Two girls, a fox, a hedgehog and another world( part 1 of 2.)
"I can't believe we finally got it , Fluttershy!" Rainbow said excitedly on the way home from the Ponyville traders market, "Every single Sonic Boom comic ever made, and it only cost us a dusty old book Twilight had!"
"It is really exciting, I can't wait to get started. I've been dying to read issue 22. It's meant to be the best one yet." Fluttershy replied in the loudest voice she could manage.
"Come on," Rainbow said , looking like she was about to burst," We'll read it at my house it's closer. Quick question, wanna race there." No pony knew why , but ever since Tierk was defeated, Fluttershy was able to fly as fast, maybe even faster, than Rainbow.
"Just say when." Fluttershy said very determined.
"One, two, three, go!" Rainbow said starting the race. Both Rainbow and Fluttershy flew at top sped, going faster than 200km an hour. In about two minutes, Fluttershy won the race by about 6 seconds.
"Winner!" Fluttershy called out too Rainbow as she reached the house.
"Ok," Rainbow said, admitting defeat." But right now, let's just go in and in joy our comics, agreed."

"Sure thing." Fluttershy replied. 50 minutes later, Fluttershy and Rainbow were still nuzzled up to there books. "Rainbow," Fluttershy started," whose your favourite character out of the Sonic Boom comics. I don't think you've ever told me.
"Okay," Rainbow said," But you've got to Pinkie Promise not to tell any pony. Cause for a mare like me, it's pretty embarssing.
"I swear Rainbow, I won't tell anyone." Fluttershy told her reassuring her.
"Ok, it's ........ Tails. I just really like the robotic stuff he dose. Not to mention he's super cute," Rainbow told Fluttershy." I'm glad to have that off my chest."
"That's totally cool,Rainbow," Fluttershy said, glad her friend told the truth," and your not the only one whose favourite is there complete opposite of who they are . My top hero is Sonic. He's just such a good leader, so cool and totally handsome."
"You know what , Fluttershy," Rainbow said , now in full fantasy mode," I really wish we could go to there world and hang out with them, just for one day."
"You never know," Fluttershy said , now in fantasy mode, too," We were in comic book world once, it could happen again." As soon as she finished her sentence, all 36 comics started to glow brightly, and started to form one big comic book. Once they formed, a message appeared on Rainbows wall." It says," Fluttershy said starting to read the writing on the wall," that only when we've lived through the whole book and made someone truly happy, that we will be allowed come home."
"Fluttershy," Rainbow said , looking like she was going to burst again," that means that we get to stay in there world for 36 adventures and meet Sonic and Tails!
"YES!" They both screamed, and gave each other a hoof bump. No sooner had they done this that they were sucked into the comic book, about to start the adventure.

"Fluttershy," Rainbow said softly, " we're here. But when we crossed over it changed our form. Now we're humans."
"I really don't care," Fluttershy replied," I'm just so happy that we're here." Once Fluttershy got a good look at Rainbow she exclaimed," Wow, you look amazing." It wasn't to much. Rainbow was just wearing her battle of the bands outfit along with a pair of yellow science goggles, a pair of white lab gloves , a brown carrier belt and two tails that looked like her own coming out of her butt.
"You look asome too." Rainbow said, returning the complement . Fluttershy was also in her battle of the bands outfit along with some red safety gloves and matching runners." But first things first," Rainbow continued," we need to go find Sonic and Tails." But what Rainbow didn't know was that they were just coming around the corner, and a fight with them.

Suddenly, a blue blur whizzed past them. A few seconds later, a bald man with a moustache in a tiny rocket flew by, trying to hit the blue blur with lasers.
"Rainbow," Flutteshy said,"this is Eggmans and Sonics first chase from issue 1. I'm going over to help, you, wait here. And with that, Fluttershy started running as fast as Sonic to catch up.
"Hey," a nice voice called behind Rainbow," If you and your friend want to help in the fight, I could always use a co-pilot." It was Tails, Rainbows favourite character from the story!
"Sure thing," Rainbow replied, trying to act cool," I'm Rainbow, by the way."
"Nice to meet you Rainbow," Tails replied,"I'm Tails. Here, let me help you in." Tails helped Rainbow get into the plane and buckle up. With that, they flew off, to help there best friends fight Eggman.
Meanwhile, Sonic and Fluttershy had already had a nice, little chat and ready to start fighting. Once they saw the robot they were up against, Sonic explained the plan to Fluttershy.
"Ok, so the plan is that we run all the way down to that ramp where Tails, and probably Rainbow too, are going to let down some ropes so we can swing over to that ledge over there , and then the robot will fall in the lava. But if the plan's going to work, you're going to have to keep up with me. Can you do that?" Sonic explained.
"I did it earlier, I can do it again." Fluttershy responded, knowing she could keep up.
"Ok. Go!" Sonic said. At that, they started running towards the ramp with the robot going the other way. Up in the air, Tails and Rainbow were ready with the ropes so there friends could swing over. Once Sonic and Fluttershy were on the ledge, Tails and Rainbow were going back to base. But, as the robot was falling in the lava, it stretched up one of its claws and knocked the plane Tails and Rainbow were in out of the sky!
"Rainbow! Tails!" Sonic and Fluttershy called, worried about there friends. They ran over to them as fast as they could to the spot there friends had landed. Once there , they were relived to find out that they weren't hurt , just knocked out. They both agreed that the best way to keep them safe was to take them off the battlefield, no matter what they had to do.

