Week 10 of development was the final stage. Rainbow Dash had fully recovered and had helped the testing until now.

It was schedule as usual in the testing labs at sublevel 6, and Rainbow had recently put on her Nanosuit. The final step of the testing was a "Crash Course" filled with any kind of obstacle the Nanosuit is meant to deal with on the field.

The crash course was made up of 4 sections. Cloak Course, Armor Course, Speed Course and Power Course.

In the Cloak Course, Rainbow had to sneak past eight automated sentry guns armed with live ammunition.

In the Armor Course, she had to run past live sentry turrets with heat sensors, making use of cloak completely useless. And due to the fact that the Armor mode slows the user down while active makes it even harder.

In the Speed course, she had to evade Live grenades and Sentry guns and get to the exit.

And in the strength course, the use of the suits newly implemented "Ground Smash" ability is important as Rainbow had to use it to land on a hard surface made up of reinforced concrete.

The Cloak course went flawlessly as Rainbow conserved the Suits energy and didn't even alert the turrets.

The Armor course was a little different however. The sentry guns depleted the energy of her suit, forcing her to take cover behind a metal wall. The outcome resulted in a minor blood loss. She insisted on continuing anyway.

Rainbow our sensors show a minor blood loss! i'd advise you cancelling the course!

Negative, Twilight! I can do this!

I'm not saying this because i want to. But because i am worried! The speed course is lethal!

How exactly?

Evading live gunfire and live grenades.

Sounds like fun if you ask me!

And the speed course was the worst thing of them all. Rainbow managed to get two thirds to the exit before a grenade hit her left knee and detonated. The course had to be cancelled immediately. Medical staff arrived and checked her vitals. She was alive, but only barely.

Her vitals are critical, Ma'am! We need to get her to the Emergency Operation room at sublevel 4!

Five hours had passed since Rainbow first entered the surgery hall. It was starting to make me worried.

Nevertheless, i stayed calm. Hoping that she'd be alright.

After an entire 9 hours in the surgery room, one of the doctors exited the surgery hall.

Miss Twilight Sparkle?

Yes that's me. *sob* is she going to be alright?

I am sorry to tell you that her injuries were too great to be able to save her. The explosion caused an internal bleeding and puncturing of the veins in her leg. Cardiac arrest occured twenty minutes ago. I'm sorry, Miss Sparkle. But she's gone.

I was heartbroken. I just collapsed on the floor, crying.

The Doctor helped me to my dorm. I honestly didn't think Rainbow Dash was dead. Her family wasn't even notified at all, which made me furious. How can someones parents not know of the tragic events of their child?

I lied in my bed for the entire day after. Not even my friends could cheer me up.

The last thing i wanted to see was that Hell Spawn of a suit! And I was responsible for its creation! I had to live the rest of my life knowing that i caused the death of my friend. I can't show myself to her parents! They'd hate me for what i've done! They most likely hate me for it already, if they've already been notified.

I couldn't take it anymore. I had to do something. Until it struck my mind that the facility has an A.I on sublevel 10 that keeps track of every single event that happends. I had to clear the evidence! i didn't want my friends to hate me for what i've done. Let alone Rainbow Dash! She knows i was in charge of the development and she most likely knows I caused her death. I had no choice.

I had to get rid of all evidence of the nanosuit program!
