Terrance shot his eyes open. His vision was blurred by the smoke emerging from
his now damaged motorbike. He attempted to check his surroundings, though the smoke seemed
to have greatly impacted his sight enough to make it seem almost impossible. After a little while, he
took notice of something else on the ground a couple of feet to the left of him. It took him
a minute to realize it, but it wasn't just a downed person from the crash like he initially thought.
Instead, he saw his own girlfriend, Madison Foxhound, lying almost directly opposite him.
All of a sudden, he found everything piecing together, his brain aching as he urged himself
to remember what had occurred. The smoke began to clear up, and Terrance began to take this as his
chance to make a move towards Madison. He tried to speak;
"Ma-Maddie!" Despite his efforts, he was interrupted by a wince of pain that slipped
out from his mouth as a sudden pain took a hold of his lower body. He instantly stopped
moving and looked down at himself, examining his body, noticing a huge amount of blood on his
shirt around his stomach.
Sounds echoed around him, his vision blurring again as he appeared to descend in and out
of consciousness. Terrance managed to regain his consciousness, determined not to fall asleep
on either himself or Madison. He kept his eyes shut, making sure he was listening into the
nearby conversation so that he couldn't be distracted by the tired sounding voices in his head
telling him to sleep.
"You let your daughter go out with her boyfriend this late!? She's suicidal for Christ's sake!"
He heard a young female shouting quite angrily. He heard a couple of more screams as he slowly opened
his eyes where he saw a male paramedic kneeling down in front of him.
"You're gonna be alright, stay with me, Son."
Terrance remembered back on when Madison first attempted suicide, the name of the
paramedic suddenly clicking in. Frank Russo.
He turned his head slightly noticing two females next to Madison, recognizing them
almost instantly. Luci Foxhound, Madison's adoptive Mother, who was in a relationship with
a deputy of the San Andreas Sherrif's Department. Luci was also expecting their first
proper child soon. Nina was more or less what you could call a personal friend of Madison's, she was always at her side
when Madison was depressed. She was also a Paramedic and what Terrance assumed, to be Frank's
girlfriend. Terrance could only imagine why she was yelling at Luci earlier.
"You gotta be a bad parent if you're letting your child go out at this time!" Nina yelled as she continued to
converse with Luci. Terrance slowly began to try and explain despite he knew that he was practically incapable of
doing so.
"I-It's no-not Luci's fault.. it's.. it's mine."
He lost consciousness again, waking up a few minutes later in the back of the ambulance with Madison's
gurney right next to his. He felt weaker by the minute as they sped towards All Saints General Hospital.
He was unloaded a couple of minutes later and rushed into a surgery room where he found that he had no control over
any part of his body, his injuries were pretty much too critical to keep him alive. His body gave in as he closed his eyes a final time,
taking his last breath, although barely realizing it himself.
--
Terrance sat up, his eyes jolting open as he breathed heavily from shock. He placed his hands
over his eyes, the sun appearing to be beaming down directly onto him. He pushed himself up, looking around
in fear as he tried to recall exactly what happened.
--
Terrance was cruising on his motorcycle, the wind blowing through his blonde hair as he dashed across Market Street.
Passing the Octopussy strip club, he drove across the S-Curve before turning right onto Commerce Road. He stopped in front of two escalators, which lead
up to an extremely tall apartment complex. He pulled out his Samsung Galaxy S3, scrolling through his contacts. He eventually
found what he wanted, pressing down on the green call button as he reached Madison's number.
The phone rang three times before being picked up.
"Hello?" A quiet voice said.
"Aye, Madison. It's Terrance."
"Oh.. hey Terrance." Her voice suddenly seemed to sound a lot more relaxed and happy, though her
quietness still remaining throughout the conversation.
"Can you leave the house for about forty-five minutes? I got something I really wanna show you down at
Santa Maria Beach!" He explained, nervously waiting for her reply.
"Uh..- sure, let me just ask Luci first though.." she replied.
The line went dead as the call was put on hold for two minutes, Madison's voice
finally returning.
"She said it was okay.. although.. I need to be back in an hour or something.."
"Alright, I'm parked up outside. See you in a few." He smiled to himself as he hung up,
looking at the escalators as he awaited Madison's arrival.
Three minutes later, a woman who looked around sixteen years old was standing by the side of Terrance's bike,
looking rather nervous. Terrance smiled and offered her a helmet, softly speaking.
"Safety first."
Madison took the helmet and placed it on, securing the straps in place. She climbed onto the back of the bike,
gripping onto Terrance's back as tightly as she could.
Terrance looked behind him to check on Madison, nodding once as he began to accelerate.
They got halfway across the road when Madison's phone began ringing out of nowhere. Terrance sighed, pulling over so that
Madison could answer it. He revved the engine within no good reason, playing around with his bike until
Madison got off of the phone. She got back on and they continued to drive along the highway towards the beach.
They were almost at the beach when a loud 'POP' was heard, the bike beginning to drift uncontrollably as the
tires burst beneath them. Terrance tried to bring it to a stop, however physics seemed to have other ideas as it flipped over, colliding
into the wall of a tall hill leading up to the top of the fishing pier.
--
Terrance looked around. He realized that he was sitting in the middle of some kind of field. There was grass for miles around.
He looked around once again, observing his surroundings as closely as possible before noticing a small
settlement just below the hill he was on. Terrance turned his head to the right, staring in confusion as his Harley
was on the ground right next to them.
He blinked, almost speechless. He shook his head quickly, speaking to himself.
"How in the hell is this here?!"
He stared at it for a brief moment, realizing that it was in perfect condition. The off-road tires he always wanted were on it. He turned his attention back to the settlement, noticing all the buildings were covered with roofs made out of hay or straw.
"What the..-" He muttered to himself. Terrance thought for a moment before an idea came to mind.
"Maybe the people down there can help me get home?"
Relating the accident to this, he began to wonder if he was dreaming about his death, or just simply going crazy whilst in a coma or something. The only thing
that troubled him is that he didn't get why he woke up in a field out of all places. Slowly, he climbed onto his bike, lifting his legs and placing them onto the metal stick outs to place his feet on. He wondered where the key for the ignition was. Terrance reached into his pockets to check for anything useful. After a little while of searching, he pulled out a key for a vehicle. He pushed it into the ignition, checking to see if it fit. To his luck, it did and he turned it to the right, causing the engine to roar loudly. Without hesitating, he accelerated forward and sped down the hill towards the settlement. As he got closer, he realized that it was a small village of some sort. He slowed down a little, looking around as he drove forward at a slow pace of 10MPH. The first thing that caught his eye were a bunch of ponies staring at him. All of a sudden, a cyan mare with rainbow colored hair approached him, speaking in quite a rough-sounding voice.
"Hey Pal, welcome to Ponyville. My name's Rainbow Dash." Terrance's jaw dropped as the cyan mare started to speak.
"Y-y-you talk?!" He said softly, yet in both a shocked and confused tone.
"Why wouldn't we?" She smiled for a brief moment, though seemed kind of curious, if not intrigued, in what Terrance had to say.
All of a sudden, he heard someone yelling at him from a distance
"Heads up!" He quickly turned around to see what it was. Before he had the chance to speak, he found himself being struck in the face by a volleyball and fell down to the floor.
He woke up. Six ponies surrounded him. He had no idea where he was. Recognizing one of the six to be the Cyan pony he met earlier
"W-What the..." Terrance Groaned.
"Wake up Sleepyhead!" The Pink Pony of the group squeeled
"Who the-" Terrance began before getting interrupted by the Purple Pony
"My name is Princess Twilight Sparkle and