A few hours after the claw and the robot incident, Rainbow woke up inside Tails room at the team base. Since she saw the room in the comic, at least she knew where she was.
"Guys," Rainbow called," Fluttershy! Tails! Sonic!" She looked up to see that Fluttershy was in the corner waiting for Rainbow to wake up.
"Rainbow," Fluttershy said, sounding relived," I'm so glad your ok! I've got to tell you something!"
"Let my guess," Rainbow reacted, still a little tired," the bit when Sonic fired Tails happened while I was out."
Fluttershy was getting nervous again," That, and sidekick tryouts are happening right now. You stay here and get some rest. I'll go and get some food." And with that, she was gone.

Meanwhile, sidekick tryouts weren't going well for Sonic. One of his friends, Amy Rose , adutioned, and all she did was make Sonic really mad. A beaver, whose always correcting people and starting sentences with 'actually' , just gave him a headache. Knuckles, another one of his friends and very stupid, thought Sonic was auditioning to be his sidekick! Just when he was about to give up, a man in a cloak with his hood up, came in. It didn't take long for Sonic to realise that he was perfect!
"Ok " Sonic said to the perfect canadate ," just one more question. What would you do in a no-win situation?"
"As long as I'm with you, there's no such thing as a no-win situation." The man answered.
"Wow" Sonic said," You really get how things work, new guy."
"I do get it," he replied," but I'm not really a new guy. In reality, I'm actually...." The man tried to get his clock , definitely struggling. Eventually, he fell over and the cloak came off. When Sonic saw who he was , he was in shock.
"Tails!" Sonic exclaimed," I fired you. You can't be my sidekick."
"Really " Tails replied, holding up the tryout poster he put up," All qualified candidates welcome. Best one gets the job. I'm a lock. Unless, there's something you're not telling me." Sonic really didn't want to tell Tails why he fired him, so he did his best to cover it up.
"Fine" he said, angry," but get ready for the tryout of your life!" Just as he finished, Dr. Eggman walked in!
"What do you want, Eggface!" Tails yelled.
Don't worry," he said, decently calm," I'm just here to tryout for the sidekick position."
"But," Sonic started, nearly ready to blow a fuse," you're my arch nemesis, you can't be my sidekick!"
"All qualified candidates welcome," Eggman said, showing him the poster again. Sonic really wished he hadn't put that there.
"Fine," said Sonic, giving in. You can both move on too round two. But neither one of you are going to be my sidekick."
"Who else is there?" Tails asked. Just then, Fluttershy walked in.
"Is it okay if I borrow some food?" she asked nicely.
"Congrats, Fluttershy. Your the third canadate."
"Uh oh." Fluttershy said, knowing that she had just walked into a hole lot of trouble.

Later in the forest, Tails, Fluttershy and Eggman were ready for round two.
"Ok," Sonic started," being my sidekick is no easy task. This challenge will test your, speed, , brains and skills. To win, you need to race along the track, get to your veachlies and bring me back the flag I planted on top of MT. Danger. Any questions?" Nobody put there hand up. "Ok then, GO!" Sonic called. While everyone raced to there veachlies went nice and smoothly. Fluttershy dropped out pretty quick so Tails could win the race, and started heading towards the frozen lake. But once Eggman and Tails were in the home stretch, Eggman told Tails that he was only here to get rid of him and Sonic once and for all. Then he pushed a button on his hand and up came a replica of the robot that caused this mess in the first place. Once Sonic saw this, plus another crash scene, he ran to the frozen lake where Fluttershy was already helping Tails. Together, they all got him out and over to a safe side of the lake. Finally, Sonic decided to come clean.
"Tails," he started," I really didn't want to fire you, I was just trying to protect you."
"By what," Tails said unconvinced," by putting me in more danger."
"The plan had holes." Sonic admitted. Tails smiled, knowing that things were now back to normal. But it wasn't over yet.
"Oh, Sonic," Eggman called from behind them. "I have one more surprise for you. My robot can shoot fire!" And with that, the robot shot some fire causing a lot of melted spots in the ice. Fluttershy and Tails were able to get out the way in time, Sonic fell into the water, and he can't swim! Fluttershy and Tails tried to help, but he was so waterlogged that they couldn't pull him out.
"Don't worry about me," Sonic told them," get out of here." Since Fluttershy wasn't the type to disobey orders , she went over to fight the robot. But Tails wasn't moving.
"That's not how sidekicks do." he told Sonic, still pulling. Suddenly they were both pulled underwater! Quickly, Tails used his tails to get them out quickly and finishing the robot with Fluttershy, ending Rainbow's and Fluttershy's first day in another world.
