as the apple falls far from the tree
It has been about five years since Babs had left the cutie mark crusaders after she had gotten her cutie mark that was a pair of shiny red scissors was now working at a hair salon with her mentor Golden braids. As Babs continued to work Golden braids had came over and started to judge Babs work so far she looked over onto the unicorns hair and noticed that she had cut the bangs a bit to close to the head as of such Babs was scolded and was told to return home and to get ready for school tomorrow as she did and grabbed her bag out of the employes room and walked out the front door back to Manehattan streets and back to her home. As she walked she saw what was typical in Manehattan there where a few homeless pony's some off which were war veterans of Celestias army and some that have gone bankrupt from there high end jobs now forced to live on the streets trying now to find a way to make a living again. Seeing all this Babs could do nothing but sigh at there miss fortune off them as she at one point felt that the world was against her.
When Babs got back to her home it was usually the same routine her parents were at work still and she was left home alone once again, she then set down her bag and flopped down on the couch turning on the television to the normal programing hoping that something new would happen but never did, except when she flipped on the music channel and saw was a music video created by her favorite artist Sapphire Shores singing and dancing to one of her favorite songs. She then got up and began to sing and dance to her favorite song not long after trips over her bag and falls flat on her face, she then picked herself up and began to giggle a bit as then her stomach began to rumble as she then made her way to the kitchen to make herself something to eat for dinner. When she was done eating it was around 5:30 in the afternoon so she decided to take a shower early and go to bed around 9:00 at night since she began her sophomore year of high school tomorrow as she known that being in high school is one of the hardest parts of life next to collage.
Babs now lays her head on her pillow and drifts of to sleep only to be awaken the next morning to find that it was Monday and it was the beginning of her new year and she was not happy about it. As the alarm kept wailing Babs finally smacked it to keep quiet she got out of the covers and began to get dressed, she pulled out of her closet was a pair of blue wash jeans that had a few holes in the knee area with as well a t-shirt of one of her favorite bands which was almost completely covered with a brown leather bomber jacket with a pair of sneakers. As she made her way out of her room her parents were making breakfast, as she sat down her father looked at her and asked "so how did you sleep last night Babs?" Bab`s train of thought was broken by her father as she responded "ya but it felt short" her dad began to smile as he patted her on the head "ah all you are is nervous sweetie because of the new grade it is just the same except just that you are older" Babs began to sigh at the thought when her mother brought over her breakfast as she began to eat she looked at the clock. She had to finish breakfast and fast or she would miss the bus to school.
When Babs was finally done eating she grabbed all her stuff and crammed it into her backpack and began to run out the front door of there apartment
