The year is 2188.

Almost two years since the Reaper War.

Fire-team Millennium has been assigned with hunting down the remnants of Cerberus forces within the Viper Nebula, and chase one of their Cruisers to a strange flux in time and space left behind by a detonated Mass Relay. The specialists follow the Cruiser to a new planet, far beyond the rim of the Milky Way Galaxy, and find a world populated by a new sapient species.
