It has only been a few weeks since princess Luna returned to Equestria. She is still trying get used to living in canterlot and she is noticing that there is something odd about Equestria since her banishment. Her night seems different than it used to a thousand years ago. Luna also feels paranoid and guilty from her previous actions as Nightmare Moon. So much so that the only pony she talks to is her own sister. She tries to ignore and suppress her negative emotions, but in time it might be the very thing that destroys her unless she does something about them.

One day Luna meets a pony that will change her view on Equestria forever. Soon She will learn to cope with her past, rid herself of the darkness that lures inside of her and slowly try and integrate herself into pony society once more. Soon she will understand to see beyond the harmonious land of Equestria and look into the darker shades of her country and the extreme measures some take to protect it.
