//-------------------------------------------------------// No way can I escape with her! -by Suika999- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Where are we, Lazuli? //-------------------------------------------------------// Where are we, Lazuli? Lazuli and Starlight were both best friends. Lazuli had a Lapis Lazuli blue body and a light blue mane. Her friend, Starlight, had a pink body, sunset eyes, and a pink and yellow striped mane. Lazuli loved flying and all that pegasus stuff while Starlight was just being crazy. Starlight and Lazuli were both the same age, and both little fillies. Well on one particular morning Starlight raced into Lazuli's house and woke her up, by shaking her violently and screaming in her face. "RAZURI! RAZURI! ASA! ASA! RAZURIIIIIIIII!" Starlight shouted. "STOP SHOUTING AT ME IN JAPANESE!" shouted Lazuli. Starlight stopped shaking Lazuli and screaming and just sat down. "Lazuli! Today it's time for our flying exams!" she told Lazuli. Lazuli looked up. "Flying exams? Oh gosh! I almost forgot!" she exclaimed. "Neko wa kawaii desu!!!" exclaimed Starlight, patting Lazuli's cat, Emerald. "Yes, her name is Emerald. Now start speaking English because if you do that at the flying exams they won't be able to understand you" said Lazuli as she packed her bag. "Nani?" asked Starlight. "Starlight! Speak English!" growled Lazuli. "Sorry, Asa means morning, Neko wa kawaii desu means cat is cute, Nani means what?" Starlight apologized. "I can understand you but the ponies at the flying exams might not. Now c'mon" said Lazuli, walking out her bedroom door. Starlight followed happily, unaware that the day of their flying exams would be the worst day ever. Lazuli and Starlight arrived at the flying exams just on time. They followed two older ponies who were showing them what to do. "Okay, so you fly through all those loops then you do a trick at the end" explained one of the elder ponies, pointing his hoof at the track. Lazuli and Starlight nodded, they were determined to do the track the right way, perfect if necessary. Lazuli waited and watched the other fillies and colts do their exams. Some of them crashed and were disqualified but some of them done perfectly. "Ooh, competition" Starlight whispered to Lazuli. "Starlight, this isn't a competition" Lazuli reminded Starlight. "Oh, I know! But it's just so exciting! What if we win?" giggled Starlight. "Starlight, nopony wins! You pass or you fail but nopony wins!" whispered Lazuli. "Ooohhh! Too bad! Okay!" said Starlight, she was still happy even after saying "too bad!". A pony was calling names and beckoning fillies. Eventually he called out "Lazuli! Starlight!". "We're doing them together?" wondered Lazuli. Her and Starlight walked up to the starting line. "Ready, steady, GO!". Lazuli and Starlight sped off as fast as they could. They both flew together through the hoops. Suddenly Starlight crashed into a cloud. Distracted by Starlight, Lazuli also crashed. "DISQUALIFIED!" shouted the pony who was calling names. Lazuli and Starlight flew back up to the other clouds sadly. "We lost..." muttered Starlight. "STARLIGHT! THIS IS NOT A COMPETITION!" whispered Lazuli angrily. Starlight shook her head sadly. "Oh well... There's always next time..." she muttered. "There won't be a next time! Come with me and make yourselves useful! No hard work invovled!" said a random stranger pony. "No hard work!? AWESOME!" exclaimed Starlight. "No no Starlight! He's trying to kidnap us!" snapped Lazulli. "Kidnap you? Why would I want to do that? You're both such nice fillies! I couldn't possibly want to kidnap you!" said the older pony. "Please Lazuli! We gotta go with him!" pleaded Starlight. "Starlight, strangers kidnap children, c'mon, we're going home" said Lazuli, pulling Starlight away. "Um, YOU DON'T GET A CHOICE!" said the stranger pony. He instantly grabbed them both and chucked them in a carriage, then drove off.   "DDDDAAAAMMMNNNN!" shouted Lazuli. "It's not my fault!" whimpered Starlight. "But you consulted with him!"shouted Lazuli. "Yeah, but he seems nice. We're gonna go to a icecream shop!" smiled Starlight. "WE ARE NOT GOING TO AN ICECREAM SHOP! WE ARE BEING KIDNAPPED!" shouted Lazuli. "I'm sure we'll get icecream. I hope I get vanilla! Or maybe strawberry" muttered Starlight. "STARLIGHT!!!! THERE IS NO ICECREAM!" shouted Lazuli. Starlight finally went quiet. "Baka da na..." muttered Lazuli. Suddenly the carriage gave a jolt and stopped. Starlight flicked her ear. "I think we're here" she said. "Of course! Now we gotta run!" exclaimed Lazuli. "No Lazuli, I want icecream first!" said Starlight. "The only icecream you'll be getting is poison icecream!" shouted Lazuli. "Just lemme get some icecream! It'll only take a second!" said Starlight, hopping out of the carriage. She started talking to the pony who had been driving the carriage. "Do we get icecream? I love icecream!" asked Starlight. "Um, yeah, sure" answered the pony. "Great! Where is it?" asked Starlight. "Through that door" answered the older pony, pointing to a door that was stuck into a giant mass of clouds. "Thanks! C'mon Lazuli!" said Starlight as she opened the door. Suddenly an orange female pegasus burst out from the door, landing on Starlight. She got up immediately and started pushing Starlight away from the door. "Nope, nope, we don't need anymore stickybeaks!" said the pegasus. "We came for icecream!" smiled Starlight. A stern look appeared on the pegasus's face. "Icecream? I'm Morning Rain, this way!" she walked back through the door. Lazuli followed Starlight and Morning Rain cautiously. She wasn't sure Morning