I, personally was the chief overwatch to make sure everything was going flawlessly. The second week of testing, Rainbow Dash, our volunteer; managed to break the record for the max speed a human can reach on foot. Reaching a top speed of 190 KM/H on the treadmill lasting for 20 seconds before the suits power supply went flat-lined. Rainbow Dash had no problem to continue testing despite my advice to take a break for a week or two. Her heartbeat was already on a  steady 50% faster pace than normally, and her blood pressure is bouncing between "Steady" and "Critical" levels. I know you're worried about my physical condition! But it's alright! End of Audio Recording The fifth week of testing was a major success for the program. We managed to fully develop the Outer Shell Altering Ability, otherwise known as "Armor mode". Rainbow Dash was capable of taking a bullet fired from a Superior Combat Assault Rifle (S.C.A.R) on several location, including the Center of the ribcage, the Lumbar and the spine. the suit protected her without breaking a sweat, so to say. But when the bullet hit her spine, she instantly fell to the ground completely lifeless. Medical staff arrived and checked her vitals. It turned out to be an adrenaline rush above her physical capacity. She recovered several days later. Begin Audio Recording *Gunshot* RAINBOW! Stand back, Twilight! We have the situation under control! THAT'S MY FRIEND YOU JUST SHOT! We're serious, Twilight! The medical staff has it under control! Doctor, what's her status? hmm... well it appears that she's just experiencing an adrenaline rush above her physical capacity. She's going to be alright, Twilight! But we need to take her to the medical station on sublevel 4! End of Audio Recording The medical staff detached the suit prototype from her body and made an on-site X-RAY scan. It appeared that her spine was completely untouched. That had to be the most stressful moment in my entire life! The sixth week was a big leap forward. Rainbow Dash had taken a long deserved RnR and we received a new, temporary volunteer.Spitfire. The Wonderbolt Air Force commander, she underwent the standard preparation procedures and received the fifth revision of the suit. This Model had been pre-installed with a Visual-Output feed connected directly to the main display, including two new features: Cloak and Nanovision. Spitfire was able to engage Cloak with no problem. As we activated our Visor-Output coming from the suit, the suit monitor flat-lined. The science team thought this was just another Suit-Power Depletion. However this was not the case. Um, Spitfire? We're not getting any inputs from your suit to our monitors. Please confirm a Suit-Power Depletion. *Garbled chatter* Spitfire this is Twilight Sparkle! Please confirm a Suit-Power Depletion! The suit had completely locked itself in its current position, rendering Spitfire unable to move. And we could not find her in the test chamber. our Nanovision-cameras were unable to register the CryFibril material the suit was made out of, when all of a sudden; the monitors went on again. and Spitfire emerged from her cloak. Begin Playback of automated Black Box What in the holy mother of f*ck just happend? I demand an explanation! Spitfire, there was a minor malfunction in the suit monitoring systems. The suit must've locked itself into place. Oddly, your vital signs flat-lined as well. Well i will sure as hell not continue this death trap of a test! I'm out! End of Audio File ///END OF LOG#01/// //-------------------------------------------------------// LOG 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// LOG 2 ///BEGIN LOG#02/// Week 10 of development was the final stage. Rainbow Dash had fully recovered and had helped the testing until now. It was schedule as usual in the testing labs at sublevel 6, and Rainbow had recently put on her Nanosuit. The final step of the testing was a "Crash Course" filled with any kind of obstacle the Nanosuit is meant to deal with on the field. The crash course was made up of 4 sections. Cloak Course, Armor Course, Speed Course and Power Course. In the Cloak Course, Rainbow had to sneak past eight automated sentry guns armed with live ammunition. In the Armor Course, she had to run past live sentry turrets with heat sensors, making use of cloak completely useless. And due to the fact that the Armor mode slows the user down while active makes it even harder. In the Speed course, she had to evade Live grenades and Sentry guns and get to the exit. And in the strength course, the use of the suits newly implemented "Ground Smash" ability is important as Rainbow had to use it to land on a hard surface made up of reinforced concrete. The Cloak course went flawlessly as Rainbow conserved the Suits energy and didn't even alert the turrets. The Armor course was a little different however. The sentry guns depleted the energy of her suit, forcing her to take cover behind a metal wall. The outcome resulted in a minor blood loss. She insisted on continuing anyway. ///BEGIN PLAYBACK OF BLACK BOX "CC1"/// Rainbow our sensors show a minor blood loss! i'd advise you cancelling the course! Negative, Twilight! I can do this! I'm not saying this because i want to. But because i am worried! The speed course is lethal! How exactly? Evading live gunfire and live grenades. Sounds like fun if you ask me! *Signal lost* ///END OF RECORDING/// And the speed course was the worst thing of them all. Rainbow managed to get two thirds to the exit before a grenade hit her left knee and detonated. The course had to be cancelled immediately. Medical staff arrived and checked her vitals. She was alive, but only barely. ///BEGIN NANOSUIT BLACKBOX PLAYBACK/// *Incomprehensible Talking* Her vitals are critical, Ma'am! We need to get her to the Emergency Operation room at sublevel 4! DO IT! ///END OF RECORDING/// Five hours had passed since Rainbow first entered the surgery hall. It was starting to make me worried. Nevertheless, i stayed calm. Hoping that she'd be alright. After an entire 9 hours in the surgery room, one of the doctors exited the surgery hall. Miss Twilight Sparkle? Yes that's me. *sob* is she going to be alright? I am sorry to tell you that her injuries were too great to be able to save her. The explosion caused an internal bleeding and puncturing of the veins in her leg. Cardiac arrest occured twenty minutes ago. I'm sorry, Miss Sparkle. But she's gone. I was heartbroken. I just collapsed on the floor, crying. The Doctor helped me to my dorm. I honestly didn't think Rainbow Dash was dead. Her family wasn't even notified at all, which made me furious. How can someones parents not know of the tragic events of their child? I lied in my bed for the entire day after. Not even my friends could cheer me up. The last thing i wanted to see was that Hell Spawn of a suit! And I was responsible for its creation! I had to live the rest of my life knowing that i caused the death of my friend. I can't show myself to her parents! They'd hate me for what i've done! They most likely hate me for it already, if they've already been notified. I couldn't take it anymore. I had to do something. Until it struck my mind that the facility has an A.I on sublevel 10 that keeps track of every single event that happends. I had to clear the evidence! i didn't want my friends to hate me for what i've done. Let alone Rainbow Dash! She knows i was in charge of the development and she most likely knows I caused her death.
