//-------------------------------------------------------// Equestrian Psycopath -by BioQuillFiction- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Wolf and Prey //-------------------------------------------------------// Wolf and Prey Earth, one of the more unique worlds. In the late twenty-fourth century, the death sentence became outlawed globally. It was declared that euthanasia was no longer required, nor need after the Galactic Federation of Planets all signed the peace agreement of 2579. Ever since then, peace has ruled: Earth, Mars, Venus, and Creta; murder hasn't even occurred in over 200 years... until recently. Saeva Latin, better known as The Cannibal Angle. A literal wolf in sheep's clothing, and a monster by every definition of the word. Wanted for the murder and cannibalism of over 10,000 people, including his own parents. For six years Saeva has been killing people, and before that it was stray and lost animals. When he was caught and convicted of animal slaughter it only took him a week to escape, with a death count of twelve officers under his belt. All of them had chunks of flesh missing with his teeth marks all over. As of today, January 6th, 2784, Saeva has been captured and will at long last, answer for his crimes. ... We hope... Court has never had a shorter trial in human history. The case of Saeva Latin vs. Humanity will last less than three minutes. Saeva was given no defence lawyer and the jury was the family of those he killed. The judge looked Saeva over, he had replaced his left arm with a cybernetic. His front teeth had been all filed down to a point and his eyes were altered to appear blood red. Across his back was the source of his title, a large pair of angel wings tattooed across his back. "Saeva Latin!" The judge roared. His voice like thunder in the silence of the courtroom. "You stand before the court today charged with first degree murder and cannibalism! What the court would like to know is why, why have you done that which has not occurred in over 200 years!?" Saeva looked up at the judge, ignoring the burn of the holo restraints across his arms and neck. "Simple, you are all prey. It's only natural that a wolf feeds on the weak." "... You truly are less than human Saeva. By the power invested in me, by the Galactic Federation I find you guilty of all crimes! Your sentence is life in a baron dimension. Where you will spend the rest of your life in a lifeless universe." Saeva drew a crooked smile. "We'll see." In a flash of light Saeva was teleported to his holding cell on Pluto, heavily guarded and deep within the core of the frozen planet. The judge waited, even after the jury and others had left. It was an hour after the judge was alone that a man burst through the door. He wore a full body black swat power suit, a helmet covering his face and carrying a duffel bag across his side. The judge smiled a little. "Agent Kronos, I expected to see you here at the trial. I know how personal it was." "I was busy." Kronos said "Doing what?" Kronos dumped his bags contents onto the ground, weapons ranging from early twenty-first century firearms to late twenty-fourth century energy shooters. "Buying antiques." "Normally I'd have to call security, but A, you are security, and B, you want to prove a point to me." "Malachi, I'm asking you as both a friend and a Federation Neutralize Officer, Saeva must be stopped at all costs." "Kronos, he's already been sentenced to life in a baron dimension. He can't do any harm there." "We both know that's a lie." Malachi sighed. "I know you won't ever find peace with what he has done to you and believe me, I'd honestly love nothing more than to see him hang for Ashley and Beta's death, but this is how it's done. All I can do is make peace with the rules." "And if he escapes or finds a way back the rules won't matter. I brought him in and you gave the sentence, I can defend myself from him but you can't. I'm not letting your death be because the rules no longer accept capital punishment." Malachi sat there in silence. "Twins have never been more different with you and him. Fine, I can pull some strings so you can watch your brother every step of the way. If he acts out and you end him I can't promise I'll be your judge, even though you'd be seen as a hero." "I'll accept the consequences if it comes to that. When is he scheduled for dimensional shift?" "Tomorrow, mid-day. You'll receive notification of your assignment to monitor him later today." "Thank you." Kronos placed each weapon carefully back into his bag and left. Malachi gave a silent prayer. God please favor us tomorrow. The next morning Kronos was the first Neutralize solder at the teleporter, outfitted with his full body power swat uniform. Bag full of antique weapons of mass destruction. He was the only man carrying real weapons on the prison. Judge Malachi had done what he promised, with one unwanted