Mystery of the Tonberry

The battle had commenced; their stood a knee high, green, lizard fish-like creature wearing a brown cotton cloak whilst wielding a lantern in one hand; and a butchers knife in the other. Staring the enemy with it's small, beady, yellow eyes; it leered towards a tall man all dressed in black with brown spikey hair, a chirpy girl in yellow, and a blonde woman with blue eyes wearing orange.

"Only one more should do it, eh Squall!" said the girl in yellow jumping with excitement.

The small creature slowly plodded towards them like a snail, locking on to them as if it was going to do something really nasty to them when he'd finally get over there. The three humans prepared the selves as if it was going to be a fight for the life, quite literally. The man in black nodded to the woman on his left before lunging towards the creature with his large sword that had a revolver built into it known as a gun blade. With one large swipe, the green menace had been thrown back a few meters as if the blow had been quite strong, but was still in good condition to fight strangely enough.

Next up was the smaller girl in yellow with the brown curled hair. Out of nowhere, she had had summoned a large fire ball that had materialised inside the creature before exploding, leaving devastating damage. It picked itself off the ground along with it's lantern and knife, and Continued to slug it's way towards them. The girl in yellow decided to unleash another attack, this time a flurry of hits with her nunchucks. Whack, smack, thwack, crack; hit after hit after hit of brutal blows to the head, the creature was still determined to attack as if it had nothing to lose. It Continued to move slowly towards it's foe, this time staggering as though it was injured.

"Selfie, stand back!" Called the blonde woman, "I'm gonna use Shiva!"

Cracking her whip, she let off a glorious power. Ice started to materialize on the floor spreading vastly until it was under everyone's feet. All of a sudden out of nowhere, a large iceberg containing a frozen woman inside shot out of the ground. The woman inside opened her eyes before the ice came to a shatter. She then lifted her arm to cast this blues light from the palm of her hand before fire a huge field of ice towards the little green monster severely wounding it.

The creature could not not move, the aches and pains were immense, it had lost the battle towards it's enemies. There was no point trying to fight it, it was over for the little fella. His consciousness drifting off into darkness, out of nowhere a strange light appeared before his very yellow eyes; but it looked more like a vortex of sorts that felt like it was pulling him in, ready to take him someplace unpleasant. Then... Silence.

"That ought to do it, now where is..." Said the girl in yellow before all three of them sharpley turned around to a large thump.

This time confronted by what looks like the same creature, exactly identical in features but bigger and wearing a crown. A king.

"When we bag this GF, I'm junctioning it; ME!" Said the girl in yellow.

"whatever...," said the man in black without emotion.

"Ergh, I hate tonberries," remarked the blonde woman with annoyance.

The three prepared them selves for a fight to the death with the king Tonberry, but what of the little tonberry they had just defeated? Where did he go? Let's find out...
