The Start Of It All
Jonathan's POV-
It was the year 2020 and NASA had just sent the first 5 astronauts to Mars, Windows 12 had just been released, and the robotics company called Ex-Corp had just opened their first lab in the outskirts of Raleigh, North Carolina.
"Damn it!" I yelled as I threw the screwdriver I was holding onto the floor, I had just received a small electric shock from our companies latest project. Also my name is Jonathan Lore.
"What happened now?" said my partner, his name is Gabriel Lucas, he flew here straight from London to see if he could get a job with us, apparently he was really bad at holding a job because of his work habits, which in all honesty, weren't that bad. They pretty much involved and addiction to creating video games during his work hours which is actually a bonus to us because it involves programming and modeling and animating which is a big bonus for our company called Ex-Corp ran by us and two others, and Japanese guy named Itsuki Takashi and an Irishman named Micheal Finnegan.
"The robot shocked me!" I said rather annoyed while shaking my hand trying to get some feeling back in it
"Let me guess, you touched the circuits again while it was turned?" asked Gabriel, I then looked at him with look you give people when your extremely annoyed at them.
"It was turned on, why is it turned on while I'm working on it?" then George looked over my shoulder.
"Maybe you should go ask Micheal, he'll probably tell you." After I heard Micheal say that I got up and stormed out of the room into the next which was our electricity room where our generator and all the fuses are. The explanation I got was that they were testing the generator to make sure it worked and turned on everything to make sure we didn't have to but another one. Now on to the project me and Micheal are working, it is a robot with possibly some of the most advanced coding ever seen, as this robot was an AI created by us four to see if fully independent and free thinking robots are possible, and boy were we right.
