For The Motherland, and into...

A hail shots crashed through the thin wooden door between Viktor and the German squad, Several pierced through his left arm and leg. He collapsed gasping heavily. He could almost hear voices singing There March the Soldiers as his world turned black.

Viktor Kerchenco Dursk, a fine soviet. Was marched into a battle that was to be the death of him. The Germans were to heavily prepared for the upcoming battle. He had no chance when his squad was downed and he was stranded in a fire-station.

He fought valiantly, he died like a dog, and he lived again.

And he didn't entirely enjoy waking up somewhere a child would have imagined.
