"This is a strange little town." the Doctor said. "Usually when I go somewhere there is chaos, but everything seems just fine in Ponyville. I guess there is no reason to stay if everything is fine." Walking back to the Tardis, he sees a pony with a gray coat and blonde mane. His eyes were practically showing hearts when he said, "WHO IN CELESTIA'S NAME IS THAT?!" Some ponies saw him and stared at him due to him being in the middle of the street next to his police box. He blushed and put on an embarrassed smile and laughed nervously. He then awkwardly walked of to follow the unknown pony.
"Who was that pony? She was so beautiful." as he focused on the thought of her, he lost focused on where she went. "Where did she go?" He walked down the street looking around. He passed a shop that sold muffins looked through the window then continued walking. After a few seconds he realized he saw her through the shop's window and ran back. He saw her behind the counter organizing some blueberry muffins. "Hmm. How can I get her attention? What am I talking about?! I'm not falling in love today or any other day!" he said as he started to walk off. After a few steps her rushed back again and said, "Well maybe just today."
The Doctor walked into the Muffin Store named Derpy's Bakery. He planed on talking to her but the closer to the counter he got the more nervous he got. Once he reached the counter, he just stared at her. He was silent until the pony said, "Hello. Would you like a muffin?" He hesitated and started to feel hot.
"Um, hello?" the pony asked.
"Oh, um, hello." he responded with a shaky voice.
He looked at the name-tag on her uniform. It said Derpy on it. Derpy then repeated her question and asked, "Would you like a muffin?"
He finally answered and said "Blueberry would be nice."
She handed him the muffin and he said, "Thank you." Then he walked away.
"I looked like such a fool back there. I couldn't even say hello without becoming a nervous wreck. On his was out he turned back to face the door that said open from 9:00-4:00.
When 4:00 came around he was waiting outside the door. Not seeing him on the other side of the door, Derpy opened the door and bumped into it, making him fall over.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to! Are you hurt?" She said with a surprised emotion on her face.
"No worries my dear. I'm fine." he said brushing the dirt off of his suit.
"Oh hey! You're the pony who bought a muffin from me this morning." Derpy said.
"Yes." The Doctor said while tugging on his collar. "That was me." He continued.
"Well nice to see you again." Derpy said.
"You too!" The Doctor said. Derpy then walked away.
The Doctor found Derpy at the park by the fountain. He walked over to her when a Bugbear appeared out of the Everfree Forest infront of the ponies at the park. Everypony started screaming except for The Doctor, he had a wide smile across his face. "Here's my chance! This has to impress her!" Just as he pulled out his sonic-screwdriver, the bearers of the Elements of Harmony got there first. He was confused at first as they defeated the bugbear but then got angry. "OH COME ON!" he yelled. Once again many ponies, including Derpy turned around to look at him. He was really embarrassed this time, because this time, Derpy saw him. He turned around and walked over to a bench and sat on it.
Derpy saw he wasn't too happy so she walked over to sit with him. When she sat next him she said, "I never got your name." she said nervously.
"They call me The Doctor." he said surprised by her company.
"Derpy." She replied. At first they were silent until she said, "I haven't seen you around before, until to day that is. Are you new?"
"Yes, I'm visiting." he said answering her question.
"Oh." she said disappointed. "How long?" she continued.
"Not sure, I guess as long as I can." He replied.
"Do you wanna take a walk in the forest?" she asked nervously.
Full of excitement he said, "Yes! I mean sure." Derpy giggled and were on their way.
While walking into the forest, Derpy walked into a tree. "Are you okay?!" The Doctor said worried.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I do that a lot." She said rubbing her head. "If you haven't noticed, It's hard for me to focus." She said pointing to her eyes.
The Doctor said, "I like your eyes. I think they are very interesting." he said with a blush.
Surprised, Derpy said, "Thanks."
The Doctor thought about how much he liked her. He said, "Follow me. I want to show you something."
The Doctor took Derpy to the Tardis. She looked at it, the best she could, and asked, "A police box?"
He laughed a bit and said, "Not just any police box," as he opened the door.
"Whoa!"
"This," He paused, "is the Tardis!"
Confused, Derpy asked, "What's a Tardis?"
The Doctor was very excited. He pushed some buttons and pulled a lever. Within a few seconds, the Tardis made a swooshing sound and they were off.
The Doctor handed Derpy a space suit and said, "Put this on." Once they had the suits on, The Doctor opened the door.
Derpy gasped once she saw that she was on the moon.
The Doctor explained to her saying, "I am a Timelord. With my Tardis, I can travel anywhere in the Universe at any point or place in time." He then explained to her what a Timelord was. After the explanation he said, "...and that's why I can't stay in Ponyville. I have to protect the Universe. That's why," He paused, "Never mind. Lets go back. I'll take you to some more place later."
During his stay, The Doctor took Derpy to multiple places in the universe, as well as the past and the future. They have grown quite attached to each other so when it was time to go, it was unbearable for both.
"Do you have to go?" Derpy asked crying.
"Yes, I must. I have stayed here as long as I could." The Doctor sadly replied.
"But," Derpy paused to say, "I love you." as hot tears fell down her face.
The Doctor was never so happy or sad in his life. "I love you too." he replied with a few tears. He could not remember the last time he cried.
Derpy was certain this is what she wanted when she said, "I'm coming with you!"
The Doctor wanted this more than anything but he knew it was too dangerous. "You can't. It's too dangerous."
"I don't care! I would rather die than be without you!"
The Doctor tried to reason with her saying, "And if you come with me you might die!"
Derpy didn't care. She ran up hugged him and said, "I'll always be here for you."
The Doctor smiled as she walked into the Tardis. He said to himself, "Looks like I found myself a companion." he said with a smile.
