Displaced Story.

A young man painstakingly made a costume in the image of Big Bull from his favorite videogame, Anarchy Reigns, and went out to enjoy a convention. That's how the setup goes but instead of grabbing some pony-shaped artifact from a freaky dealer, it was a freak event, lightning out of nowhere, and with that a young man vanishes never to be seen again.

In Equestria, six-hundred years after Celestia sealed her sister on the moon, the Minotaurs built their only and greatest city; the two-tiered trading hub of Black Horn where it became famous and notorious for its legendary fighting arena, the Bull Pen.

It's ruler was the greatest warrior in Minotaur history and legend; a being spoken of in hushed whispers as having a body stronger than any steel and a hammer that cracked open a mountain. A warrior known only as Big Bull.

A warrior who punished all crimes in his city with battle in the arena. When ponies became involved, Celestia sought to intervene.

It has been four-hundred years after Celestia turned the brutal warrior into stone. Black Horn is now a pony city and has steadily decayed ever since as Equestrian notions of harmony turned away the rich warriors seeking to make ever more gold and glory in the Bull Pen and Unicorn nobility ousted the once multi-racial nobles.

One day, six mares and a spirit of chaos visited the statue garden, and chaos decided to see if the Big Bull had mellowed out…