Rain was leading them to icecream, though she wanted to believe that. Morning rain took them through a hallway into a giant room. Like, REALLY REALLY GIANT. Lazuli almost fainted when she saw a giant machine in the middle. "Oooh! Is this were all the icecream is made?" exclaimed Starlight. "Well you can believe that..." muttered Morning Rain under her breath. Starlight didn't hear but Lazuli did. She shivered. "What are we h-here for?" she asked nervously. "Ah, nothing much. Just sit around. And wait till you can be useful. Go over there" Morning Rain gestured to a cage full of fillies and colts. "WHAT!?" Lazuli gasped as Morning Rain dragged them both to the cage by the tail and pushed them in, shutting and locking the door after. "Damnit! See Starlight! This is why I said not to go! This is why!" shouted Lazuli. "Relax Lazuli! Just breath slowly! We're not gonna get icecream... We're gonna get marshmallows instead! smiled Starlight. "No Starlight! We don't get food! We get killed! This is what happens to foals who don't pass their flying exams!" snapped Lazuli in fear. "Hey you! Cream pegasus! No not the yellow-cream one! The cream and green one! get over here!" shouted Starlight. A pegasus turned around. "What?" she asked. "Where are we!?" shouted Starlight. "Stop it Starlight. You're encouraging them!" whispered Lazuli. "You're in the Rainbow Factory. And there is NO escape!" answered the cream and green pegasus. "See Lazuli? Their friendly!" smiled Starlight. "Starlight! She said there is NO escape! How is that friendly!?" asked Lazuli. "No escape from sweets!" smiled Starlight. "Starlight, ARE YOU SERIOUS!?" exclaimed Lazuli. "Oh Razuri! I se okei!" smiled Starlight. "Starlight! Cut it out! Take this seriously!" growled Lazuli. "Sorry" apologized Starlight. Suddenly Starlight was looking glum, as if she accepted she wasn't changing Lazuli's mind and she really was in danger. Lazuli looked around, there had to be some way to get out. Starlight started babbling about icecream again. "Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Banana, Boysenberry, Mango, Mint, Raspberry, Choc chip, Toffee, Blackberry, Blue-" loud screams cut off Starlight's babbling. Starlight looked up and fainted. //-------------------------------------------------------// This must be bad if Starlight faints... //-------------------------------------------------------// This must be bad if Starlight faints... Lazuli stared at Starlight. If Starlight had fainted then it must be bad. Lazuli didn't dare look up. She didn't want to faint too, or see what made Starlight faint. She started shaking Starlight. "Starlight you're scaring me! Tell me you just pretended to faint!" she shouted. Starlight didn't jump up and say "YEEEAAAAHHHH! Just pretendin'!". Suddenly, Lazuli felt something slightly warm drop on her head. She reached up her hoof and wiped it off then she looked at her hoof. It was red. Lazuli screamed and fainted. Lazuli woke up to the other foals shaking her.   "Wake up!" they hissed. Lazuli groaned.   "RAZURI RAZURIIII!!!!" Lazuli heard Starlight's voice shouting at her.   "What!?" asked Lazuli, slightly annoyed.   "Lazuli, the're arguing, AGAIN!" replied Starlight.   "Who?" Lazuli peered through the bars of the cage her and the other fillies were in. She noticed 3 adult mares, all pegasi and all wearing lab coats. Two of them seemed to be bickering loudly. The first one was sky blue with rainbow hair. The second one was light cream with a yellow and green mane. The third one was cream with a long, light pink mane. The blue one and the cream one were arguing and the light cream one was in the middle, sinking down very slowly.   "Watch your attitude Fluttershy!!!!!!!!!!!"   "Dashie, attitude is NOT something you can see"   "Grr! You know what I meant"   "Uh, guys?"   "Fluttershy! You seriously annoy me!"   "That's good because I really do try!"   "Ugh! You are gonna get it in a second!!!" The blue one started making a punching notion with it's hoof but the light cream one went on.   "Oh Rainbow Dash! You have no clue do you!?"   "What clue!?"   "You just don't get it! I try to annoy you because when you're arguing I'm taking the heck from Glaze!". The light cream one shot a stare at the supposedly called Fluttershy which of Fluttershy returned.   "Fluttershy!!!!!!" The blue one called Rainbow Dash had her wings raised, growling at Fluttershy. Fluttershy just continued to smile smugly, totally ignoring Rainbow's threats.   "Girls? Maybe we can just stop..." muttered the one called Glaze.   "Not until Rainbow Dash stops threatening me and just accepts she's stupid!" Fluttershy turned around and crossed her front legs.   "What!? You wish!" Rainbow Dash turned her head away, burning with rage.   "Um, well... Maybe if we stop arguing and let's just pretend you're both as good as the other?" suggested Glaze. Fluttershy turned away.   "Well, it will do for now..." muttered Rainbow Dash.   "Good! I'm glad that's over!" Glaze smiled worriedly, her green eyes flashing. Rainbow Dash looked like she had quite a temper and Fluttershy looked about to explode the world. Lazuli sighed relief. They weren't arguing about the fillies, just who was better. Starlight was spinning in happy circles, dancing around joyfully.   "How can you seriously be this happy?" asked Lazuli, slightly annoyed at Starlight's behaviour.   "Because I'm always happy! Even after I just woke up from fainting!" smiled Starlight. Lazuli slapped a hoof to her face in total annoyance. She could her Starlight still dancing and singing.   "Damnit, she's not gonna be any help... No way can I get out with her!"