addition. He was given a partner, and a rookie to boot. She was a Creta, young, mid-twenties with blue synthetic skin and red hair. The way her body and face was were perfect, almost godly beautiful. That meant one thing. "Are you a prostitution model?" Kronos asked. The Cretain woman almost fell over at his question. "My mother was a prostitution model, my father was a peacekeeper model." "Where they born or manufactured?" "Manufactured, they were made about a hundred years before Creta discovered Earth." "That old?" "Hey, we don't age like humans. Oldest one of my kind saw the conversion with her own eyes." "Isn't she also your old Queen?" "Whatever. I'm Cripta, you're my partner right?" "Yes." Kronos griped the strap on his bag. "Look, if anything goes south just protect the people, leave Saeva to me if he tries anything." Cripta felt concerned. She read all the files and had them on memory, she knows her partner is related to the culprit. She may be fresh out of the academy but she wasn't selected randomly. She nodded, giving Kronos some assurance. As the day dragged on everyone began to tense up. Fear and rumors spread like wildfire about Saeva planning a grand escape. Lower staff members took breaks and left early out of worry. When the Cannibal Angel escapes a prison, blood and death follow like moths to a flame. Kronos  stood guard near the teleporter like a statue, focused, ready for death, and immovable. Cripta fell victim to boredom and tried to make him move or laugh. Nothing worked, and even though his face was covered she knew how much this mission meant to him. Finally, after what felt like eons, the teleporter glowed a bright blue. Three figures materialized, two guards and Saeva. Saeva was placed into a restraint jacket and wrapped with halo chains for added measure. "What's the holdup? I've seen you escape from harder bindings Saeva." Cronose said. "Kronos, I knew you'd be here." "I've taken every precaution to make sure you're properly banished. Preferably hell, where you belong." "We'll see. You know more than anyone that I always have a plan." Kronos gave a fast, powerful uppercut to Saeva's chin, he just laughed. "I sure hope everything goes to plan, I enjoy our encounters." "Take him to the chamber." Kronos ordered. "Keep your tasers on him the whole way." The group made their way to the dimensional chamber, people in the building kept their heads down. Some even cried at Saeva’s glance. The whole way to the chamber, Saeva had a demonic smile on his face. Even when he stood in the dimensional shift chamber, his expression never changed. The dimensional shift chamber was a large white room, when the doors close no air or atoms can escape. In the center laid a small black crystal, a tear in space time, trapped into a physical object. An early gift from Creta to Earth. Once broken, the rift opens and closes after some time. They call it a Dimensional Shard. As part of his banishment, Saeva is going to break it, and imprison himself in whatever hell lies within. He stood there for a while, just staring at the crystal, unrestricted, and movable. Kronos pressed a button on a control panel, Saeva's every move was monitored by special cameras. To everyone's surprise he was laughing like he had already killed everyone. "What is that psychopath doing?" One of the officers spoke. "Maybe he's having a nervous breakdown." Cripta said. "No," Kronos said, barely audible "he's got something planned." Not a few seconds later Saeva shoved two fingers down his throat and began coughing uncontrollably. "What the?" After a while, something came out of Saeva's mouth. It was brightly coloured, small, and glowed with all the colors of a rainbow. A Dimensional Shard. "Fuck!" Kronos ran, out of the monitor room and all the way to the dimensional shift room, Cripta followed at an equally fast pace. As Kronos came down the hall to the shift chamber he reached into his bag and pulled out a weapon. It was a  Cretain weapon, energy shooter, no bigger than his hand. Cretains knew how to pack death into small packages. As soon as he grabbed it the barrel began to glow red. Kronos took aim and fired. A been of orange/red light flew across the hall, when it made contact with the door it melted into a pile of red glowing goo. With the door gone Saeva had a perfect view of his brother. He smiled, breaking the Shard with his synthetic arm. A large vortex appeared, consuming Saeva entirely. "You're not gonna get away!" Kronos yelled, jumping head first into the vortex. Cripta tried to stop, but tripped over the, now cooled off, goo pile and fell in. * * * The scent of grass fills Saeva's lungs as he regains consciousness. As his eyes open they are greeted by filtered sunlight, beaming through paths between the leaves of tall trees. Quickly realizing he's in a forest, a smile grew across his face. He's free again. He got up and started stretching, cracks and pops