Cadence's Pokémon Journey
It was a normal day in Equestria and in the city Canterlot lived Princess Mi Amore Cadenza the alicorn of love. She was laying in her bed, crying. She had found out that her coltfriend had gone out with her because she was a princess, so she broke up with him. 'How could he use me this way? Why can't I find somepony who loves me for who I am? Sometimes I wish that I was not a princess.' Suddenly her stomach grumble. 'Maybe I think better with a full stomach.'
She walked out of the bedroom and towards the kitchen, she had to go through the living room to get there but she did not come any further. In the living room there was a rainbow portal she thought it was a portal, she approached it very cautiously. 'A portal? Where did that come from? Maybe I should go and get aunt Celestia.' But before she got to do something the portal began to dragg her towards it.
"What's happening? Somepony help."
But no one could hear her, she tried to teleported away from it and fly away but nothing works. 'Nothing is working, the portal is to strong.' It was too late, she disappeared through it.
It was a beautiful day in Sinnoh, a wild Starly was loking for food then he saw something on the ground. He flew down and landed next to what he saw and it was a human, more particularly a girl. She was naked and she was lying on her back, out of curiosity Starly touched her hand with his beak, she moved. He touched her again.
"I'm up, my head. I have a terrible headache."
She put a hoof to her head but something was wrong, she look at her hoof but it was not there instead she had something she had seen on monkeys. She managed to get into a site position to get a better look on her body, and something was very wrong. Firstly, all her fur was gone second was that her breasts in the wrong place.
"What happened to me? Why is my body so weird?"
"Starly."
She looked toward where the voice came from and what she saw was a bird but it was no bird she had seen before.
"What are you? Are you a bird?"
"Starly, starly." It only smiled
"I take that as a yes. Where am I?"
For the first time she saw where she was and she was in a forest, she also different animals she had never seen before. She tried to stand up with the new body but it did not go so well, she fell on her face. "This will take some time to get used to." She tried again, this time it went a bit better but her legs were very unstable. Then she looked at Starly.
"Do you know where there's a town nearby?"
Starly nodded his head and flew toward a city, so she thinks. She tried to keep up with the bird but it was difficult , she was not accustomed to go with the new body. She fell many times fortunately Starly waited for her.
"I think I'm starting to get the hang of this." She should not have said that for right after that she fell on her face again. "Me and my big mouth." Starly land next to her with a troubled face. "I'm ok." She got up again and they were on their way again.
"I hope that we get to a town soon, I'm so hungry."
She does know how long she had walk, it felt like several hours. But finally they came out of the woods and there she saw a town, she was so happy to get out of the woods. She walk to the nearest house she saw, when she came closer to the house she saw more weird animals. ''What kind of animals are they? I've never seen so many strange animals before.'
"Can I help you?"
Cadence was startled by the voice, she turned to where the voice came from and what she saw was:

"Yes, I was wondering if you could help me, I do not know where I am also I am very hungry."
The man studied her carefully the first thing he noticed that she was naked then it was her hair, she had three different colors in it. Cadence was a little nervous of the man.
"I'd like to help you but first can you explain why you're naked."
"What do you mean? I'm always naked." The man raised eyebrows of those words.
"Maybe we should continue this conversation inside." Suddenly a Starly landed on her head. "A wild Starly, it looks like it likes you."
"Do you know what kinde of bird this is? I've never seen one like this before." She pointed at Starly.
"Have you never seen a Pokémon before?"
Now there was a word she had never heard before. "Pok-é-mon? What's that?"
"You are not from around here, are you." She just shake her head. "Let's go into my laboratory so we can talk more there, what is your name?"
"It's Cadence."
"Nice to meet you Cadence, my name is Professor Rowan. Now, if you will follow me."He went into the house.
Cadence did not know if she could trust him, but she had no choice so she followed him with Starly on her head. When she enter the house she saw lots of things she did not know what was. "You can sit on the couch while I find something you can wear." She sat down while Brown disappeared into another room, Starly jumped down from her head and down on to the table.
After a while Rowan came back with a red sweater. "This was the only thing I found, hope it fits." He gave it to Cadence and she tried it on, it was a little too big for her. "So can you explain to me how you ended up in my backyard naked." She took a deep breath.
"I was on my way to the kitchen to get me something to eat but I did not get very long because in my living room was a portal, suddenly I was drawn to it after that I woke up in a forest."
"Something tells me you're not from around here and that you were not a human before you came here." She was not surprised by that.
"No, I am from a country called Equestria and I was a pony, I do not know why the portal send me here. I do not know if I can come home again."
She began to cry, Brown went to fetched some paper tolwels and gave it to her.
"Thanks."
"Well Cadence I do not know if I can help you find a way home, I study Pokémon not portals. But you can to stay here as long as you want."
Of that, she smiled. "Thank you, can you tell me where I am."
"This is Sandgem town in Sinnoh region, and this is my laboratory where I study Pokémon. Now, did you not say that you were hungry?"
Just when he said those words her stomach grumble, she blushed a bit of that. Brown just smild.
"I take that as a yes, come on I can make some sandwiches."
After they had eaten, she helped Brown feed the Pokémon who lived there. Evening came, Cadence lay in bed in the room she had received by Brown, Starly sleep allready on a chair. She was amaze by this world but she missed Equestria, she missed her parents and Twilight. Finally sleep took over and a new day awaited her.
Cadence's Pokémon Journey
For the next few days Cadence learned everything she could about this new world and one thing was sure they were much more advanced than Equestria, there was one thing she did not understand and that was why humans wore clothes, but she said nothing. There was one thing that interested her and that was the Pokémon league, she had always wanted to do something different and this suits her well, but Brown was not quite sure.
