In a long forgotten town the majority of the population live in poverty, barely able to support themselves or their makeshift families. Rainbow Dash is one such pony living as a thief to survive and support her adopted sister. But her gambling addiction costs the mare everything she holds precious, her home, her sister's happiness and finally, her life.

However Rainbow can't accept leaving her sister alone to die and sacrifices her own eternity of happiness in the vain hope of redeeming her sister's life from the gutter, before her dying body deteriorates beyond repair.

Using the basic premise of All Dogs go to Heaven, this story develops in a new, more emotional way for the characters involved resulting in a more personal take on the original story.
