Apple from a Seed

Once upon a time, when Applejack was a little filly, she and her cousin, Braeburn, were the closest of friends. They'd spend their entire summer breaks together, causing mischief and mayhem for their poor parents or stay up late every night swapping tales of adventure and foalish imagination.

And even as the years passed and the responsibilities of adulthood provided them less and less time to see one another, their bond never diminished. Applejack would do anything for her favorite cousin. And she knew he'd do the same for her.

But when Braeburn does ask a favor larger than she ever expected, it will take all her strength and resolve to get through it.

Thankfully, she won't have to go it alone. For her marefriend and love of her life, Rarity, will be there for her every step of the way. And together? They can do anything. For after all...

...Nothing is more important to an Apple than family.

A side-story to To Find a Rainbow. Though it takes place in the same continuity, having read that story isn't necessary to enjoy this one. Rated M for scenes of a sexual nature between two consenting mares.
