The Case of the Shadowbolts

Rainbow Dash rushed out her house in her uniform at sunset, getting ready to join her very own celebration.

"Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh! The Wonderbolts holding me a celebration! This is going to be the best night ever!"She squealed.

"What best night ever?"A voice ask from behind. Rainbow turned around, only seeing Surprise in her uniform standing behind her.

"Yikes!"Rainbow gasp as she jump up, after noticing the yellow mane pegasus she sigh in relief."You're sure that you weren't related to Pinkie Pie?"She asked.

"Yes, I'm sure! You've ask me so many times!"Surprise groaned.

"Yeah yeah whatever."Rainbow sigh."I need to go to the town hall now, coming, Surprise?"

"Ok!"Surprise smiled and followed Dash into the sky.

Meanwhile at Ponyville Mane Hall Rainbow's friends and the other Wonderbolts are rushing to get the decoration done.

"Hayburgers?"Twilight read.

"Check!"Pinkie rushed to the table and put the hayburgers down.

"Ice-cream?"

"Check!"

"Fruit salad?"

"Check?"

"Great! Now we're ready!"Twilight smiled and rolled up the list, she them heard Rarity mumbling to herself about the band that says 'Congratulations of Rainbow Dash being a Wonderbolt for a year'."Rarity! I thought you've already put that on!"Twilight smack herself on the forehead.

"Don't be ridicules, Twilight."Rarity said."It's for our friend Rainbow Dash! It needs to be perfect!"She rubbed her chin."Spike! Some sequins please!"

"Be right back!"Spike rushed to get some more sequins.

They've finished everything just in time before Rainbow Dash arrived."Surprise!"They shouted in to Rainbow's face.

"Howdy!"Rainbow gasp, trying to not freak out.

She heard Surprise laughing her head off."Oh, Rainbow Dash. I thought you're not afraid of anything!"Surprise laughed.

"Knock it off!"Rainbow pushed her.

The celebration went on, Rainbow look around and smiled. This is the best night ever, well, right after the night that the Wonderbolts accept me in. She turn around and saw two emerald green eyes staring at her."Ahhhh!"She screamed and jump up, suddenly she realized it was Soarin."Oh, it's just you."She sighed.

"Sorry if I scared you."Soarin apologized, his mouth soon cured into a smile."Want to go to a flight?"He asked.

"Yeah, sure."Rainbow smiled and spread out her wings.

The two spread out their wings and soar into the sky, Rainbow suddenly put on a speed."Race ya to the cloud!"She taunted as she flew faster.

"Hey! Not fair!"Soarin protested, catching up.

Rainbow was right in front of Soarin, which she thinks it's a good thing, because of that Soarin can't see her blush. If he noticed I would be doomed. She thought. Soon Rainbow was sitting on top the cloud, smirking.

Soarin raced up, as soon as he was their he was out of breath."You..."He panted."You're... You're very good... good at this."

"Thanks."Rainbow smirked, laying down, soon she was caught by the beauty of the stars above the sunset."Wow..."She gasped."Look at the stars, they're so beautiful."

"Yeah... Beautiful..."Soarin gaped, looking at Rainbow. He soon noticed what he was doing and looked away to the sky. Lucky she didn't notice this. Soarin thought, doesn't want Rainbow to notice.

Rainbow was soon attacked by a weird feeling inside, she gazed away from the stars and looked at the town hall, finding it quiet. She soon heard Soarin's gasp and turned to face him."What's going on?"She asked.

"Look!"Soarin showed Rainbow a note."I find this flowing down from the air!"

Rainbow's blood soon went freeze.

The note said:

We have got your friends and the other Wonderbolts, come and look or rescue them if you dare.