sounded from his joints. "Man, restraint jacket and halo chains. They really weren't trying." He placed his synthetic hand over his stomach. "Didn't even search me." Saeva began to walk in a randomly chosen direction. Eagerly awaiting what prey his new world might offer. Several hours passed before Saeva found a clearing. There was an odd tree there, the base was as large as a garage and had several windows and a door. Masks decorated the exterior, and grass grew in a near perfect path to the entrance. "Well now, what have we here?" Saeva entered. Pots, bowls, bottles, and ingredients littered the small room, the exception being the small walking space around a large cauldron sitting above a fire. And, the bed in the far back. He wondered what kind of other dimensional being would live in such a place, it was homey, he could admit that, but are they a predator or prey? Eagerness flooded Saeva's bitter black heart, only bittered by the absence of prey. Time and patience, every predator waits for its first kill. //-------------------------------------------------------// Blood Magic //-------------------------------------------------------// Blood Magic Hours passed, Saeva waited patiently through them all. He didn't bother hiding, he was hoping for a fight. That and the place was too small to hide anywhere. Over that time however Saeva noticed something was odd, when he focused he could hear the movements of the wild life. It sickened him, yet intrigued him. The creature's act much how the ones on earth do, many looked like ones from earth. The only difference he could find was in their intelligence, which seemed to approach close to human levels. None of that mattered at the moment though, soon his prey will come and order will be established. "Oh bats and nats!" A voice from echoed from the forest. The speaker was female and Saeva was surprised to hear she was speaking English, and curious as to why the speaker was rhyming. "Whatever evil is dormant in my house, kindly get out!" Impressive! She knows I'm here. With that, Saeva exited the home, only to find a... zebra standing before him. "What? Where's the one who was talking?" "Clearly you are new to the Everfree, or perhaps you've never seen someone like me?" Saeva's eyes widened. "A talking zebra... Well they did say different dimensions have different laws." "I don't know what you mean, your words are gibberish to me." "My being in this world will only concern you if your species is on top." "Concern is all I can feel, the evil you hold is unreal." Saeva looked her over. Her pose and tone was calm and sound, but her eyes betrayed her. She was beyond scared. "Tell me my striped E.T. Who and or what are the dominant species of this world?" "What... What do you mean? Equestria has known only peace until recently." "Really? So there is no dominant species. Well that won't do at all." "I told you what you need, now please just leave!" Saeva walked up to the zebra. "You said until recently there has only been peace. What's changed?" The zebra now showed her fear, her legs wanted to give out or run. "Evil has reappeared. In the end though, they wish they never came here." "And what race is keeping evil from being dominant?" "P... ponies-" Thud. Saeva smacked the female zebra with his synthetic arm, she went flying and crashed against a tree. The pain caused the zebra to black out, her entire right side was bruised, cut, and her back leg was smashed and mangled. "Her rhyming was getting really old. Still kinda impressed, must be hard to rhyme constantly without having to stop and think." He walk over to the animal, noticing her skin turn purple. "Let's see here, broken leg, cracked spin, and some broken ribs causing massive internal bleeding. You'll be dead soon, still, I only make those who deserve it suffer. You've been somewhat helpful." Saeva pressed his foot against the zebra's neck, a sickening crack soon followed, echoing throughout the forest. "Well, that was far easier than I wanted it to be. Maybe the next kill will be more entertaining." He lifted his synthetic hand to the corpse, the fingertips lengthened and sharpened to needle like points. Pushing into the zebra's dead flesh, blood began flowing. Coating his fingertips crimson red, Saeva pulled them out and tasted the blood. It was unlike human blood. Obviously, but it didn't taste like blood. Rather than the coppery taste Saeva has been acquainted with, he was met with a tang and bitterness that comes from something close to wine grapes. Then, as he swallowed, a sweet tang struck his taste buds. He shivered with pleasure. "What they lack in strength they make up for in taste. This world might be fun after all." * * * Kronos began to awaken. As he did, his power suit beeped to life. Words began appearing across the face guard of his helmet as his eyes opened. Warning, multiple system crashes detected! Energy Shields... deactivated until repaid. Strength Enhancer...  