we will form these three tribes together to form one nation that we would like to call......Equestria."
"That sounds amazing!" Mekeniah said.
"Mekeniah," Ezekiel said, "I heard that the three tribes are having a Grand Summit right now about how to cope with the blizzard, I will send you alongside side with 18 soldiers to go to the summit and protect them from whatever lies ahead of them. The soldiers are under your command Mekeniah and I will guide you throughout your mission and remember...I will help you use the power of friendship to accomplish this mission. As you do your work, me and Manartha will do ours."
Mekeniah and the spiritual soldiers left Paradise and were heading straight to earth. Meanwhile on earth, the ponies from all three tribes were entering a building for the Grand Summit during the blizzard and also five evil spirits came in with the ponies unseen. Ponies from each different tribe sat separately on the top benches on each side of the building. As the trumpets were sounded in the building, one of the first rulers came in for the Grand Summit, a unicorn leader name Princess Platinum, then was the leader of the pegasi name Commander Hurricane and finally the leader of the earth ponies name Chancellor Puddinghead. As they sat on the table in the center of the building the five evil spirits were surrounding them. As the leaders sat on the table to begin their discussion, the evil spirits threw hatred and anger into their hearts that caused them to argue immediately.
"All I wanna know is why the earth ponies are hogging all the food!" said Commander Hurricane.
"Us?!" Puddinghead said. "We're not hogging all the food, you are! Oh wait, you're right. It's us! Well, it's only 'cause you mean old pegasususususes are making it snow like crazy!"
"For the hundredth time, it's not us! We're not making it snow; it must be the unicorns! They're doing it with their freaky magic!" said Hurricane.
Platinum gasped and said. "How dare you! Unlike you pegasi ruffians, we unicorns never stop to such a thing!"
"Well, if you nonEarths aren't gonna stop using your weirdo powers to freeze us all, then I'm just plum out of ideas!" said Puddinghead as she put her hoof down.
"What a shocker." said Hurricane. "An Earth Pony with no ideas!"
"Commander Hurricane!" shouted Platinum. "Please cease with the insults!"
"You're not the boss of me, your royal snootiness!" shouted Hurricane.
Meanwhile while they were arguing the evil spirits who were around them started to laugh and talk to each other.
"These ponies are such fools!" said an evil spirit while laughing.
"They are so easily deceived!" said an another evil spirit.
"The more we take over their hearts, the more we will be able to bring honor and glory to our King Sebastian!" shouted a third evil spirit.
"I just love hearing the sounds of hatred coming from these pesky mortals." said a fourth evil spirit.
"I am definitely sure that our Prince of Darkness will be pleased." said a fifth evil spirit.
Meanwhile back to the arguments from the leaders of the tribes
"I beg your pardon?! I am a princess! I won't be spoken to that way!" shouted Platinum as she got up and made her way to the door.
"Well, I'm leaving first!" shouted Hurricane as he also made his way to the door.
"No, I'm first!" shouted Puddinghead while she was already at the door.
All three of the leaders were all trying to get out of the building but they were squished together until they all got out. As the three ponies went away separately, the evil spirits who were watching them continued to laugh. While the evil spirits were laughing, Mekeniah and his heavenly soldiers appeared right before them and Mekeniah revealed his brilliant light to the evil spirits and it caused them to shriek and fly away. When Mekeniah realized that the leaders had already left, he split up 18 soldiers into 3 groups to follow each leader. Each group had 6 warriors each, one group followed Commander Hurricane, one group followed Chancellor Puddinghead, and Mekeniah followed Princess Platinum with the rest of the 6 heavenly warriors. Meanwhile, Sebastian commanded the Windigos to follow the leaders as well to feed off hatred from them. In the capital of the pegasi tribe, Commander Hurricane came and called out for Private Pansy(Commander Hurricane's subordinate).
"Ateeennn-tion!" shouted Hurricane as he startled Pansy. "Well? Aren't you curious about how it went?"
