//-------------------------------------------------------// Experimental Filly -by peppermintbrownie- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 Inside the Tardis, the Doctor and Trixie were talking about where they would go next. When all of a sudden the Tardis jerked off course. "What's going on?!," Trixie asked. "I don't know! She's completely out of control. And-Ok! You might want to hold on to something! Looks like the Tardis has picked our next adventure for us," the Doctor said. The Tardis stopped, with a crash, making the two fall to the floor. When they stopped, the doctor came out. It was the middle of winter and it was snowing really hard. The two came out. “Where are we?,” Trixie asked. “I have no idea. Anything looks familiar to you?,” the Doctor asked. “No. I don’t think so,” “Get in the house you two!,” a stallion called from inside a log cabin. The two ran inside. “Oh! Thank you!,” Trixie said. “No problem. What are you two doing out here. No pony ever comes in here,” the stallion said nervously. He was as white as snow, with a pale, straight, shiny mane. Pale eyes and a test tube with a green fluid inside of it as a cutie mark. “We wondered out here. Would you mind tell is, where and when we are?,” the Doctor asked. “Um…. The Siberia, August 11th, 1000 year of Celesta's Rule,” the stallion said. “This is the same day, I left,” Trixie whispered. “It’s the present day, at the present time,” the Doctor whispered back. “Sorry, what was that?,” the stallion asked. “Oh, nothing. We were just saying it would be hard for us to get back,” the Doctor said quickly. “Well, your welcome to stay here, until the storm slows down. I’m Testtube by the way,” the stallion said. “I’m the Doctor and this is Trixie,” the Doctor said. “Well, you’re welcome to explore you two. You can even go into the other log cabin where my assistant is for the night. I…. have...to….finish up…. somethings,” Testtube said, backing away nervously into a barn, next to the log cabin. “Well I think, I’m going to go into that house for the night,” Trixie said as she began to leave. “Are you coming?,” Trixie asked, when she turned around to see that the Doctor wasn’t coming. “You go on ahead, I’ll catch up. Something doesn’t feel right,” the Doctor said. “If you say so,” Trixie said as she left. Testtube came in. The Doctor hid around the corner, just before he fully came in and saw him. “And you can stay in there until your chores tomorrow!,” Testtube scolded someone inside the barn . He sighed. “I’m going to bed,” he said as he turned the corner and went up the stairs. The Doctor waited until he heard the bedroom door close before coming out. He went over the door he had gone in and opened it. It led through a hall that led to the barn. When he went in the barn, he heard a soft crying. “Hello? Is anyone there?,” he called out. The crying stopped. There were lots of test tubes and beakers filled with liquids on a wooden desk in the barn. Most likely were Testtube does his work. It was so cold inside the barn, even with the door closed that the Doctor could just barley see his breath. “Wow! It’s cold in here!,” the Doctor said. Just then, he saw something move over by the side of the desk. “Wait. What is that?,” he said. He grabbed the flashlight that was on a barrel with his mouth and turned it on. He walked over to the desk and went to the side. He took the flashlight with his hoof and pointed it downward. There was a little filly there. A cherry red pegasus filly, with a golden mane, straight mane. It was completely flat, and together. It looked a lot like Testtube’s mane. She had a timber wolf saying something loudly for a cutie mark. She was shaking quite violently, and did not look very healthy or well nourished. She had her wings folded in, was laying down on a thin blanket and small pillow and another thin blanket over her one would assume was her bed, and had a large metal neck brace around her neck chained to the wall of the barn near the desk. “Wait what?,” the Doctor exclaimed. “Please…. get me out of here…… before…. he come’s back,” the filly said, shakily, her voice was soft spoken and gentle voice. ‘He’ must be referring to Testtube. She looked so scared that the Doctor thought that part of the reason she was shaking so much was from fear. He scanned her and checked the reading, he was shocked by what he saw. He was partially right, fear was a small part of the reason she was shaking so much, but it was mainly because she was so cold. She was also hungry, tired and in pain. He looked back down at the filly. “Okay. Okay. Here, hold still,” he said as he used his sonic screwdriver on the lock. It opened and the filly used a hoof to throw it aside. “Can you stand?,” the Doctor asked. “I- I think so,” the filly said. She slowly raised to her hooves. She was a young filly, the average school filly age. "Good. Now, to get you out of here," the Doctor said. He bent down enough to get under the filly and lifted her up on his back. Then he grabbed the two thin blankets and put them on his back. He stopped when they were covering half of the filly ' body. "Alright. Be quiet and very still. Oh. And try to lie down as much as possible, that might help," the Doctor said. The filly nodded. The Doctor finished covering her with the blankets. He opened the door to the hallway and went back to the house. He looked around before completely coming in. He closed the door quietly. He left the log cabin and went through the snow to the other building. It was difficult to see. Luckily, the blankets were thick enough to keep from blowing off the filly. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 The filly had fallen asleep not long after being taken out of the barn. A grey unicorn mare appeared at the door. She had an ice blue bouncy mane, ice blue ice and a block of ice for a cutie mark. “Get in here, sir. Quickly,” the mare said, her voice was gentle but it broke a bit. The Doctor ran inside. The house was small, but it was warm. Trixie was also in there. “What took you so long?,” Trixie asked. “Sorry. I found something…..odd,” the Doctor said. He walked over to the couch and gently put the sleeping filly on it before taking the covers off her head. The mare was shocked by it. She put a hoof over her mouth. “Oh my Celestia. I was hoping this day would never come,” the mare said. “What are you talking about, Iceblock?,” Trixie asked. “I found this filly in the barn. She didn’t seem to be in very well cared for condition,” the Doctor explained to Trixie. “She’s not,” Iceblock said. “What?,” the Doctor asked. “That stallion that you met before, he’s been experimenting on her. You didn’t notice? The chained brace. But he’s not doing it to be mean. He just wants to help her,” the mare said. “How does that help her?,” Trixie asked. “There’s something wrong with her. She was abandoned. We never met her parents, she was just left at our door as a baby. We raised her well, she seemed to be just a normal little filly, up until the day she got her cutie mark. She said she felt a numbing feeling in it before the world went black. She said she didn’t remember what happened after that. But it kept happening. Over time we noticed some changes. She was saying strange things that her teachers were not teaching her, became smarter than any pony else in her class. My employer is trying to cure what ever it is with medicine. But nothing seems to work, my employer is getting more and more frustrated with her, getting more forceful, she’s just getting worse. My employer has even thought she was slowly going crazy. But there are no signs of her going crazy other than the strange things she says.  I usually take care of her now. She’s such a sweet filly,” the mare explained. The filly woke up with a yawn. “Oh hello Miss. Iceblock. How did I get here?,” the filly said. “I brought you here,” the Doctor said. “Thank you,” the filly said. She got off the couch. “Sorry what’s your name. I didn’t catch it back in the barn,” the Doctor asked nicely. “Autumn Root. My name is Autumn Root. But most ponies just call me Autumn,” the filly said. “I’ll get you some food sweetie,” Iceblock said. She went into the kitchen. “So Autumn, Iceblock has been telling us that that stallion was trying to cure you,” the Doctor said, “Yes. He’s just been having a bad day today. But he’s trying to figure out what’s happening to me. When I got my cutie mark I felt it numbing feeling in my flank a few seconds after I got it. I don’t know what it was, but suddenly, I got really light headed. Then everything went black. The next thing I remember is my two best friends starring at me. When I got up they said I was just lying there. Eyes glowing, and I was mumbling uncontrollably. It was weird, but it just happens on again and off again,” Autumn explained. “That’s odd,” the Doctor said. He took out his out his sonic screwdriver. “Well, let’s have a look,” the Doctor said. He scanned the couch and then checked the readings. “Hm. Well there’s a weak physic signal around the couch around you and now you,” He scanned the filly and the sonic screwdriver’s beep got more high pitched. “And… Oh my,” the Doctor said shocked. “What is it?,” Autumn asked. “Your whole body is practically drowning in magic. Every cell in your body has it in large amounts. It’s huge, each one is filled to the brim with it. The energy is outstanding,” the Doctor said. “Thank you. That’s what my doctor said. Every strand of my hair and blood cell is filled with the stuff. It’s not active magic, at least not when I got tested. The first time I had that black out I would get transported to the hospital. They would check for irregular heartbeats, blood pressure, problems in the eyes and ears, high or low temperature. The next day, when they didn’t find anything wrong with that they started taking X-Rays. My bones, my brain everything. They examined those, it took them all night. I had to stay there for two nights at that point. They still didn’t find anything wrong. They took some hair samples, blood samples and saliva samples. The next morning they told us that they did find that all those samples were filled with magic. When they looked at it more closely they found that it was inactive. It had been passively active but only for the few seconds, at the exact time before after and during the black out. After that it was as if it never existed. They also gave me bad news about my wings. I knew I’ve always been scared of opening them or letting anyone touch me in a certain way, because they’ve been hurt before, by my biological parents when I was a baby-,” “Hang on. If this happened when you were a baby, how do you remember it?,” Trixie asked. “Because when I was given up they also left me a letter explaining it. They said they did it to me purposely as punishment for being a pegasus since my mother was a unicorn and my father was an earth pony. They said the only reason I ended up as a pegasus was because my mother’s mother and sister were pegasus. But my mother’s father was unicorn so that’s why my mother ended up being a unicorn. They said they didn’t want their friends making fun of their strange family tree, so they gave me up and gave me up to a family were pegasi are more ‘fit’ to live in,”