"Are you sure about this?" He asked her as they sat in the kitchen eating breakfast.
"Almost all my life I have not been allowed to do anything I want, I've never been outside Canterlot because I was a 'princess', yet here they do not know who I am. So yes, I'm sure."
Brown could see the determination in her eyes. "Something tells me that I can not get you to change your mind."
"Nope."
"Very well, follow me." She followed him to the lab as he walked over to the desk and began searching one of the drawers, he took out something that looked like a red book and gave it to Cadence. "This is a pokedex. It contains information about Pokémon and you need a starting Pokémon, but I have only one left." He walked over to a table and there lay a a red and white ball. "This is a Poké Ball, inside this is a Pokémon."
"You must be joking, a Pokémon can not be inside that small ball."
"If you do not believe me then picked it up and throw it up in the air."
She did exactly as he said and out came something resembling a monkey but its tail was on fire.
"Chimchar?"
Cadence could not believe what she saw. "What just happened? A Pokémon came out it."
"No one knows for sure how it works but we do not think about it much."
Chimchar did not quite understand what exactly happened but when he saw Cadence he just smiled, she noticed that.
"I think he likes you," Brown told her. "why not try the pokedex on Chimchar." She opened it and pointed it at Chimchar.
"Chimchar: the Chimp Pokémon. It's fiery rear end is fueled by gas mad in its belly. Even rain can't extinguish the fire."
"Amazing."
"Yes, it is, here are five extra Poké Ball's for your journey and a map of Sinnoh. I suggest you wait until tomorrow to leave, because then you get an early start." He gave her the Poké Balls.
Suddenly a Starly flew in and landed on Cadence head. "Starly."
"I think that Starly wants to come alone on your journey." Brown told her.
"Do you think so?"
"It looks like it."
Then Starly flew out the door, Cadence, Chimchar and Brown followed. Once out, Starly circled over them as if he was ready for a fight.
"I think that Starly wants to have a battle."
She look at Brown "Are you sure?"
"Yes, if you are going to challenge the Pokémon League then it is wise that you get some battle experience."
"You have a point." Cadence opened her pokedex.
"Starly: the Starling Pokémon. Usually with a large flock, it is barely noticeable when alone. Its cries are very strident."
"Alright, are you ready Chimchar?"
Chimchar nodded his head then he ran out on the grass. Starly began to fly very fast towards Chimchar, he hit him very hard.
"Cadence," she look at Brown, "you have to tell Chimchar what to do, you can not just stand there."
"Oh right, I forgot. Chimchar use Ember on Starly."
Fire came out of his mouth but Starly dogded it, then its wings began to glow.
"That's wing attack," Brown told her.
"Get away from that attack Chimchar." He did as she said and barely dogde it, Starly turned to attack with wing attack again. "Now use scratch." Chimchar clawed Starly very hard. "Ember." Flames come out of his mouth and hit Starly he past out.
"Quickly, throw a Poké Ball a Starly before she recovers." Brown told her.
She did as he said, the ball hit Starly and he disappeared into the Poké Ball inn a red flash, the ball wiggled around for a while before it stopped with a small click. Cadence just look at the ball.
"What just happen? He just vanished into the ball." Brown approached her.
"You just caught Starly."
She picked up the ball. 'I do not understand how a Pokémon can just disappear into a Poké Ball.'
"So, how was your first battle?"
"It was very exciting, this is something I'm not going to forget."
Brown just smiled. "Just wait until your first battle against a trainer."
Cadence spent the rest of the day training with her Pokémon, But night soon came.
Brown and Cadence were sitting inside eating supper.
"Which city is the first I have to go to?" She asked Brown.
"Oreburgh City. I'll show it on the map after we finished eating."
After they had finished eating, they went into the living room so Brown could show Cadence where she should go. He took out a map from the shelf and put it on a table.
"You must first go to Jubilife City then you go east until you reach Oreburgh City. I suggest that you spend the night in Jubilife, it is impossible to get to Oreburgh in one day from here."
"If you say so."
Early next morning Cadence was ready to go out on her journey, she stood outside Brown Pokémon lab. She had a backpack with her, there she had things she needed for the journey.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Brown asked her.
"Yes, I'm sure."
"Alright then, just remember that you can call me when you have questions. Good luck and be careful."
Cadence surprised him with a hug. "I will, thanks for everything." He return the hug.
After they had finished giving each other a hug, Cadence was on her way to Jubilife City. On the way to the City she saw many Pokémon, but it was one that got her attention. It was small and it had a bud on the top, it stood by a pond, she checked her pokedex.
"Budew: the Bud Pokémon. When it feels the sun's warm touch, it opens its bud to release pollen. It lives alongside clear pools."
She thinks that Budew was incredibly cute. 'I just have to catch it.' She took out a Poké Ball. "Come out Starly. Use quick attack on Budew."
Starly flew very fast towards Budew and hit her hard.
"Keep using quick attack." Again flew Starly towards Budew but this time Budew was ready, something came out of bud and it hit Starly. Starly fell asleep. "Starly." 'Budew must have used sleep powder.'
"Starly return." She returned Starly and called out Chimchar. "Your turn Chimchar, use ember." He hit Budew with fire and it did a lot of damage. "Now finish it off with scratch." Chimchar hit Budew very hard and she past out, Cadence took out a empty Poké Ball and threw it at Budew and he disappeared into the ball. The ball did exactly the same as it did when she caught Starly and Budew was caught.
She could not do anything but smile, she picked up the ball that Budew was inside. "We did it Chimchar, we caught Budew."
Chimchar started to jump up and down with joy. "Chimchar."
"Come on, let's get to Jubilife City."
And with that they were on their way to the next town, Cadence looked forward to what lay in the future and what kind of Pokémon she would see and catch.
