Spike's Summit

by TundraStanza
Non-stop planning and sleepless nights have left Twilight Sparkle quite exhausted on the day of the Princess Summit proper. But then suddenly, problems arise that only a princess can solve. How's Spike going to handle this with a loopy princess?

The Princess Summit is a commemoration to all of the fifty cities of Equestria that work together and acknowledge each other's unique gifts. The Princess of Friendship happened to promise the Canterlot diarchs that she could handle all of the extra planning details by herself. However, doing so has left her in a state worse than a Twitter-mite on empty.

Dutifully, the Crystal Princess asks her empire's bold hero to take command and make sure Twilight Sparkle gets proper rest. Without hesitation, said hero accepts. But problems arise that only a princess can deal with, and three out of four are occupied with vicious schedules at the corners of Canterlot City. What is the bold and honorable hero to do?

Well, what he shouldn't do is drag his charge around like a puppet and attempt to handle everything by himself.
...
Wait, Spike? What are you doing? Spike? Spike!

Half-serious now, Dr. Wolf. Should I be paying you royalties for these story ideas? But I digress.
