A loud clang rang across the dimly light hall of stone. In this, deep within Canterlot’s finest dungeon, stood a pony. He was a dark green color with a flashy brown mane, a horn on his head, and business purple eyes that could rival even Celestia’s royalty stare, and a cutie-mark of a spotlight shining down on an empty stage. This colt also wore a light-cloth vest that housed a pen in the left breast pocket, and a saddle bag that store papers.

Flanked him were two royal guards of the Canterlot guard. Both of which bore wings and small concealed swords. It wasn’t usual that guards would even have weapons of war on their bodies, but times have changed. And when the Equestria’s most wanted criminal is behind bars and has the most highest risk of escaping to where the city itself, ordered by her Highness, is in lock-down till the criminal is executed.

The dark green colt began to walk forward, guards following closely behind. The dungeon wasn’t used, much, or, at all. So it was common for them to step over a puddle or two. This criminal, was a special case. He was convicted of countless murders, fillynappings, and damage of public and private property, grand theft of a privately owned airship, and assassination of Prince Blueblood and attempted assassination of Celestia herself.  Rumors went out about this creature, this monster they called it.

The question remains, how and why? How did this one creature commit such actions? Why did it do it? The answer is what the Director of the Central Equestrian Agency will find out personally.

Minutes passed as the group walked towards the special cell made to house the criminal. It consisted of a specially made door that blocked out any magic from entering and exiting the room and four guards outside. A brief introduction between the guards and the Director, he was allowed inside the room. Inside the room was a bar-cell about ten feet away from the door that shimmered with a barrier so powerful it would continue to puzzle even the brightest of magic users. Behind that was a chain cocoon wrap around a small creature. The creature’s head was slumped down so only its brown hair was visible. The Director is still puzzled how such a small, little thing, could do so much.

He sat down on the floor and began to fiddle with his saddle bag. His horn glowed a brownish color, along with the bag, paper, and his pen.  He proceeded to take the paper out, one by one, in and put into a stack to his left. Rising one sheet, he stared at the criminal and made a cough sound. The thing looked up.

“I see our famous murder is awake,” the Director said in a deep monotone voice, “and where you belong to. Tell me, how does it feel to be in a cage like the bloodthirsty animal you are?”

The small creature just looked in silence. “I’m afraid that your silent treatment must come to an end today,” he continued, “for I, myself, am tempted to know how this all began. You know, when you arrived mister… Mister….” He flipped through one of his sheets, “Guy? What a… interesting name. It also says you are a, hue, man?”

“It’s human,” Guy says in a surprising young voice ranging from teen to young adult, despite his age.

“Ah yes, and it speaks. Lovely.” The Director said. “Now, shall we get started?”

“Why would I tell you anything?” Guy asked.

“Because, if you do not, you can spend the rest of your time in complete silence, hanging from your chains, and being tortured by somepony else.”

“I doubt that-“

“Celestia would do that? Please, did you even see your crimes? I am sure she’ll love to. She may hide behind that mask of hers, but I know her, and she can and could get any and all information, and a confession, out of you Guy.”

“Sounds brutal for the motherly figure of Equestria.” Guy says in a childish, cocky voice.

“You killed Prince Blueblood, and nearly killed her. It should be expected.” The Director grimly states.

Guy rolls his eyes. Even though he could try to escape, since there was enough light to try from that visible barrier on the bars, he knows there is something else that was put in place. This, he thought, would eat up time and give the guards time to either kill or place him back in the cell, the latter which won’t happen for him. Course he was more curious why hadn’t she came down herself yet? It plagues him more and more than what this colt has to say.

Why wasn’t she? Why? He was an easy target for her, and it would be –

No. She wants to make it public. To let the world know that she, Celestia, executed a small creature that caused so much harm in so little time. And it didn’t help tha-

His thoughts were interrupted by The Director’s shout, “Hey! Are you listening to me?”

Guy looked back at him. “Something about you leaving?” he asked with a cheeky grin.

“No. You are going to tell me everything what has happened to you.  Your appearance, your meetings with this Group, your crimes, what you did in Ponyville. Everything. I want all the details so I can get this straighten out.”

“So I can go home with a slap on the hands?”

The Director was about to say his reason but stopped himself. Sure, he was very curious about this Guy. What he really wanted to know was the story from the horse’s mouth. Not some random thing Celestia says. After all, he couldn’t trust all the words she said.

So, he answered. “To make sure that any information we couldn’t get from the others you have associated yourself with wasn’t false. And that if is indeed false; they will be put in a cell under the suspension of treason. Do I make myself clear?”

Although half the truth, he does have his friends under suspension already. They’ll answer the questions he’ll fact check with Guy, just to make sure they are true. Little bit abusive of power, but the Director is not a colt of caring.

Guy sighed and took a moment of pause to digest this up. He doesn’t want any of them to be put in the same way he his. He looked up and said, “Alright. You want to know? Fine, if it’ll keep them out of it. I’ll give you your story, Director. So get comfy, because it’s a big one.”