"Oh, uh, Commander Hurricane, sir! How did it go, sir?!" asked Pansy.
"Horribly!" said Hurricane. "Those other tribe leaders are so disrespectful! Don't they realize that we are a mighty tribe of warriors and should not be crossed? We have got to break ranks with those weak foals! We must find a new land!"
The 6 heavenly warriors who were surrounding them didn't know what to do to help fix this situation.
"What can we do with these pegasus? They just don't understand the meaning of love and friendship." said one heavenly warrior.
An another looked at him and said, "Just remember that it is our job to watch over them and protect them from the evil spirits, Ezekiel said that he will handle the rest for he has a plan."
As the warriors were talking they heard a demonic voice coming out of nowhere and it said, "You warriors have no power over Sebastian! For the power of darkness and hatred will rule the universe and the power of love and friendship will finally be forgotten."
After the warriors heard this they saw millions of evil spirits flying through sky while having their reddish eyes targeted on Commander Hurricane and Private Pansy. Meanwhile in the capital of the unicorn tribe, Platinum entered the castle while she was shivering from the cold alongside with Mekeniah and the heavenly warriors who were following her.
"Clover the Clever, I need you!" Platinum called.
Clover the Clever(Platinum's adviser and also a student of Starswirl the Bearded) showed up and said, "Yes, your majesty. Did the other pony tribes see reason as I predicted?"
"Those other tribes are impossible!" answered Platinum. "I, for one, can no longer bear to be anywhere near those lowly creatures. The unicorns are noble and majestic. We will no longer consort with the likes of them! We must find a new land!"
While Mekeniah was watching them in the hallway, one of heavenly spirits looked outside of the window and said, "Mekeniah! You have to look through the window!"
Mekeniah quickly ran to the window and saw millions of evil spirits surrounding the castle as they wait for Princess Platinum and Clover the Clever to come out to look for new land just to attack them.
"Warriors," Mekeniah shouted, "prepare your swords to fight! Don't let any impure spirit lay their fingers on them!"
"For Ezekiel!" They all shouted as they were about to prepare for a huge battle.
At the Town Hall of the Earth Pony capital, Chancellor Puddinghead came down from the chimney just to get inside.
Smart Cookie(Puddinghead's adviser) went up to Puddinghead and asked, "Wouldn't it have been easier to use the door, Chancellor?"
Puddinghead answered, "Maybe for you, Smart Cookie, but I am a chancellor. I was elected because I know how to think outside the box. Which means I can also think inside the chimney. Can you think inside the chimney?"
"Ah-" said Cookie while confused.
"I don't think so." said Puddinghead as she walked pass Cookie.
Cookie groaned.
"Oh my gosh..." said Puddinghead excitedly, "Hold on to your hooves! I am just about to be brilliant!"
"Wryly: That be a first." said Cookie to herself quietly.
"I have decided that the Earth Ponies are gonna do it alone!" said Puddinghead.
"Aw! So you mean the other tribes didn't come around? Shoot. I really thought we could get through to them if we-" said Cookie.
"Don't worry about them." Puddinghead interrupted. "We're the ones with all the food, right?"
"Actually, we're all out." answered Cookie.
"Fine." said Puddinghead. "Then we'll have to go somewhere new where we can grow some new food. And with me as our fearless leader, what could wrong?"
Puddinghead opened the door and she ended up getting covered in snow.
"Where should I start?" asked Cookie.
"The point is....we must find a new land!" Puddinghead answered.
Meanwhile around the Town Hall, the heavenly warriors were guarding the building while there were hundreds of evil spirits surrounding the building. The heavenly warriors sliced many evil spirits with their flaming swords from one evil spirit to another. When the warriors saw Chancellor Puddinghead opening the door they began to surround her to protect her and her adviser, Cookie.
"Comrades!" shouted one of the warriors, "Whatever you do.....never leave these ponies out of your sight. We must follow them where ever they go to make sure they won't get attacked!"
