Eons ago, before the two sisters or even the spirit of chaos ruled; there was a war that shook the world to its very core. Mountains crumbled and oceans boiled, fire rained from the sky and even the dragons feared what may come. Armies clashed and entire landscapes were destroyed. Then abruptly, it ended. Centuries passed and nature healed, forgetting the event that nearly destroyed everything. The three pony tribes united and eventually Discord came to power. The ancient cataclysm is now completely unknown to the ponies of today. Only one remembers it, and that one lay imprisoned deep within the crystal caverns of the Canterlot mountain.

After being impersonated by a changeling queen, a defeated Cadance, lost and hopeless, will stumble across this most ancient one's prison.

Set during the changeling invasion of canterlot. Will follow some elements of the Canon story, but equestria girls will NOT be a thing.