deactivated until repaid. Hostile Detection System...  deactivated until repaid. Medicine Injectors... partly functional. "Crap..." Kronos muttered as he sat up. He went into full alertness when he saw Cripta laying across the room. He quickly went to her. "Cripta! Dammit what are you doing here?!" No response. He looked and saw her eyes, strings of ones and zeros ran across her eyes, and her lips moved slightly, muttering at random. Crap! Why did your species have to be half computer! He yelled mentality. He instantly knew that whatever crashed his suits systems, messed with her. Clank! Kronos looked up. He saw a large metal door, slowly opening. He just now noticed his surroundings, stone, a large stone room lit by several candles. As the door fully opened, Kronos's jaw almost dropped. A white, small, horse like creature entered. His mane looked more like human hair, same went for his tail. His body was almost pure white while his mane and tail where blond. "So one of you has finally awoken." "I take it something happened while I was out." "Smart, that's good. We're holding you because you and your accomplice appeared in the princess throne room, surrounded by an unknown Magic, and carrying suspicious items of unknown use. So I'll ask yo-" "So you've accused and probably charged us with possible attempt at murder of your rulers... Also, did you say Magic?" The creature jumped back, surprised of Kronos's accuracy. "That's... about right. And yes I did say Magic, what of it?" "Well, first off where we come from, Magic is nothing more than smoke and mirrors. Second, I'll admit I came with WMD's, but I'm only only here because a prisoner escaped to this dimension." "Prisoner? You're some kinda cop?" "Galactic Federation officer. Unit 1-11-D-G. Captain Kronos Latin." "Military then, seems our cultures are similar in surprising ways. Royal Solar guard. Unit 4-7-K-F. General Blue Blood." "Seems so, now mind explaining why you seem to be believing every word I say?" "A special spell, unlike your world Magic is very real here on Equestria. I cast it myself so if you did lie I'd know." "I look forward to learning about this world. Now I need to find the prisoner, before he kills." "K... Kills?! Murder hasn't happened in Equestria for hundreds of years." Kronos went stiff. "We need to find him yesterday than! If he finds that out, half your contrary will be dead by the end of the week!" * * * Kronos explained the whole situation while he and Blue Blood went to retrieve his weapons. Cripta was shipped to the infirmary, medicine does work on her kind. Kronos's weapons were held, well kept, by a team of researchers Blue Blood picked himself to study the arms. That made Kronos exceptionally nervous, one wrong move and someone will be dead. Finally they made it to the lab, just in time for Kronos to see one of the scientists pull the pin on his only grenade. "Get down!" Kronos yelled, running up to the unicorn scientist, grabbing the grenade out of her magic field and throwing it towards the furthest corner. As he hit the floor the grenade went off, fire and shrapnel covered half the lab, the chaos lasted only seconds. Kronos got up and witnessed the raw power of earth's oldest war tool first hand, gun powder. The equipment was either scorched or destroyed, one of the pony scientists mane was burned and still smoking. "What the hell was that?!" Blue Blood yelled from under a desk. "A grenade. Old school weapon of my people. Meant to take out large crowds of enemies at once." "It's Meant to kill, isn't it?" Blue Blood's voice was cracked. "Yes, I followed Saeva here to kill him. He will pay for their deaths with his own life." Blue Blood got up from under under the desk. "I'll have to stop you there. As a... Foreigner, you and your partner, you must obey the laws of this nation." "Didn't you hear what I said!? Saeva is out there and God knows if he's killed anyone yet!" "I understand the danger! The last thing I want is bloodshed, but the law is the law. I'll lead the search and detain him personally. And since your intent is to kill him then you have two options, one, become more acquainted with that cell, or live within Equestria. My auntie would love to make peace with an alien." Kronos was on the verge of breaking his teeth. He wanted, needs to kill Saeva. But if he's in a cell he can't do anything, and Cripta needs a medic, and an engineer! "Fine, but come crawling back if you can't handle it." Blue Blood glared at Kronos. "If the need arises. If there's anything else, ask now." "My partner, Cripta, she needs a medic and an engineer. " "... What?" "She's different from me. Her body is half machine. The perfect fusion of nature and technology, I guess what she really needs at this point is someone smart, and I'm taking mind blowing smart." A smile broke across Blue Blood's face. "I think I know just the egg head."
