A human boy, only one month of age, is found within the Everfree forest by Princess Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy. However the two are at a loss when attempts to locate it's mother, or learn anything about it fail. She is taken aback as she learns that not even Celestia knows what this might be. After tests and analysis, the princesses choose to allow Twilight to raise and care for this creature. However what they interpret to be a freak, isolated discovery will distantly become the choice that affects the fate of many races, and countless lives.
