Discord's Disastrous Morning After…
One Regretful Hangover...
Discord, the Spirit of Chaos was known for being quite odd and chaotic when he was fully awake, but some ponies wonder what his dreams actually look like…
Despite his crazy nature he actually dreams like regular ponies, and in this dream he found himself in a movie theater watching something he couldn't believe was real. the tracking little fillies into babysitting Fluttershy’s animals, going to a bar in the first time in a thousand years, having a chaotic time tormenting some ponies….then the dream show him drunkenly kissing a mare that he didn’t know was Rainbow Dash, thinking it was Fluttershy to which he then apologized the the wrong mare, all the while a certain cyran colored mare with the darkest rage on her face barge in and create a chaotic and awkward moment for the poor spirit.
Discord thanked his lucky stars that it was just a dream...until he woke up.
Standing over the spirit with a odd look of concern mix with confusion was Fluttershy, to which Discord now realized that was not a dream. It was the outcome of a terribly bad idea that gave way to a difficult situation.
Discord pulled himself up and dusted of the dirt from the floor, all the while trying not to look into Fluttershy’s big eyes. Discord turned to see Rainbow Dash still staring at him.
“Oh...hi there Rainbow Dash hehe...how’s it going?” Discord answered with a nervous chuckle.
“Don’t ‘how's it going’ me!” Rainbow almost growled, getting right into Discord's personal space poking a hoof into his chest.
“Look i was really drunk last night and i’m sorry for anything i did.”
“You know what you did!, and let’s get one thing straight i’ll overlook this one time for Fluttershy’s sake....just this one time! but if stuff like that happens to me again, you’ll be looking for new teeth once i’m done with you!” Rainbow Dash turned around, nodded to Fluttershy, and stormed out of the cottage.
Discord felt a bit bad about that ‘outburst of affection’ he gave Rainbow Dash last night, but it looks like he dodged the bullet with her. However he tuned his head to see Fluttershy still staring at him with those eyes. Those big, wide and curious eyes.
Discord would never admit this to anypony, but he always thought Fluttershy’s eyes were quite lovely. They reminded him of the the green of a lush forest, harmonious yet chaotic at the same time. Fluttershy walked to the front door while talking to the spirit.
“Discord?” Fluttershy’s dainty voice cracked a bit.
“Yes Fluttershy?” Discord was prepared for a stern lecture about the dangers of alcohol.
“Oh, um, i just wanted you to know i'm going into town for awhile.”
“Oh...Ok.”
With that Fluttershy left for Ponyville leaving Discord very confused about how this was going to play out. Discord needed advice or a shrink to talk this weird emotional stuff out with. an Idea hit Discord like a cream pie to the face.
“I know exactly who to talk too!” with a snap of his fingers Discord vanished. . .
Within a flash of light and a puff of pink smoke Discord appeared inside Sugarcube Corner. In the few minutes he stood there a certain pink pony came bouncing out of the back room and to Discords surprise threw a coconut cream pie at his face. He quickly stuck out his tongue at Pinkie then proceeded to lick it off. Pinkie chuckled as she realized who it was she hit with said pie.
“Oh hi there Discord, how's it going?”
“Ah Pinkie Pie, the one pony who is almost as chaotic as me, i need some advice.”
“If its on what to eat for lunch i recommend the chocolate fountain cake, but anywho what on your mind?”
Discord hesitated. “So, here is my problem.” He snapped his fingers and conjured a large sofa that floated above the wooden flooring and then sat down.
“Well, I went to have a little drink of liquor... “
“Oh Rainbow Dash mentioned that, I couldn't stop laughing!!…go on”
“See it’s Fluttershy im worried about, i think she now knows i have some ‘weird feelings’ for her and i’m not sure what i should do.”
“I’m sure Fluttershy is still going to be your friend even if you tell her how you feel.”
“I’m just not sure…”
“Don’t worry so much and just tell her.”
“Thank you Pinkie Pie…” Before he could continue on Pinkie bounced into a broom closet for some odd reason, but she was right and so Discord snapped his fingers and disappeared.
Within the cottage Fluttershy was preparing a meal for herself, her animals, and Discord who after talking to her friends knew exactly what to say to him. Without missing a beat in a puff of pink smoke Discord appeared in the cottage.
Discord sighed and knelt down beside Fluttershy and confessed.
“Fluttershy I’m sorry about that drunken mistake with Rainbow Dash, but this whole event made me realized that i do have feeling for you, and i hope you feel the same so….I thought that maybe I could ask you if…If you wanted to be my special somepony?”
“Yes.”
“I mean I understand if you don’t. I don’t know if another stallion asked you or-” Discord eyes went wide. “Wait! Come again?”
Fluttershy smiled at Discord. “Yes. I will be your special somepony.”
Discord went speechless and opened his mouth, unable to hear any words coming out. He wasn't sure if this was real or he was having a huacanation, but he decided to wing it.
“Discord?”
Fluttershy suddenly found herself being embraced in a big hug. At first, she squeaked in surprise before hugging Discord back.
“My dear Fluttershy,” Discord spoke and then the draconequus looked into Fluttershy’s big teal eyes which shone brighter than ever before.
Discord gave out his arm and Fluttershy took it. The timid pegasus then leaned in and pecked Discord’s cheek.
“Oh my Celestia! She kissed me!” Discord exclaimed to himself.
