The Tears I Cry

"C-Celestia?" Luna whimpered as she entered Celestia's chambers. "I can't sleep."

"Come dear sister," Celestia smiled, patting on the empty side of her bed. "I will sing you a lullaby."

"My favorite?" Questioned Luna, her ears perking up as she laid on the bed beside her.

"Much different, Sister," Celestia chuckled, "I'm going to sing the one mother sings to us."

"Which one?" Asked Luna.

Celestia stroking her blue sparkling mane as she sang in a hushed voice,

Hush now, quiet now

It's time to lay your sleepy head

Luna held Celestia's hoof tightly.

Hush now, quiet now

It's time to go to bed

Luna yawned a bit as she joined in,

Drifting off to sleep

With exciting day behind you

Luna closed her eyes and snuggled in Celestia's chest,

Drifting off to sleep

Celestia sang to herself and Luna as they drifted off to Dreamland.

Hush now, quiet now

It's time to lay your sleepy head

Hush now, quiet now

It's time to go to bed

Celestia whispered as she shut her eyes,

"I love you, my dear sister. I missed you so much."
